"Doc: Season 1" on DVD - 2/3/03 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Back in August we reported that the PAX network's #1 show, Doc, would be coming to DVD in 2004.

Trade informer Video Store Magazine had a story today about a new label, PAX Home Entertainment, being put together to produce the DVDs for both this and Ponderosa (another PAX hit), to be distributed by Ventura Distribution (per the August deal).

Following up with Ventura, we have learned that Doc - Season 1 will be a 9-hour release (disc count was not specified) that will hit the shelves on February 3rd, at a list price of $39.99. Extras mentioned include Trailers, Bloopers, and an Interview with series star Billy Ray Cyrus called "From Music to Medicine". Other specs (such as audio and video formats) were not disclosed.

Stay tuned; we'll follow up in the near future with a release listing that should contain full specs and cover art for this DVD about a handsome country doctor.

That is my main viewing habit watching PAX-TV Line-up of Doc and Sue Thomas FBEYE because of family shows!! Wished I lived in the fifties through-eighties!!
