Diana Ross as well, I attended her Central Park concert she had here in NY that summer. 1983 was the year I became a Prince fan after years of not paying attention to him. True but technically speaking, Thriller was the title track from an album released in 1982, so it's possible BrooklynGuy78 listened to that song throughout 1983.
