Ahh, so Batman is coming to TV Land after all! I wonder where they are going to put it in their all ready cramped schedule?

Was Batman a 30 minute show?

Question:

What is getting kicked off of N @ N and TVland in order for Batman and The Cosby Show to come on? I know I'll drop dead if N @ N decides to move on up to 7 shows at one time!

That is a long time away, so no idea what shows will be dumped, if any.
Batman was a 1 hour show, in the last season they had a lot of 30 min episodes though.

Batman was never EVER an hour long. It was always a 30 minute show. During the first season it featured two-parters that would air on consecutive nights, but only 30 minutes each night. The show never aired for a full hour at any point during its run. Not even as a special.

What th-!! I don't mind Batman, but doesn't the Sci-Fi channel play it, or did? And why The Cosby Show?!?!? They play an hour of it on WGN and its also shown on TBS! And its in syndication where I live, on my affliate kdfi station! Just like Cheers, I'm gonna get to watch double, tripple hours of it!!! ARGHH!!!! Out of all the shows to get, GEEZ!!! Why do they always have to change their lineup, I don't GET IT?!?!?!?!?

First of all, I have no idea what Sci-Fi is doing. They never have a regular schedule so Batman usually just airs once a month as a marathon. As for The Cosby Show coming to N&N, it seems to me that N&N needs to start thinking logically when it comes to programming. Yes, The Cosby Show should come to Nick at Nite but it's too soon. They should wait until it dies down in syndication. That way more viewers will watch it on Nick at Nite. That certainly was what happened with The Brady Bunch. However, I think N&N has jumped the gun with Cheers, Three's Company and Family Ties. They should have waited a couple years these shows aren't old enough.

I disagree about '3s'...because then 'Diff'rent Strokes' and 'The Facts of Life' are to young to....and so would've "The Wonder Years", "Laverne & Shirley", and "Happy Days" when they came to Nick at Nite. And '3s' is only shown locally on three stations now

My main point is, that once they begin to taper off in syndication, THEN Nick at Nite should go after them. The Cosby Show is running rampant on TBS, WGN and many local stations and this is the same for Family Ties and Cheers which are still on many local stations. As for Three's Company, how did you come up with three stations?

What made The Facts of Life, Diff'rent Strokes and The Wonder Years successful was do to the fact that they were virtually not airing anywhere. Perhaps one or two stations, at the time they came to N&N, at least this was the case with Diff'rent Strokes and still is.

Currently (According to many Sources), most stations that aired "Three's Company" dropped it when they changed their schedules in September. So, the same amount of stations "Diff'rent Strokes" and "Three's Company" are nearly equal (The most TC possibly has is 4-5....and I've seen some of the schedules from those stations, and it's on at around 5 AM)

But, "Cheers" and "The Cosby Show" are WAY to rampart in syndication. I mean, "Cheers" airs in most places, and "The Cosby Show" airs almost in every city on one station or another (For Me Alone, "The Cosby Show" comes on FOX, WGN, and TBS...who knows about others!)

There are shows such as "Silver Spoons", "Perfect Strangers", "Soap", etc. that should be on Nick at Nite....last year, Nick was about shows you usually don't find on your average local station ("The Facts of Life", "Three's Company", etc, and "Diff'rent Strokes" in March), but now they've become a TBS/WGN mock up, at least most of it has (Most of the shows that aren't all that regularly are on late at nite now)

FAMILY TIE REALLY? i hadn't seen that show anywhere until nick at nite. TBS only aired it at like 430 in the morning at like, how is up at that time of a night? i agree about fol and ds though.
