View Full Version : Favorite Stevie Wonder album Dean Winchester 01-06-2004, 02:51 AM which is your favorite Stevie album? isiahthomas 01-07-2004, 01:04 PM Good post. I wish i could vote for more than one album. My favorite is probably Hotter Than July but i really like his Songs In The Key Of Life, In Square Circle, The Woman In Red soundtrack, Jungle Fever soundtrack albums also. This man has really amazed me all these yrs cause i'm impressed by how a blind man can make all this wonderful music that he has done over the yrs. There are people out here that are artists that have good sight & they make terrible music so what's their excuse? LOL. isiahthomas 01-07-2004, 01:05 PM His Characters & Talking Book albums are very good also. I like his song Send One Your Love a lot. I don't know what album that song is on. Tuesday Weld 01-07-2004, 01:29 PM Musiquarium (I think that's the title),is the one I like. :D dlemond 01-07-2004, 01:33 PM Originally posted by ElvisDustyfan Musiquarium (I think that's the title),is the one I like. :D I have that- it a greatest hits compilation. My favorite has to be Innervisions. isiahthomas 01-07-2004, 02:01 PM Send One Your Love song is on Musiquarium. Thanks. Janice 01-07-2004, 03:08 PM I'm not familiar with all of his work, but I had Songs In The Key Of Life, and I loved it, so I voted for it. isiahthomas 01-07-2004, 04:51 PM Busta Rhymes did a song with Erykah Badu called One on his When Disaster Strikes cd where he samples Stevie's Love's In Need Of Love Today song from his Songs In The Key Of Life album. I like how Busta sampled Stevie's song. A Tribe Called Quest also sampled the beginning of Stevie's Sir Duke song where the horns are playing on their song Footprints on their first cd. Sir Duke is from Stevie's Songs In The Key Of Life album also. Steve M. 01-07-2004, 05:12 PM Innervisions - It has my favorite Stevie Wonder song, "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing!" :) :D vashti1999 01-07-2004, 06:01 PM Originally posted by Steve M. Could you imagine Usher, Tyrese or anyone around that age today making an album that good? Writing, producing, playing most of the instruments himself. vashti1999 01-07-2004, 06:04 PM Originally posted by isiahthomas I like his song Send One Your Love a lot. I agree, right now, there are NO r&b artists, especially not in their early/mid 20's, who have the talent that Stevie, Michael and Prince all had at that age. isiahthomas 01-07-2004, 06:45 PM What yr did Secret Life Of Plants album come out? Steve M. 01-07-2004, 11:55 PM 1979. By the way, I'm hearing "Living For the City" (from Innervisions) on Bob Harris's BBC Radio 2 show (the single edit) right now! :) dandelion wine 01-08-2004, 12:04 AM "Songs In The Key Of My Life" musicradio77 01-11-2004, 01:59 PM What about the Stevie Wonder albums from the 60's that the one couldn't make it to the poll: 1.
