I remmeber people saying they couldn't show toilets on leave it to beaver or any other show and that is why the first episode was delayed in airing because it showed a toilet. Whats the big deal?

I don't know the reason, but when Puddin had locked herself in the boys' bathroom, the censors had no problem of here teepeeing the bathroom with toilet paper, sorry bathroom tissue.

i think it was because people did not want to discuss or acknowledge certain bodily functions in "mixed company' i don't think it was any more complicated than that
