A comedy or a dramedy? Sure, Cheers had plenty of laughs, but it also had its share of tearjerking moments. I vote dramedy.

It does have some serious moments but all sitcoms do. I agree that M*A*S*H is more of a dramedy, and I also think Ally McBeal is considered a dramedy too.
