This fic takes place January 5, 2008. Jinny is now married to Teddy and they have 2 kids, Kelly and Kiera, and one on the way. CD and Nate have been married for 4 years now and are trying to have children, Raina is still dating Johnny, Kate has a 5 year old grandaughter, Katie, and she is now Chief of police, and Magda is still married to Gabe and they have three children, Ben, Jinny, and Bobby. Jinny is taking her 2 year old twins, Kelly and Kiera for a walk in their stroller. She stops at a coffee shop. She looks up and sees the last person she expected to there.

Jinny couldn't tell whether to be happy or sad. "Jack? Is that you?"
"Jinny? Oh my God. How long has it been?" Jack said with a big smile on his face.
"Oh about 6 years. When did you come back to San Francisco?" Jinny asked.
Jack thought of what to tell her. "I came back about 6 months after I left here the first time. My ex wife and I figured out our problems and are now back together."
Jinny grinned because now she wouldn't feel bad about telling him she got married again as well. "That's great Jack. I got remarried myself."
"Congratulations Jin. And who are these pretty young ladies?" Jack knelt down to see the two cute toddlers.
"This one is Kiera and that one is Kelly. They are my twin toddlers."
"They are beautiful Jinny. And look at you. You're having another?" Jack questioned.
Jinny laughed. "Yes, this is my third. We think it is a boy but we're not sure."
"How far along are you?" Jack asked.
Jinny couldn't really remember. It seemed like years to her. "Oh about...eight months."
Jack was shocked. "Wow. And your new husband is letting you take long walks??"
"Well, he didn't want me to but I did anyway. I am not even on maternity leave yet." She laughed.
Jack smiled. "It was great seeing you again Jinny. I am in the phone book. Give me a call sometime. Take care." He put out his hand for her to shake.
She shook his hand. "I will. It was nice talking to you. Bye." Jack left and Jinny felt weird. "He used to be married to me and all he will do now is shake my hand??"
"Mommy! I want to cheesebugar." Kiera screamed.
Jinny laughed. "It's cheeseburger and yes, we can go get one." So they went to the most famous cheeseburger place, McDonalds.

Meanwhile, back at the Division, Raina and Nate were now partners since CD and him were married. Raina had just recieved information on a new case. Raina got Nate's attention while he was apparently daydreaming.
"Nate, we got a new case. There was a little girl who was hit by a motrocycle and the driver drove away. Nate? Are you listening to me?" Raina said, poking Nate in the head.
Nate suddenly looked up. "Oh what? Why are you poking me?"
"You haven't heard anything I just said have you?"
Nate acted smart. "Of course I have. I heard everything."
Raina stood there and crossed her arms. "Oh yeah? Prove it."
"Well, uh, you said that, uh, you were oing, to uh..." He said stubbornly.
Raina smiled and shook her head. "Yep. That's what I thought. Come on, I'll explain to you on our way to the crime scene."
"Alright but remember I have to leave work at 3:00."
"Oh, are you guys going to try again?" Raina asked being nosey.
Nate just looked at Raina. "That ould be absolutely none of your business Raina." Nate laughed. "Let's go."

Magda was at her desk when she got a phone call.
"Ramirez?" Magda asked in the phone.
Jinny answered her. "Hey Mag, it's Jin. We're are down at the McDonalds down near the station having some lunch. Want to join us?"
Magda smiled. "Sure. I'll be there in 10."
"Great. Bye." Jinny hung up.

Magda grabbed her coat and went into the elevator to go down to the parking lot. When she got to McDonalds, the twins went crazy.
Kiera screamed out. "Auntie Magda. You're here!!!"
Magda smiled and went up to them. " Hi everyone. Are you two giving your Mommy a hard time?"
Kelly answered very intellegently. "Well, Kiera might but I am being a precious little angel."
"Oh yeah right. You could even say cheeseburger."
Kelly looked over at Kiera. "I can say cheeseburgar. But obviously you can't because you said it wrong again!"
Jinny laughed and then became serious. "Alright girls. That will be enough. Why don't you two go and play on that big junglgym. I can see you from here."
"YAY! Come on Kelly." Pokes her on the back. "You're it!"
"No way. You're it." They ran off to play.
Magda smiled and then looked at Jinny. "So how are you feeling?"
"Besides fat, fine."
"C'mon Jin. You always get like this late in your pregnancies." Magda laughed.
"I do not. You do as well." Jinny said.
"Oh so you are admitting it??" Magda laughed even harder.
Jinny tried had not to laugh. "Oh Magda shut up." They both started laughing. "Oh I almost forgot the rason I invited you up here." Jinny said now getting serious. "You will never guess who I ran into at the coffee shop."
Magda thought. "Santa Claus?" Magda chuckled.
"No. Close though." Jinny just couldn't resist. "Jack."
"Jack as in the Jack who left you Jack?" Magda was babbling.
Jinny gave her a look. "Yeah that Jack."
Magda was surprised. "Well, what did he say?"
"He said he was back together with his exwife." Jinny said.
Magda look pissed. "He actually told you that?"
"Yeah, why not?" Jinny asked her. "I don't care. I am married to a wonderful man and have three wonderful children. He is happy and I am happy. That is all that matters."

Magda looked at Jinny and then nodded. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Then Magda hugged Jinny. "As long as you're happy.
"I am Mag. I really am." Jinny said with a great big smile.
Just then Kelly came running in from the junglegym crying. "Kiera pulled my hair mommy."
Kelly points to Kiera. "You did so. Mommy she is lying to you. I think you should punish her."
Kiera rolls her little eyes. "Please, you're such a baby"
Jinny looked at Magda, who was laughing. "Magda, you are not helping the situation. Kelly and Kiera, please stop fighting. Mommy has a little headache.
"Ok Mommy. I'm sorry Kiera." Kelly said with an angelic smile.
"I'm sorry too, sissy." She hugs her sister and they go play.
Jinny looked at Magda. "Well, you were a big help."
"I know. See, I am Auntie Magda. I am the person they run to when you wont get them something they want." They both laughed.
Jinny looked at her watch. "Well, we had better get back to work." Jinny went to the play area. "Kids, let's go."
Kiera nods and follows them. "Auntie Magda, can I have a dollar?"
Magda giggled. "Why?"
Kiera "Cos I do not got one. She smiled.
Magda reached into her pocket and was about to grab her money but then looked at Jinny who was glaring at her. But Magda then remembered something and got the dollar out and gave one dollar to each of the girls. "Here you guys go. Don't spend it all at once." She then looked at Jinny. "That's payback for the 'Little Red Riding Hood' story." They both started laughing as they walked out of the restraunt."
Kiera and Kelly giggled, remembering about what Jinny said about Ben and that night, with the story.

Meanwhile, Nate and Raina didn't get any information about the case, so they went back to the Division. At 3:00, it was time for Nate to go home.
"Well Raina, I gotta go now." Nate said while getting on his coat.
Raina smiled at him. "Enjoy yourself."
"Raina, shut up!" Nate laughed.

When he got home, CD was waitning for him. "Where have you been? I've been waiting forever!!"
Nate chuckled. "Traffic was terrible. So, what is it?"
"98.7. Just right. You ready?" CD said while slipping off her shirt.
Nate walked towards her. "You bet." They both got on the bed and started making out.

When Jinny got home, Teddy was there waiting for her. "Hey Jin."
"Hey. What are you doing home?" Jinny asked.
"I got off of work early to spend the day with you on your day off." He walked to her. "Is that alright?"
Jinny smiled. "Oh you bet!" She started kissing him.
Kiera and Kelly just stared at them. "EWWWWWW!"
Teddy laughed. "Why don't you girls go play in your room until dinner is ready. We're having hot dogs!"
Kelly jumped up and down. "Yay! Let'a go Kiera." They ran into their room.
Jinny sat down as best she could as let out a really big sigh.
Teddy looked at her. "What's wrong?"
"What? Oh, nothing I just had a bit of pain before and now I am just a little tired." Jinny said while closing her eyes but was rudely shooken awake by her husband.
"What do you mean pain?? Bad pain? Labor pain? Pl---" Teddy was saying until Jinny interupted him.
"Calm down Teddy. My lunch just didn't sgree with me very well. That's all." Jinny told him and just had to laugh about the way he was acting.
Teddy calmed down a little bit. "Well, I know how stubborn you can be sometimes. Last time you were in labor, you didn't tell me until ou were 9 cm dilated!"

Jinny laughed. "Well, how was I supposed to know if I was really in labor or not? It was my first time."
Teddy started at her and giggled. "Uh huh. Okay. I am going to go make dinner now."
"Oh, can you put some ice cream on my hot dog. And some spray cheese." Jinny said with a big smile.
Teddy made a face. "That's disgusting! How can you eat that??"
"Don't ask me. Ask him." Jinny said pointing to her rather large belly.

After dinner, Jinny was feeling a little tired so she went to bed early. It was about 1:30AM when she woke up and had to go to the bathroom. When she came out, she woke up Teddy.

"Teddy, wake up." Jinny said trying to shake him awake.
Teddy opened his eyes to find Jinny standing there crying. "What's wrong?? Is it coming?"
"I don't know. I'm bleeding." Jinny said holding her stomach.

Meanwhile, at CD and Nates, they had just gotten finished have the most powerful sex ever.

CD was panting. "Oh my God Nate. That was wonderful. It has got to work this time. I have to be pregnant."
"Honey, you know I was thinking maybe we sould consider adoption. It will be a lot easier nd you won't have to go through all of that pain every other mother has to go through. You get it easy."
"I agree but Nate, do you realize how long it would be to get a baby through adoption? It could take years." CD said to Nate seriously.
Nate answered her back. "Well, how about we get in line and we can keep trying while we are on the waiting list?"
CD didn't really like that idea. "How about we just go to a fertility clinic? It will be easier and faster. We can find out what the problem is."
"I told you before. I don't want to pee in a cup and make love to my wife after watching dirty movies and then having some doctor tell me why I can't get my ife pregnant. It is humiliating."
CD frowned. "It is more humiliating passing a park or playground and looking at something you don't have. I want someone o love of my very own. I went and got my tubes untied so I can become a mother and no I can't seem to do it and I want to know why damnit!" CD said looking at the amazement in Nate's eyes. "Oh, Nate, I'm sorry I didn't mean to blow up at you like that. I just really wa---"
Nate interrupted. "It's ok. If it is really what you want then I will go." Nate smiled. "We'll go together and figure out what the problem is."
"Oh Nate!" She pushed him down and kissed him. "Did I tell you how much I loved you today??"

Teddy was ready to panic. "Ok Ok, let's just call the doctor. Yeah, call the doctor. Or maybe we should go right to the hospital. Yeah that might be better. Oh, but I really don't want to wa--"
Jinny interrupted. "Calm down. Everything is fine. Just call Dr. Thompson. She will tell you what to do."
"Yeah. That's a good idea. Why didn't I think of that. Alright, the phone." He dialed the number. "Hello?? Hello??? DR. THOMPSON? Where the hell is she?"
Jinny laughed. "Uh, honey. That's he TV remote control."
Teddy looked at it. "Yeah, I knew that. I was just practicing what I was going to say to her."
"You were oing to say 'Where the hell are you?' to our doctor?" Jinny said trying so hard to stop laughing.
"How can you be so calm??" Teddy asked her.
"It's ok now. The bleeding stopped." Jinny told him.
Teddy shook his head. "No, I am still calling the doctor." He picked up the phone this time and dialed then number. "Hello, Dr. Thompson? This is Mr.Blumenthal. My wife Jinny Exstead Blumenthal is one of your patients. You know her. She is the pregnant one."
Jinny shook her head and laughed.
"Well, she was in the bathroom and started bleeding. Yes it is stopped. *paused* Ok I will tell her. Thank you." Hangs up the phone and talks to Jinny. "Alright she said as long as the bleeding stopped, everything is fine but it is also a sign that you are working to hard for you being in your eighth month. She wants you to take an early maternity leave. You don't have to stay totally off of your feet but just take it easy and no more work for a while."
"What am I going to do with myself all day long? Work is what keeps me busy. I have to work." Jinny whined.
Teddy started getting mean. "Jinny Louise Exstead Blumenthal, you have been ordered by the doctor not to work and not working is exactly what you are going to do. Understand?"
Jinny thought he was joking and said. "Teddy--"
"Do you understand?" Teddy scolded.
Jinny mocked him. "Yes Daddy."

The next morning, Jinny went down to the station to tell their new captain, Captain Smith, that she has to take an early maternity leave and when she went into the office, she saw the last person she ever expected to be in there.

Jinny smiled. "Captain, uh I mean Chief, what are you doing here?? You are supposed to be in your brand new big office bossing other people around."
"Well, I know but I really missed things around here so I asked for my old job back and the gladly gave it to me. How are you doing?" Kate asked while looking at her large belly.
Jinny laughed. "I'm alright. He gave me a little shocker last night though. As a matter of fact, I came in to ask for an early maternity leave."
Kate gave her a look. "Jinny Exstead taking an early maternity leave. You didn't even tell anyone you were in labor until you were 9 cm dilated!"
"No one will leave me alone about that will they?" Jinny chuckled.
Kate laughed too. "Of course not."
"Well, I just need to take it easy because of last night. I started to bleed and the doctor told me to take an early maternity leave from work. She doesn't want me doing anything that will hurt the baby too much." Jinny said.
"Well, I don't blame her. You always were the stubborn one and do everything that everyone told you not to." Kate giggled.
Jinny looked at her. "I got to get back or Tedy will start putting a bell on me. It is great to have you back Captain." Jinny smiled.
"It's good to be back. I will give you a call later to see how you are doing." Kate added.
Jinny tried to explain to her. "There is no need to worry about me. I'm fine."
Kate gave her a stern look. "I'm calling you later anyway." Kate said and then stuck her tounge out.
"If you insist." Jinny laughed.

CD and Nate had called off that day and made an appointment at "How To Do It Fertility Clinic". They weren't to crazy about the name but it was the only clinic that would see them that day. When they got there, Nate was trembling. He was so nervous.
CD was laughing at him. When they were in the waiting room, she tried to loosen him up a bit.
"Come on Nate. Calm down. It won't be that bad." CD said holding his hand.
Nate looked at her. "It will. What they do to the men is far worse than what they do to the women.
"Uh huh. Tell me that when I am giving birth alright." CD laughed.
Nate giggled. "You know what I meant. I really just---"
"Mr. and Mr. Basso? The doctor will see you now." The receptionist said.
CD looked at Nate and leaned over to his ear. "If you don't want to do this, we can go home."
"No. I want to do this. I love you." Nate said and then kissed her.
"Ahem." The receptionist said.
Nate and CD looked at her and they realized that they were still in the waiting room. Everyone was staring at them. They laughed. "Sorry." Was all CD could get out. They laughed again and went into the examining room.

After Jinny was done talking to Kate, she went back home. When she got home, she realized she was out of everything. There wasn't anything in the house. She decided to go to Sam's Club where they have big stocks of everything. So she got the girls dressed and she called her Dad to ask him to babysit the girls for the afternoon. She then called Teddy to tell him where she was going.
"Why don't I get off of work early and go with you. I need to grab some things fro there anyway." Teddy asked her.
Jinny laughed. "Honey, it's ok. I will be quite fine going to the store by myself. I won't over do it I promise."
"Alright. Are you absolutely sure?" Teddy asked woriedly.
"Yes, now I am going to hang up the phone now. I will call you when I get back." Jinny told him.
Teddy was still not sire if she should be doing this. "Ok. I love you."
"I love you too. Bye." She hung up.

She dropped the kids off at her dad's house and drove to Sam's Club, she got everything she wanted but they didn't have what she mainly wanted.
Jinny was getting upset. "They don't have any spray cheese!!" She then thought that maybe they had some stocked in the back. So she left her cart somewhere no one could find it and got out her badge in case she was stopped by anyone and she ent downstairs to the cellar and what she saw was heaven. There were lots and lots of cans of spray cheese. What she didn't know was that someone follwed her down into the basement. Then when she went to go open the door, the door handle came off. She began to panic. "Help, someone hel--" She looked down. Her water broke. "Oh my God!"

In the examining room, CD coninued to try and calm Nate down. Then when the doctor came in, he trembled even more.
"Hello. I am Dr. McHale. What brings you two here today?" She said looking at Nate shake. "Are you alright sir?"
CD looked at him and then up at the doctor. "Oh, he's fine. He is just nervous. That's all."
"Nothing to be nervous about. I will make this as quick and painless as I possibly can. I promise."
Nate acted like a big baby and stared up at the doctor with big puppy dog eyes. "You promise?"
She laughed. "Yes I do. Now what can I do for you?"
"Well, we have been trying to get pregnant for months now and I just can't seem to do it." CD said still laughing at Nate.
Dr. McHale wrote everything down. "Ok, why don't I run a few tests on you first. We may not even need to run tests on Nate. The sooner we find the problem, the sooner this will be over."
"Great. Let's get started." CD said as she saw Nate happy again now that he heard no tests may need to be done on him.

When Jinny realized that her water had broke, she quickly sat down and set her watch to start timing the contractions. She continued to yell for help but no one heard her. Then someone came out from a room in the back.

He looked at her. "Jinny? What are you doing here?"
"Jack? What are you doing here?" Jinny asked him.
"I work here part time. What are you doing down here? Only employees are allowed to be down here." He asked her.
"I uh...ow." Jinny said but then started her breathing.
"What's wrong? You're not in labor are you?" Jack said worriedly.
Jinny rolled her eyes and then looked at him. "Well, you figured that one out mighty quick Sherlock." She said and then continued her breathing.
"I'm sorry. I just meant---" Jack said while feeling kind of stupid.
Jinny then felt bad about snapping at him. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that. I'm just in a lot of pain and I want to go to a hospital."
"Do you have your cell phone with you?" Jack asked her.
Jinny got mad. "No. Damnit. I didn't think I would need it so I left it at home."
"Okay. Let's just calm down. Now I have locked myself down here one time before and no one is able to hear up there so we might be down here for a while." Jack explained to her.
Jinny looked up at him. "And that is supposed to make me..ow. My God this hurts really bad! OW!" Jinny started breathing again.
Jack started thinking really hard about what to do. "Ok. I was there when my son was born. I am going to try and deliver your baby. Do you mind?" Jack asked her.
"Do I have a choice?" Jinny said still doing her breathing.
Jack then was scared to ask her this question but he had to. "Uh, I need to see how dilated you are ok?"
"You don't know how to do that! I am also a married woman." Jinny told him.
"I understand that but how else am I supposed to do this? I, too, am married so I am not doing this for a thrill. No go ahead and lie down and I will put some water on the boil in the sink in the back room." Jack said.
Jinny just looked at him and obeyed his orders.

After they ran all of the tests on CD, the doctor came back into the examining room and explained to them the results.

Dr. Mchale sat down. "Alright. We got the results back. When was the last time you tried for a baby?"
"Last night actually. Why?" CD asked her.
Dr. McHale got a smile on her face. "We ran all of the tests and it is certain. Mrs. Basso, you're pregnant!"
CD smiled. "Really?? Oh my God! That's fantastic!"
Nate smiled more. "And no tests had to be done on me!"
CD just looked at him and rolled her eyes. Then she kissed him.

After Jack got the water, he came back and laid down ome blankets and helped Jinny onto the floor she spred her legs apat and he checked how dilated she was.
"Ok Jinny. You are about 7 cm dilated. Do you think you can handle few more hours of this?" Jack asked her.
Jinny looked up at him. "Sure, why not." She rolled her eyes.

When CD and Nate got home, she was so happy. She hasn't been this happy since the day she said, 'I do.' As soon as they got into the door, Nate pulled CD into the bedroom and shut the door behind him. "So what do you think CD, do you think we are ready to become parents?"
CD smiled. "Absolutely. Look how well I did with you?"
"Very true. Come here." Nate pulled CD towards him and kissed her. "I love you Candace Basso."
"I love you too Nate Basso." He smiled and kissed her again.

About an hour and a half later, Jack checked Jinny again to see how far she was.
Jack smiled at her. "Ok Jinny, you are about 9cm now. Not much farther to go."
"Thank God. Could you..." Paused. "Could you please see if anyone can hear you now? I really want Teddy to be here."
Jack looked at her. He felt kind of hurt that she didn't only want Jack there. He was still in love with her bu inside, he knew that she had a new life now. So he went to the door and banged on it very hard. Finally someone heard it. "Oh thank God. Listen I got a pregnant, 32 year old female down there. I need a phone to call the hospital. Is there a doctor anywhere near here?" Jack asked the mamnager of Sam's Club.
"I don't know Jack. I will try and find out." The manager left to try and find a doctor.
Jack went back to Jinny. "The door is open and they know we are down here. The manager is going to see if anyone here happens to be an obstetritian."
"Good. This is really begining to hurt like a son of a bitch!" She continues her breathing.
The manager of Sam's Club came back to Jack."Alright. There are no doctors here but here is a cell phone. Do you happnen to know how dilated she is?"
"She is about 9cm. I don't think we will be able to move her if we called n ambulance." Jack told him.
Jinny spoke after her last contraction was over. "Can I please use that phone to call my huband and my partner?"
"Sure. Here you go." He handed the phone to Jinny.
"Thanks." Jinny dialed the number for Teddy. "Teddy? I don't have much time to explain. Meet me down at Sam's Club on 63rd Street. Ow...sorry, I got to go. Bye." She hung up. "Jack, please call Magda for me. Her number is...is in my purse." She started breathing again.

About 15 minutes after he called Magda, Teddy and Magda came rushing through the crowd surrounding the room Jinny was in. One of the employees guarding the door wouldn't let them through. "You can't go through there right now."
"I am her husband and this is her coach now let us through." Teddy pushed him out of the way. When he got to Jinny, she was so happy to see him.
"Oh Teddy, where have you been?" Jinny asked him.
Teddy kissed her forhead. "I just got here."

After everyone left them alone, Jack was getting ready to deliver Jinny's baby. Magda and Teddy stayed at her side. When Jack was finally ready, Jinny was now starting to get nervous. She kept thinking to herself 'How can a man who is a cop and an employee at Sam's Club deliver a baby?'
Jack went back to Jinny. "Okay. You ready? The next contraction, push with all of your might."
Jinny shook her head yes. Then when the next contraction came, she pushed. "Oh GOD! GET IT OUT!!!"
"Jinny, you got to concentrate on pushing and not screaming." Magda said to her.
Jinny looked at her. "You thought that was screaming? I'll give you screaming. Shut the hell up you mother f***** or I'll kick the s*** out of you. Got it Miss Smarta**??" Jinny screamed at her.
"Yes." Magda said getting pretty upset that she even said that kind of stuff to her.
"Alright Jin. Just breathe. Something is not right here." Jack said to her.
"What?? What do you mean not right?" Jinny asked him.
Teddy went over to take a look. "Oh my God. What is that??"
Jack looked and really couldn't figure out what it was. "It's uh..." He passed out.
"What is going on??" Jinny asked frantically.
Magda went over to take a look. "Oh alright. I see what the problem is. Ok, now the baby is breech so it is going to be more difficult to deliver the baby now so you have to push really hard."
"What do you think I am doing??" Jinny shouted.

Nate wanted to make that night special so he cooked dinner for CD. "Dinner is ready." Nate told CD.
"What are we having?" CD asked him.
Nate frowned. "Well, we were going to have Veal Parmasean but I accidentally burned it. Then we were going to have Speghetti with meatballs but I wrecked it. Now we are having Macaroni and cheese."
CD had to laugh.

"It's ok honey. I am right here. I am not leaving your side." Tedy told her.
Jinny got really pissed off. "That is how I got into this mess." Jinny said as another strong contraction came on. "Oh, here come's another one." Jinny said and started to push.
"Jin, you are going to have to push a little harder than that." Magda said.
"I can't. I will just carry him with me for the rest of my life." Jinny said.
Magda laughed. "Sorry sweetie but you can't do that. Come on Jin. The head is almost out. You can do it."
"Alright." Jinny pushed really hard. "OOOWWWW!!!!" She screamed. "Son of a b****. GET IT OUT!!!"

CD smiled. "Aww. This was so sweet. You did this all by yourself?"
"Well, the mess I made all by myself but the mac and cheese, I had help from KRAFT." Nate laughed.
CD grined. "So when are we going to tell everyone?" CD asked him.
"When do you want to tell everybody?" Nate replied.
CD thought. "As soon as possible."

"Ok. The head is out. One more push should do it." Magda said.
Jinny was out of breath. "I'm too tired."
Teddy looked at her. "Come on Jinny. You can't quit now."
"Shut up you a**hole. I'll quit when I want. I HATE YOU!!! I wouldn't be in this mess if it wasn't for you."
"I know you do not mean that Jinny." Teddy exclaimed.
Jinny looked at him. "Now is NOT the best time to contradict me!"
"Come on Jin. One more. You can do it." Magda said.
Jinny pushed one more time with all of her might and her baby was born.
"It's a boy!" Magda told her. "He looks healthy to me." Magda wrapped him up in a blanket that Sam's Club had given her and gave Jinny her son.

When the paramedics came, they took Jinny and her baby boy to the hospital. They both were perfectly healthy. Jinny spent the rest of the night holding her son in her arms. She was wishing her daughters could be there with them but it was kind of late. John Sr. said he would bring them by tomorrow. So Jinny and Teddy spent all night long staring at their beautiful new son.
Jinny smiled. "So what should we name him?"
"Whatever you would like to name him." Teddy grinned. "I am just happy that I got their in time to see him be born."
"Me too." Jinny then remembered something. "Where's Jack?"
"Jack? Who's that?" Teddy asked him.
"Uh, the guy who helped deliver the baby." Jinny answered.
Teddy then remembered. "Oh yeah. Well, he was still passed out when the paramedics showed up so they took him in another ambulance here. So I assume he is in another room or he woke up and went home." Teddy said.
Jinny got a little upset. "I never thanked him."
"Well, we know that he works in Sam's Club so we will see him again soon. We always go there." Teddy assured her.

That night, CD and Nate we celebrating their announcement. They spent that whole night in their bed just thinking about how different their lives were going to be.
"Do you realize this may be the last few months we have left in a quiet house?" CD asked him.
Nate smiled. "Yes but I would like coming home to a house with screaming children."
"You sure? I mean, you have never been around kids. The screaming may get on your nerves." CD asked him seriously.
"No it wouldn't." He grined. "
Because those screaming children will be a part of you. I love you and every part of you I will love!"
CD smiled and tears start to come down her face. "Oh Nate." She said and then kissed him.

The next morning, Magda first went into the station to tell everyone the fabulous news about Jinny. She went to the Captains office. "Hey Cap, can I use the loud speaker?" Magda asked the Captain.
"Why? You know that it is only for emergencies." Kate assured her.
"I have a very important announcement to make. It isn;t something silly I promise." She begged.
Kate gave her a weird look. "Alright. Only for a minute though."
Magda went to the loudspeaker. "Attention everyone! Inspector Jinny Exstead Blumenthal gave birth to he son, Theodore Anthony Blumenthal yesterday. He weighed 7 lbs 9 oz. Thank you."
Kate smiled. "Oh my God. Why didn't you tell me??"
"I just did." Magda said laughing. "Want to come with me? I am going to see her now."
Kate smiled. "Absolutely!"
Just then, Raina came bursting into the office. "Oh my GOD! Jinny had her baby. When can we see it?? When will she---"
Kate interrupted her. "Calm down Raina. We are going down to the hospital now but I think you are too wound up to go." Kate winked at Magda.
"NO! I am not to wound. Oh please let me go. Pretty pretty please???" Raina pleaded.
Kate smiled and nodded.
Raina went and hugged Kate. "Thank you so very much!"

At the hospital, Magda, Kate, and Raina just showed up and went into Jinny's room. In there was Jinny, Teddy, John Sr., Kelly, Kiera, and Teddy Jr.
"Hey Jinny!" Magda said.
"Mag, hi. Come on in and meet our new son!" Jinny said proudly.
They walked over to the new baby. "Oh Jin. He's beautiful." Magda said.
Jinny smiled. "I don't know how I can thank you enough."
"For what?" Magda asked.
"For delivering my baby silly. You saved our lives." Jinny said.
Magda went over to her and hugged her. "You're welcome. I would do it again in a heartbeat."
Jinny smiled. "Want to hold him?"
"You bet I do!" She picked up the baby boy. "Oh my gosh. This brings back so many memories." She smiled. "He looks a lot like Ben did when he was a baby."
"Who wants to hold him next?" Jinny asked.
Kiera raised her hand. "ME ME ME!!!"
"He is a little too young for you to hold yet. Soon though ok?" Jinny told her daughter.
"Ok Mommy." She looked around. "Let her hold her." She said pulling Raina over. Just then there was a knock at the door.
"May I come in?" The person at the door said.

John Sr. looked at who was at the door. Everyone just stared. They were all shocked. "Yes, come in." Jonh Sr. said.
"I think that is for me to say Dad." Jinny said.
"Well may I come in?"
Jinny looked up. "What do you want Ronnie? I have nothing to say to you."
Ronnie came closer. "I am here because you just gave birth to my nephew."
Jinny got furious. "Ohh?? Then explain to me why you didn't come to the hospital when Kiera and Kelly were born?"
"Because I didn't feel that I was wanted." Ronnie said.
Jinny was getting more pissed off. "What makes you think you are wanted now?"
"Look, Dad, I came, I said congrats, I did everything you told me to. I am outta here." Ronnie said and left.
"What? You asked her to come here." Jinny asked her father.
John Sr. shook his head. "No. Just--Ronnie wait." He said leaving the room looking for Ronnie.
Jinny sighed and looked down at her baby. Teddy looked at her. "Don't get yourself worked up over this. We need to celebrate."
"You're right. How about you Cap? Want to hold him?" Jinny said.
Kate looked at her. "Sure." Kate walked over and took the baby in her arms. "Oh he is so cute. Hiya. I'm Kate. Goochie goochie goo. Who's a cute baby. Oh he is. Yes he is. Yes he is." Kate spoke in baby talk.
"Oh I wish I had a video camera for this!" Magd added.
Kate says something to Magda still looking and smiling a the baby. "And I mean it Ramirez, if you tell anyone about what just happend, you are going to die. " She laughed.
Magda chuckled. "Yes Ma'am." She said and saluted.

That morning after Kate, Magda, and Raina got back to the Division, CD and Nate came in late to work. Kate wasn't too thrilled.
"You're late. What happend? We have a lot of work to do." Kate told them.
CD and Nate looked at eachother. "Sorry but we got some news." CD said.
Kate looked at them. "What news?"
"We're pregnant!" Nate shouted.

I am sorry I took so long to post on this fic. I have been really busy. But anyway, if anyone is still reading this, here is more.

CD smiled. "Pregnant."
Raina was of course evesdropping. "Did I hear someone is pregnant?"
"Yes, my beautiful wife is." Nate said kissing CD's cheek. CD smiled.
"Oh my God. I am sooo happy for you." Raina said and went up to hug CD. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I hurt you??"
CD laughed. "Of course not. I am glad you are happy."
"I am! I am VERY happy." Raina assured her.
Nate looked at Kate. "What's the matter Captain? You haven't said a word since we told you."
Kate wiped a tear away. "I am just so happy." She went over to CD and hugged her.
"Hey, I had a little part in this too. Doesn't anyone want to hug me?" Nate asked with a sad face.
Kate smiled. "Absolutely. Come here." She said as she opened her arms and hugged Nate. Then Raina walked over and hugged him. And then CD joined in.

Finally, Jinny and Teddy were home with their baby. Over the next few days, things were going very well. Teddy Jr. was very good with crying and sleeping at just the right times. Kiera and Kelly were soo happy to have a little brother. But one night, Teddy Jr. was very fussy. He cried and cried and cried. He had never done that before.
"Don't worry honey. Babies cry. That's what they do." Teddy said.
Jinny shook her head. "But he never does this. I am worried. Maybe we should take him to the doctor."
Teddy looked at her. "Do you remember when the twins forst came home from the hospital?"
"Yes." She said.
"What was the only thing they did?" He asked.
She shook her head. "But this is--"
"What was the only thing they did?" He asked again.
She sighed. "Cry..but this is different. Something is wrong."
"I think you are overreacting." He said to her.
Jinny shook her head and left the room.

Later on that night, Teddy Jr. finally stopped crying. Jinny and Teddy got some sleep while the could. The next morning, Jinny got out of bed and went to Teddy Jr.'s room. She screamed. "HONEY! GET UP HERE! IT'S TEDDY."

Later on that night, Teddy Jr. finally stopped crying. Jinny and Teddy got some sleep while the could. The next morning, Jinny got out of bed and went to Teddy Jr.'s room. She screamed. "HONEY! GET UP HERE! IT'S TEDDY."
Theodore ran up to the nursery. “What is it?”
“He isn’t waking up. Quick, go call an ambulance.” Jinny ordered him. “NOW!”

About 15 minutes later, an ambulance showed up.
“Please help us. My baby won’t wake up.” Jinny pleaded.
The paramedic picked up the baby boy and put him on the bed to examine him. “We will do our best ma’am. Let’s get him on a stretcher and get to a hospital.”

Jinny and Theodore had to wait in the waiting room while they were working on him. Jinny is glad she had to stay out anyway. She could hardly bare to see what they were doing to him in the ambulance. They were waiting there for a little while when Kate and Magda showed up.
“Jinny, what happened? Are you alright?” Magda asked.
Jinny shook her head. “It’s Teddy Jr., when we woke up this morning, I went to check on him and..” She said as tears started to come to her eyes. “...he didn’t wake up.”
“Oh God Jinny, I’m sorry. Did you hear anything yet?” Kate asked.
Jinny couldn’t even talk.
“No not yet. They said they would be out as soon as they heard anything.” Teddy told them.
Just then, a doctor came out. “Mr. and Mrs. Blumenthal?”
Jinny quickly arose. “Yes, that’s us.”
“I’m sorry. Your son came in here not breathing and we were not able to make him breathe. I am so sorry. We were not able to revive him.” The doctor explained.
“Oh my god. No! No!!” Jinny said and fell to the floor.
Kate and Magda ran to her. “Jinny? Jinny, wake up." The doctor knelt down beside her. Then he screamed to a nurse. “Someone get me a gurney now!”
There was nothing wrong with Jinny. She just fainted because she was in shock. Kate, Magda, and Teddy stayed in the room until she woke up. Around 1:00 PM, she opened her eyes.
“Hey Jin, welcome back.” Teddy said to her.
Jinny looked around. “Where am I?”
“You’re in the hospital. You fainted.” Kate said to her.
Jinny looked at Magda. “Please tell me I dreamt about my baby. Tell me it wasn’t true.”
“I’m sorry sweetie. It wasn’t a dream. Teddy Jr. died earlier this morning.” Magda told her.
Jinny started crying. “This is all my fault.”
Kate held her hand. “No, don’t think that. No one is able to tell these kind of things with babies. It was not your fault.”
Jinny started crying. “You don’t understand. Last night he was crying. He cried all night. I should have taken him to the hospital last night and this would not have happened. I killed my baby!” She started crying even harder.

Hi all. I have got good news. Well, good news for you anyway. The reason I wasn't able to finish this was because of a play that I was supposed to be in and monolougues I was supposed to do for my acting class. Both the things were cancelled so it looks like I will be able to continue with this fic. YAY! Here is more.

A few weeks went by and Jinny was still extremely depressd. She went back to work 8 days after Teddy Jr. died. Kate, Teddy, and Magda all tried to convince not to. They just wanted her to rest for a couple of weeks but of course Jinny, as stubborn as she is, refused to and put herslf into her work. They got a new case on a girl being stocked by her boyfriend because she broke up with him. Jinny and Magda were on the case. Jinny and Magda were sitting at their desks when Jack Ellis walked in.

He walked up to Jinny's desk. "Jinny? Can I talk to you?"
"Yeah. Mag, is there anyone in interrogation room 3?" Jinny asked her partner.
Magda turned her chair and saw that Jack was standing there. "Um, no there is no one in there. Hi Jack. It's been awhile."
"Yes it has. It's nice to see you again Magda." Jack said.
Jinny started walking. "I'll be back soon Mag."

Jack and Jinny went into the room.
"I heard. Are you okay?" Jack asked.
Jinny strted to get tears in her eyes. "For a murderer, just peachy."
"You are not a murderer. It just happened. It was not your fault." He said.
Jinny sat down and buried her head in her hands. "I should have taken him to the hospital that night. If I had I would still be a mother."
Jack sat next to her. "You are a mother." He put his hand on her shoulder. "You have two beautiful daughters who need their mother."
"I'll probably kill them too. I am a terrible mother." She said.
Jack stood up. "This is not a Jinny I know. The Jinny I know would realize this was not her fault and would get on with her life. You have been through so much and you have always gotten through it. This is no different."

Jinny smiled for a second and stopped. "Yes but this is differnt. I am not taking pills or drinkin one scotch after another. This is nothing compared to my past."
"Maybe not. But you will get through it. Your friends, family, and I will be there to get you though it. I promise." He said.
Jinny got out of her chair. "Really? You will be there?"
He got out of his chair as well and stood next to her. "Of course. We may be divorced, but I still care what happens to you." He said then hugged her. They broke off the hug and Jack pulled her into a kiss. Just then, Kate and Raina walked into the interogation room.

Meanwhile, CD and Nate took a personal day because CD wasn't feeling too well because of the morning sickness. They thought it was a little too early for that but they assume its not. Nate and CD were sitting on the couch waching a movie. Nate wanted to watch 'Austin Powers 8: Never Fall in Love Again' but CD wanted to watch 'Love Story'. CD was the pregnant one so of course she won. As she was watching the movie, CD kept thinking to herself about being a mother. She wanted to be a great mother but worried she was going to be like her own. So she asked Nate's advice.
"Nate, do you think I will be a good mother?" She asked.
Nate looked at her and smiled. "Of course you will. Remember that case back in 2003? You were so great with that abandoned baby. You are awesome with Jinny's girls too. Don't have any doubts. You will be great. I promise."
She looked up into Nate's beautiful eyes. "I love you Nate Basso."
"I love you too CD Basso." They kissed.
CD broke the kiss. "How about something to eat?"
"Sure. I will go make something." Nate said.
CD laughed. "I will make it."
Nate stopped her. "Ha I don't think so."
"What is that supposed to mean?" She asked.
"Let someone do something for you for a change." He said and gave her a peck on the cheek.
She looked at him and laughed. "Bull. You don't want me cooking because I am pregnant."
"Well. Maybe. I am only looking out for the baby." He said.
CD sighed. "I am not even 2 moth pregnant. I can't do much harm by cooking lunch."
"I don't care. I am making it. What woud you like?" He asked her.
She smiled. "Well if you are making it, then toast!"

Raina came rushing out to Magda while Kate was still inthe interrogation room.
"Magda!! Oh my God you are never going to believe this!" Raina said while running over to her desk.
Magda spun her chair around. "What!?"

Kate closed the door after kicking Raina out.
"What is going on here?" She asked the two cops as they still looked embarassed.
Jack turned to Kate. "It was all my fault. I kissed her."
"It wasn't just you. It wasn't like you were kissing yourself in the mirror. I was on the other end of that." She said.
Kate spoke up. "This Division is not a kissing booth. I just want to make sure it does not happen again here."
Jack nodded. "It won't." They all paused. "I guess I had better be going." He said and left.

After Jack left, Jinny was left in the interrogation room with Kate.
"What is going on Jinny?" Kate asked and went closer to Jinny.
Jinny sighed. "I didn't mean to. All we were doing was talkin and then next thing you know he hugged me I guess to try and comfort me and then we just...kissed. I didn't want to."
"I know. So, are you going to tell Teddy?" Kate asked.
Jinny gave her a look. "You must be out of your mind. I cannot tell him. He hates it enough that Jack and I were married. He is not going to appreciate that Jack and I kissed." She paused and went to Kate. "Look, I know what kind of position I am putting you in asking you not to tell. After all, Teddy is the D.A. and you see each other a lot of the time. But I am asking. Please?"
"Alright. I won't tell." Kate said.
Jinny smiled. "Thank you soo much."
Kate had to warn her. "But I don't think it is me telling that you have to worry about." Kate said as she motioned to Jinny to come out of the room. When Jinny did, Magda and Raina were fighting.

"Will you please come out with it Raina? Jinny and Jack what in the interrogation room?" Magda asked.
"I told you we would play sharrades so you can figure it out." Raina said and then Magda really got mad.
She started to scream. "JUST TELL ME WHAT THE F*** WENT ON IN THERE, NOW!!!!!!!!!"
Kate walked up to her. "Excuse me Inspector Ramirez?"
Magda started to turn every shade of red. "Uh, nothing Captain."
"We are the police department. We are supposed to be setting an example. Does screaming curses because of something that isn't even your business be setting an example?"
Magda really started to get scared. "No Ma'am."
"Good!" She says and starts walking back to her office. But before she reaches the door, she hears Raina say something.
"You got in trouble. You go in trouble! Nah nah nah nah nah!" Raina said and then stuck her tongue out.
"Hey Washington, you will be going back to desk duty if you don't keep that tongue in your mouth and learn to kepp that mouth of yours closed!" Kate said and slammed the door to her office.
Magda looked to make sure Captain wasn't looking and turned to Raina and made her crack now.
"You got in trouble. You go in trouble! Nah nah nah nah nah!" Magda said and then stuck her tongue out.
Raina just decided to ignore her.
Magda got up and motioned for Jinny to follow her to the bathroom. Jinny followed her not knowing they had company.

"Now come on Jinny tell me. What happened between you and Jack? I never saw anyone run out of this station so fast. Not even a criminal. Now what's going on?" Magda demanded to know.
Jinny sighed. "We kissed each other."
Magda was shocked. "What!? Oh my God Jin."
"That's not the worst part. The worst is that the Captain and Raina walked in on us. It was soo humiliating. I have already gotten the Cap's word that she won't say anything. Now all I need to do is make you and Raina both swear you won't say anything." She explained.
"I won't say anything Jin. I am your best friend but I would go and tell Miss Blabbermouth that right now before she does tell anyone." Magda said.
Little did they know that Miss Blabbermouth had her ear to the door the whole time. "Miss Blabbermouth hey? They are going to pay for that." Raina said to herself as she left.
Jinny and Magda both left the bathroom to go find Raina. She was no where to be seen.

Meanwhile, at CD and Nate's house, it was pretty quiet. CD had fallen asleep and Nate was just watching her. He was thinking to himslef how lucky he is to have such a beautiful wife. Then he fell asleep right beside her himself.

After work, Jinny came home to find Teddy was on the phone so she didn't want to disturb him. She got kind of worried when she saw the expression on Teddy's face. He looked very upset. So Jinny went to go check on the girls. After she did that, she went to her room to get changed. There was a knock on the bedroom door. Teddy walked in.
"Sweetie, we need to talk." He said.
Jinny then worried. "Sure. What about?"
"I just got off of the phone with one of my co workers. Do you remember D.A. Sanderson?" He asked.
Jinny thought. "Sure I remember meeting him once or twice. What did he want? Nothing is wrong I hope."
"Actually there is something wrong." Teddy said and sat down on the bed with Jinny. "I heard you were found kissing Detective Jack Ellis in an interrogation room tody."

Jinny sighed. "Teddy I'm not going to lie to you. We were talking in the interrogation room and he kissed me. I didn't want it to happen. It was a mistake. I'm sorry."
Teddy got up and walked out the door. Jinny sat down on the bed and cried her eyes out.
Teddy went to Sam's Club to find Jack. He found Jack in isle 6.
Teddy went up to him. Jack was startled. "Mr. Blumenthal.." Teddy
pushed him up against a wall and knocked over some items. "If you EVER go near my wife again, I will hunt you down and trust me you don't want that."
Jack shook his head. "I understand."
"Good." Teddy said and walked away.
Jinny was back at home. She was still on the bed crying. She then heard the front door open. Jinny walked out and saw who was at the door. "Teddy.."
Teddy walked in and walked up to Jinny and hugged her.
"Teddy I am so sorry. I promise I will never ever do it again." She cried.
Teddy looked at her. "I know. I'm sorry I haven't been paying much attention to you and let it happen."
"That's not it. You have been a great husband. You have paid attention to me. I just wasn't paying attention. I'm sorry." She said still crying. They kissed and went to bed.

The next morning, Jinny came into the Division so chipper! Everyone noticed. Especially Magda.

"Why are you so happy this morning huh?" Magda said getting excited hoping for details.
Jinny grinned. "Nothing."
"Oh come on. I know you are happy about something. Did you and Teddy have fun last night?" She smiled.
She grinned. "That is no one's business but my own. And yes I did." She laughed.

Then CD and Nate walked in. Jinny and Magda noticed CD. She looked different.

"Hey Guys." She said as she walked to her desk.
Jinny went over to her. "You are glowing. What's up?"
"I don't know. It's weird I just can't stop smiling today." She giggled.

Kate walked in noticing that a lot her Inspectors were smiling. She was getting a little suspicious but was happy they were all happy for once. The day went by quickly. Jinny was happy to get home to her family.

"Hi I'm home." Jinny said as she walked in and as soon as she finished the sentence, there were two girls by here side.

"MOMMY!!!" They both yelled at the same time. Jinny had to smile at that. Then Teddy came in.
He smiled at her. "Hi honey." He said and kissed.
"Ewwwwww." Kiera and Kelly both said at the same time. Jinny and Teddy laughed.
Teddy saw their faces. "So what do you two want for dinner tonight?"
Kiera spoke up fast. "I want cheeseburgers!!!"
"I want tuna fish!" Kelly said afterwards.
Jinny smiled. "This is going to be a fun night." Teddy laughed.

It's 4 months later and CD was with Nate in their obstetricians office. when the doctor came in, she had a machine with her.

She walked up to them. "So you are both sure you want to find out the sex of the baby?" She asked.
"Oh yes!" CD said excitedly.
"Ok let's get set up then." She got the machine all ready. The doctor put the jelly on CD's stomach and did the ultrasound. "It looks like you have got a nice healthy baby here."
She smiled. "Can you tell the sex."
The doctor took a closer look at the screen and grinned. "No I can't tell the sex."
CD frowned. "I thought that's what we were here for."
"BUT..I can tell you the sexes."
CD and Nate both froze. "Sexes!?"
"Yep. Let's see...one, two, three heads!" She told them.
"3?? Oh my god Nate 3 babies!" CD smiled. She had tears in her eyes.
The doctor looked closely. "It looks like 2 girls in there."
CD had tears in her eyes. "Two little girls.."
"And it looks like they have a little brother."
Nate smiled. "I have a son."

CD and Nate decided they weren’t going to tell anyone that it was triplets. They thought it would be a nice surprise. Jinny and Teddy were also doing a lot better. One day while Teddy was at work, he had gotten a great promotion. It was in New York though. He told them he had to think about it at first and discuss it with Jinny. Jinny also had found out some wonderful news that day as well. She would discuss it with him that night. The long work day finally ended and Jinny went straight home to cook a special dinner and Teddy picked up the girls from day care. When Teddy got home, they all sat down to dinner and then the girls went to play in their room and Jinny and Teddy sat down.

Jinny smiled. “Teddy, I have something to tell you.”
He looked at her. “I have something to tell you too.”
“Oh well you go first.” She didn’t want her surprise to interfere with his.
Teddy took a deep breath. “Okay. I got offered a promotion today–“
Jinny was so happy. She knew this was going to be a great night. “Honey that’s fantastic!”
“Not so fast. See..the job is in New York.” Teddy just stared at her reaction.
Jinny kind of frowned. “New York?”
“Yeah. I didn’t give them an answer until I discussed it with you first.”
“That was considerate Teddy thanks..but you’re the one who is going to have to do the job.” She tried to reassure him.
Teddy gave a strange look. “Yes but you are going to have to move your life so you are in this with me. Always.”
Jinny smiled. “What do you want to do?”
“I don’t know. We’ve raised our children in this house you know? Your dad and brother are here. My family is here..but on the other hand this is a great opportunity.” Teddy sighed. “I don’t know what to do”
Jinny smiled and looked into his eyes. “I go wherever you go. Just think it over tonight and we’ll work out the rest of the details later.”
“Thank you Jin.” He hugged her then remembered she had news of her own. “By the way, what was your news?”
Jinny didn’t want him to deal with all of this at once so decided not to tell him yet. “Uh..Kiera learned how to say ‘cheeseburger’ today.”
Teddy was a little confused but accepted it. “Oh..that’s great!” Jinny hugged him again. “Want to go to bed?”
She smiled. “You bet!”

Two more weeks went by and basically everything remained the same. Teddy still hadn’t decided what to do which was bothering Jinny. It was her life too and she didn’t know where she was going to be living in a few months. Teddy came home from work and Jinny needed to tell him what was going on.

“Hi Teddy.” She greeted him.
Teddy looked so tired. “Hi. The boss is all over me about making a decision. He says I need to have one by tomorrow morning and I just don’t know what to do.”
“Well I need to talk to you about that.” Jinny’s cheeks started to get all red. Teddy knew something was up.
“Tell me.”
Jinny took a big deep breath and just spit it out. “I’m pregnant Teddy.”
Teddy couldn’t believe what he just heard. He just have her a blank stare. Inside he was happy but now he was more confused than ever. “I.. I.. umm.”
“I know this really isn’t the best time and after Teddy Jr. and everything but I decided I am going to have it but I need your help. How are we going to do this?” Jinny was getting really nervous.
Teddy just smiled and kissed her. “Who knows how this is going to work out.” Jinny picked her up and spun her around the room in his arms. He was so happy. “We’re going to have a baby!”
“Yes we are.” Jinny laughed and kissed him. “Look, we can move to New York if we can just stay here until the baby is born.”
Teddy smiled. “I think we can do that. I love you.”
“I love you too.” They kissed some more and went to tell Kiera and Kelly the good news.

Jinny and Teddy decided not to tell anyone else quite yet. They didn’t want to take the spotlight off of CD and Nate. CD was getting close to delivering but they didn’t know that yet. Triplets always came early. They were all a little curious as to why CD was so big for only 5 months but they didn’t say anything. Raina thought they should throw CD a baby shower. So a few weeks later, CD was on her way home from work when Nate was taking a different way home. CD didn’t know why but just went along with it. They pulled up to Kate’s house. Now CD had to question it.

“Why are we here?” She asked with confusion.
Nate tried to hide the big smile on his face. “I just have to pick up some documents she took with her by accident.”
CD was still confused. “Can’t you just get them tomorrow at work?”
All Nate could think was ‘God she doesn’t make this easy.’ “Well I need to work on them tonight.” He turned off the ignition. “Want to come up with me to say hello?”
“Honey, we just saw her a half an hour ago.” CD chuckled.
Nate sighed. “Come on I don’t want you sitting in the car by yourself. She’s going to offer me coffee or something.” He tried to think of something to tell her.
CD gave in. “Oh alright, alright Not long though, I’m kinda tired.”
“We won’t be long.”
Nate helped her out of the car and she waddled up to the house. Everyone else inside hid behind furniture and waited CD and Nate to ring the doorbell. When they heard it, Kate went to answer the doorbell. She turned the lights off. When she answered the door, CD was a little confused as to why the lights were turned off. Kate answered the door CD and Nate stepped in.

“Kate, what happened to the lights?” CD asked.
Kate tried to stop from grinning. “I don’t know. Come on in and we’ll see.”

CD and Nate walked in and the lights came on and 20 people screamed ‘SURPRISE ’ CD just smiled and was getting a little teary. She wasn’t expecting this. Nate kissed her goodbye and left for a few hours so they could have some fun. So for the next two hours, she opened gifts. She had almost everything she needed, for one baby. She found the humorous that she’d still have to go out and buy two more of everything. Still she didn’t want to tell anyone. Nate picked her up, they loaded everything into the car and left.

“You knew all about this didn’t you?” CD smiled.
Nate grinned. “So what if I did?”
“And you didn’t tell me How did you manage that?”
Nate blushed. “Well they told me today before I left work. They knew you’d torture me with something if I told.”
CD laughed. “They would have been right.”

They put together the nursery. They told everyone it wasn’t done yet because they had to put three of everything in there and didn’t want them to know. Couple more weeks went by and Jinny and CD were getting bigger. Jinny just told them she was eating too much. Kate knew what was going on with her, even though she didn’t say anything. She just smiled about it. Jinny went home that day and Teddy was already there.

Jinny gave him a quick kiss. “Hi. What are you doing home so early?”
“Well I needed to talk to you and this couldn’t wait.” Teddy said seriously.
Jinny sat down. She didn’t think she was going to like what she had to hear. “Ok go ahead.”
He sighed. “I spoke to my boss and as it turns out. We need to be in New York by September 15.”
“But…the baby isn’t due until October. I thought I would at least get to have my baby here with my family and friends.” She was ready to burst into tears. She knew she had to move but she didn’t think it would be so soon.
Teddy felt like she was letting Jinny down. He didn’t know what to say. “I am trying. Really I am. I will try and talk to him again. I want us to be here too. Please know that.”
“I know Teddy. I’m sorry I am being so difficult. It must be the hormones.” *she tried it laugh but it didn’t come out.
Teddy sat next to Jinny. “If we can’t move to New York by November like we planned, then I won’t go.”
“It’s your job Teddy. Don’t let my tears stop you from getting your promotion please. I’m just being…a girl.” She giggled. “I’m sorry.”
Teddy put his hands on her face. “You have absolutely nothing to be sorry for. You are more important to me than some job. I only want to make you happy.”
Jinny smiled. “All I want is to make you happy.” They hugged.

With CD now 7 months along, she had to stay off of her feet as much as possible. Nate waited on her hand and foot, which she hated. They were in the nursery putting the finishing touches on the room.

Nate sighed and grabbed the paintbrush from CD’s hands. “I told you CD. You cannot lift heavy things!”
“Newsflash Nate, paintbrushes weigh 2 pounds IF that!” CD was getting annoyed.
“No heavy things! Not even a paintbrush. I’m only following orders.” Nate acted innocent.
CD walked, or waddled up to him. “No you are following MY orders. You have to stop being so controlling Nathan.” CD knew he hated being called that.
“Excuuuse me Candace!” Nate grinned.

CD just walked over to paint some more when she looked down and saw that her water broke. She knew she had to go to the hospital but the room wasn’t done yet. She wanted to finish it, but when she felt that pain, she couldn’t paint anymore. She grabbed on to the wall and started breathing. Nate heard something but couldn’t tell that it was breathing.

“CD what’s that noise?” He continued to put the paint on the wall.
CD ignored him and continued breathing until it was over.
Nate got annoyed. “Okay now you’re not speaking to me? This is ridiculous all because I grabbed your paint brush?” He mumbled to himself, “Pregnant women are so sensitive!”

“CD what’s that noise?” He continued to put the paint on the wall.
CD ignored him and continued breathing until it was over.
Nate got annoyed. “Okay now you’re not speaking to me? This is ridiculous all because I grabbed your paint brush?” He mumbled to himself, “Pregnant women are so sensitive!”
As CD was finishing her breathing, she walked over to Nate and hit him on the head.
“Hey!! What was that for?” He said as he rubbed his head.
CD looked mad. “I was having a contraction you moron!”
“What the hell does that..OOH! It’s my fault isn’t it?? I shouldn’t have pushed you so hard with the paintbrush!” Nate panicked.
CD grabbed the paintbrush and threw it at his head. “There now pull yourself together!”

Nate did EXACTLY as he was told, being sure not to get CD mad. Nate called everyone to tell them that CD was being taken to the hospital. They were able to contact everyone and they were on their way to the hospital. When CD and Nate got there, no one was there yet. They quickly took CD into another room. Nate waited around the halls while they were hooking CD up. He sat down in a wheelchair cause his legs were tired. He starting drifting off and saying weird things. A nurse walked by and looked at the chart that was on the handle of the wheelchair. It was for a man named George Brandis and he was having trouble sleeping at night. So the nurse saw him talking and decided to help him out.

The nurse tried to interrupt him mumbling. “I see you finally got to sleep. Would you like me to give you something so you sleep the night?”
Nate didn’t open his eyes but he was talking. “My head hurts. My wife through a paintbrush at me.”
The nurse was very confused but figured it was from his lack of sleep. “OK I will take that as a yes!” The nurse got out a shot and lifted his sleeve to give it to him. As soon as he felt that little pinch, he jumped out of the chair.
“OW! Hey what do you think you’re doing!?” Nate screamed and rubbed his arm.
The nurse was now confused more than ever. “I was just giving you your shot to help you sleep, Mr. Brandis.”
“I am not Mr. Brandis! My wife is here having a baby!” He tried to explain.
The nurse was beet red. “Well you were in his seat and I’m sorry!”
Nate wasn’t in the mood to hear excuses. “What is this shot gonna do to me?”
“Well, for people who are already sleeping, it helps them sleep more. For someone who is awake and has no intention of sleeping, it makes you groggy and a little loopy.” She said.
Nate was now upset. “So great, while my wife is having our triplets, I am gonna be loopy. Just grrreat!”

Nate went into CD’s room to see how she was doing. He knew she was going to be mad but what can he do? It wasn’t his fault. He walked in the room and was already getting screamed at.

CD pointed at Nate. “There he is. That’s the jackass who did this to me! You’re not getting anymore sex, ever again Nathan Basso!”
“So how is she doing Doctor? You know, besides the hostility..” Nate whispered the last part to the Doctor.
The Doctor smiled. “She’s doing great. It may be a little while yet though so she can have some visitors only if she wants them. Better not get her more mad than she already is.” She chuckled as she left the room.

Suddenly, something hit Nate and he just laughed. CD got really mad and tried to make him scared so he would stop.

“Oh so you think this is funny huh? Why don’t you go get a paintbrush and I’ll throw it at your head again!”
Nate walked in a little circle. “Hey, you got a very pretty room. Very colorful.”
CD was confused. “What the hell is the matter with you?”

There was a knock on the door and a nurse came in.

“Mrs. Basso? I think I should explain.” She said.
CD was now completely lost. “Who are you?”
“I am a nurse here in the hospital. I accidentally gave your husband a shot that is, as you can see, going to make him a little goofy. I thought he was someone else cause he was sitting in a wheelchair. I do apologize.” She explained.
CD sighed. “Well knowing my husband, he shouldn’t have been sitting in the chair anyway. Thanks for coming to tell me yourself.”
She pointed at Nate. “Well I knew he couldn’t tell you.” They both laughed.

Jinny came into CD’s room to see how she was doing. She saw Nate just standing in front of the wall staring at it. She just waved it off.

“Hey, how you doing?” She put her hand on CD’s shoulder for support.
CD sighed. “Just great. I’m glad you’re here. I need someone helping me through this.”
Jinny gave her a look. “What about Nate?”
“How can my stoned husband help me when he’s busy looking at the wall?”
Jinny turned to look at Nate. “Stoned?”
Nate saw her. “Hey, I know you!” He pointed to Jinny.
“It’s Jin Nate.” She said.
Nate shook his head. “No that isn’t it! You’re…Nancy!”
“Uh okay.” She went back to CD. “What is the matter with him?” She asked CD.

Jinny was fed up and went over to him. She smacked him right across the face.
“Cool it mister! Now let’s go back in there and please act normal.” She asked.
Nate acted normal. “Okay I’m ready to go back in.” He said and then passed out.

Couple hours later, Nate woke up on a hospital bed. He looked around and didn’t remember anything that happened. As he was trying to get out of bed, the nurse that accidentally gave him that shot, came in the room.

“Good morning!” She said to him.
Nate got mad. “Morning!?! What happened?”
The nurse sat down. “Well I accidentally gave you that shot and you fainted.”
Nate remembered the shot now. “Oh I remember. My wife…”
“She’s fine. She is in surgery now. They had to do a c-section but she is fine. You can go up right away if you’re up for it.”
“Of course I am. Lead the way.” He got out of bed and followed her.

They got him in a gown and let him in the operating room. He went right over to CD’s side.

“I’m here honey.” Nate said and grabbed her hand.
CD smiled. “You made it.”
Nate kissed her forehead. “I sure did. I am so sorry.”
“I know it wasn’t your fault. I’m just glad you made it before they were born.” CD was so relieved.
The doctor looked over at them. “Are you guys ready to be parents, because here is your first baby girl.”
Nate looked over. “We have a daughter sweetheart!”
“She looks healthy. One down two to go.”
CD had tears in her eyes. “We’re parent’s Nate. Can you believe it?”
The doctor looked over once again. “Here’s your son.”
Nate and CD smiled like they’d never smiled before. This was the happiest day of their lives. “Is he okay?” Nate asked.
“Looks real good. One more. You okay CD?” He asked.
CD picked up her head a little bit. “I’m perfect.”

Meanwhile, everyone else was out in the waiting room. Jinny had a weird look on her face all night and Kate went over to tell her.

Kate sat down next to her. “Hey Jinny.”
Jinny decided to have fun and mocked her. “Hey Katie.”
“Not funny.” Kate said seriously.
“Okay okay.” She went back to her smiling.
Kate just stared her down. “So when are you telling everyone?”
Jinny didn’t know how she found out. “What are you talking about Cap?” She tried to cover.
“You think I’m stupid? The nonstop smiling, the secrets, the sneaking around..” She knew Jinny was busted.
“Alright you caught me.” She said and smiled bigger.
Kate sat closer. “Why won’t you tell anyone?” She asked.
“I didn’t want to take all the attention off of CD and Nate. This is their moment. I will announce it soon. There’ s something else I need to talk to you about though.” She began.
“What?” She asked.
“Well..”

As she was beginning, Nate was walking in.

“It’s a boy!” He screamed.

Everyone else cheered but stopped when he had something else to say.

“And he has two sisters!”

Everyone’s jaws dropped.

Kate spoke up first. “Two sisters??”
“TRIPLETS?!?!” Raina shouted.
Nate nodded his head and smiled.
“Can we see them?” She asked.
“Of course. Come on.” Nate led the way.
Kate stopped CD cause she wanted to know the news.
“Tell me what other thing?” She prepared herself.
Jinny took a big breath and just looked at her. “I’m leaving Kate.” She paused. Kate didn’t know what she was talking about. “I’m going to New York.”
Kate just stood there looking at her. She couldn’t believe it. Was her best inspector leaving for good?

“They’re beautiful CD.” Raina said holding on of the little girls.
CD smiled. “Thank you Raina.”
“Have you decided on any names?” Magda asked.
Nate started. “I get to pick the boy’s name and CD gets to pick the girls.” He said smiling at his son. “Nathan Basso Jr.”
“Love it.” CD said. “I think I’ll name this one Angela Basso. And this one Marie Basso.” CD said proudly.

“You can’t leave.” Kate said getting teary.
Jinny was tearing up too. “I have to. Teddy got a job promotion there and we have to move in October after the baby’s born.”
Kate was just stunned. “Isn’t there anything you can do to stay here?”
“We tried. We have to do this move. I have 5 months here. I figured tomorrow I would start telling people I’m pregnant since I’m starting to show. Then later on I’d tell them about the move but you can’t say anything.” She explained.
“I will only to you. I have to try and beg you to stay.” Tears were finally streaming down her face.
Jinny hugged her. “I’m sorry, but my obligation is with my husband. He wants this so bad.”
Kate wiped them away. “I just want you to be happy.”
“I will be. Thanks.” She said.

Raina came out to see what was keeping them. “Hey guys! What are you doing out here?”
“We’re coming Raina.” Kate said and started to walk. “You coming Jinny?”
Jinny nodded. “In a minute.” She walked towards the restrooms, where she just sat on the floor and cried.

Five minutes later, Jinny came into CD’s room. They could tell she had been crying but just left it alone.

“Oh CD they’re beautiful.” Jinny said. “Why didn’t you tell us it was triplets?”
CD blushed. “We wanted to surprise everyone.”
“It worked!!” Magda said, as she was holding Marie.
CD looked at Jin. “Hey, do you want to hold Angela?”
“Sure.” She said and walked over to CD to pick up Angela.
Jinny looked at her and realized how wonderful it is going to be to have another baby around the house. “She is gorgeous CD! Look at those beautiful brown eyes! She’s going to be a heartbreaker!”
Nate stood up. “Not my daughter! She is going to be home every night at 9:30pm till she is 35!”

Jinny looked at her and realized how wonderful it is going to be to have another baby around the house. “She is gorgeous CD! Look at those beautiful brown eyes! She’s going to be a heartbreaker!”
Nate stood up. “Not my daughter! She is going to be home every night at 9:30pm till she is 35!”
Everyone laughed.
Jinny decided to speak up. “Well since everyone is here, I might as well tell you. You probably have all noticed that I have gained a little weight and well…I’m pregnant!”
Magda ran to Jinny and hugged her. “Why did you wait so long to tell us?”
“Well I didn’t want to take the attention away from CD and Nate. You guys deserved it. Now was the right now to say anything.” She said smiling.
CD smiled. “Congratulations Jinny. When is it due?”
“Mid October.” She said then frowned.
Magda was a little worried. “You’re happy about the baby aren’t you?”
“Of course I am. We both are. It’s just not very good timing. I mean, it wasn’t long ago that we had Teddy Jr.” Jinny said feeling even more sad.
Magda hugged her. “I know. You’re never going to forget him no matter how many children you have, but you do have to let go.”
Jinny started to smile. “I know. This will be great”

Couple of days later, CD and her triplets were released from the hospital. They were looking forward to their first evening at home with their new family. Teddy had arranged it with his boss that they could move two weeks after the baby is born. They really wanted him out there. She figured since Kate knew, she could tell Magda next. This had to be the only thing she hated about the whole thing, telling everyone.

“What do you mean moving?” Magda said, in shock.
Jinny was now getting upset herself. “Teddy has a new job out there. We have to.”
Magda was crying by now. “When?”
“October.” She sat down.
“5 months? That’s it?”
Jinny nodded. “I really wish I had more time. He needs to be out there after the baby’s born. We agreed that I can have my baby here with my family and friends.”

The months went by and everyone was upset by Jinny going to New York. John Sr. was especially upset, so he is going to go with them. That made Jinny feel a little better, but not much. She didn’t want to leave all of her friends. Anyway, Jinny wasn’t feeling well one day and she went home early. When Teddy got home, she was fast asleep on the couch.

Teddy woke up her with a very passionate kiss. She moaned a little, then started to enjoy it. She wanted to tease him. “Brad, I told you to leave before my husband gets home!” She kidded and smiled.
“Ooh you..” He said and kissed her again. “Honey, sit up.”
Jinny did so. “Uh oh. It’s never good when you have that tone in your voice. What’s wrong?”
“The firm wants me to check some things out in New York before we go. I need to be there in 2 weeks.” He said with a sad look on his face.
Jinny sighed. “How long will you have to stay there?”
“About three weeks. I’m sorry.” Teddy said.
Jinny stood up. “What about me? The baby can come early. What am I going to do if you’re gone?”
He stood up with her and put his arms around her. “If that happens, but I don’t think it will, you call me and I am on the first plane back.”
She put her head down. “This isn’t fair. Couldn’t they have asked you to do it earlier?”
“Yeah they could’ve but they didn’t. I’m sorry. I feel like I am failing you at everything lately.” He said.
“I’m sorry if I’ve made you feel that way. I love you and where ever you go, I go, forever.” They hugged and kissed.

2 weeks later, it was time for Teddy to leave. Kelly and Kiera are going to stay at Jinny’s Dad’s house, since Jinny can’t move around too well. Teddy asked Magda if Jinny could stay at her place, since he doesn’t want her left alone. Magda agreed and after a struggle, so did Jinny. Magda went to Jinny’s house that day to say goodbye to Teddy and to pick Jinny up.

Teddy and Jinny were hugging. They couldn’t let go of each other. “If you need me, you call me and I will be here in a few hours!”
Jinny was crying. “I’m going to miss you so much! Call me everyday.”
“Twice a day!” He gave her another quick kiss and got into his cab. “I love you.”
“I love you more!” She blew him a kiss as the cab pulled away. Magda walked up to her and hugged her.
She needed to get her away. “Want to go grab a snack or something?”
“No.” She said.
“You got to eat something.” Magda bugged.
Jinny smiled. “I know. A snack isn’t going to do anything for me. Let’s go get lunch!” She said and they both got into Magda’s car.

Jinny wiped her mouth and got serious. “I’m just so afraid that I am going to have the baby and he won’t be there.”
Magda tried to cheer her up. “Well just no going into Wal-Mart. You already had a Sam’s Club baby. We don’t need a Wal-Mart baby.” They both giggled. “He’ll be here.”

A few days passed and Jinny was getting sadder each day. She wanted Teddy there. As she was taking a nap, her cell phone rang.

“Exstead.” She said.
“Hi I’m calling to confirm that Theodore Blumenthal lives at 2945 Staton Street.” The receptionist said into the phone.
“Yes he does. I am his wife. May I ask what this is regarding?” Jinny said nervously.
“We are calling because we need to verify information when trying to get a passport.”
Jinny was lost. “Whoa wait. A passport?”
“For his trip to Hawaii.” The receptionist said.
Jinny paused for a minute before she said anything else. “Oh, of course. His trip to...Hawaii. Thank you.”
“Goodbye Ma’am.” She said and they both hung up. Magda saw a weird look on Jinny’s face and went to see what’s wrong.

“He’s leaving me.” Jinny said and she started crying.
Magda didn’t believe it. “What?! What are you talking about?”
“I just got a phone call from a travel agent about a passport to Hawaii. He’s leaving me.”

“He’s leaving me.” Jinny said and she started crying.
Magda didn’t believe it. “What?! What are you talking about?”
“I just got a phone call from a travel agent about a passport to Hawaii. He’s leaving me.” She said crying.
Magda smiled. “Come on, I’m sure he has an explanation for it. Call him tonight.”
“Ooh I’m going to!” She said, more mad than sad.

Meanwhile, CD and Nate’s triplets were a few months old by now. Today is CD’s first day back to work, since Jinny needed to go on maternity leave now. She hated to leave the kids with a nanny, but she couldn’t bring them to work.

“Come on CD, they will be alright.” Nate said, trying to comfort her.
CD was wiping away small tears. “This is the first time I’m being separated from them. I’m allowed to be upset. I mean, we’re leaving our children with a total stranger.”
Nate giggled a little. “Sweetie, every parent has to do it.”
“And look at how many abductions are on the news.” CD said.
“CD, our babies are not going to get abducted.” He tried to assure her. It didn’t work.
CD grinned. “Oh I know they aren’t, because I bought a nanny cam!”
“A what?” He asked, kind of scared to.
“Nanny cam. They have cameras put into Teddy Bears, so we can watch tapes later and find out what’s going on.”
Nate sighed. “You really think that is necessary?”
CD nodded. “These are our children. Of course it is necessary.”
“Alright. You can have those, but I had nothing to do with it.”
“Okay.” She said, kissing her children goodbye.

Throughout the whole day, CD kept calling her house to check on them.

“CD, you have called them 5 times already and it’s only noon. They’re fine.” He tried to tell her. CD, of course, didn’t really listen.
“What if the babysitter, fell and hit her head? You have to keep checking on these things Nate!” She said, holding the phone waiting for the babysitter to answer. “Oh my god!” She was getting scared. “No one is picking up the phone!” Just as she said that, the babysitter answered. She was feeding Angela, so was a little slow. Kate laughed at this and called CD into her office.

CD sat down. “Captain, you wanted to see me?”
“Yes. I wanted to talk to you about your kids. Nate tells me you had a hard time leaving them this morning.”
“I don’t know what to do Cap’n. I keep hoping they don’t get sick, or hurt. I worry about them.” She explained.
Kate smiled. “Well, the worrying is never going to shut off. Kids get sick all of the time. We just have to learn how to handle it. For now though, what do you think about bringing them into work a couple days a week?”
CD really would like that, but she was so afraid to be a burden. “Oh I couldn’t do that. I would be so distracted from my work.”
“Come on, everyone who has worked here, brought their kids in. It’s okay.”
CD smiled. “Thank you so much Captain! I’ll go tell Nate.” She ran out the door.

The night went on and Teddy called Magda’s house to talk to Jinny.

“Hey Jin.”

“Jinny, what’s wrong?”

The night went on and Teddy called Magda’s house to talk to Jinny.

“Hey Jin.”

“What? Why would I do that?”

“Nate isn’t this great! We get to take them with us tomorrow!” CD said while changing Angela’s diaper.

CD put Angela in her crib and sat next to Nate. “Yes we will. It’s just..they’re not going to be babies forever. I want to spend as much time with them as we can. When they’re teenagers, we’ll never be able to keep them home. Let’s enjoy it.” CD said kissinh his forehead.
Nate nodded. “I guess you’re right. I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be.”
Just then, all three babies started crying. CD and Nate just smiled at each other and went to them.

“Oh my god. No no no! It’s for our anniversary. I know she’s not happy about the move so I thought before she had the baby, I can take her on a nice trip to Hawaii.”
“Oh that explains it. She’s a mess.”
“I can imagine. Well I have a few more things to do here, then I will be home in the next week.”

No matter what CD and Nate did, nothing calmed her down. CD fed her, changed her, rocked her, played music, nothing worked. Nate just heard all the noise and decided to go see what was wrong.

“CD, what’s wrong with Angela?” He asked, rubbing his eyes.
CD shook her head. “I don’t know. I’ve been trying to calm her for the last two hours.”
Nate was starting to wake up. “Why didn’t you wake me sooner?”
“Because one of us needs to sleep.” She said still rocking Angela. “She is nearly 4 months old. She should be sleeping through the night by now, shouldn’t she?”
“Well why don’t I take Angie for a little bit and you go back to sleep.” He said taking her from CD’s arms.
CD shook her head again. “No, how can I sleep knowing my baby is crying?”
“By knowing she is with her daddy!” He said smirking.
CD laughed. “I’m not going to win this am I?”
“Nope. I don’t know why you keep trying.” He said laughing with her.
“Okay. Goodnight.” CD said walking back to bed.
Nate began to help Angela. “Goodnight.”

Magda and Jinny got to the hospital. Jinny was having bad pains in her stomach but not like she had with the other two. She had a feeling something was wrong. The doctor’s examined her and she needed to have a c-section. Magda was the only one there with her at the moment. They had to wait a little bit, while an OR opened up. The doctor’s determined she wasn’t in that much danger and could wait a little while.
Jinny, of course, was upset.

“I’m scared Mag. This is not how it was supposed to happen. I am supposed to be staying here, my husband is supposed to be with me. This is a mess.” She said still crying.
“I told you Teddy said he was on his way.” Magda was trying to cheer her up.
“He’s in New York Magda. He’ll never get here in time.” She said starting to get sad again. Just then, she heard screeching on the floors outside her room. She looked up and saw a very out of breath Teddy.
“AM I TOO LATE??” He shouted running to her room. Jinny smiled, never more happier to see him.

“I’m scared Mag. This is not how it was supposed to happen. I am supposed to be staying here, my husband is supposed to be with me. This is a mess.” She said still crying.
“I told you Teddy said he was on his way.” Magda was trying to cheer her up.
“He’s in New York Magda. He’ll never get here in time.” She said starting to get sad again. Just then, she heard screeching on the floors outside her room. She looked up and saw a very out of breath Teddy.
“AM I TOO LATE??” He shouted running to her room. Jinny smiled, never more happier to see him.
“You made it!” She screamed hugging him.
He was so happy he came in time. “I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”

3 hours later, everyone was sitting out in the waiting room when Jinny and Teddy’s baby was born. It was a girl. Jinny was still asleep from the anesthetic so Teddy brought her out for everyone to see.

“She’s so big Daddy!” Kelly said.
Teddy laughed. “She’s actually smaller than she was supposed to be.”
Kiera stepped in. “I don’t know how mommy would’ve carried her if she was bigger!”
They all laughed. “I’m just glad she’s healthy.” Kate added.
“Yes, we approve of her.” Teddy said smiling at his new baby girl. Kate’s cell phone starting ringing. It was just Nate calling to tell them congratulations. They couldn’t go because of the triplets.

Teddy brought the baby back into the nursery and waited for Jinny to wake up.
Jinny opened her eyes and saw Teddy. “Hey.”
“Hey baby.” Teddy said and kissed her.
“What happened?” She said not really familiar as to where she was.
Teddy smiled. “We have a baby girl.”
“Aw, a girl.” She smiled. “Can I see her?”
“You sure can. I’ll get her.” He came back a few minutes later. “Here she is.”
Jinny was getting teary. “She’s so beautiful.”
Teddy kissed Jinny on the forehead and sat next to her. “What should we name her?”
“I really like the name Maria.” She smiled.
He nodded. “Then Maria it is!”
"I'm so happy Teddy." She rocked her baby and smiled.
Teddy held them. "I am too Jin."

Throughout the day, people came by to see Jinny and Maria. Teddy of course stayed by her side. Finally everyone had come and gone and they were alone at last.
Jinny remembered about Teddy’s trip. She felt bad she never asked about it. “So how was the trip?”
Teddy laughed. “It was fine. They weren’t thrilled I had to leave a week early but they know these things happen. I am just sorry I wasn’t here. And that I helped make it happen.”
Jinny didn’t know what he was talking about. “I don’t understand. What did you have to do with Maria coming early?” She asked.
“I made you mad. I probably made you go into labor.” He said, pouting.
She smiled. “No, this little one made me go into labor. It was jut time for her to be born and look. She’s healthy and happy. That’s all that counts. And I am sorry I got mad at you. It’s just when I got that call, I didn’t think you’d want to stay married to a big, fat cow. I thought you would go to Hawaii and hook up with a stick figure girl.”
Teddy just laughed at that. “Why would I want to be married to a girl, anorexic probably, when I could be with the one woman I love. My soul mate. You Jinny. I can’t imagine my life without you.”
Jinny was ready to cry. “Well, we’ve got another month here. Will they make you leave go now since the baby came early?”
Teddy shook his head. “I don’t know. They might. I will call them.” Teddy said getting off the bed.
“Okay.” Jinny said simply while feeding her baby.
Teddy got a weird feeling. “Jinny, can I ask you a question with you being completely honest with me?” Jinny smiled. “You already did.” She laughed trying to lighten the mood. Teddy giggled but that’s it. “Tough room. Go ahead. I’ll be honest.” She said.
“Okay. Do you really want to go to New York?” Teddy asked just staring at Jinny.
Jinny thought for a second. “Teddy I told you before I want you to be happy. You kept up your end of the bargain and I want to keep mine. We stayed in San Francisco until the baby was born and I’m grateful for that. It meant a lot to me. Now yes living there is going to be hard for the first couple of weeks but we will get through it. We always do.” She said smiling. Teddy did as well. He can’t believe how wonderful his wife is.

CD and Nate took turns taking care of Angela. They took care of all the kids of course but Angela wouldn’t stop crying. They took her to the pediatrician who said she was fine. She just wanted attention. CD and Nate gave her all the attention they could but nothing worked.
CD was trying to rock her. “I don’t know what to do anymore!.”
Nate shook his head. “I don’t know either.” He handed CD a bottle.
“Why are all the Angela’s I know so fussy?”
Nate was confused. “What other Angela do you know?
CD giggled. “My old partner. She could be a little fussy at times.”
“Oh.” He just said and walked away but was soon stopped.
“Nate!” CD said in a whisper. “She’s asleep!”
Nate whispered. “She fell asleep with the bottle in her mouth!”
“Who cares, it’s quiet!” CD said carefully putting Angela in her bassinet.

When Angela FINALLY went to sleep, it was already 3am. By seven-thirty, they were all up, dressed, and ready to walk out the door.
CD couldn't stop yawning. All the wake ups from Angela had gotten to her. "Nate I am so tired. I can't do this anymore."
"She went to sleep last night. Maybe the no sleeping phase is finally over." Nate said optimistic.
"I hope so." They walked into the Division about a half hour later. Of course, the officers came in to see Nathan, Marie, and Angela. After 10 minutes of 'oo-ing and awe-ing', they started their work. Kate came out of her office to give out the cases.
"Nate, you're going to work with Magda for the week. With Jinny gone and CD needed to ride a desk for a little while, you and Magda are both without partners." Kate said re-reading the file.
Nate sighed but agreed. "Okay Captain." Magda and Nate weren't thrilled, but they dealt with it. Nate was no Jinny and Magda was no CD.

Jinny and Maria came home the next day and Teddy tried to contact his boss about New York. He finally did and they were on the phone for 30 minutes trying to negotiate. When they hung up with each other, Teddy went to talk to Jinny.

"Honey, I just got off of the phone with New York." He said sitting down on the bed next to Jinny.
Jinny got nervous. "And?"
Teddy sighed. "Well I couldn't lie. They knew the baby was coming, which is why I had to leave. They--" He was cut off by Jinny.
"Just spit it out." She said.
"We have to be there by next week." He said waiting for her reaction.
Jinny was disappointed. "Next week? That's..so soon. I mean, how will we get everything done?"
Teddy nodded. "I know. I've been on the phone trying to get out of it. There's no way I can, if I want to keep this job."
Jinny understood what he was saying. She just didn't want to leave everything and everyone so soon. New York was so far away, but she knew she had no choice. "Okay. We can do it by next week. How hard can it be?"
He smiled at her. He couldn't believe what an understanding woman he married. "Thank you Jin."
She just smiled. What else could she do.

Few hours later, she was getting Maria dressed warming and ready to go out.
"Where are you going?" Teddy asked seeing her dressed.
Jinny smiled. "I'm just going down to the station to pick up a few things. They want to see Maria again so I thought I'd bring her along."
He shook his head. "I don't know Jin. You just had surgery and just got out of the hospital."
"It was only a c-section. I'll be fine." She gave him a quick kiss. "Bye. I'll be back soon." With that, she walked out the door.

She drove to the station and walked in the the Division with the car seat in one arm. Of course, officers came crowding her to see Maria.
CD came up to her and Maria with Marie in her arms. "Hey Jin! Wow you look great!" She hugged her.
"Thanks, so do you." Jinny said looking at Marie. "Oh she's gotten so big."
CD smiled. "Tell me about it. Oh, this must be Maria."
Jinny picked her up out of her seat. "Yes, here she is."
"Wow look at all the hair already." She said smiling at the baby.
Jinny was curling Maria's hair with her fingers. "Yep! It just started going this way and I liked it. She'll have curly hair when she gets older. Don't know where she gets it from."
"And this baby blue eyes, oh Jin, she's gorgeous."
She kept smiling. "Thanks. Say CD, can you watch her for a minute. I have to go talk to the Cap'n about something."
CD nodded. "Sure no problem."

Jinny walked over to Kate's door and knocked on it. Kate gave the original motion 'come in' and Jinny did so. Kate was shocked to see her in so early, but that was Jinny for you.

"And what are you doing here so soon?" Kate said, without a hello.
Jinny glared. "Well hello to you too." Then she let out a chuckle.
Kate smiled. "Did you bring Maria with you?"
"Yes I did. I need to talk to you first though." She said seriously.
Kate nodded. "Shoot."
Jinny sat down in her usual seat. "Well Teddy talked to his boss today and I'm afraid we have to be in New York by next week."
Kate was stunned. "Next week??"
"Yeah. I just came to get a few of my things. We're going to be so busy packing the girls up and the apartment." She said, slowly getting emotional.
Kate walked over to her. "Ah, Jinny. I hate seeing you cry."
"I don't want to leave Captain. I don't want to leave everyone. Especially you." Jinny finally admitted.
Kate smiled inside at that. She always knew Jinny loved her, but she never said it before. "I don't want you to leave either. But hey, it's not like you'll be gone forever. You'll visit."
Jinny smiled a little. "Thanks Cap'n. Well I guess I should go get my things and get going."
Kate stood up. "Not until I see that baby!" They both laughed and went to the bullpen.

She went around 7am so she wouldn’t have her friends try to talk her out of leaving again. Of course, the Captain was there.

Kate- Hey Jin.
Jinny- Oh, hi. I wasn’t expecting you here this early.
Kate- Well I figured you’d be coming in. Need a hand?
Jinny- No thanks. I can do it.
Kate- Okay. Where’s Maria?
Jinny- She’s at my Dad’s house, I need both hands today and Teddy had to work.
Kate- You doing alright?
Jinny- *Broke down in tears* I love him, I really do. I’ve always felt I was lucky to find a man like Teddy and after what I’ve put him through, especially in the beginning of the relationship, I just owe him, you know?
Kate- I think you should talk to Teddy. If moving is making you this upset, you shouldn’t do it.
Jinny- Cap’n you don’t understand.
Kate- How good of a wife and mother can you be if you’re miserable about where you have been living?
Jinny- I know, I’ve asked myself all these questions, but I have to do this. This is a job that he wants, and I want him to be happy. I’ve got the kids. I’ll adjust.

Jinny left for the locker room and Kate just looked at her walk away sympathetically. Little did they know, someone was listening outside the felony division doors and heard everything. He/she ran out before anyone saw her/him. For the next 3 days, Teddy was very secretive, Jinny didn’t know why. She was so busy with Maria and the twins, she didn’t really care. The day finally came. It was the day they would leave San Francisco. She was very sad that day. The movers came and got all the stuff out of Jinny and Teddy’s apartment and were on the road. Jinny, Teddy, and the girls agreed to stop by one of Teddy’s friends’ house on the way there. Jinny pulled up and was so confused. She had no idea who this friend was or where she was.

“Teddy, what are we doing here?” She asked again.
Teddy sighed. “I told you, a friend of mine wants to say good-bye to me so I told him I would stop by. He’d love to meet all of you. Why don’t you guys come in, have a drink.”
“Yeah! Come on, it’ll be fun!” Kelly screamed.
“Shut up.” Kiera said.
Jinny turned around. “Don’t tell your sister to shut up. Now come on, we’ll only stay a few minutes, then we got to go.” She picked up Maria from her carrier and they walked in. It was very dark.
“Teddy, I don’t think anyone’s home.” She said, getting nervous.
Teddy grinned. “Hmmm, let’s see.” He raised his voice. “Is anyone home!?” The lights flicked on and everyone from the station yelled surprise! Jinny had a huge smile across her face.
“Teddy, guys, what is this?” She walked over to everyone.
Magda looked at Teddy. “You didn’t tell her anything?”
Jinny looked at Teddy suspiciously. “Tell me what?”
Teddy smiled. “Well, this isn’t exactly my friends house.”
“Oh, who’s house is it?” She asked.
“Yours. Ours. This is our home.” Teddy said with Kate standing next to him, about to cry.
Jinny was in shock. “What?”
“Well, I know how much you didn’t want to move, and I realized how stupid I was. Our lives are here, our children are here. Everything is here. Why would I give that up?” He said and put his arms around Jinny.
Jinny smiled. “What about your job?”
“I don’t care. All I care about is you.” Teddy said and kissed her.

So they all continued to have a party. Jinny was never so happy. She was crying and smiling at the same time. After the party and everyone left, Jinny, Teddy, Kelly, Kiera, and Maria toured their new house. After they put the kids to bed, Jinny and Teddy spent their first night in their new home.

Jinny couldn’t stop smiling. “I can’t believe you did this.” She playfully hit his arm. “And you kept it a secret from me1” She laughed.
“I wanted to surprise you.” He kissed her. “Were you surprised?”
“Are you kidding?” She laughed. “I love you so much.”
Teddy smiled. “I love you too.” As they were kissing, Maria started crying and they both got up to her room.
