need help remembering the name of a short-lived show...comedy, mid 70's. had a lady with short red hair that looked like the gal from cagney and lacey (don't know if it was her..think her name might be ann something) and a guy whose face reminds you of an ape. the show was about this couple who found this Buddha statue at a rummage sale and when it was rubbed, it caused the couple to switch places...the opening showed the man stepping out onto the porch in a fluffy bathrobe to get the paper and the lady was smoking a cigar. this has been driving me crazy for about 15 years so if anyone has any clue what i am talking about please post!

Hi,
I found a show called "Turnabout" on imdb.com, which starred Sharon Gless from Cagney and Lacey, and sounds like the plot you described. Hope this helps. |
