Default I found it odd that Lifetime creates their own version of

CLOSING CREDITS. Do they do that with all their shows? It's like they replace the original closing credits with a lifetime version of the closing credits. That's the first time i ever saw that.

I don't watch Lifetime so I can't comment on it, really. Some networks will use a split-screen to have a promo for a new show on the side and the credits on the other side. Perhaps they'll change the colors or text to fit their layout but I doubt they're actually making their own.

That's nothing new. Any network prime time series you see these days don't have the show's own original closing credits run. Credits that you see as a sidebar on the screen (Smallville on The WB, for example) won't be that way if the show is released on dvd. Most networks run their own credits screen.

TBS also runs all the original credits for Mama's Family, but they don't for most of their other shows.

ABC Family also makes up their own credits also. I really hate it when networks do that. I like hearing the closing music of my shows. ABC Family not playing the credits for Growing Pains really bugs me. I want the full sitcom experience when I watch--from opening credits to the end credits and the little Paramount or WB logo.

They did that with Mork & Mindy when they aired it. Good thing the series is coming out on DVD this year. It would beat any TV version.

I noticed when Lifetime aired the 'Laverne and Shirley' episode "Bowling for Razzberries," they used the credits for the episode "The Bachelor Party."

This trend was started by NBC at the beginning of the 1994-1995 season. Like logos embedded on the bottom corner of the screen I was hoping that it wouldn't catch on, but alas, both annoyances have become commonplace.
