View Full Version : Inconsistencies Brian Damage 09-18-2003, 07:39 PM Are there any? TJL 09-18-2003, 08:03 PM George did mention in an early episode he had a brother, who was never mentioned again. Also, that damn bike hanging in Jerry's hall changed color every once in a while. Of course, I could be wrong about the second one, I do drink from time to time. ;) sinatrastar 09-18-2003, 09:00 PM Yes I remember Elaine also mentioning a sibling which they really never discussed, although I dont know if it is an inconsistency but odd they never interacted with their family. It always seemed that the four were only childs. In the dead Parrot episode Kramer seems to be clueless that his hiding the key in the birds' dish had anything to do with his death but after Jerry says you killed Fredo Kramer immediately admits to it without appearing to have just realized it. jon123 09-19-2003, 11:28 PM Originally posted by TJL George did mention in an early episode he had a brother, who was never mentioned again. Also, that damn bike hanging in Jerry's hall changed color every once in a while. Of course, I could be wrong about the second one, I do drink from time to time. ;) I think George's brother would have made a good episode, he could have been the brother who did everything right and also could have competed with him for his parents favor as he did with Lloyd Braun. Also, in an early episode Kramer said that he took baths, but in a later episode we discover that Kramer takes one hour showers. Also, in the episode where George takes off his shirt while in the "office", George made it seem like he always had this habit, if so, Jerry surely would have noticed it before. In other episodes, it does not appear like George is taking off his shirt while doing his business. Brian Damage 09-20-2003, 06:56 PM I just thought of another one. In one episode Kramer admits to Jerry that he sub-let his apartment from a guy named Paul Buchman(a character from the show Mad About You) In a later episode Susan tells George to come to bed because she taped an episode of Mad About You! TJL 09-20-2003, 07:04 PM Originally posted by Brian Damage I just thought of another one. In one episode Kramer admits to Jerry that he sub-let his apartment from a guy named Paul Buchman(a character from the show Mad About You) In a later episode Susan tells George to come to bed because she taped an episode of Mad About You! That's a good one. Brian Damage 09-20-2003, 07:06 PM thanks sinatrastar 09-20-2003, 07:34 PM See the Kramer character inconsistencies thread below for some more. evermore 09-22-2003, 06:53 AM In the pilot episode, Jerry's parents come to spend the night and it is mentioned that Jerry lives in a studio apartment, not a one bedroom, so his parents are actually sleeping in the living room, where Jerry would usually sleep. There was no bedroom. Also, another actor played Jerry's father. sinatrastar 09-22-2003, 11:41 AM Yes - I remember that now, Jerry must have added a bedroom on at some point. Good spot Ever. GotNoGreen Lantern 09-23-2003, 04:17 AM Originally posted by TJL Also, that damn bike hanging in Jerry's hall changed color every once in a while. He can buy a new bike every few years, can't he? In an early episode where Jerry and Elaine go to Florida (the one where Jerry goes scuba diving and Elaine takes too many painkillers), they go to a banquet honoring Jerry's dad as the outgoing president of the condo association. Later, in The Cadillac, Morty is president again. Boofish 09-23-2003, 07:30 PM Ever notice when Jerry is in his hallway, the wall to the left of his door is flat, but when you go into his apartment, his kitchen is indented into the wall. If Jerry's kitchen is indented then the wall it shares, in the hallway, should be 'out-dented', not flat. wickthayer 09-23-2003, 07:48 PM you folks are sharp MillenniumMan831 09-23-2003, 10:11 PM George once claimed he only got to say, "I love you" to a dog, but in an early episode he admitted he said, "I love you," to Marlene. sinatrastar 09-25-2003, 12:16 PM Good catch. wickthayer 09-28-2003, 10:04 PM What about when cousin Jeffrey was said to be getting the pony lady's apartment but when Jerry went to see him I think it was a different apartment. wickthayer 09-29-2003, 04:16 PM As from another post, Jerry's enemy in the maroon golf at the Puerto Rican parade was earlier shown walking out of a movie with Jerry chatting to him while George was stuck with Susan. wickthayer 09-30-2003, 10:26 PM Jerry also was said to have a sister that was never mentioned other than in an early episode. sinatrastar 10-01-2003, 11:25 PM Uncle Leo was married early on but then he appears without a wife. Although I guess she could have died or something. Brian Damage 10-02-2003, 08:26 PM LOL I was just about to post that. wickthayer 10-02-2003, 08:58 PM I am not sure they said they were married, did they? Brian Damage 10-03-2003, 09:53 AM I guess we just assumed. wickthayer 10-03-2003, 10:17 AM I think that is a safe assumption. It reminds me of an Odd Couple episode though. Brian Damage 10-03-2003, 10:21 AM If you Assume, you make an Ass out of U and me. wickthayer 10-03-2003, 11:48 AM Have you seen that episode? Brian Damage 10-03-2003, 02:52 PM It's one of my favorites. MillenniumMan831 10-10-2003, 07:22 PM How about Porter, the kid from the All My Children taping? I'm pretty sure he was the little boy in the hospital. I guess he could have still played 'Porter', but he should have yelled and screamed that the goof from work was barging into his room. And of course, as sinatrastar pointed out, the Nazi chick seemingly isn't into apple pie. KnightFalls 10-10-2003, 10:24 PM I never noticed the kid being the same. kadeliah 10-10-2003, 10:35 PM i dunno if they were the same either, it seems like all the kids on that show were blonde... except for the one that thought kramer was frankenstein  sinatrastar 10-10-2003, 11:13 PM I never noticed that. Like a little Aryan convention or something. Yah - that Kramenstein kid was like a red head I think. Dutabi84 10-11-2003, 01:57 AM In an early episode, Kramer is with George and Jerry at his buddy who is a "holistic healer." The holistic healer tells George to take cold showers, and Kramer says, "I'm off warm showers" or somthing like that. In a later episode, Kramer is taking a shower, with the garbage disposal, and you can see steam coming off the water. Also the one where he gets a "black market shower head". BubbleBoy 10-11-2003, 01:33 PM I guess he lost faith in the Healer's advice :D |
