I suggest you record Tru Calling, because the ratings aren't great at all and some news stories say it's doa (dead on arrival)

I think it will be canceled soon.

Fox Stays 'Tru' to Drama, Gives 'Ricochet' Shot

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Fox Broadcasting Co. has picked up seven additional episodes of its freshman drama "Tru Calling," starring Eliza Dushku (news). The network also has given a fast-track pilot order to another drama prospect, "Ricochet."

The order for "Tru Calling" brings to 20 the number of segments the network has picked up for the show. The batch of episodes, two short of the standard 22-episode order for a drama series, will run through the end of the season, which for Fox is abbreviated because of postseason baseball coverage in the fall.

"Tru Calling," a reality-bending vehicle centering on a recent college graduate who works the night shift at the city morgue, was assigned the tough Thursday 8 p.m. slot, opposite "Friends" on NBC. In its most recent airing, the show averaged 3.8 million viewers and a 1.5 rating/4 share in adults 18-49.

The early pilot order given to "Ricochet" reflects Fox's ongoing effort to develop new projects year-round and launch new series during the summer months. "Ricochet" will twist the traditional police drama format by showing the climax of a crime at the start of the show and then double back to show how the incident unfolded.
