Default In Living Color

Any fans of this sketch show here? What was FX thinking taking this off in reruns? I taped as much as I could but still missed a few great episodes. My favorite characters are done mostly by David Alan Grier. His crooked infomercial salesman, Loomis Simmons, and his insulting bluessinger, Calhoun Tubbs never cease to crack me up.

I agree, maybe it will come back soon because M.A.S.H is leaving FX soon.

Brett Ferino the theme song words were You Can Do What You Wanna Do In Living Color LOL. I remember Heavy D did the theme song when it first came on. Boy i miss watching this show. My favorite actors on there were Tommy Davidson, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Damon Wayans, David Alan Grier, Kim Wayans, Jim Carrey was cool. What was the white woman's real name on there? Those dancers they had were tight too. Cedric The Entertainer tried to have his show like In Living Color & it didn't work. That's why it got cancelled hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I haven't seen reruns of this show in a long time. It got corny when Jamie Foxx, Anne Marie Johnson & some other new people came on there. Jamie was funny though when he used to do that skit Wanda. Wanda had big lips & she was ugly LOL.

Oh you mean the fly girls that included Jennifer Lopez? LOL. Gosh, did she look different back then.

This show was off the hook. I looked it up, and I think the white girl's name is Kelly Coffield. She was funny as hell. The whole cast was awesome the first few years, but then when people started leaving, like the Wayne's fam, and Kelly, the show started to get lame.

I could have sworn Keenan and Damon were on longer than from 90-92, but that's what imdb says. Crazy. I didn't think they left until 93 or 94, and I thought the show actually started in 89. I can't remember anything.

Default Huge In Living Color fan

I am a big fan and my favorite actor on there was Damon Wayans. My favorite charactors he did was the homless man Antwone Jackson, and Homey the Clown. Most especially one half of the gay film critics on Men on FIlms. I am really glad to hear that Homey the Clown is going to be made into a movie with Damon Wayans, it's about time.

I'm a huge fan of the show... I think my favorite characters were Homey D. Clown and Fire Marshal Bill... Jimmy Carey was hilarious! I really miss the show. FX doesn't have the reruns anymore... I wrote them about it, and they never replied! I only have a few of them on tape. I really wish I would have taped more now!

I have "In Living Color" episodes on tape. It features one of my favorite game show spoofs. Peter Marshall hosted a classic parody "East Hollywood Squares", Jim Carrey does a "Pyramid" parody and other game show spoofs like "The Dirty Dozens" and "The Wheel of Dozens". I like the "Dirty Dozens" part that has "Yo mama is so fat!", "Yo mama so dirty!", "Yo mama so stupid!" and other great lines. Let's not forget the new line:

"YO MAMA SO FAT! THAT....
MICHELLE AND THE OTHER MICHELLE FROM "FULL HOUSE" BOTH SHAKING THEIR A**ES OFF!!!"

That is a "Dirty Dozens" joke. In that show, I love J-Lo as a fly girl. I like to watch it again!

When are they going to put this show on DVD? If FX won't put it back on their schedule.
