NBC probably didn't want to sacrifice an episode going up against the one hour edition of 8 Simple Rules. There may be weeks she doesn't air or that there are reruns(happens with most sitcoms) I also think it was because of 8SR... I thought it was funny, but the "black wannabe girl" wasnt working for me. I didnt think she was funny at all. Miss Golden 01-27-2004, 06:22 PM I am positive about Whoopi and Happy Family returning for the Fall 2004 because NBC will need some returning comedies because only Will and Grace and Scrubs are the only possible returning comedies from this past year because it looks as if Good Morning Miami and Tracy Morgan are gone as well as the ending of Frasier and Friends. db108108 03-27-2004, 11:03 PM GMM are TM are gone, NBC confirmed on Friday. Actually, NBC confirmed most of its fall line-up on Friday. Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Thursdays are bascially the same. Crossing Jordan, Third & Third Watch Will be back in their current slots. The only question marks are Thursday at 8:30pm, Tuesday 8-9:30pm and Wednesday at 8pm. Out of all of NBC's remaining comedies, "Whoppi" has the strongest ratings and is most likely to come back. |
