View Full Version : I Love Lucy Season 1 Boxed Set $78.49 at Walmart.com
TGFNickAtNite 08-30-2003, 10:34 AM I told you guys earlier that BestBuy.com/Best Buy Stores are selling the individual DVDS for $9.99 each which is a bargain compared to other sites and the Full Season Box set was 89.99, now I went to Walmart.com and they are selling the full Season 1 boxed set for $74.62 + 3.87 s/h to $78.49. That's the cheapest so far I could find, I'll be on the lookout for anymore cheaper sites. Of course if you have already bought them individually, which I have, Volume 9 and the rest are available at Best Buy.com and Best Buy Stores for only 9.99.
barwars 09-20-2003, 10:51 AM If I find it under $60 somewhere, Ill pick it up.
Otherwise, too rich for my blood.

Though it probably equals about the same amount as the ones in the US.
SPLAIN 10-03-2003, 09:54 AM Ok, but i also saw it at 139.99 at HMV and when i bought it, the cash registered 109.00, i certainly did not complain! It was still 10 dollars more than th lowest price i had seen.
Screenwriter 10-08-2003, 11:58 AM Where I live they aren't even selling them at a Wal Mart.
Amber8611 10-10-2003, 09:27 PM I haven't seen them in Wal*Mart either. I'm probably going to order the last DVD online though, I have the first eight so I'm not going to get the box set. Does anyone know when the second season will be coming out??
MagsLovesLucy 10-10-2003, 10:12 PM I haven't seen it around either. I already bought the first 9 on DVD, so I'm not going to buy the box set of season one (although the cover is pretty!).
SPLAIN 10-12-2003, 08:29 PM The other five will be sold season by season, i guess they were just testing the marketplace with the singles, to see how much demand there was.
TGFNickAtNite 10-12-2003, 10:03 PM OOh I hope it's true, where did you find out SPLAIN? At least I don't have to wait months for every volume :)
SPLAIN 10-14-2003, 09:42 AM It's been mentionned on many sites, but i assume we'll have to wait months for every season though as they take lots of time to make, check Lucyfan, Tom Watson knows everything.
MagsLovesLucy 10-14-2003, 03:03 PM Yeah, I'm not sure about the second season, but Tom Watson said a few months ago that if we're lucky, we'll have the complete series on DVD by 2006.
SPLAIN 10-14-2003, 03:13 PM Wow, there's hope for me being buried with it!

Wow, there's hope for me being buried with it! Do you want some crazed Lucy fan digging you up to steal those DVD's? You'd better rethink that plan!!!!
SPLAIN 10-16-2003, 02:56 PM They'll get a horrible picture as i'm being cremated!
Lodee 10-17-2003, 01:36 PM Okay, so then what is the point?????? (or were you just kidding?)
SPLAIN 10-17-2003, 01:44 PM Well, i did always like Margo Kidder!
Lodee 10-17-2003, 08:47 PM Didn't she go crazy awhile back? Didn't they find her wandering around someones backyard? Or am I getting her mixed up with Ellen Degenereses old girlfriend?
