Default Tim Daly gets new TV series

I stumbled across this news item:

ABC is hoping that Tim Daly has another hit series in him. Four years after the disappointment of CBS' update of "The Fugitive," Tim Daly hopes to return to a regular primetime home with "Eyes," from John McNamara ("Fastlane"). The former "Wings" thespian will play the president of a risk management corporation.

-------

I'm not sure if this is just in discussion or a done deal, but I hope it happens. Steven has the D.A. on ABC coming out in March, even if it's only 4 episodes, so come on ABC, where is a deal for Crystal!!

It's too bad The Fugitive never made it, but hopefully (if it does come about) this latest one will last!

I would love to see ALL of the "Wings" principals get "new lives" with successful films or TV series, just like Tony Shalhoub did....

Of course, there IS sort of a selfishness to my wish.....I figure that if the "Wings" cast members have new successes, then more exposure will be given to them (through articles, interviews, etc.)....and when THAT happens, "Wings" would probably be mentioned as part of their "career resume"...and THAT would help to keep "Wings" in the public eye and mind!

Yeah, I wish that for Thomas Haden Church, but I also enjoy the mystery of him. I don't need to know more about him then I've already learned online. I don't really want to know about his relationships and I don't want to see arial photos of his ranch and I don't want to know how much he makes per movie. I want to love him for his talent, not for his popularity.

Tim Daly's pilot is "for consideration." Meaning, it will be announced by May if it will make the fall 2004 line-up or mid-season 2005 line-up.

And of course as losthighway mentioned, Steven Weber on an ABC drama coming this spring for a short four episode run, titled, "The D.A.:
