Hazel is currently on in our home as I type this. We have 8 children and our youngest is a special needs little boy that we adopted. He was severely abused (shaken baby) at 6 weeks of age and he is now 8 and a real blessing! He is anticipated to remain at a 3-6 month old level for the rest of his life. After years of surgeries, medication and keeping him comfortable, David (to the amazement of his doctors) can smile, laugh and has exceptional hearing. His favorite thing to listen to is classic TV shows....with a special affinity for Hazel. He likes repetition so (for instance) we have had Hazel on in the background for almost 4 days straight! Sometimes he even sleeps to it. He also likes, I Love Lucy and Leave it to Beaver, etc. With very limited abilities and being medically fragile, it is a joy to see him squeal with delight while listening to these programs. I just wanted to say THANK YOU, and let you know that your father continues to provide my son and our family with a great deal of happiness.
PS One of our favorite movies we watch every Christmas is, "It Happened on 5th Ave."
