Season 3 is on the way!

With roughly 7 months between the releases of seasons 1 and 2, Cheers fans were expecting another long wait for season 3. Surprise! Paramount Home Entertainment told us earlier today that we can expect season 3 to be released in May, a mere 4 months after the release of the second season. We're not sure of the exact date, but we're narrowed it down to 4 possibilites: 4, 11, 18 or 25th (yes, we know that's every Tuesday in May).

Also released on the same day will be Frasier: Season 3.

with 11 seasons to go through, I knew they weren't gonna wait every year to release them. That would've been insane!

Me too! I just found out about this a few minutes ago and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!

But it'll be really weird getting the Season 3 DVD, because it's the season that Nicholas passes away. :(

In an older post I said May would be the perfect time to release it.
I still think it'll be either the 11th or the 18th.

Either the DVDs will promote the Frasier Finale.
Or the Frasier Finale will promote the DVDs.
Or if they're smart.... they'll cross promote.

Great news. As I said in an earlier post, I believe they're going to start releasing Cheers and Frasier seasons four months apart.

(just fits in before HD-DVD)
(I think Taxi would be a good show to release along side Cheers and Frasier too)



So in about 3 years we'll have all 11 seasons.
And for some of.... all 22.

Im pretty sure they will.
Maybe with clips from all 3 seasons.
Seeing that they havent had a "clip feature" for Coach yet.
Im sure if they include interviews, they'll have something for Coach.



This set HAS to have a tribute to Coach, bloopers.
And this may be stretching it -- but a few commentaries would be nice.
Maybe on "Rebound - Parts 1&2".... seeing that it changed the show forever.... and it also changed TV forever.

I know the 2nd season of Three's Company had 25 eps as well, and the 2nd season is coming out in May, so lemme check on that...
