PHYLLIS? OMG, i saw Phyllis for the first time today and this is defintely the WORST Opening theme song I ever heard in my life. During the opening theme, all you hear over and over is PHYLLIS, PHYLLIS< PHYLLIS<- I thought my ears were going to fall off. Does anyone agree? Or do you have another theme song that drives you crazy?

The Last season of Suddenly Susan had a crappy theme song

I would have to choose the theme from "The Patty Duke Show" with its inane drivel about "cousins, identical cousins" and "They walk alike, they talk alike". Who likes that crap anyway?

 Your post really got me to laughing, Solomon. Just imagining a person's ears falling off because of a theme, it just cracked me up. Okay, yeah, I'm really off topic and I can't really think of a theme that drove me insane, so I'll just send this post on its way.

LOL, Jenny. I feel the same way you do! That just struck me as funny. And I can't think of a theme song either but I thought I'd post anyways.

Okay, you brought up a good one. And the first season's theme song was especially bad. "And all the rest"?? The song hadn't named only TWO people from the show--The Professor and Maryann. AT LEAST the theme song changed a little the next year. It was still barf though.

The first opening theme song to Small Wonder was bad. It had a "tra-la-la" theme to it and it was really weird. It got better when the used the second opening theme song which they "jazzed" up.

I don't like that one either. I can't understand half the words and the ones I do understand don't make a lot of sense.

This isn't a sitcom, but the theme music to the Rockford Files. I hate it! It almost puts me into convulsions.

The "Full House" short opening theme was terrible. The lyrics in the syndicated version contains "If we will have all your fimiliar friends are waiting just around the bend." That was the dumbest opening I've ever seen. I saw it on both TBS and WB11 since last year as well as the marathon from past June. That was the shortest theme from "Full House" I've definitely don't want to see. I hope Nick at Nite will not be using the syndicated opening theme song anymore. The show needs the full ABC opening theme. I hope Nick at Nite will have the full ABC opening theme back in the next two and a half months.

The "Small Wonder" theme song is even worse than the show itself.

Thank you, thank you.

No offense intended, by the way. I know you dig the show.

None taken, but you were right. The theme song, especially the first one was awful. The second theme improved a little, but that was 1985 and that's what you can expect in 1985.

You must have tapes of this show, right? Either that or an unbelievable memory. Or both. :)

It's both. :D Seriously, I know all 96 episodes by heart from memory when I was watching the show back when I was 4 and 5 years old. :)

And I only have like 4 episodes on tape, so that's not too good. :(

That's the reason I've created a fanfic that basically continues the series because had Small Wonder been given it's deserved spolight, it could have continued well past 4 seasons.

Rats, only 4 episodes? I thought you'd have more. Good memory! I REALLY want to see this show again. I'll never forgive N@N for not running another "Revenge of the 80s" with this show on it. Or geez, they should have included it in their one and only "Revenge of the 80s." One show on there in particular I KNOW they could have done without. Even the short time those shows lasted on N@N wouldn't have been good enough because they couldn't show all 96, but that is better than nothing! I wish some network would really pick this up.

You're so right......but in the meantime, you could read my fanfic and enjoy some sort of justice. That's how I like to look at it. :)
