I think that Colonel Blake is the best.......He can be soo funny at times and so clumsy that u have to love him, however at other times he is so caring that it almost brings a tear to your eye. He is by far one of the best characters!:talk:

I definitely agree with that!

McLean Stevenson was one of the best comedic actors on the show. He could be bumbling at one moment and serious and compassionate the next. It's a shame that he left the show. I would have loved to see his character evolve like the others did.

There was a misfortune about the show after both McLean Stevenson and Wayne Rogers left.

I wish Rogers and Stevenson had stayed. THe once great show never would have gotten so pretentious and sometimes excruciating (even if the show still evolved a little with the two in it).
