How come he was living there? Didn't he have any job skills? What was his major in college? Why did Thelma marry him? She was doing bad by herself! He didn't get on his feet until the last episode!! Brian Damage 09-24-2003, 08:00 PM I hated the Keith character. I liked the episode where he yells at Thelma and Michael gets in Keith's face and corrects him. laneyday 09-25-2003, 07:27 PM I couldn't stand him. Moonlight Lady 10-29-2003, 01:52 PM He kinda took up space. Not really all that great. bigfan 11-05-2003, 11:47 PM Keith should have been bounced out on that leg from his first show. That really didn't make any since to me.And especially the Wedding it really made me angry how he treated JJ afterwards.Keith just had no business there on the show anyway.Especially after JJ had almost given his arm and leg paying for that God forsaken wedding. He acted like a real jerk. I totally agree! The apartment was already cramped as hell and Keith and Thelma decide to live in her bedroom? Get Real. Where were his parents and didnt he get a degree from college? The episodes with Keith were the hardest to watch because they made no sense what so ever. Thelma would have been better off with Ebe' the African Prince. AquaHarmony 11-10-2003, 03:03 PM Another thing that irked the hell out of me about him, was that he was always trying to be funny, but WAS NOT! Always trying to impersonate people and get laughs. He served no purpose. You would think they would have not let Thelma marry such a zero! Lady T 11-12-2003, 01:44 AM Thelma was so pretty!; why did she marry this dork?..I could not stand him...the girl could had her pick of a super fine brother, if she wanted to...:) Mr. Television 11-12-2003, 01:47 AM He was the only cast member I did not like. Lady T 11-12-2003, 01:52 AM I think that should had casted Clifton Davis, (That's my Mama) as Thelma's husband..I saw an episode of the Love Boat where these two actors played husband and wife and they were perfect for each other.... He would have been a good choice. Keith just wasn't funny and was kind of dull. Lady T 11-12-2003, 02:01 AM Originally posted by mr roper He would have been a good choice. Jrnygrl 12-30-2003, 01:05 AM I agree with everyone about Keith. He was horrible. If they were going to have Thelma get married, the writers should have brought back Larry. Remember him, he had all these plans about opening his own business and everything, Keith was just a loser. The writer really missed the boat on this one. I always thought that the other actors were uncomfortable with him also. Keith's parents died when he was young. thelma explains that when florida comes home and meets keith for the first time CCRYDER1968 05-07-2004, 08:14 AM Still, though,he could've/should've stayed in school on loans and grants(thats how I did it)and he and Thelma coulda got a little apt on or around campus. They both could go to school and work part time, but I guess they rather be in that depressing little apartment with one bathroom and feel sorry for himself.:D LoganJackson 05-09-2004, 02:13 AM Originally posted by CCRYDER1968 Still, though,he could've/should've stayed in school on loans and grants(thats how I did it)and he and Thelma coulda got a little apt on or around campus. They both could go to school and work part time, but I guess they rather be in that depressing little apartment with one bathroom and feel sorry for himself.:D they all needed to pitch in whatever money they had to make ends meet and pay off the rent and the bills and so forth. but u have to remember, this was all works of fiction. does it have to make sense?
