Wasn't it an Emily D. poem?

(wasn't the actor who played the football player Ben Afleck?)

Yeah, in the episode Dorothy Jane said is was a poem by Emily Dickenson, but after a long, long, very long saerch into all Emily Dickenson's poetry, I could not find it, which has made me come to one of two conclusions, It's not an Emily Dickenson poem, in which case, I would need to find out who wrote it(ie someone on the staff or the writters) or I'm totally blind and can't find it. SO any help would be much appreciated, or if someone finds it, You can post it here, and I would be so very grateful. It's a very beautiful poem, and it kinda sucks that I can't remember how it goes. As for the Ben Afflick thing, I have no idea.

Thank You

I'm gonna sound pretty stupid saying it cuz i can't remember most of the lines, but it starts out something like... give me a kiss, and then another, and then a dozen more(??) and then i forget the middle but it ends something about how each kiss will always feel like the first kiss. I don't know, now I feel dumb. It probably doesn't help, but that's all I got.

Maybe that is a poem written by Elizabeth Barrett Browning...We should do some research.

Talking

I think my sister found it!:

Give me a kiss, and to that kiss a score;
Then to that twenty, add a hundred more:
A thousand to that hundred: so kiss on,
To make that thousand up a million.
Treble that million, and when that is done,
Let's kiss afresh, as when we first begun.

Robert Herrick (1591–1674)
from "To Anthea"

Does that sound right?

Yes, I agree, we need to do some research. At least now I have hopefully, a place to look, I wasn't about to search every single poet...

We make a great team!

I'm going to miss researching now...Are there any other un-answered questions in the world to answer?

Hahaha, well, I'd like to know what the heck daylight saving is... how a 7 pound bundle of joy can fit through such a small space(if you know what I mean) and how many licks DOES it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop??? By the way, since I'm on a Torkelsons forum, what did happen to that one boy and I think her name is Ruth Ann, when the family moved??

I have no idea what happened to the two missing kids! I always thought they were a close little bunch but POOF! The mom, nor anyone else ever mentioned them again...

...Or Border Hodges...Whatever happened to him...?

Oh, the mysterious ways of life...
