Yesterday afternoon the UltimateDisney.com website posted the following information about Popular DVDs:

...making its DVD debut is "Popular", the one-hour dramedy that ran for two seasons (1999-2001) on the WB. The first season will street in July.

Disney/Buena Vista has not issued any press release about this yet; UltimateDisney.com is the only source that has provided this information so far. I just saw "Booty Camp" at the Museum of Television & Radio recently. It's the only episode they've got, and the only coverage of Sara Rue they've got.

According to TVShowsOnDVD.com, all 22 episodes of Popular - Season 1 will be released on 7/20/04, in a 6 disc set, with a retail price of $59.99. Finally, those who have been jonesing for a Mary Cherry fix can just sit back, relax, and watch in unedited, commercial free comfort.
