Has anyone traded with him before? passionsfan79 09-02-2003, 09:55 PM ive never tradded with him but i think i know who he is. he has emailed me several times about a trade though jroxx2002 09-03-2003, 01:55 AM I have traded with him. The reson why he wants you to send first is because he will say he didn't like your tapes, then copy them for himself, then send the tapes you sent him back to you. The Wonder Years you were going to get from him, he got from me. It's nice to see he's trading them, even though he claimed to have sent them right back to me, and since they were "such horrible quality" Collinwood2003 09-03-2003, 03:32 PM So glad you did a trader check first. Do not trade with this person. Have him send first if you want to trade. I never traded with him but he wanted to trade with me. Jason told me about the wonder years and I saw he had the wonder years on his list. After Jason sent it to him and said it was poor quality when it wasn't. Then the person in Canada got very rude with me since I wouldn't trade with him and said my tapes he wanted from me wasn't good quality if I thought Jason's tapes were good quality. I told him I could prove my tapes were good quality and that was the end of him for me. It mad me so mad. Angie The TV Show Guy 09-03-2003, 05:04 PM Thanks for the heads up. I'm calling off the trade. passionsfan79 09-03-2003, 05:33 PM i know who he is now he has contacted me several times for boy meets world tapes mashunter18 09-03-2003, 08:46 PM who has wonder years episode#104 new years???I need this one:D arnold 09-03-2003, 09:41 PM Excuse me, but this is the "bad trader" taking some of his time to make the truth be known. Firstly, to jroxx2002: I don't know HOW you can still possibly believe (after over 2 months) that those WY eps were actually "good" quality. I would really love to see your definition of "good". I have to admit, the first two seasons were decent, but as I got to season three, the constant sound volume changes were too unbearable for me to endure. I guess you forgot to mention to me that four episodes were missing and the last half of the entire series was utterly UNWATCHABLE (then again, I guess it's been awhile since you've actually watched your own videos). Maybe you like viewing shows with a picture that shakes every two seconds and becomes distorted, sort of like a scrambled movie channel that you cannot receive...get what I'm trying to say? Anyway, this is not the point. The point is, I DID NOT copy those stupid WY recordings before returning them to Jason, as I obviously had no need for them. As I even explained this to Jason himself (it's a wonder this guy understands anything), I already had the whole WY series which I had recorded MYSELF from TV in excellent quality, grade A+, 100%, etc. I simply liked the show so much, I figured I might as well get a second set as backup copies from this Jason fellow, as I was already trading him for Boy Meets World (which were truthfully the worst quality eps I had ever received in my history of trading - and I doubt he denies this). Once I received his tapes in the mail, I immediately let him know I would send them back the next day. So, to conclude this essay, I don't really care or mind if THE TV Show Guy doesn't want to trade with me anymore - I don't think I can trust anybody anymore. It is very hard to find a decent trader on this board - the only good experiences I have had were those with eBay sellers. You guys should look up to them. jroxx2002 09-04-2003, 01:44 AM it's funny that no one else on this board has complained about the quality of my tapes. As far as not having any luck with traders, I've had nothing but good expierences trading with people from this board. jasoncole 09-04-2003, 04:24 AM Originally posted by arnold Excuse me, but this is the "bad trader" taking some of his time to make the truth be known. [I]As far as not having any luck with traders, I've had nothing but good expierences trading with people from this board.[I] Yeah, I'm sure you have, as long as you get what you want and the others receive your fine collection. Collinwood2003 09-04-2003, 01:58 PM I'm sure Jason has traded with alot of people on this board like you have to. And maybe even the same people. You could of sent him what he wanted for the tapes you thought were good. dlemond 09-04-2003, 02:13 PM Originally posted by arnold As I even explained this to Jason himself (it's a wonder this guy understands anything), I already had the whole WY series which I had recorded MYSELF from TV in excellent quality, grade A+, 100%, etc. I simply liked the show so much, I figured I might as well get a second set as backup copies from this Jason fellow, as I was already trading him for Boy Meets World That makes no sense whatsoever. If you had excellent tapes and wanted backups, you could easily make copies of your own. But you want everyone to believe it was because you were already trading with someone you would ask him to make you a copy of an entire series? Of one you had? Grade A+? Come on. Read that quote again and see how ridiculous you sound. BrianHackett 09-04-2003, 02:48 PM does anyone have these tapes for trade if so, let me know. sorry i put this is on the wrong message. webmaster@nlw.zzn.com jroxx2002 09-04-2003, 02:53 PM gee, I know that I ask for tapes I already have A+ copies of all the time :D The guy has an answer for everything doesn't he. But then again, "it's a wonder I understand anything, isn't it?" GrapeJelly 09-04-2003, 04:45 PM Originally posted by dlemond That makes no sense whatsoever. I really think next time you should think of a MUCH BETTER excuse then this one you came up with ...its really lame :\ .. capeside_93 09-04-2003, 07:52 PM I have traded with Jason a couple times and we have lots more trades in the future. I recieved The Wonder Years set from him and they weren't excellent quality but they were pretty great but then again he didn't claim they were excellent. He was honest with me from the get go. I would rate them to around an 8 out of 10. Jason is also very patient trader. He's getting my Sister SIster right now and I have each episode on different tapes so I'm having to find the episode on one tape and tapeit for him and so on on many different tapes and ha has been very patient with me on those. Jason is definitly one of the best traders I've traded with so far!! And I will continue to trade with him more!! Thanks Jason! Collinwood2003 09-04-2003, 09:08 PM I'm glad a trader check helped stopped a trade. Anyone who is ask to send first is always suspicious. And trading with someone new is a good idea to do a trader check before the trade and use delivery confromation. Unfortunately you can't get a tracking # for Canadians. Jason is a great trader and always honest about the quality. Pam is great to and everything so is everyone else I traded with that are good traders. Angie |
