The earlier Rugrats were A LOT better.
The VERY early seasons.
I loved the two teenagers, one fat one tall and skinny. They just "happened" to work EVERYWHERE.

The show was a lot funnier then, and the voices were better.

Oh yeah, I remember those guys. When the paint was falling on them on one episode, they kept saying "Dude you look like Swamp Thing" and "You look like a Smurf" and laughing.

D'oh! I want a DVD of the GOOD seasons. i.e. the ones before the voices and animations changed, and before there was Dil.

If everyone here is registered at tvshowsondvd.com , go vote for Rugrats Season Sets only. "Best of" ones are already out, and Individual ones will be the crappy new ones. If they come out with seasons, they'll start with the first one and go up, which woud ROCK!!

I thought I was the only one who liked the rugrats before Dil and Kimmy.I told that to my children they asked me why. I couldn't explain it and they thought I was crazy. But it's good to know there are other people out there that feel like I do. My favorite character is Angelica. My favorite episode is when she pretends to break her leg and Didi and Stu wait on her hand and foot. It was hilarious!

You're definitely not the only one. Phil and Lil act really different, Tommy and Chuckie's voices sounds weird and different, Kimmy doesn't talk or add much, Dil is sort of funny; but the point is, it's not the same chemistry before Kimmy and Dil came. I mean, the old shows could be for adults OR kids! Like, there are some jokes such as Chuckie seeing his Dad lying in the sand buried except for his head and Chuckie yells, "Ahh!! My Dad's been decafinated!" not many little kids are gonna get it. Now it just seems like a pure kiddie show.
