Default heart of a baboon

wow. that was so interesting and yet bizarre. i never thought that a baboon's heart could be replaced for a human heart and last for two months.

when peter went up to andy to ask "so are you really going to do it?" he looked so scary, I thought he would do something drastic that he would end up regreting. anyone else think that?

I almost started scrying when i seen that part,i'm not sure why but i feel so sorry for animals that are locked up for there whole lives and then all of sudden one day kill them for a heart I think i did hear that somewhere else that you could use a baboon's heart for a human but i think that its wrong i mean how often do we kill people so an animal can live...NEVER.I think i'm gonna become an animal rights person

join the club! while i'm all for saving a human, i also think it's completely wrong to isolate an animal, just to kill it.

oh that sucks. ok here's what happened toots....

this rich mother and her daughter come into the rittenhouse. the mother is so paranoid and protective of her daughter. she keeps insisting that dr. campbell treat her daughter, who has the flu. dr. campbell has turned in for the night, but lu was pulling an all-nighter. so, she takes her. at first, the mother was freaked out, especially after she asked lu if she was a real doctor and lu made a joke about going to the community college for her m.d. or something. so, lu had the mother leave, and told her it was nothing. then she asked the girl if she had any drug problems and addictions, or stds or anything. the girl responded by saying not all rich kids shoot up (something like that). so lu, admitted her and gave her some medicine. then a while later, she started seizing and lu was trying to shock her, but she couldn't get a pulse and then she called the time of death. the mother came in the morning and andy told her about it. she got all pissed off and said "my daughter came in last night with the flu and now she's dead." she said she would hire someone to begin an investigation asap. andy then asked lu if she was sure that she prescribed the right amount of medication. then, a while later, the mother comes back and tells andy that after searching her daughter's room, she found cocaine. andy tells lu this, and lu is off the hook. you see, the medication lu gave her, with the cocaine, was a fatal combination.

this ballerina needed a new heart, but none of the waiting lists had one. so, they did a risky procedure that involved replacing her heart with one of a baboon's. peter and other animal rights activists were protesting against this. it got so far, that when the baboon arrived at the hospital, dr. jackson was attacked (which i thought was funny, he deserved it after all he did...lol). then peter speaks out against attacking this issue and accepting it, because it'll help a human being. the supporters are dissapointed and leave. the transplant takes place. the ballerina only has about two months to find a new heart.

jess tells andy that she's going to sleep over a friend's house. when lu called andy to tell them that rich mother and daughter were there, andy called jess' friend to have jess come babysit liz so she can go to the hospital. she finds out jess is not at her friend's house, nor her other friend's house. finally, jess shows up in the middle of the night. andy, worried sick, asks her where she's been, but jess refuses to answer, saying she is legally protected. after hearing this, andy grounds jess for a month (i think). later, andy is cleaning jess' room and finds her diary and reads it. her fear of her daughter having sex or doing drugs is erased, when she reads that her daughter was out with an older boy, listening to his band play. at the end, andy opens up to jess and tells her that she was in love with a guy who was much older in high school, who her parents dissaproved of. then, jess asks what would andy do if she found out she was dating an older boy, and tells andy about the boy.

that's all folks!
