View Full Version : Billy Bob Thornton on John Ritter Pavan 09-29-2003, 11:58 PM Very touching ... http://www.tcpalm.com/tcp/movies/article/0,1651,TCP_1162_2298799,00.html Auntie 03-08-2005, 11:56 AM Very touching ... http://www.tcpalm.com/tcp/movies/article/0,1651,TCP_1162_2298799,00.html The one thing that I didn't quite understand was when they did a special on John Ritter, and Mr. Thorton spoke about the movie sling blade, what did he mean exactly when he said, that John couldn't keep it together when doing the lunch room scene. Did he mean that he found it hard to do it? Pavan 03-08-2005, 12:56 PM The one thing that I didn't quite understand was when they did a special on John Ritter, and Mr. Thorton spoke about the movie sling blade, what did he mean exactly when he said, that John couldn't keep it together when doing the lunch room scene. Mr. Television 03-09-2005, 07:49 PM It doesn't show up for me. What does Billy Bob say? Yea it says I have to sign up. Kristen J. 03-16-2005, 06:32 PM I signed up and still. . .nothing showed up. Can some who has seen it post what he says please?? Auntie 03-19-2005, 09:13 PM He meant that they both couldn't stop laughing. I was under the impression that he meant that John really didn't feel comfortable doing the scene. Because when Billy Bob Thorton spoke about it,( the movie scene) he didn't seem to be laughing about it. Auntie 04-05-2005, 09:10 AM I was under the impression that he meant that John really didn't feel comfortable doing the scene. Because when Billy Bob Thorton spoke about it,( the movie scene) he didn't seem to be laughing about it. IMO I don't think that 'acting' like a homosexual is nothing to laugh about, unless your talking about 'Three's Company'. In 'Three's Company' we all know that he was straight, just PRETENDING to be a homosexual just so he could live with the girls. But in 'Sling Blade' he protrayed himself as a 'REAL' homosexual. Watching that movie for the first time gave me chills. That is one movie of his I won't be watching again anytime too soon. ohno: davidmiller58 11-12-2013, 05:39 AM Hi Man, The link you provide there is not working so could please put up a fresh one here. |
