Does anyone remember the show is called "Working Stiffs" from 1979 on CBS & Reruns on The USA Network back in 1983-1988?

I wonder why USA showed reruns of Working Stiffs and the show was only on the air from Sept 15, 1979 to-Oct 6, 1979. THat's like a total of 4 eps. |

Actually, Paramount released 3 volumes of this series on VHS. I have Vol. 1. According to the VHS back cover, there were 8 episodes that aired, although you are right about the airing list that (I read the same thing in a book).
The Show is noted for "launching" Michael Keaton and James Belushi's career. However, a better source for Michael Keaton fans be best found in "Mary" the short lived Variety Series also starring...David Letterman ![]() Hope this helps ![]()

Oh yeah, I remember that show - it had its moments. Michael Keaton and Jim Belushi had an underappreciated chemistry together, as I remember. Would you beleive, by the way, that I heard of Jim Belushi before I heard of his more famous brother John? The simple explanation is this - I was too young to stay up and watch "Saturday Night Live" at the time.

I was at the Hyde Park Library and I found a video tape called "Working Stiffs". The show lasted about a couple of episodes.

This show did indeed air 8 episodes because Comedy Central aired them in mini-marathons over and over about 5 or 6 years ago. That's where I taped them from.
