I watch The Practice faithfully--never miss it. I like how they've kept the cast small which creates good character development. I love courtroom dramas. The show has great storylines, and the faithful viewer knows how previous characters and storylines intersect and resurface.
They've had some of the most ingenious plot twists.... some real jawdroppers. The casting is wonderful. Bobby, the leader always struggling with his ethics; Lindsay, strung out from the attempts on her life, Eugene, angry and fierce in his convictions; Jimmy, poor gambling, trying to fit in Jimmy; Eleanor, the voice of reason; Helen, trying to strike a balance between her friendships and the law; Rebecca and Lucy--hey, they don't get enough airtime. Each character on The Practice is intense and strong-willed. I love the show. It's well-written without the cliched happy neat little endings. The killing of Prosecutor Richard Bay proved that. I like that it's based in my hometown of Boston too.

When the Practice first came on Rebecca was Bobby's conscience she always told him her opinion. It was there place. It was cool when he said all I had was a typewriter and you.

I love The Practice, but it doesn't have the appeal that it used to have in the first 3 or 4 seasons. 5th and 6th totally sucked to me. I mean I know the majority like Bobby and Lindsay together, but I can't stand them together anymore, they're storyline is boring. They've done it all, dated, married, baby, now they need to get a divorce and or at least have affairs or something. God this show needs some sex on it. I still love it, but they need to go back to basics. More sex, more character storylines, like Lucy and Rebecca, give these girls a real storyline for once!

If Bobby has an affair with anyone it should be Lucy in my opinion. They have history and the Helen thing has been done. So if he does, it better be with Lucy! LOL!
S P O I L E R If you have not seen this season yet, don't read below. I'm just forewarning. But Bobby said that he would be leaning on everyone personally this year. So that makes me think that he will lean on everyone including Lucy, but he's already leaned on Elleanor and Rebecca, and the new girl wasn't there when he said that, so I don't think they will hook up, but the only people left are Jimmy, Eugene and Lucy. HMMMMMMM Make me wonder

I have been watching for a few years and really enjoy it. This is one show where you don't know what will happen next. Some of the jury decisions have left me speechless!! Some of the clients I still think about, years later, they were so unforgettable. Also you never know if someone is going to be killed off like the District Attorney a couple of years ago I am getting annoyed with the Jimmy Berlutti character. He is always using bad judgement, getting in over his head, and when he "borrowed" the firm's money last season for a gambling debt, he crossed the line.

I watched The Practice last night & it is a good show. I just started watching it cause my mother is a big fan of the show. Jimmy is the fat guy right? He played in Spike Lee's Jungle Fever & Summer Of Sam movies. Bobby & Lindsey broke up last night cause Lindsey saw him kissing his ex girlfriend. What's Lara Flynn Boyle's name on the show? I remember seeing a commercial when her & Bobby were in the shower together kissing a long time ago. Lara is hot but she's so skinny LOL. She looks anarexic. What's the black woman's name on the show? I know her real name is Lisa Gay Hamilton & the black guy who plays on the show who's name is Eugene, i saw him in the movie Sugar Hill as Wesley Snipes best friend. He also played in Bringing Down The House with Queen Latifah.
