What scenes in this show are improvised and what ones are scripted? Is it certain ones?

Most of the "Morning Chicago" Stuff like I guess Bonnie being drunk on cough medicine last night.It was planned but the stuff she said wasn't.

The "live" talk show stuff is strictly on the fly, and everything else is supposed to be scripted, but judging by what I have seen, it looks like they're doing some ad libbing in the "scripted" scenes as well... |

Kids acting...
I think the kids on the show are actually good & don't act like they're acting. To me it seems very casual to watch the interaction of the kids & Gloria, and Bonnie.
Also, Frankie cracks me up. In a way, I hope we never meet his parents. They should be like "Vera on Cheers" or "Maris on Frasier"..where the image of them is more scary than anything an actor could do justice too... Christopher |
