Does anyone know all the lyrics to the theme song? I can't understand certain parts of it.

I'm pretty sure its genes, referring to the fact that willis and arnold had nothing but each other before going to Drummond's.

Well, they were wearing jeans in the first opening credits, and it would make more sense since it's 70's, and many didn't know about genes.
