hi everyone!
ok, I need you all to help me figure out the name of a song and the name of the band who does it....
It's a song from the 70's, I think, and I'm not a guru on 70's musc like I am with 80's music. hehe.

ok, the only lyrics I know for sure go:
"carry on my wayward son, there'll be peace when you are done, lay your weary head to rest, don't you cry no more..."

ohhhh I hear that song all the time, and all of a sudden I realized that I love it and I need it, but I can't get it because i don't know who it's by!
one of you must know who it's by... its a pretty popular song...

They were really big in the 70's & early 80's all over the US... now heard only on classic rock stations.

Don't mention Showtime right now! I'm mourning my loss of the Showtime/TMC package
because the local cable system (Adelphia... :rolleyes: ) is jacking up the prices ($85.00 + state sales tax).
I really loved watching the anime series Dirty Pair Flash on ShowtimeBeyond!
I guess it's a trip to the DVD section of FYE for me...

There are a couple parts of the state, up near Massachusetts, that are like farms and dirt roads, and a couple of houses every mile on a road, but yeah, most of the state is really populated.

Hey Krista, my cousin lives in CT. I've never been there. She also lived on a small island off the coast for a while. Can't remember the name, but it sounded really cool. I want to visit New England someday... at least you have colours there, unlike most of California. It's either green or brown, lol.

Sorry Ange. I couldn't resist tho. But cable companies are the devil. The only extra stuff we have are the Independent Film Channel, Bravo, and Sundance...because if I'm going to watch tv, there better be some good movies on, and most of the other channels are crap, so you can always count on the indies to save the day. At least they still have some artistic integrity unlike the studios...blaaaaahhh.

Here's to hoping you find your anime at the store!

Wow, how sad is that that I've never even been there, and I've lived here my whole life. I need to get to Block Island next summer. lol.
and yeah, we're lucky that we get that awesome foliage in the fall. The leaves are starting to change already. That's one reason why I love New England so much.
