Kinda disappointing in my opinion. Had some decent moments but overall I just wasnt overly enthused. 6 out of 10 stars.

It was okay. Not great, but all right. One logical flaw - Patrick claims that Stevie has never been on a movie set before, yet there have been two episodes where Stevie's hanging around on Alex's movie sets. Best part of the episode - Patrick's interaction with his fellow teachers. I hope I see more of the finest examples of the Los Angeles school system!

I agree.....Patrick's ex-girlfriend was very funny.

Guess I'm in the minority with this one, but I really liked it. I figured something like this was going to happen sooner or later. Alex has a sexy scene in one of her movies, and Patrick has to deal with pangs of jealousy. I thought they handled it very well. The guy who played her ex-boyfriend was good. Typical looker with the player mentality.

Which, I believe, is part of the reason why Alex was so attracted to Patrick in the first place. Jack plays the Hollywood game, and even though he seems to be a perfectly nice guy, he still comes across kind of fake. He's impressed with himself. The contrast between him and Patrick is clearly delineated. Patrick is genuine. He's sincere. Alex knows where he's coming from. He doesn't play games with her. I think Alex knows what she has.

I hear you. But I'm wondering if that might be justified as Patrick himself not thinking too logically at that moment. Despite his front, he was clearly unsettled about Alex co-starring with her ex, especially with a love scene involved. Patrick was the one who really wanted to be on that set. One of the funniest moments for me: Patrick is a bit flustered after meeting Jack, and starts babbling about Alex being a work of art. Then, "I don't know what I'm saying."

I agree. The scenes in the faculty lounge are really good--in any episode. Ed and Wendy provide some good supporting commentary.

And of course, recognition must be given for the reconcilation at the end. It was vintage Alex and Patrick, and as such, it was exceptional. They always have this way of smoothing things over so beautifully. I've seen it many times, and I love it every time. One of my favorite parts of the show is finding out how they're going to talk things through in the end. Very cool stuff.

Scale of 1 to 10, I give it a solid 7, maybe even an 8. Job well done.
