Well here's the story I've been working on,Two characters
in the story Ryan Morris and Annabelle Morris are used
by permission from Ryan T. Morris,no challenge to ownership
is intended,Thanks to Ryan T.Morris on that behalf,
Alright,So here it begins .

It was a dark cold September night in The Bronx as Jamie
sat up in her room doing her homework,she had do it this time
on her own as her father Rick was working late and her mother
Jo was in bed,Jo had a bad cold and so far she wasn't getting
any better,She had taken some cough syrup before bed in order
to sleep,but it did no good ,and she couldn't breathe so
she lay in bed awake all night,Jamie heard her mother's violent
coughs from the bedroom next and gotten up from her bed,she
put her books away and decided to check on her mother.

''Mom are you okay?''Jamie asked her mother in a tired voice,It
was ten thirty and way past her bed time,''I'm fine baby'' Jo said
in a hoarse voice,''Mom,maybe Dad's right maybe you should
see a doctor,After all you have eaten in three days,all you wanted
is sleep and you also threw up about six times last night and
your cough sounds so awful. ''Jamie stated tiredly.
''I can't breathe,and this cough is killing me,Oh gosh I'm also
burning up!''Jo said hoarsely,''I can go get the thermometer so
we can check your temperature.'' Jamie said and she ran into the
bathroom to retrieve it out of the medicine cabinet,She went back
into the bedroom and put the thermometer slowly in Jo's mother,
she took it it out and read 100 F,'
'You have a fever Mom,it says
one hundred on this thermometer,I'm staying up with you until
Dad gets home and I won't go to school tomorrow,instead I'll
stay here with you while Dad goes to work ok?Jamie stated,
''But Jamie you have to go to school,It's just September and
you'll get to far behind in your school work.''Jo said and started
to cough,''I know mom but you always miss work when I'm sick
so someone has to stay here and watch over you now lie down
and try to get some rest'',Jo smiled at her daughter and so drifted
off to sleep,Jamie shut the bedroom door and went back into her
room she put on her pajamas and started to go to bed,But she
couldn't sleep she went into the living and turned on tbe TV.
( TV Announcer)
And now back to our show.

It was midnight when Rick got home,he was surprised to the
the living room light on,he opened the door and saw Jamie sitting
on the brown recliner that Jo's father Charlie had given him for
Christmas three years ago.''Should you be in bed young lady?''
Rick asked her.,''Dad I can't sleep,mom's getting worse,she can hardly talk,she throws up every five minutes and she can't breathe,she barely fell asleep an hour ago,I don't think I'll go
to school tomorrow so I can stay here and watch her,Jamie said.
''
Alright be careful when you help give your mom her medicine,
and make sure she gets plenty of rest and fluids ok.Rick advised
her,'
'I will dad,goodnight.''Jamie said,''Goodnight pumpkin and
get plenty of rest,you know your mother's a handful wheb she's
not feeling well.Rick said,''I know,I will,goodnight,'' Jamie yawned
closed the bedroom door,she could hear him talking to her mother
in the other room,''So how are you feeling baby.'' Rick asked softly
as not to irritate Jo,''
God,I feel horrible,this cough syrup is not working and I can't breathe,I slept for awhile but I keep having
to run to the bathroom because my stomach feels bad,I haven't
go the strength to move,I can't sallow so I avoid eating and drinking '' Jo said in a barely audible tone,''Well listen you'te not
going to talk anymore,from now on you just nod your head when
you need something you just signal to me and I'll get for you,
but for now just close your eyes and get try to get some rest,
Jo nodded at him and shut her eyes,Rick looked at his wife with
tears in his eyes and said a quick prayer.

''God there a lot things that I have that are great in my life,
my parents,my daughter,my family,but most importanly my wife,
I really love Jo,she means alot to me,Do me a favor God and
please her get well,I don't even what she has,just please heal
her and make herself again,Amen.
He then shut off the light and climed into bed.

Aboloutly Brilliant! I can't wait to read more.

Morning soon came and Rick awoke early in order to get Jamie
up,They both ate some Corn Flakes for breakfast,Rick once
again ensured to his daughter to be safe around her mother
and to make sure to get her make-up work from school, Jamie
nodded yes and shut the door as her father left,She then went
to into her parent's bedroom to check on her mother,Jo was
still weezing from her cough and her forehead was hotter than
ever,''Mom!,you're burning up again!''Jamie cried as she ran
to retrieve the thermometer once again,''Oh great just what I needed a teenager hollering at me when I'm ill.'' Jo thought to
herself,Jamie ran back into the bedroom and placed the thermometer under her mother's tongue and waited patiently.

She took the thermometer out of Jo's mouth,It read 102 F,''It's
102 F!,You need a cold cloth,I'll be right back!.'' Jamie said and
she ran into the bathroom,she grabbed a white washcloth out
of the linen closet to soak in the sink in cold water,After that
she rang some of the water of the cloth and went to place
on Jo's forehead,''There you should feel better,you also need
fluids so I'll get you some orange juice,you just stay and got
some rest and leave everything to me.'' Jamie said,Jo smiled
at her daughter as she shut her eyes once again,Jamie went
into the kitchen and poured orange juice into a small glass,she
then placed it on top of the small nightstand that was near her
parent's bed and right next to the door,Jo was asleep on the
bed,She was shivering from bad chills,but Jamie didn't cover
to avoid Jo's temperature from rising anymore,She knew this
was dangerous and the fact that people can die from it.''

It was fine school day in Peekskill,New York,Tisha was excited
about her new baby brother,Dorothy had been dating a guy
named Deon Williams for four years and she just had a baby boy,
they decided to name him Deon Isaiah Williams,

but they called him by his middle name,Isaiah was a happy baby
always smiling when ever his parents or his big sister smiled at him,Back at home
Dorothy was watching a movie and taking
care of Isaiah,He hardly ever cried except if he was hot,cold,
hungry or if his diapers were soiled,Dorothy had decided it
would be awhile before she returned to work again,so Deon
decided it was best to get two jobs in order to support his family,

Dorothy's mind wandered quickly and she had a knot in her
stomach,suddenly she began to think about Jo,She knew
something was wrong,She had never thought of Jo like this
before,She hope she was ok,She decided she would call Natalie
after giving Isaiah a bath and putting him to sleep that evening.

Dorothy bathed her son and laid him down to sleep in his
crib.After that she went into the living room picked up the
telephone and dialed Natalie's number,Natalie was at home
typing out another book,she decided to make this a love story,
She had been typing since early morning but was the only free
time she got away from her six year old son Thomas,Thomas
was in kindergarten this year and he was curious little boy,always
asking Natalie questions about everything,
Natalie loved her son
very much.She just wished she and Harper did not call it off,They
were to marry in early 1997,but Harper broke the marriage when
Natalie told him in early January that she was pregnant,Harper
was there for Natalie when Thomas was born,but he suddenly
decided he could not manage a wife and son on his salary.

The phone rang just Natalie finished out another chapter on
her story.''Hello?''Natalie responded when she picked up the reciever,''Hi Nat,this is Dorothy.''Dorothy answered back.''Listen
I've been thinking alot about Jo for some reason.''I have a feeling
that something's wrong,has Blair called you lately?'' Dorothy
asked in a panicky voice.''No but I'm sure Jo's ok,maybe she's
ill or something,I mean surely if she was involved in something
serious Rick would called by now''. ''Maybe you're right,oh well
if anything comes up please call to let me know,I gotta go,Tisha's
almost home from school''. ''Ok,same here Thomas almost out
from school too and I have to go to pick him up.''Ok bye Nat''
Dorothy said,''Bye.''Natalie responded and hung up the phone.''

Blair Warner sat in her living room going over paperwork,She
pretty busy considering it was her fifteenth year as the Eastland
Headmistress,She enjoyed,but there was something in her
live missing,since the passing of her mother Monica Warner in
1989,She had not been herself,she married Tad Warner and became Blair Warner-Warner,but had no children,Blair feared
that if she had children that she would curse herself to an early
death,Everyone loved and missed Mrs.Warner,
Her funeral was
attended by Blair,Jo,Rick,Dorothy,Natalie,Harper and Mrs.G,Blair's
father David Warner did not attend,however he did visit Blair the
evening before and they went to the funeral home together,Blair
thought alot about Jo lately,It was three years ago when they got
in a big fight over how Bailey shall be raised,Bailey was eighteen
now and soon would start college,Blair felt that her mother gone,
she had a responsibility to look after her younger sister,still to everyone's surprise Bailey was a complete opposite,Always having wild hairdos,too much makeup,jewelry and tight clothes,

Jo had told Blair to leave her sister alone and to get a life,
Blair had gotten so angry,she screamed kiss off Jo,and went
upstairs to her bedroom where she remained in for ten days,
Now she sensed something was wrong with Jo,Jo had not called
her since,usually after fight she and Jo would forgive and forget,
She suddenly felt very woozy and dropped down her paperwork,
she ran to the downstairs bathroom where she threw up.

Ok,guys,I'll go ahead and post more since I'm not busy.

Back in the Bronx,Jo seemed to be getting worse by every
minute,She refused to eat anything and all she wanted to
do is sleep.
It was seven o'clock when Rick came home,he chose
to eat dinner at the apartment tonight,Jamie was watching
TV and told her father that they would have to eat sandwiches
tonight since her mother was sick,Rick obliged,He made two
bologna sandwiches and then opened a can of soup,He decided
to make Jo something too.
He was getting about her not eating,
Jo still complained of a bad sore throat,she was also still congested,but he decided he would try to at least get her
to eat,Rick and Jamie sat the kitchen table and ate rather
quickly,While they were eating Rick asked her how the day went.
''Well mom still ran a high fever today,so I put a cold cloth on head
and gave her some orange juice,she didn't drink it though,and
I didn't give her medicine because I thought I would do it wrong.
''That's ok pumpkin Rick said,''But tomorrow if your mother does
not getting any better I'm taking her to see the doctor.

''Daddy,is mom is gonna be ok?Jamie said and then she started
cry,''Oh,pumpkin,I promise you your mother will be ok,she's tough,
so I know she pull herself to fight in order to get well.Rick said.
''I hope so Daddy,said Jamie as she was still crying,Rick got up
from his chair and gave his daughter a tight hug,Rick then
took the heated soup out of a saucepan on the stove,put in
a bowl on a tray and took to Jo,she was still asleep,he did
not want to disturb her so he put the tray on the nightstand
beside their bed,that way if she woke up he could try to encourage her to eat something,he sat on their beside her
and started to sob softly so as not to awake his wife.

Jo woke up two hours later to find Rick sitting at the foot of
their bed,Rick looked at her smiled,But Jo rolled her eyes at him,
and put her left hand across her forehand letting know she
was not in the mood for anything.''Hey,how are you feeling?Rick
asked her in a soft tone,''Jo shook her head to indicate that she
still feel too good.''
Well now that you're up you can try to at least
eat something,I made you some soup.',Jo looked over at the
tray and shook her head in refusal.''Come on now,Jo you have
to eat something,you're never to get well until you do,Besides
you can't yell at me because as already just about gone,So
please eat the soup.''he demanded,Jo again nodded in disagreement.''Ok I tell you what I'm not leaving this room
until you do,and you better hurry because I have to be back
at work in a hour?Rick said in a strict tone.,Jo then crossed
her arms and scowled at him.''Fine,have it your way you don't
want to eat,you can just go back to sleep!,I'm done fighting
with you,but let me tell you something now,I know how much
you hate going to doctors,but I have had enough of your attitude,
If it's going to take a doctor to control your anger and tell you
to you get well then that's where you'd headed tomorrow!,end
of story!,you hear.Rick said and stormed out of the room,Jo tried
to stop him,but it was too late he went into the living room and
out the door slamming it in anger,She sat up in bed sobbing.

Jo thought about all of what Rick had said,It was true she hated
going to doctors,especially the one's in The Bronx it seems like it
always took them a whole year to make a correct diagnosis,but
over the years the local clinics had hired new staff members that
worked in a very quick intelligent manner,the last time Jo had
argued with a doctor was back in 1995 when Jamie had strep
throat and misdiagnosed with the mumps,Jo got up slowly from
her bed.
She was in great agony from the strong muscle aches
she had.She touched her forehead it was not as hot as it was
before.''Ah relieve finally she said to herself and went into the
bathroom.Jo then decided to take more medicine so she opened
a bottle of Cough-Gone,a strong dark motor-oil like looking cough
syrup she took a quick swallow and start to cough more.
''Geez,I could've used some of this stuff as lubricant on my bike
then.''she thought to herself,She then went back to bed walking
very slowly,she lie there awake because she had slept for so long.
Suddenly Jo began to think about the girls and the reunion
that they had this past summer,This was the second reunion
for the other three,the first one for Jo,She had a great time
reminiscing with the girls and Mrs.Garrett,Then a small picture
frame on their stand caught her eye.It was the picture that
they had taken out on the front lawn of the old house in Peekskill,
they all looked so happy.''So much for happiness,I've got nothing
to live for now.''J
o thought,I've constatly fought everything in
my life,my parents,their divorce,leaving public school,high school
graduation,Blair,my jobs,Rick,Jamie,and now this a cold that I
cannot seem to gid rid of,I must be crazy talking to myself but
who else would care to listen to my problems.she said,''Oh
well I can only think of one person,that's dad.''Good ol Pops,
we've been through it all,he's never let me down,What am I saying? I must going out of my mind I mean I haven't called
him Pops since I was still over at Langely,Oh well I'll just here
and get some more rest before Ricks come at least for now.''

Hi Everyone!,Listen I've been busy lately and I had a big weekend,so I'll post by tomorrow night ok?

Ok,here's a little more.
The next morning Rick awoke early and called the local clinic to
setup a doctor's appointment,He then woke up Jo and told
he was taking her to see the doctor,despite any objects,
Jo opened her mouth to say something but then suddenly
remembered she had no voice,And they both put on their
coats and headed out the front door,Rick had told Jamie
to walk to school that morning because the only option.

was a nine o'clock appointment so he could drive her to school.
The doctor's office was tiny and full of coughing and sneezing
patients,many of them who were children,One small boy who
was playing with blocks walked over to Jo,''Hi'' said the boy as
he looked at her,She waved at him pointing to her throat that
she couldn't talk at the moment.''Eric,come here honey the boy's
mother called,''Eric we don't talk to strangers.''she said scolding
him. Rick restrained her by telling her it was all right,She turned
away carrying her son to return to her seat.
Suddenly a nurse opened a door.''Jo Bonner '' she called.
Rick and Jo both stood the doctor may see you now.
They both followed the nurse to a tiny cold room.

''Dr.Mark Anderson will be with you momentarly.''the nurse said.
''Thank you'' Rick replied as they both sat down,He in a small
chair,and Jo on a sea green exam table covered white paper.
A few minutes later the door opened and a tall think dark-haired
man with eye glasses entered.''Jo Bonner?''Yes.'' Jo replied
in a barely audible tone.''Hi I'm Dr.Mark Anderson.'' he said extending his hand,they both shook hands and walked over
the exam table.''Ok,Jo what's the problem.'' She pointed to
arms and legs to indicate that her joints hurt.''Ok I see body
aches,Anything else such as chills,nausea,diarrhea,vomiting
or coughing.''Well doc,she has been coughing alot,some vomiting
of phelgm,and she has had no appetite so far.''Rick answered.
''Ok,we let's have a listen to your lungs.see what we can find.
He placed the stethoscope on her lungs,it sounded as if an ocean
was inside Jo's body.''Bingo,I think we've got pneumonia as the
case,Jo take this very seriously,it does require hospitalization.''
Jo looked over at Rick in a frightened manner,''Hey it's alright,he
said as he walked over to her,''I know you're scared but this
is one step closer to getting better,''Doc,may I have a moment
alone please?.''Sure.''Dr.Anderson replied and the left the room.
Jo then started to cry,''Hey,it's gonna be alright,he said as he
hugged her,I'm scared too and so is Jamie,but you've gotta
do this,I'll watch over her for you,and she'll come visit you
everday after school,as for me I'll have to see if I can get some time off from work,but believe me you're gonna be okay.''

Hey,I'll post Monday night,right now I'm heading off to bed,
cuz I got an eye doctor appointment tomorrow!

Guys,I decided to post tonight,I didn't last night because
my eye doctor dilated my eyes,so I rested them for awhile last
night,but enough of that,Here's more.

''There was a chilling wind in the air as Rick and Jo left the clinic
and went home for some things before he drove her down to
St.James Medical Center,One the best hospitals in the Bronx,
they walked in and he admitted Jo in at the front desk, Some
doctors came in and took her upstairs to the R.I.C.U. unit on the
second floor,Rick stayed downstairs in the main lobby,He went
a nearby telephone to phone Jamie's school.Jamie was in math
class at the time when the principal announced from the intercom
that she needed to go the office concering a family emergency.

Her heart sank at that moment,''Oh no!,Mom!.'' she mumbled
to herself as she walked the long hallway to the stairs that led
down to the principal's office,She took the phone from Mrs.Walker
the school secretary.''Hello?,Dad!,where are you?'' ''Jamie,listen
to me carefully baby, your mom's been sent to the hospital with pneumonia,I got some of her belongings and a few extra blankets
already packed in the car,I will pick you up from school right now.,So get your books ready,you can call the school later
for any missed work for the rest of the week .''
''Dad,is mom ok?''said Jamie trying not to cry.''Yes sweetie,she's
ok,she's still coughing pretty bad,and some doctors came to take
her to I.C.U.unit upstairs,There some things you need to know
about visiting her now,I explain the rules to you in the car.''Ok.''
she said and hung the phone,She then signed out of school and
grabbed her books,She waited outside despite the chilling temperatures and drizzle,Luckily she wore a big blue winter coat.
Rick drove up the sidewalk of the school and Jamie hopped into
the passenger's seat of the car,''Well off we go to the hospital,
and here's the rules to I.C.U.,listen carefully he said.
1.No visitors under age 12 will be allowed at all times.
2.Patients are allowed only two vusitors at a time,Immediate
family only!,Due to constant observation from doctors and nurses.
3.No cellphones,noisemakers,loud talking will be allowed.
4.You may only see the patient during visiting hours only.

''Ok,so that means I can only see Mom after school huh?''she
said.''Yes,but tomorrow you will miss school,so you can visit her
more often,tomorrow morning I'll notify Mrs.Garrett and the girls,
so they can and comfort us in our time of need.''
''Thank you Daddy,''I love you.''Jamie said and started to cry.
''Oh honey,I love to baby.'' he said and then hugged her.''

Ok here's a little more...
Rick and Jamie went up to the R.I.C.U. waiting room upstairs,
It was calm and quiet,and the was only one medium-sized
woman sitting down reading a magazine,They both sat down
and waited,After a while Jamie got thirsty so Ricky decided
they could go the cafeteria for a soda.
They headed downstairs
to the cafeteria,This hospital's cafeteria surprised them,it had
small express style versions of Burger King,Pizza Hut,Taco Bell
and for the healthy conscious ''Smart Heart Healthy Foods'',They
decided to wait to later to eat so they went to the Burger King
for their soda,Rick got a Pepsi and Jamie a Mountain Dew,they
sat a McDonald's style table,you know the one's that consist of
booth type seat and small rotating chairs hooked to the table on
the other end,They both sat in silence sipping their drinks.

Afterwards they headed back to the waiting room,they
sat back down,Rick then got up and went to the phone,he rummaged through the address book that he had kept for
frequent use,He dialed the Polniaczek's number,the phone
rang,Rose Polniaczek had the day off from work that day.
''Hello?''she said into the phone,''Hello Mrs.Polniaczek,this
is Rick,Jo's husband.''Oh,hello Rick how are you.''she said
a kind voice,''I'm fine,but the reason I called is that Jo is
in the hospital right with pneumonia''he said in a nervous voice.
''Oh my god!.is she okay?''Rose stated in a shaky voice.
''Yes but the doctors are running some tests to see if it is not
strenous pneumonia,the B type that enters the bloodstream,
right now she has had a violent cough,severe chills and body
aches,and troubling breathing,she's in the R.I.C.U.unit on the
second floor at St.James hospital,I have Jamie with me and
we're in the waiting.please notify your husband,and anyone
else,we'll be waiting here'' he said nervously.

''Ok I will and I'll be as soon as I can'' she said.They both
said goodbye and hung up quickly.Rick hung up the phone
and return to his seat and waited patiently with his daughter.

Hi guys!,Sorry I've not posted lately,I've been overcoming
a bad stomachache,Anyway here's more.
Rose called Charlie at work with the news.Mr.Polniaczek was
just as shocked with the news just as she was,They both
decided to drive to hospital together,The hurriedly left for
St.James Medical Center.The parking was very crowded,but
they managed to park in Section D just few lots away from
the medical employees vehicles,They both rushed inside,it
was still very frigid outside with the temperature being 31 degrees but that didn't seem to matter as much as Jo did.
Rose walked up to the information desk and talked the receptionist Sandra Lopez,Mrs.Lopez was very kind and quickly
responded second floor,R.I.C.U unit #221-B,Rose thanked the
kind woman and smiled as her and Charlie rushed to find
an elevator.When they arrived at the second floor waiting
room they found Jamie and Rick sitting down waiting,Jamie
was dozing off so Rick told her to try to take a nap,but she remained awake to speak with her grandparents.
''How is she?''Rose said with look of fear in her eyes.'She's alright
at the moment,but right the doctors are running some test.
''Well we got here as soon as we could.''Charlie answered back
''Have you called anyone else?''Rick asked nervously.
''Not yet but we plan to call Edna and the girls as we get
another update.,We just don't their numbers''.Rose said
''Not to worry I've got them all here with me.''Rick replied.
''Oh Rick thank goodness,Jo will really appericate this.''
''I know.''he said and hugged her as she began to sob.

Okay guys,sorry I've been very busy lately,but here's more.

The Polniaczeks sat down along with Rick and Jamie and waited
for any updates on Jo's condition,Rick had only wanted to phone
Mr.Polniaczek but since Jo's parents had been divorced since
she was little he'll felt she'd be comfortable knowing that they
were they were there for her in her time of need.Suddenly Dr.Anderson came in ''Bonner?'' he asked holding clipboard
''Yes?'' Rick replied.''Mr.Bonner we are very concered about
your wife's condition she was coughing more violently as I
was leaving the I.C.U. unit.''Will she be okay at least?Charlie
asked in a worried tone.''May I ask who you are?''Dr. Anderson
questioned with a concered look.

the reciever.He dialed the number and it began to ring.
Soon someone answered.''Hello a male voice answered,
Andrew Moffett speaking.''Hi Andy this is Rick.''
''Rick how are you doing man!.''Just fine,listen Andy is Mrs.Garrett
there?''.''Not at the moment she went to the store with mom,they
needed some stuff.''Okay,here's the reason I'm calling Jo is
in the hospital with pneumonia and she's not doing too good,
it isn't too serious but we need to keep in touch,she's in the
R.I.C.U.unit at St.James Medical Center here in the Bronx.''
''Ok gotcha.''I got to go to friend's house,but I'll write this down.''
''Thank you,one more thing the number is 526-3019.''Rick said
''Okay thanks Andy said and hung up the phone.''
He wrote a short note before heading out the door.

Mom,Aunt Edna,
Rick called and he said Jo's in the hospital,
she has nemonia,Call him at 526-3019.
I will be home soon.

When Mrs.Garrett and Beverly Ann returned ,they saw the
note and looked at each other in a frightened manner.

on Jo's condition and I'll go over to Jeremy's house to notify
Andy,I know's he's been wanting to his old friends from high school again,but seems like not a such good time to do so.''
Beverly Anne said as she grabbed her keys and headed out.''
Mrs.Garrett picked the phone and dialed the hospital number.
Rick jumped at the phone's first ring and ran to answer it.
''Hello?,Mrs.Garrett.oh thank goodness it's you'' he said.
''Yes Rick,how's Jo condition?'' Mrs Garrett questioned.
''Well at the moment she's doing fine,she's still in I.C.U.
but so no doctors have notified us yet.''So here I am
in the waiting room with Charlie,Rose,and of course Jamie.''
''Is Jamie going to school?'' Mrs. Garrett asked.
''Well no I pulled her out for a few days.but she has her books
and she just got done catching up on her missed work,She was
worried at first,but now that Charlie and Rose are here,she's
holding out pretty well,later we are going to sleep for awhile.''
he replied.''Well good,get some rest,I'll notify the girls in the
morning and Rick do call us if anything comes up.''Mrs.Garrett
said choking back tears.''Don't Mrs.Garrett I will,you rest
well also and be careful on your way up here when you come.''

I post more!,so it took me like forever.
Mrs.Garrett went to bed early that night.But she just couldn't
seem to fall asleep.She had thought about Jo.Jo was a strong
person no what matter what the odds were she always overcame
them.She got up from bed and walked to her sewing table.
In one of the drawers she found her needlepoint,a picture
of her and the girls at her wedding and a card.Inside the
card was a message.It was message she hoped to never
let go of.The card was thank you gift from Jo the year she
and Blair graduated from Eastland. Inside it read.
'' Dear Mrs.G.''
Well here I am.I'm a high school graduate.
It's funny because I never thought I'd live to see this.
I came from a neighborhood where everybody's a nobody.
No one I know there has graduated from high school or
even gone to college.It's just a whole new world for me.
But I just wanted to say thank you to you,Blair,Nat and Tootie.
Who knows where I'd be today if weren't for Eastland.
I will always remember you all no matter where I go in life.''

Mrs.Garrett wiped tears from her eyes as she read over
the card and put it back in to the drawer.She now faced
the toughest decision.Which of the Four Musketeers to contact
first in the morning.She nodded her head and said Blair .

The next morning Mrs.Garrett awoke and decided to breakfast
first.She and Beverly Ann went into the kitchen and ate some
toasted bagels with cream cheese.Andy had woken early and
decided to take his wife Marsha to breakfast.Marsha was a
first grade teacher at the elementary school there in Peekskill
so they hardly had enough time together.Andy is now a gym teacher at Eastland.Eastland became co-ed in 1988.So that
means he is the seventh grade boys gym teacher.Beverly
was so hope happy he remained so close to home.

''Well Edna have you thought of who you're going to call first?''
Beverly Ann as she poured herself another cup of coffee.
''Yes,I think Blair should be the one to know first after all
she and Jo have been best friends despite all of their fights.''
''What up about Ryan and Annabelle,don't they still work
at St.James Medical Center?'' Beverly Ann asked.
''My gosh!,you're right!''Edna retorted,I had forgotten all about
Ryan and Annabelle!,I haven't seen since the Founder's Day
Parade back in 1994.Annabelle is doing fine,she is an RN and
married to Dr.Mark Anderson.They have two children John-Ryan
is sixteen and Sarah Ann is twelve.'' I am glad you mentioned
them.''Well they just came across my mind besides you helped
Ryan and Anna right after Sarah died.They always loved you.''
Beverly smiled back.''Well for now let's go tidy up the house
and wash the sheets and towels.''Edna said ''After we're done

Sorry Guys.I've been busy lately with another fic,and plus
family stuff,But anyways here's some more for 'ya!

Meanwhile back at the hospital doctors and nurses were
constantly checking on Jo.They had given some fluids intravenously and also took blood samples.Jo's cough
was still rough and she still couldn't talk.So the medical
staff did their best in order to make sure she was getting
as much as medical attention as she needed.
(Dr.Anderson then entered the room.)
''It's ok Jo,I just need to listen to your lungs again.
Jo sat up and he lifted the backside of her gown.Jo
flinched when he the cold metal of stethoscope touched her.
''Sorry,I know's it's cold but this will be over soon.''He listens
and scribbles down his findings on a clipboard.''
''Ok,so far you still have alot of fluid in you lungs Mrs.Bonner.,
I'm recommending therapy.Twice a day starting tomorrow morning
a nurse will and run a vibrating machine across your back.You
will then be asked to cough up as much as you can.Then after
that we also have breathing treatments for you to do.''
Are there anyway questions before I go?''
Jo shook her head no.
''Good,get some rest.I'll see you later.''
Jo nodded as the doctor left,She then went to sleep.''

Hey Guys!,Sorry for the very long wait!!!,Here's More!!!

Marsha couldn't really concentrate on teaching her class.
It wasn't the kids as they were studying for a test.It was
the things that Andy told her about Jo and how much
all the girls really to him.Marsha knew about Andy's past
and his constant shift to several foster homes.Andy had
mentioned to that all the girls were like big sisters to him,
including him in everything,from weekend trips to the movies
or dinner at the pizza place or just a quite evening at home
reminiscing about the good old times he really enjoyed it.
Marsha decided to call a subsitute for her class and take
the rest of the day off.She knew she had to be there for Andy.

Meanwhile back at home,Edna vaccumed the floors,and dusted
the rooms.Beverly Ann remade the beds with fresh sheets and
pillowcases.She then headed downstairs to wash the breakfast
dishes that were still in the sink.They then waited patiently
on the living room couch expecting more news from Rick.
