Default Garfield Movie

There is going to be a garfield movie coming out on June 11th. They are already showing commericals for it. It looks really cute. I am a fan of garfield. I just love garfield. Has anyone else seen the commerical? Anyone else looking forward to seeing the movie? I'm surprised they are already showing commericals for it since it's almost two months away. I saw the commerical for the first time last Friday, which would have been two months and two days before the movie is to open.

It looks godawful. Why, Bill Murray, why?

I've always loved Garfield, the lazy, cynical feline. I have a small stuffed Garfield wearing a Santa cap that my brother gave me when he was ten years old -- 25 years ago.

I think the movie will be a summer blockbuster for the kids. It certainly has a good cast. This is the type of kid's movie that appeals to me. I can see myself taking a youngster or two in my family. If not, I'll definitely rent it.

Here's something that's incredibly ****ed up about that movie: Garfield is CGI, but Odie is a real dog - and the pooch they used doesn't resemble Odie at all.

It's sad, but most movies these days are 1:30 ****fests.

My friends all think I'm insane- but I wanna see this. Garfield is just so funny- Bill Murray's probably the best for the voice. I only really want to see this for the cat- the human actors, I'm not so sure if they'll be good.

I agree with that! There is a difference between the original Garfield and this 'clone' for a movie

very weird.

This movie shouldve definately gone for a Roger Rabbit effect, with 2D cartoons mixed with 3D environments.
But whatever, another disgrace in the movieworld.

I am NOT going to watch this. I just know it's going to bomb. COME ON - THEY'RE COMING OUT WITH A LIVE-ACTION PACMAN MOVIE! I'm all for 80's nostalgia (having been born in 1985 myself), but I will NOT sink this low!

And, God, WHY IS JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT IN THIS MOVIE?? WHY?
