or Headmaster Patrick Elliot. Is he or his brother Christopher (from the '80s cast of Saturday Night Live and the "six-fingered man" in the film "The Princess Bride")british or american? I can't tell one way or the other. I thought Nicole Kidman and Elton John were american until I heard them speak in interviews.

I hope you've gotten an answer by now, but if not, I can tell you that Christopher Guest was born in New York City in 1948 and is definitely an American. I would assume his brother Nicholas is, too, but I don't have any information about his place of birth.
