MARRIAGE and Having Kids? I'm tuned off if a female brings that up on a first date. Maybe even the second date. I like to connect with a female before discussing MARRIAGE/KIDS

Well seeing how the majority of SO posters are teens, i'd say we'd be a little creeped out.

Well I sometimes bring that up on first dates. I like to know if the guy wants the same things out of life that I want. I don't want to waste my time with someone who just wants to live together or doesn't like kids.

It was obvious that the post was directed at someone who is NOT A TEEN. 20 and over

I'm so glad I don't have to do the whole dating scene since I've been married longer than some of the kids on here are old.

I wouldn't think talking about marriage and kids on the first date would be too cool. We certainly didn't do it way back when. LOL That topic can wait until later; at least a month isn't too much time to invest in dating if he/she turns out to not be suited to you.

If someone were to mention kids to me on a first date, I'd be like, "subtle way to get me in bed..."

I'm 14, so OBVIOUSLY that topic wouldn't come up. I don't want kids...at all.

Wouldn't bother me. I'd like to know what someone's long term intentions in general might be. A lot of guys just want 1 thing and bolt. I may not be talking marriage that night but I'd like to know in the future if there are plans for something like family/kids. No sense in wasting my time.

Its one thing to be curious what theyre interests are, but if they have everything all planned out and stuff.. then I dont want to hear it.

That would be a major turn off for me if a man brought up Marriage and Children on the first date......
