People are so rude. I went to Algebra to take my mid term, and the desks were arranged differently. I sat in my seat- I knew it was mine because there's this mark on the chair. Then this girl and her 2 friends come in- the one girl sits in her usual seat, and her friend wanted to sit next to her, and I was in the only seat next to her. So she just stood there, and I offered to move, but I guess she didn't hear me. So she and the girl just keep talking, and all of a sudden I hear "People aren't sitting in the right seats. I'm waiting for this girl"-"this girl" being me- "to get up. But I'm not gonna say anything."
I got really pissed off and just jumped up and stomped into my own little corner. I guess the only good that came out of it was that I could concentrate in that area.

Well LOOOOONG story. It's just I can't believe how some people can be such jerks sometimes (i.e. friends) In my video editing class, this guy is in my group (totally sexist guy) he is So mean to me. Seriously he won't let me have any control over any vids we make in class. And he is the reason I don't like alot of guys in the first place because he is a total control freak. He always has to be the leader of the group we are in together in the class. I tried to talk to him today about it by telling him he is being a total ass to the group and he is controlling everything and all he said was that I wasn't contributing anything to the group and that he wasn't not letting me have any control because I wasn't doing anything to make the videos.

And one of my friends always purposely starts fights with me just for the sake of her winning an argument. So when I blow up at her because she is arguing with me, she goes "Oh my god Chill!". And I can just see that stupid little smile on her face when she says it. ugghhh. Seriously I am gonna need to get out of school as soon as possible and into some serious therapy sessions.

Anyways I am a mess right now, this was the worst week ever. So many arguments. Okay I am done ranting. But you know this is the Cheers board and you gotta bend someones ear at a bar.

I understand I can't wait to get out of the school system either. It's ok to be frustrated, just as long as you let it out. That guy sounds like a real clavin! (trying to incorporate Cheers into the conversation) You did exactly what you should have done, even if it didn't work. Just try and be patient...you'll be done with the class and him soon enough. Watch before you know it, it will be summer.

Odd, this is the "we're miserable and had bad days at school" club :lol: I don't know why, I used to like school, but now I can't stand to go and can't tolerate any of the people I once was really on good terms with.

lol well i had pretty good day (lol don't hate me!) but i'm soooo stressed out b/c i have to take a HUGE math test moday. we're being bussed out of school to take our math regents and they're really hard! i live in new york so we have to take a TON of test to meet state standards. last year (8th grade) i took a math, social studies, ela (english language arts), and science state tests. this year i have to take a geometry/algebra 1 state regents test, and in 11th grade i have to take all the others :( we've been taking them since 4th grade and on top of that my other teachers are giving us midterms and finals! i know how unfair! so i can be in the miserable club too? lol sorry to dump my problems on you guys but it was good to get them out :-D

omg! i'm DONE with my fanfic!!!!! :D:D:D well it's not all typed but i finished it last night!!!!!!! i was right it came out to be 17 chapters, i think (hope) you'll like the ending. anyway the chapters should be coming quicker now b/c i'm not writing anymore, just typing.

TODAY I was eating dinner and my mom was in the kitchen and she has the tv on...I started to hear the "we will rock you" beat.....and expecting a brief moment of bliss when Mercury's voice shines through to reveal the clever lyrics written by May......Britney Spears' no talent, frog voice comes through...I was in shock...my sister who had the control at the moment turned it off when she saw my face....all i could think was "Freddie Mercury just turned in his grave".

She did it to the Stones....Joan Jett...and now Queen??? SHE MUST DIE!!!

I mean she should stick to her own corporate written lyrics.....and just leave Rock the hell alone!

OK I might seem a little on the radical side...but I LOVE Queen...and well i can't help but having the feelings of loathing/hatred and the urge to scream to her at the top of my lungs "HOW DARE YOU??!?!?!" ...well that was it for me rant....I'm sorry if you have to close this thread or something...I just had to get it out of my system!

Yup. My parents (mostly my dad) have been to a lot of classic rock band concerts.... Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones. There's a whole list. The only concert I've been to was Britney Spears. :rolleyes:

Im talking when they're teenagers -- as long as its not a porno -- I wouldnt NOT let my kids watch something.
At that age, they're old enough to make their own decisions as to what is good and what is bad for them.


But for younger kids, its completely different.

It's not my parents who are deciding what I watch...it's me. I don't have an interest in South Park...no biggie. :D

Well, we agree. I think there comes a point in your child's life that you have to let them grow up and make their own decisions. You can't protect them forever.

My parents are awesome when it comes to things like that. They never restricted anything on TV for me. I could always watch pretty much whatever I wanted, and I still can. I remember watching Beavis and Butthead, and Celebrity Deathmatch with my dad when I was 6. :lol:

Yup! Have it on Dvd too. The plot and acting is fantastic...only it has, I think, too many Sex scenes. lol It's half the movie. Ted is such a perv. and weird dork in the movie...lol! and WIlliam Hurt looks soooooo good in it.

On "Give Me A Ring Sometime" when they talk about the sweatiest movie ever.... someone says "Body Heat" and the camera cuts to Sam laughing.

Yup, but He's such a cliff in that movie! He did a really good job getting into character because he doesn't look the least bit attractive...gross even!

The cool part about that movie is that I live in South Florida, and the feeling Lawrence Kasdan gives you of just suffocating heat and humidity is how you feel here every day with the temperature.

No Grace, But I can't wait to see it! I loved Sophia Coppola's "Virgin Suicides" which she (as well as "lost in translation" wrote and directed), I ordered it off of netflix today so it should be here (cause my list is so big) in a couple of weeks.

Man this is weird... I keep having trouble breathing and I have a throbbing headache. Plus I haven't studied for my algebra quiz tomorrow, which is bad because I suck at algebra, and we got report cards today and my grades arent as great as i hoped they would be. Yick. Hopefully a good night's sleep after I study will help.
