Mail Order Bride: It all started about four decades ago. Maybe a touch longer than that. There was a guy who would go to television and film sets and bring a catalog that included women's photos. They were all Asian and all wanted to get married to an American. There were other companies then, but, the owner of this one particular company decided that he could make a lot more money if he went to people who could afford to pay him a lot more money. He could get to sets that were filming outside, but could never get into studios or on a lot. The thing is though, he made a friend in this permanent A list actor/comedian. The actor/comedian thought it was a great idea and agreed to partner with the man for a certain cut. His only other condition was when the women came to the US, our actor/comedian got to have sex with them before they were introduced to their future husband. A deal was struck. One of the first women that came over married our actor/comedian. Then, when she got tired of him sleeping with every new woman that came to the country, she divorced him and he married another. That made the first wife really upset who then went and told every actor/producer/director/manager who had married one of these mail order brides that our actor/comedian had slept with all of their wives first. When news of this spread, he had trouble getting work and then someone reported him to the IRS because he had not been paying taxes on what he earned from the mail order bride business and when he died, he owed the IRS millions of dollars.
