Lalaine, as I read on tvtome (I think) was not in the movie or the last six episodes because Hilary and her mom did NOT like Lalaine so she left. I am not exactly sure whether or not this is true, but this is what I read.

i remember reading some where that Lalaine had left due to personal reasons

Miranda was not in the "Lizzie McGuire Movie". She's doing something.

Lalaine wasn't in the movie cause she was filming You Wish.

Lalaine left the Lizzie production because of some problem she had with someone. That makes the most sense.

She didn't leave because of You Wish!. She left for personal reasons.

Maybe she was just busy. God.

The real reason was that miranda couldn't make a deal about how much she would get pay for the movie and she decide not to be in it. So instead of using someone else to play her they made of the exuse that she was in mexico.
