Yeah, add that to this site! It certainly has a following. ESPN Classic shows reruns of it every weekday at 10 PM Eastern Time. It's a classic! Coolidge, Thorpe, Haywood, Goldstein, Gomez, stop me anytime! Coach Reeves, Mario Petrino......

Is it a sitcom? The TV reference book I have lists it as 1 hour drama.

Is the definition of a sitcom indeed a half-hour show? If it is, I didn't know it. In either event, 'Shadow' is so excellent, that it should be an exception. The show definitely had its humorous moments; and not just a few.
'The White Shadow' - thee greatest TV series of all time. Watch it every weekday morning at 10 Eastern on ESPN Classic. It will do you very good. |

No a sitcom doesn't necessarily have to be 30 minutes, but the line has to be drawn somehwere or the list would be endless if every show that humor in it was included. I think most people would call The White Shadow a drama.
