What do you think . . . that's the question! phoebe7165 09-14-2003, 03:39 PM I don't think they're unhealthy. It's a part of life. I think that anybody who's never had a crush, whether it be a 'real' person or a celebrity, doesn't have a heart. Chad22 09-14-2003, 03:45 PM Ive had one for 6 years. [-Kelsey-] 09-14-2003, 04:11 PM I have three crushes at the moment  Penny Lane 09-14-2003, 04:15 PM Whether healthy or unhealthy isn't the point. It is pretty much involuntary like the hiccups. Almost impossible to stifle! My first major crush was on George Harrison when I was 14 years old!Lord, I had it so bad!  Hollow 09-14-2003, 04:34 PM Originally posted by phoebe7165 I think that anybody who's never had a crush, whether it be a 'real' person or a celebrity, doesn't have a heart. That's a little harsh, what if theyve never met anyone attractive? ive realized that i never like guys for their looks, its always for their personality. it's not unhealthy to like someone but it is if youre so obsessed with them its taking over your mind. ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 09-14-2003, 04:40 PM My crushes can get so bad..lol especially when I was in school and you'd follow them around and stuff. :o Rhiannon 09-14-2003, 04:44 PM I think they're bad...especially when it gets to the point when you're stalking the person and they reject you more and more. It just really hurts IownTheDivision69 09-14-2003, 04:50 PM my crushes are unhealthy. *evil grin* i know everything 'bout ma crush. even stuff im not supposed to know ^________^ and then all the other stuff i dont know about... i make up strange theories about it... and i got about like 300 recorded in this little notebook i have thats practically dedicated to ma currrrrsh! and it includes... like every stupid little thing they've said since i started stalking them... and then its got like what they wore and when they wore it... where i think they bought it... pictures!!!!! and a ****load of other wunderflull stuff! but it is... really horrible, and sick! i need to stop before someone gets hurt! IownTheDivision69 09-14-2003, 04:59 PM wow... i have problems. ~*Hannah_Lee*~ 09-14-2003, 05:05 PM Originally posted by ~°Sarah°~ That's a little harsh, what if theyve never met anyone attractive? ive realized that i never like guys for their looks, its always for their personality. it's not unhealthy to like someone but it is if youre so obsessed with them its taking over your mind. I agree. Some people never seem to fall for someone, because they always find something that's wrong with them *cough* Hannah *cough* I agree with you too, Sarah, that when someone becomes obsessed with them to the point of it taking over their mind.....thats not healthy at all. CheersChild4life 09-14-2003, 05:15 PM Crushes are awsome I have a crush on a guy that is supposedly my "boyfriend" phoebe7165 09-14-2003, 05:35 PM Originally posted by ~*Hannah_Lee*~ I agree. I said nothing about being obsessed with somebody. You totally missed the point of what I was saying. What I meant about not having a heart(which I knew I would get flak from), is that I can't imagine never having a crush on ANYBODY in your life whether it be a 'real' person, a teacher, your coach, and especially a celebrity. So, you're saying you've never had a crush on a famous person? I've never known anybody who hasn't. I don't care how old or young a person, there has to be somebody out there that when you look at them, you just get this "swooning" feeling. That is what I meant. I'm in my 3?, have a serious boyfriend, but I have crushes on quite a few famous people. But I just don't consider that real because you don't know them personally. I think I had a real crush one time on this guy in the 6th grade, then I got to know him and he was a loser....so I think I've become too cautious since then. Who knows, but that's what I read. Everyone has them. They only become unhealthy when they turn into obsessions and you either don't live your life, you you become a stalker. dawsongirl 09-15-2003, 01:32 AM Originally posted by ~°Sarah°~ ive realized that i never like guys for their looks, its always for their personality. I'm 34. I agree with Anaheim. There's nothing wrong with a good crush until you start stalking the person. I have had so many crushes. I keep a mental list of them. Swimfan85 09-15-2003, 03:43 PM the guy I sorta like now is a dealer, but its alright ;), the other is my ex...catholic school boy:woohoo: Swimfan85 09-15-2003, 03:44 PM to quote sixteen candles, "if crushes were easy they wouldnt be called crushes, they would be called something else" *PinkLady* 09-15-2003, 04:33 PM I don't see why they aren't healthy or normal or whatever.
