Not that I have alot of time, but I think it's time I get back to writing fan fic, with what little time I do have, in between my hectic life! lol It may take awhile, but I REALLY miss writing fan fic. So I'm going back to it no matter how long it takes.....I just hope people read it. lol BUT before I go back to my ORIGINAL fan fic of yesteryear, LOL I think I'd like to write one picking up right after CD got shot in the season finale. Ya know, as if I'm writing the first episode of season four. So, here it is.

Season Four Episode One

*Camera focuses in on Nate sitting alone in the restaurant. It shows him looking at his watch. Then it shows CD still slumped in the chair. Then it pans to the marshall lying on the floor. Camera goes back to Nate. It shows him calling the waiter over, giving him money for the drinks he bought. One for him and one for CD. Then he gets up and goes to his car. He gets out his cell, and calls CD's cell. Camera shows CD lying shot but you can hear her cell phone ringing. Nate lets it ring 5 times before her voice mail picks up.

Voice Mail: Hi you've reached Inspector DeLorenzo. I'm unable to come to the phone right now. Please leave a brief message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Beeeeeep.
Nate: Uh hi, CD. It's Nate. I don't know where you are,
(You can hear the disapointment in his voice.)
but I guess you ended up changing your mind after all, huh? I just hope everything is ok.
(Nate knows it's not like her to not answer her cell phone.)
I guess I'm going to head home. You have my house number and my cell. Please call me, ok? I'm worried.
He slowly presses the end button on his cell phone. The cell phone reads Duration of phone call: 32 seconds. Nate just sits there alone, for a minute then says out loud to himself.
Nate: No (pauses) something isn't right here.
He puts the car into drive and takes off, tires screeching.

*Nate pulls up outside the Marshall's apartment.* (I'll get to know how Nate knows CD's there in the next post! lol) hehehe

With Nate's gun pointing downward in his left hand he knocks on her door with his right, and with no response after about 5 seconds he shoots at the lock. Nate opens the door. The whole scene is in slow mo. Nate's eyes first go to the Marshall on the floor then as he opens the door further, he notices CD. Nate goes to the marshall, kicks the gun away from her hand, and checks for a pulse to make sure she's dead, then rushes to his partners' side.

Nate: CD?! He says shaking her slightly to try and awake her.
Nate: CD! Wake up, please wake up! Oh God.
Nate unbuttons her shirt, just below her bra to check out the shot. He very carefully and very slowly slides his hand around to her back.
Nate: No exit wound. He says outloud to himself.
He moves her to a flat position on the floor, so she's not slouched in the chair anymore. Just then she starts to move her head a little to the left.
CD: N...Nat.... she trys to smile as hard as she can when she notices Nate's by her side.
Nate: Yes CD, it's me. I'm here. Don't try to talk. You'll be fine. We've got to get you to the hospital.
Nate proceeds to pick her up and carry her out of the door, as a groom would carry his bride.

*At the hospital.*

Nate pulls up to the hospital door, with a screech of the brakes, and goes around to the back seat where he has CD laying down, his coat proping her head up. He once again grabs her as he did in the Marshall's apartment. He kicks his car door shut, then kicks open the hospital door, approaching the nurse's desk.

Nate: Get me a gerny, (I think that's how it's spelled lol) I'm a cop, my girlfr....(he corrects himself) my partner's just been shot!
The nurses look at each other and none of them move.
Nate: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR! One of the nearby doctor's overhears the rucus and rushes over and takes CD from Nate. (His left hand still under her head to make sure it rests gently on the gerny.)

(In the waiting room.)

Nate is pacing back and forth in the hospital waiting room. Awaiting news from the doctors. His right arm is folded at his chest, with his left hand resting under his jaw, in an attempt to stop his hands from shaking. Just then Jinny, Magda and Kate show up from the Division.
Nate: Oh thank God you guys are here.
Jinny: Oh Nate. She says with the utmost simpathy.
She goes up to Nate and gives him a tight hug.
(She's always the shoulder to cry on it seems and yes she's done some crying of her own. lol)
But as she approaches she can tell he's trying really hard to hold back a flood of tears, because they have all accumulated in his bottom eyelid. Knowing that the next thing that he says or does, will bring them all flowing down like a waterfall.
Kate: We came as soon as we got your call. How is she?
Nate: (The tears escape in one big rush.) I don't know. (His voice cracks.) They've still got her. You can hear the crying in his voice. These damn doctors don't seem to know anything. They took her five minutes before I called you guys.
Magda: Huh, five minutes before.....
she cuts herself off and looks at the clock and sees 8:52 PM.
Magda: That was over two hours ago.
Nate: I know. (His bottom lip quivers)
Kate: Oh Nate. (she gives him a hug too.) She'll be fine, trust me. She's a fighter.
Nate: Oh yeah. That she is. And very stubborn too. (He trys to force a smile...and fails miserably.)
Just then a doctor walks out. Nate looks at his name badge as he approaches. It reads Dr. Davis Chief of Surgery.
Dr. Davis: Hi are you Nate Basso?
Nate: Yes..Yes I am.
Dr. Davis: Hi I'm Dr. Micheal Davis. Candace is out of...
Nate cuts him off.
Nate: CD.
Dr. Davis: Excuse me?
Nate: I said CD. He pauses for a brief second. She likes CD.
Dr. Davis: Oh, my apologies. Well CD is out of surgery. They managed to removed the bullet. She was just wheeled into recovery. It seems that the bullet penetrated her ribs on the right portion of her body. She'll be in pain for several weeks to a month, but she should make a full recovery with no permenant damage. It really is a miracle. A shot like that would have surely killed anyone. Most people, it would shatter there ribs and bone fragments would break off and affect other organs. But not with CD. God Lord, she was a real fighter.
Nate: IS!
Dr. Davis: I beg your bardon?
Nate: Not WAS, IS. She IS a fighter. Speak proper English. You're talking as if she's DEAD! He yells the word dead.
Dr. Davis gives Nate a dirty look.
Jinny: When can we see her?
Dr. Davis: In about 20 minutes or so. But one at a time. and only for a short while. Visiting hours will be over in an hour.
Nate: Can I go first, guys?
The gang all nods in aggreement.

*A half hour later.*

Nate walks into CD's room, and notices her lying...AWAKE, to his surprise. He goes and sits on the foot of her bed.
CD smiles from ear to ear. Nate managed to get his composure.
CD: Hi!
Nate: Hey there...how ya doing? He asks in a very gentle tone.
CD's voice sounds like a whisper.
CD: I feel like a million bucks.
Nate: Well at least you haven't lost your sarcasm.
CD: Nate?
Nate: Yeah?
CD: How did you know...
Nate cuts her off.
Nate: How did I know where you were?
CD: Yeah. she laughs a little.
Nate: Simple. I've worked with you long enough to know how stubborn..and smart....you are. And I knew you were on to her and where you'd be. If only we had had dinner, and gone over there together. But nope. You had to do to it on your own. Tisk, tisk. Nate says in a funny voice, while skaing his finger at CD. IT's ok though, not your fault. You won't change your ways, just like Zebras can't change there stripes.
CD laughs then grabs her right side.
CD: what kind of metaphor is that? she asks.
Nate gives a cute shrug.
CD: Please don't make me laugh now, Nate! It hurts to much!! She laughs more.
Slowly they both lessen there smiles.
Nate: All joking aside now, why did you feel you had to see her alone, don't you like me to work with you? He asks with a non-serious frown.
CD: Well I didn't want anything to happen to you.
Nate: Yeah? Well it never bothered you before, on all the other raids and busts we did together.
CD: True, but I never really liked you much then. She grins.
Nate: I see. So, I take it you like me now?
CD taps the side of the bed.
CD attempts to pick up her head silghtly and kiss Nate.
CD: Does THAT answer your question?
Nate: Ohhhhhhh YEAH I'd say so.
Nate: I'm so glad I didn't lose you. I couldn't live without you.
CD: I know. But everything will be ok now......I love you.
Nate: Oh, I love you too, but CD...I need to ask you something.

CD: Yes?
Nate: Well, sure we have feelings for each other, and we've shared kisses and all but I just need something cleared up. Are we boyfriend/girlfriend, or are we just interested in each other?
CD: Well, what do you feel?
Nate: HA! As if you don't already know. I want to be with you, permenantly. More then anything. he pauses. Don't you feel the same?
CD: Nate! Of COURSE I do, I just don't want to be hurt again, that's all.
Nate: (he's quiet for a moment) Do you think I'd hurt you?
Nate: No of course not, but if you were to ever fall out of love with me, then...
Nate: (puts a finger up to CD's lips) Don't finish that sentence. That would never happen...don't you know that?
CD: I know, but you can't control what you'll feel..or not feel for me a few years down the road.
Nate: Are you trying to dump me, but let me down easy at the same time?
CD: (laughs) Don't be rediculous! I'm just going by past experiences. No matter what I feel for you, the other guys in my past have said the exact same things you're saying, and have left me anyways. I want to believe you won't do the same, but I don't know. I want to make up my mind, before I fall anymore in love with you. It's just no fun at all getting hurt. (she starts to cry)
Nate: Oh, CD, honey. I understand your reservations believe me I do and I wish I could prove to you forever that I will never hurt you, but I don't know how to do that. All I can do, is hope you'll give me the chance to show you and I'll prove you wrong.
CD: (still crying) You mean put my heart on the line again?
Nate: ... yes pretty much. I know that's alot to ask, and if you feel like it will be to hard, then let me know and I'll accept defeat like a man and I'll walk away. Don't worry about my feelings. What's more important, are yours.
CD: No, yours are just important. Are you kidding? Ok I'll give you that shot.
Nate: Thank God! You had me worried there for a second.
CD: Hey, was that a guilt trip you were trying to lay on me?
Nate: What?! he asks pretending to be surprised.
CD: YOu know when you said not to worry about your feelings.
Nate: OH that, well maybe. he laughs.
CD: Well whatever it was, it worked.
Nate: Well good!
*As they attempt to show each other how they feel, the nurse walks in.*
Nurse: Oh, my lord! Sorry! She says covering her eyes, and leaving the room.
CD and Nate gather themselves, and Nate goes out to the nurses station to find out when she can be released. After he speaks to the same nurse that walked in on her and Nate, he finds out she can be released tommoroww, and heads back to CD to inform her.

*Nate walks into CDs room. She is lying on the bed, as she sees him enter a wide smile comes across her face.*

CD: Welcome back. she says motioning him over to her.
Nate: You'll be pleased to know you will be released tommoroww, once they've finished all there paper work on you.
CD is eager to ask: How long before I can go back to work?
Nate: Well, that will be a little while.
CD: How long?
Nate: Well the Doctor said anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks depending on how good you feel, and how fast your wound heals.
CD has a depressed look on her face.
Nate: Hey hun, look at me. Just think of it this way. Now that we have confessed our feelings for each other, we don't have to worry about having to wait until we go to work to see each other. I can visit ya at your house and visa versa.
CD: Oh my God. For a second, I had forgotten we even told each other how we felt! It's that hard to believe that we are finally able to be open with each other. I'm so used to having to keep my feelings a secret.
Nate: So am I, but we don't have to worry about that anymore. We both know how each person feels.
CD smiles when he says that.
CD: Oh no. One problem.
Nate: And what could that be?
CD: What about when I go back to work? I'll have to go back to pretending that there's nothing happening between us. she says discouraged.
Nate: Why do you say that?
CD:Well, you know Captain. She might not like the fact that we have a different relationship besides just a partner/partner one.
Nate: CD, think about what you're saying. What reason would she have not to like it? I mean really. It can only make us working on our cases better. Because we will have the stress of keeping our feelings a secret, off our shoulders. And we'll be able to concentrate on our work more.
CD: (thinks for a second) I guess that makes sense. Besides if Captain says anything anyways, we can back-up our theory with that. That getting together will help us concentrate on our cases better. Because we don't have to hold back our strong feelings anymore. We will be able to be totally open. I sure hope that is convincing enough for her.
Nate: Don't worry I'm sure it will be. So what do you say, I go home and take a shower....I have been here all night, (he jokes) then I'll come back and stay till visiting hours are over. How's that?
CD: Sounds great. I can't wait until tommoroww so I can get out of here.
Nate: Me either. But I'll be back in about an hour or so. See ya soon, CD. he says kissing her gently on the lips.
CD: Hurry back to me.
Nate: I will. he says as he shuts the door to CD hospital room door behind him, breathes a sigh of relief that his soulmate will finally be alright, and he heads down the hall.

*As Nate gets into his car to head home and take a shower, he turns on his radio and starts jammin the the oldies.* He sings:
Nate: "Why do you build me up, buttercup baby just to let me down," and starts thinking to himself he's so happy now. He has finally confessed his feelings to CD and she to him, and once she gets out of that hospital they can finally be together and start there life as a couple. He starts thinking of original ways to propose to her and he thinks that it will be great once CD and him confess there feelings to everyone. As he pulls out of the hospital parking lot and takes a right turn, he has no choice but to draw his attention to the road. He never was a clumsy driver, and that was one of the things CD had loved about him.Not that she ever let him drive, but if for some reason he had to, she would feel comfortable. And he never understood why she didn't want him to drive half the time. She had assured him he was a really careful driver, but she just enjoyed driving so much and that she didn't start driving until late in life in her early 20's and that she liked it. Nate remembers that and giving her a wierd look one day in there' car and shrugging it off, and once again helplessly, his mind wanders to CD. Until he hears screeching of tires behind him and he is thinking that some teenage punk is being stupid and driving wrecklessly so as he attempts to pull the car over to the right side of the road, the car behind him loses control and rear ends Nate's car before he has time to slow down to the shoulder of the road. This spins him around, and he is now facing the opposite direction in which he came from. Whatever part of the car isn't buried in a tree, has somehow disappered. All you can see, is Nate's head all bloody resting on the steering wheel...his body motionless.

People come from every direction slowly, one by one, and walk up to his car. About 10 people have accumulated near his car after about only 3 minutes. One woman yells, is there a Doctor here! This man needs some help! Just then as if it were planned, a guy immerges from the small crowd. I'm a Doctor. he yells and attempts to check for Nate's vitals. No one try to move him! The dark haired man about 50 exlaims to everyone nearby.
Doctor: He's still alive.
The doctor yells for his wife.
Doctor: Helen, call an ambulence.
She does as she's told, and then the doctor takes out his cell phone and with one hand he holds it, while with the other looks for a form of identification on Nate's body.
Doctor: ......oh my God, the man says after a bit of silence. This man is a cop. I've gotta call his job and let them know. he says to himself (He thinks a bit and then realizes he should call them once at the hospital, because if he were to call now they would want to go to the car wreck and then more people would be in the way. And they need to get Nate out of there as quickly as possible.) Once at the hospital after they had done all they could to save Nate's life, he lies in ICU, barely clinging to life. While he can't talk or move his mind is still active. He starts to think of CD yet again. All the good times he had with her, all the times she had given him the eye, as if to say don't worry one day we'll be together, and he thinks of all the times they would flirt with one another and when people would look at them wierd, they would pass it off as being friendly. The corner of his mouth starts to move, as if he wanted to form a smile, and his finger moves ever so slowly on the bed yet there is no nurse or anyone around to see this happening.
In the waiting room, everyone has showed up from the Division, Kate is thinking this is all to familar, when not long ago she was coming to visit CD and now they were visiting Nate. Two of her best and favorite inspectors. What would be next?
Kate: Magda, what's the lastest you heard on Nate?
she asks Magda because she was the first to get there (surprisingly) and Kate was the last.
Magda: Last I heard, he was in critical condition, in ICU.
Kate paces back and forth, not being able to handle news like that. She thought of all the inspectors of the felony Division as her children, and when one was hurt she felt as though it was her own child. She couldn't take another one being hurt.
Kate stops dead in her tracks when she sees CD standing down the end of the hallway, slowly walking towards all the members of the Division. Kate doesn't know what to make of that, and it hits her like a bolt of lightening she has to tell CD what has just happened to her partner, not even knowing he's now her boyfriend, too. CD approaches them all slowly, one by one they become aware of CD's presence that knocks them out of the daze that they're in.
Kate: CD, how are you able to get up and walk around already? she asks desperatly trying to figure out how to tell CD her partner was clinging to life.
CD: Oh I can, as long as I go slow. I'm leaving tommoroww after all! she says surprised that Kate had almost forgotten that. But Kate now had Nate to worry about.
Kate: Oh...right sorry I....wasn't thinking.
CD: I'm just waiting for Nate to get back here after he has a shower. Poor guy was here all night. Poor guy probably needed one. she laughs. He said he would stay till visiting hours are over and if he doesn't hurry up then they will be over! she laughs, and stops thinking of Nate for a second when she realizes everyones faces are pretty much filled with tears.
CD: Cap? What's going on?
Kate: CD come here sit down with next to me. she says as if trying to comfort her own daughter.
CD: What is it?? she asks with a worried tone.
Kate: I wish I didn't have to tell you this right now, but you'll find out from the wrong person if I don't.
CD: Captain! What is wrong!
Kate: It's Nate. He was in a car accident.
CD: No........ is all she could manage to say. Her heart was beating so fast she thought it was going to kill her. All of a sudden, her rib started to bother her where she had been shot. She grabs her side, and leans foward in the chair as if she were about to fall to the floor.
CD: My Nate! she says not even caring that anyone was around.
Magda looks at Jinny and says silently:
Magda: My Nate?! with a questioning tone.
Jinny just shrugs.
Kate: CD...come on. Sit back, and try to relax.
CD: Relax?! My partner was just shot, my...my....man!
CD had no regard for who heard what she said or what they thought of it. She gets up slowly, and heads over to the nurses station.
CD: Where is Inspector Nathan Basso's room?
Nurse: Well he's in ICU right now and no one can go in there right now, you'll have to wait until he's put in a room......
but before the nurse could finish CD was already down the hall heading towards ICU. She knew where it was from working on plenty of cases that took her to that area of the hospital.
She was looking left and right for any sign of Nate. In case if by some miracle he was up and walking...her mind was now playing tricks on her. When right in front of her, she sees ICU and burst through the door. She saw a body lying there that she KNEW was Nate, but with all the tubes and stuff it would have made anyone second guess who it was. But she didnt' have to guess. She knew it was him. She had recognized the smell of his cologne. Thankfully he was just resting, and no nurses where around to stop her. Not like it would have mattered. She had so much strength right then and there she could have knocked them out with one hand, shot or not shot. Meanwhile as she walked in to sit by her lovers side, the waiting room was echoing with loud voices. The scene picks up in the middle of there conversation.
Magda: I just can't believe it.
Jinny: Look little Miss I Have To Know Everything About Everyone. It's none of our business whether she's seeing Nate or not, and as for you, we could very well say how much we hate that you're two timing Gabe with Jonah but we haven't said that. Ok? And I even helped you!!! Because after you wouldn't take my advice about just getting over him, and you decided to date Jonah, I helped you!! You had me cover for you if Gabe called The Division , and I hated it. Maybe I'll just tell him, and be a good frend. Rather then a rotten one, who's been helping you keep this secret I don't agree with. You disgust me Magda, and you're so cold hearted not to care for Nate and CD.
Magda: Jinny....NO! Don't tell Gabe, please!
Jinny: See that's what I'm talking about, all you care about is you, you, you!.....(she pauses) OK. I won't tell him, but only because I know that would deter your attention away from CD and Nate who need it the most right now!
Kate: Girls please! You couldn't be more right Jinny but this isn't the time for this. They all sit back down, and Jinny is constantly giving Magda dirty looks.
The camera then goes back to CD who is sitting by Nate's side. She's holding his hand and stroking it back and forth.
CD: Oh Nate. What happened? Who did this to you. It was probably one of those careless teens drag racing, or something stupid like that. My poor, poor Nate. she says squeezing his hand lightly. She rests her head on his chest. Just then a nurse walks in with an attitude.
Nurse: Mam, I'm going to have to ask you to leave.
CD realizes it's the same one she just dealt with at the nurses' station.
CD: I already told you, I'm NOT leaving she says standing up, switching Nate's left hand from her right to her left so she can face the nurse.
The nurse realized how serious CD was by her face and didn't even attempt to have her escorted out.
Nurse: Alright. she said and shut the door.
CD goes back to what she was trying to do before, resting her head on Nate's chest.
CD: I love you so much, baby. she wispers. You are the world to me, what would I do without you. You can't leave me, I know you can't. I know you won't. You love me to much. she jokes through her tears that have now turned into a puddle on Nate's hospital gown.
CD is silent for a second so she can cry.
Nate starts to move.
He moves his fingers on his left hand that CD is still holding.
CD's head turns quickly to look at his hand in shock that he actually moved. She wonders if it was because of something she had said, or just because it was God's will that he survived. Probably both, she thought.
Nate wraps his fingers around CD's hand and squeezes her hand as hard as he can, which isn't that much. CD knows that that is his best effort and she gets electrified in side, knowing that the first thing he thinks of in conciousness is her. She smiles from ear to ear, while wiping her last tears away.
CD: OH Nate! I knew it, I knew you wouldn't leave me!!! she leans foward and kisses his mouth as best she can with the respirator cord in the way.
Nate opens a corner of his left eye and looks at CD. he slowly motioned for a pen and paper. She hands it to him. After what seemed like an eternity, he finished writing his message to her. As hard as it was to read, she made it out. It said: CD, my love, I don't have any strength in my arms right now but I do have feeling. Please wrap my arm around you, because I want to hold you but I can't move my arm myself. After reading that note CD has tears flowing down her face. So she does what Nate requested. And felt her cheek get wet. As she looked up at Nate tears started to stream down his face. After staying that way about 15 minutes or so, a different, nicer nurse comes in and says I'm so sorry, but I really can't let you stay a second longer, this is a sterilized enviroment and it's really not healty for Nate.
CD: Oh it's healthier for him then you'd know. It's ok he'll be fine now so it's ok, I'll leave. I just had to make sure he'd be ok. Nurse: Huh? she looks over to him and sees his eyes are somewhat open. Oh my goodness. she says. How is he recovering so fast? she asks.
CD: Love. CD said.
CD: Love.
The nurse puts her hand over her heart, and CD kisses Nate one last time on the mouth, strokes the side of his face, and she tells him: I won't be far away hun. and then she follows the nurse out the door.

*As CD left Nate's room, and an ear to ear grin came to her face. She was remembering all she had been through in both her life, and life with him. She knew what it had taken to get where she was at now. And that it took lots of trust for her to believe in Nate; to let him get that close to her. But she was assured that he wouldn't do to her as others did in the past. And being secure in that, she headed down the hall back to everyone from the Division, who was still in the waiting room wispering among themselves.*

CD approached everyone standing together and tried to explain all the things she had said about Nate in the waiting room. Because now that reality had sunk in, she realized all the things she had said about Nate, might somehow affect there job. And for the most part she didn't care. But on some level, she wanted to at least try and cover her tracks.

CD talks at first to everyone in general.
CD: OK, everyone. I don't really know how to explain what just happened. Just let me start by saying that Nate is fine. He'll live.
Everyone looks at each other exchanging happy glances and "Oh Thank God's."
CD: Ok, about what I had said before. she studers trying to find the right words...but there are none.
CD: I...I uh... I'm sure you're well aware the whole incident was a very tramatic experience for both Nate and I. And I may have said some things due to my emotions at the time that I didn't mean.....uhh.....I don't know what else to say, really.
CD couldn't find any words to try and take back what she had said previously. About saying, my man, and showing her more then friendly concern for her partner.

Right as Jinny attempted to chime in with one of her many well known sarcastic comments, and of course Magda would soon follow, Kate stepped in first. In an attempt to save CD from any more humiliation.
Kate: Of course we understand CD. Don't worry about it. We all know what you meant by that comment. she says waving her finger at the other inspectors of the Division. You meant that he was your man as in your partner, and you were afraid of losing him as you did Dick and Angela. Am I correct?? she asks giving CD a look as if to say play along.
Everyone glanced at Kate with a shocked look on there face, knowing that she KNEW that's not what CD meant by "my man" and they were surprised Kate was sticking up for CD in that respect.
CD: Yes captain. That's exactly what I meant. Thanks for helping me clarify that.
Kate: Anytime.
And before anyone could step in and say there piece, Kate started up again.
Kate: Ok, well now that we know that Nate is ok and that you'll be doing just fine, I guess we'll be going. We've all been here awhile. I say we go get refreshed, and we'll be back tommoroww to visit.
CD: Thanks so much Captain, CD says. .....for everything.
Kate: No problem. says Kate. She leans in to give CD a hug.
Kate: Give Nate my love. The captain says wispering in CD's ear.
CD: I will. Definetly. CD wispers back.
Kate: Oh I know. Kate wispers pulling away. They both share a brief smile before everyone else hugs CD and leaves. Kate follows close behind.
CD: Captain? CD calls quietly so the others don't hear.
Captain turns around to face the inspector that was calling her, leaving everyone else to walk on ahead of her wispering amongst themselves.
Kate: Yes?
CD: Wow, Captain. Not that I'm complaining at ALL, but...what was that all about?? Defending me in front of them and all.
Kate: Well it's this simple. I've been young and in love before. And I know what it's like to be in forbidden love. And it's horrible. Wanting so BAD to be with someone you can't be with. It hurts, and tears you up inside out. And the way I figure it, unless you guys are so into each other that it affects your cases,
CD gives an oh YEAH look that Kate shoots down....
Kate: ...then I don't see what the problem is.
CD: Oh wow. Captain...by you saying that it means more to me then you'll ever know. Thank you.
Kate: It's not a problem.
CD: You know, it's almost like...
Kate: Almost like what?
CD's eyes twinkle.
CD: It's almost like you're defending me as if I was your daughter.
Kate: Well...that may be because I look at you as my daughter. And I know you haven't had the greatest mother/daughter relationship in the past. The exact opposite, actually. And I simply wanted to be there for ya if/when you needed me, and you needed me so I was there.
CD: Wow. CD says her voice cracking. Do you mind if I.....
Kate: What? she asks putting her arm around CD.
CD: Since you consider me your daughter, can I consider you my mother? she asks unsure of what she'll say.
Kate: Well, I thought you'd never ask! Of course, CD. Of course!
CD cries in Captain's arms.
CD: Look at this. You got me crying!!!
Kate: I'm sorry, CeCe.
CD laughs through her tears.
CD: CeCe?
Kate: Yeah well, you don't like Candace and Candy would sound too....wierd, she laughs so I figure CeCe is cute. The type of nickname a mother would give her daughter. I like it.
CD laughs.
CD: Me too. Oh that brings me to something I'm worried about. What about everyone else at the Division? They know Nate and I are more then just partners. What if they...
Kate: Stop right there. First of all, I doubt any of them dare question the "partner" relationship I say you and Nate have. But if they do, simply let me know and I will have a talk with them and they won't run there mouths again. Besides, no matter what they say they don't make the calls on your job, I do. I'm your captain. So you can pretty much ignore them. Don't worry. I got your back. she says mocking as if she lived in the hood.

CD can't help but laugh, and hug her Captain in thanking her for all she has done to help her.

After there final hug, the captain walks out the door leaving CD to her MAN, and after wiping away her final worry tear, she opens the door once again to see be with the love of her life.

After CD walked in to see Nate, she was shocked to see that he was trying to sit up. Not succeeding very well. CD ran over to him.

CD: Baby, what are you trying to do???
she helps him back into bed.
Nate was shocked to see her he didn't realize she was in the room till she was right in front of him. He was too busy concentrating on trying to get up.
Nate: Oh hey, beautiful.
he manages to get out
CD: Nate, are you crazy?! It's too soon for you to try and get up!
Nate's expression of joy from seeing CD, went to utter anger and aggrivation. How could she not understand how much it meant to him to get up ASAP and to go back to the way things were. Now that they had confessed there feelings for each other, he wanted to celebrate there freedom as a couple. Although he was still worried about the Captain's reaction. Not knowing what she'd say to all this.
Nate: Damn it!
he exlaimed still trying to get up.
Nate: This just aggrivates me! I feel so helpless here!
CD: Nate, stop it! Relax! You need time to heal.
Nate: Yeah but what good am I to you here in this bed. You're the one with the serious injury, and I'm lying here doing absolutely nothing! I'm suppose to be taking care of you. Not the other way around. I'm the man!
Nate gets all flustered.
CD: Nate, it doesn't make you any less of a man by being laid up for a little while. My god! Don't you realize I can love you just the same whether or not your in that bed. And don't you dare think you need to be up and about to take care of me. Just by you admiting that you love me, and being with me IS taking care of me. Don't you see that?
Nate: Yeah I guess.
CD: You guess? I see.
CD walks towards the door. Nate calls to her.
Nate: CD. he calls with a whimsical tone so sure she'll turn around and go back to him. Yet when she keeps walking, his tone changes a little.
Nate: CD?! he calls with a questioning tone.
CD heads out the door and shuts it behind her.
Nate: Damn it! he calls.
Nate: I need you, and you need me. Especially now, you're in too much pain! he yells through the closed door. I need to take care of you.
CD walks in quickly with tears in her eyes.
CD: Exactly! she says and walks up to his bed. You need to take care of me! Just as I said before. And you can do that from the bed. Just by loving me. I just had to get you to realize that yourself.
Nate: I know. I know. I'm sorry. he says, with tear filled eyes.
Nate: I guess my ego was just too big.
After a brief little silence, CD said under her breath.
CD: Amongst other things.
Nate: Excuse me?
CD: Uhhhh nothing, nothing.
Nate: No, Candace. I heard you.
CD: Don't call me Candace. she says with laughter hidden in her voice, while wagging her finger at Nate.
Nate: You said amongst other things. What else is big?? Care to clear that up?
CD: Well you said it yourself...you're the man! she says and winks at Nate.
Nate: Wow. he says with a shocked tone. If that's what being shot does to ya, then shoot me now! he says laughing.
CD: Well, (CD says with a seductive tone) how about a shot of this? she asks and then kisses him passionately ending the scene, and episode.

*Scene starts with Magda walking in her door, and dropping exhaustedly on the couch. Gabe walks out from the bathroom with a towel around his waist, and sits beside her.*

Gabe: Wow, Magda. Where have you been. It's been hours.
Magda sighs
Magda: Well, After you fell asleep, I got a call from the hospital. CD got shot by the Marshal Elizabeth Rue that was suppose to work wth us, but she turned out to be playing against us. Then I had to see Nate because he got in a car accident immediately afterwards.
Gabe: My lord, Maggie. Why didn't you call and tell me?
Magda: Well, I'm sorry. It really didn't hit me. I was too caught up with them two.
She says as if she really wasn't there just to spy, which we all know she was. At times it's hard for anyone to figure out who's worse as far as being a noseybody. Raina, or Magda.
Gabe: Oh I understand. Uhh how are they?
Magda: Well CD is leaving tommoroww, and Nate will be there awhile longer, but I think he'll be fine. Besides, they have each other.
Gabe: What do you mean?
Magda: I don't know. Just that something was different about them. They weren't just partners at the hospital. Because when CD found out about Nate, she called him her Man, and..
Gabe: Magda, what business is that of ours anyway? I mean really. Do you always have to be the first to know everything about everyone??
Magda: WOW, whose side are you on anyways?
Gabe: Well, not yours. Damn Magda, don't you even care about how they're feeling? No of course not. You're too busy getting the gossip. I've seen you around Jinny. You always pry into her business. If she looks upset about something you ask her what's wrong which is fine. But if she refuses to offer information, you keep prying. No wonder you two don't get along. It's your own fault!
Magda is silent for a bit.
Magda: Well, since you're already mad at me, why don't I tell ya what I have to tell ya before I lose the courage.
Gabe: Boy, I can imagine. WAIT. Before you tell me. Answer me. Is what you're going to tell me make regret that I ever got back with you.
Magda: I don't know. But at least I am good enough of a person to have a consience. And even though it's broken off, and I don't have to tell you I am because it's playing on my head to much, and...
Gabe: Whoa. WHAT is broken off?
Magda: My affair. she says without hesistation.
Magda: I cheated on you.
Gabe has a look on his face that is in describeable.
Gabe: You know Magda, you are a piece of work! You degrade me for what I've done to you and Ben in the past, and you go and do this. And if you'll realize, I have been there for Ben for a longer part of his life then I haven't been. And you just spring this on me. And throw around the words like it's any old conversation. Have you no feelings or emotions for anyone except yourself??!!
They start raising there voices and Ben gets up and finds his way to the living room.
Ben: You're both fighting! Great, I thought you two got back together and we'd finally be a happy family. Boy was I wrong!
he runs back to his room crying.
Magda: See what you did?
Gabe: ME?! I didn't do that you started this!!!!
Magda: But it was you're yelling that woke him up!
Gabe: Look, I'm not going to lie to you. I'm GLAD you told me, but you didn't have to be so cold hearted about it.
Magda: Ok fine. So where does this leave us?
Gabe gets up and grabs his coat.
Gabe: I don't know. I have to think. Tell Ben I'll be back to see him in the morning.
Magda: Wait! Don't you wanna know who I cheated with?
Gabe hooks his coat over his left shoulder.
Gabe: Oh I can't wait to hear. He says sarcastically.
Magda: I had an affair with the Doctor who took care of me when I got shot myself.
Gabe: Oh you're hero.
he says leaving slamming the door behind him.
Magda is left sitting on the couch crying.

*Scene ends and restarts at Jinny's apartment.*
She had just gotten in after getting home from the hospital. The camera shows from certain angles getting undressed and going in the shower. Once she's done, she's in a bathrobe and heads for the coffee pot. She makes herself a cup of coffee. Up until this point, her effort in trying to unwind from that really long day had worked, until the phone rang. After about the second ring she had answered it.
Jinny: Hello. Jinny said casually.
Hi. came the all to familiar voice. Jinny was so shocked she almost dropped her coffee.
Jinny: Teddy?

Teddy: Jin? Look I realized how big of a jerk I was being, not giving you a chance. And I realize that you have been through alot in your life and you are trying to stop drinking and all, and...
Once Jinny was able to shake off the shock of hearing the voice of the man she loved coming through her phone after so long, she interupted Teddy.
Jinny: Teddy. Stop right there. Uhhh, how do I say this. she's quiet for a bit.
Jinny: Well, alot has changed since you left me.
Teddy: Like?
Jinny: Well, it's nothing I can explain over the phone. Why don't we meet somewhere?
Teddy: Uhh, I don't know about that Jin.
Jinny: Why not?
Teddy: I don't know. I guess I'm afraid of what I'll feel when I see you again.
Jinny: Well, if you weren't ready to see me then why call me at all? she asks angrily.
Teddy: Because. he rationalizes.
Teddy: I missed you. And I thought you'd be thrilled to hear from me again. But I want to take things slow. I don't want to meet up right away. BUT if you feel there's something drastic enough that you can't tell me on the phone then I guess we should meet.
Jinny: Ok look. This is definetly awkward. And obviously you're not sure if you want to see me face to face or not. And all I'm getting from you is mixed signals. But if you want to meet up with me and figure alot of stuff out then fine. We'll meet. How about Anchorside in the afternoon tommoroww around 1?
Teddy: Oh no. Not Anchorside Teddy dismisses immediatly.
Jinny: Why not?
Teddy: Well, obviously alot of people from The Division hang out there.
Jinny: Uhhhh so. Are you saying you're ashamed of me now?
Sighing Teddy tried to calm himself before he'd say something he'd regret. After all, he was trying to get back with Jinny, not have another fight.
Teddy: No Jinny. I just, don't want them to come over and say hi all friendly-like if we're having an intense conversation.
He smiled on his side of the phone being able to find such a good reason so fast. But if you still want to meet at Anchorside....he says trying reverse phsycology on her.
Which he should have known she was too smart for.
Jinny: Yeah ok we can still meet there then, she said. Knowing Teddy's plan backfired in his face, she had to smile. She knew at least this way there would be too many people around and he wouldn't cause a scene and scream when she told him she got married and was a stepmother for a brief amount of time to a kid she never met. Just ADDING to her dysfunctionalness.
Teddy: OK Jin. That's fine. 1PM. Tommoroww.
Jinny: OK talk to you then, bye.
Teddy: OK I love yo.......oh sorry Jin. it just comes automatic still. Jinny: Uh huh. Bye Teddy.
Teddy: Bye.

Jinny really hated being so cold to him, but his call came as a shock. And although she absolutely could not wait to talk to him, she didn't wanna admit that. At least not until she confessed her marriage to him, and then maybe she could figure out how to explain to him so that he forgives her for sleeping with, and being married to, another man the whole time wishing it was Teddy. So for the rest of the night she tossed and turned but no matter what she did she could not get Teddy off her mind. Oh if only she hadn't screwed up with that guy at the bar she thought. Drunk or not drunk. She knew deep inside that was the last straw for Teddy. Not that she could really blame him though. She would have been just as mad, if she were in his shoes. As all these thought went through her head, she finally drifted off to sleep around 4am and couldn't get up for 7am and was late for work.

When Jinny finally did get to work, she was worried about her appearance, but she knew if she would have taken a shower she would only have been even later, and that's all she needed. She was sure Kate wanted her dead or alive already, with how late she was. So at 7:45 AM, she finally showed up at work, after being an hour and 45 minutes late. Her hair was in a very loose ponytail, and her shirt was all wrinkled and her coat crooked. She rushed to Kate's office meanwhile biting her tounge knowing what she had to face.

Kate appeared to be really involved in a conversation she was having on the phone with who Jinny assumed to be either Louis or Ross, who she figured she was still fighting between. Then of course, Raina was standing behind Kate. Probably claiming to be doing some kind of paperwork, but both Jinny and Kate knew she was just trying to snoop. So, Jinny tried to duck out to her desk as if nothing had happened, but as Jinny turned her back to escape she heard Kate snapping her fingers. So she turned around and saw Kate point to the chair in front of her desk motioning for Jinny to have a seat.

Kate: Alright Sean, that'll be fine. I'll see you later then. I know me to. (Kate chuckled a little) Sean, I really have to go now! Ok you too, bye.
As Kate hung up the phone her smile faded as she folded her arms on her desk and looked at Jinny.
Raina had her own look on her face, behind Kate's back. She put her finger to the corner of her mouth, trying to figure out who Sean was. She never heard his name before in association with Kate. Jinny just gave Raina a dismissive roll of her eyes. Unlike Raina, Jinny didn't really pay that much attention to the Captain's life so she didn't care one way or the other who she was talking to. So she focused her attention back on Kate, who was now clearly looking right through Jinny. Meanwhile Jinny is giving Kate this puppy dog look, which Kate was NOT in the mood for. She was so sick of Jinny's little immaturities that her puppy dog looks didn't work anymore. So Kate stood up rather quickly, at the same time jamming the back of her chair right into Raina's gut, which immediatly caused Raina to go OW, Captain?!
Jinny couldn't help but grin a toothy grin.
Kate: Oh sorry Raina, kinda forgot you were behind me! she said with a shocked look as if that were possible.
Kate headed to her office door and held it open for Raina to leave.
Raina: Ok Captain, I can take a hint! She sighed and gathered what she had been pretending to be working on, and went to her desk. Kate just shook her head and shut the door behind her. She sat back in her chair at her desk, and stared at Jinny. Jinny stared back. This went on for about half a minute until Jinny gave in and looked down at the floor.
Kate: You know, Jinny....Kate started as she twirled from left to right in her chair. She expected Jinny to cut her off, but she didn't so she continued.
Kate: Are you trying to make my job so much harder then it already is, or what?
Jinny still wasn't saying anything.
Kate thought about sailing into Jinny some more, but saw that she wasn't fighting back so she thought she'd play the Mommy role and ask Jinny if anything was wrong with her. She tried hard not to laugh because the way Jinny looked was definetly a cause for laughing, but she held back.
Kate: Jinny.
Jinny: Yeah?
Kate: Are you feeling alright?
Jinny just gave her a wierd look.
Kate: What are you talking about?
Kate: Well, usually when I give you the "stop screwing up" speach, you get really defensive, and now you're just sitting there, emotionless. Is there anything you want to tell me?
Just then as Jinny starts with Well,...Kate cuts her off.
Kate: (sighs) Hold on a second, Jin.
Kate walks up to her office window, where on the bullpen side, Raina has clearly nostril-fogged the the bottom half of it, trying to hear what they were talking about.
Kate slams her fist on the opposite side of the glass, and then shuts the blinds.
HEY! You can hear Raina yell. I'm a really good listener! She yells from the other side.
Kate: That girl! God, she reminds me of my little cousin more and more everyday! Always making everyone's business hers!
Kate jokes but notices Jinny's face is completely emotionless. She looks to be in another world completely.
Kate walks over to the chair next to Jinny, rather then to her desk chair. She rests her left hand on Jinny's forearm.
Kate: Jinny, why don't you talk to me.
Jinny starts to cry.
Kate: Are you ok? What's the matter?
Jinny: Well it started to be about one thing, but now that you're talking to me it's about a couple other things too. she says crying harder.
Kate has a confused look on her face.
Kate: Ok, um I'm sorry. she says sitting back in her chair.
Jinny: No, no Captain. I didn't mean you. It's not your fault. I'm glad you're hear for me.
Kate: Then what's wrong?
Just then there's a knock on the door.
GO AWAY RAINA! They both yell at once.
Does that go for Magda too? The voice comes from the other side.
Yes says Jinny, and No says Kate at the same time. Kate just looks at Jinny.
Kate: Jin, come on now.
Kate walks up to the door opens it, and after a few seconds, she shuts it and goes back sitting near Jinny.
Jinny: What'd she want? she says with attitude.
Kate: Oh nothing, just to remind me that she was my next physciatrist appointment. she jokes.
Jinny: Ok. Nevermind, I don't want to burdon you. she says standing up.
Kate: No damn it! Kate says aggrivated and plops Jinny back down in her chair as she tries to stand up. I was kidding Magda is a burdon to be honest, but you...NEVER. Now what did you mean by what you said before? About now that I'm talking to you it's about something different.
Jinny: Well, at first Teddy was what was on my mind, and he was the reason I was late, and everything. But now that you are here sitting talking to me, my mind is now on my Mother.
Kate: Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know. What about her?
Jinny: Well...(Jinny's voice turns mad) God I hate my mother. I hate her so much!!!!!!!!
Kate: Jinny?! You don't mean that!
Jinny: Damn straight I do. I mean she should be here talking to me playing mother, NOT YOU! It's not your responsibility!
Kate: Well first of all your mom isn't here and I know you'd perfer her, but I figure I'm better then nothing! I'm sorry I just thought you needed someone to talk to. If I'm prying, I'm so sorry.
Jinny: You're not prying, I'm just so angry! She yells. My mother needs to be here talking to me about the men I've had in my life, and giving me advice I won't listen to. But she's not here! She killed herself, and she had no reason to. I mean, from what I can tell we were good little kids, aside from the usual petty fights and stuff, and I just can't understand why she would kill herself. And if my father's telling the truth she never knew about the affair, and that I can see would have been reason for her to kill herself, but she never knew! So what was it then!!!! I mean really. I want an answer!
Jinny cries harder. Kate consoles her.
Jinny: Since she's died I've had no one to talk to. Except for you of course. But before you, there was no one! I mean, two brothers and my father. And I couldn't talk to them about certain stuff! So I had no one. And it wasn't until recently I knew about my half sister, and we're not exactly on the greatest terms so it wouldn't have mattered anyways. But you know what, I refuse to boggle you down with anymore of my pathetic life, and besides we all have work to do, so.....nevermind.
Kate: Look, don't worry about working. Ok? You got a chance to get out of some work so jump on it...duh! She says with a smile. Jinny smiles back a little.
Kate: Besides the days been slow so far for almost 8 AM. She jokes. Not much criminal activity going on in San Fran.
Jinny laughs and starts to wipe away her tears. Kate rubs her right shoulder.
Jinny: You know, I feel a little better having just talked with you about this.
Kate: I know talking helps. So...
Kate starts. She gives Jinny a side wink.
Jinny: So what? she asks wondering what's up Kate's sleeve.
Kate: Jin, come on. she says with a best friends tone in her voice. (she never calls her Jin.) What did you mean by first Teddy was on your mind?!?! Where did Teddy come in, anyways? Huh?
Jinny's tears subside next to her grin that she couldn't hold back.
Jinny can't help but grin from ear to ear.
Jinny: Well.....long story short? Although I've been dying to call Teddy, and tell him how much I love him. I didn't because I knew he wouldn't possibly understand my very short lived marriage to Jack. And then calling him on the rebound, wouldn't look good and get me anywhere with him. I know that much.
Kate: So?
Jinny: So...he called me. Last night.
Kate: You're kidding!
Jinny: Nope. I almost dropped my coffee when I heard his voice too.
Kate: So shouldn't you be bubbling over with excitement?
Jinny: Yeah. If only it was that easy.
Kate: So what's wrong?
Jinny: (she pauses) I didn't tell him I was married.
Kate: Oh Jinny, you gotta tell him.
Jinny: I know! she says frustrated. I'm sorry, Cap. she says.
Jinny: We're meeting for lunch today. I'll tell him then.
Kate: OH wow. I can imagine what that will be like.
They're both silent for a second.
Kate: You know what, Jinny? Why don't you take the rest of the day off? Go home for a couple of hours, then meet him for lunch, and have the rest of the day to yourself.
Jinny: Cap. I can't ask you to let me do that.
Kate: Why not. I'm the boss. Are you telling me what I can and can't do???
Jinny: But...
Kate: Don't argue with me, or I'll suspend you...again! she jokes.
Jinny: Ok! she says with a chuckle. But don't you think Raina should be the one you're suspending, or "giving a day off?" says Jinny with air quotes, mocking Captain.
Kate: Hmmmm good point. Eh, she bothers me again, I'll just fire her. she says laughing.
Jinny: Good plan! she says taping the air with her finger.
Jinny gets up to leave and faces Captain.
Jinny: Thanks Cap. for everything. You're a great mom?
Kate: Huh?
Jinny laughs.
Jinny: You know what I mean. she says with a chuckle.
Kate: Yeah, I know. Have a good day. she says hugging Jinny tightly.
Jinny: Thanks I'll try. And I'll let you know what happens.
Kate: You better! she smiles.
Jinny: I will. Bye.
Kate: Bye.

Scene picks up with Gabe sitting at his friend's apartment after he has stormed out on Magda, when she confessed her affair to him. The phone rings, and Gabe's friend Juan answers it.

Juan: Hello? Oh hi there. Long time no hear! Hey, are you alright? Uhhh yeah he's here. Juan looks over to Gabe, in just enough time to see him shake his head in disapproval after telling Magda he was there.
Juan covers the phone and yells to Gabe.
Juan: Uh Gabe, it's for you. It's uhh Magda.
Gabe walks up to the phone and yanks it out of Juan's hand.
Gabe: Thanks alot!
Juan: Hey, I'm sorry man, I didn't know!
Gabe yells into the phone
Gabe: What do you want?!?! He asks with anger. And how did you know I was here?
Gabe: Yeah right, you're a real physic, more like a physco bitch. Yeah you heard that right! (he pauses) Look, I can't be yelling at you over the phone from here, this is my buddy's place. I've told you all I have to tell you already.
Gabe proceeds to hang up the phone, and here's WAIT coming through the reciever. He puts the phone back to his ear.
Gabe: What? Ok fine, tell Gabe I'll pick him up in an hour. And Magda so help me if you're using Ben as an attempt to get me over there, you'll regret it. he says angrily and slams down the phone.
Gabe looks over to Juan with a somewhat embarassed look on his face.
Gabe: Uh I'm sorry about that, man. It's just that Magda dropped a bombshell on me this morning, and I didn't know what to do. But I knew I had to get out of the house. So I decided to come hang out here for awhile.
Juan: Gabe, it's ok really.
They both sit down.
Juan: It's just why didn't you tell me any of this before?
Gabe: I don't know. I wanted to, but I didn't want to burdon you with any of it. Magda has been having an affair. Cheating on me with another guy. A Doctor, none the less. Makes me feel like I'm nothing in comparassion to him.
Juan: Oh Gabe, I'm sorry. I can't explain Magda's behavior. But I can tell you, you are NOT nothing. You are a real nice man, who loves his son and deserves better then her.
Just then Gabe gets a chill up his back when he discovers that Juan has moved his hand from previously resting in his lap, to now resting on the couch and the pinky of his left hand is brushing back and forth against Gabe's outer thigh.

Gabe unsure of what to make of what just happened, slides over a little to the left moving away from Juan, and proceeds to explain about what Magda has done to him. Juan, while listening, moves closer to Gabe. So now Gabe has the arm of the couch at his left side, and Juan firmly pressed against his right. Juan listens to Gabe talk, although not really listening to what he is saying. He is preoccupied with rubbing his left hand up and down Gabe's back. Gabe cuts himself off while talking about Magda, and addresses what his buddy of over 7 years is doing to him. Juan is the same man that he would have asked to be his best man, if Magda would have accepted his wedding proposal.

Gabe: Ok Juan. We definetly need to talk here. He says while standing up.
Juan: About?
Gabe: About?! About you coming on to me! I mean here I am trying to talk to you about my wife, and that she admitted that she had an affair with her Doctor, and you are.....you are coming on to me. I mean is this some kind of sick joke of yours? Because I know you are very well known for that. Gabe laughs trying to make light of what's happening.
Juan: No, no joke. I've always had feelings for you, Gabe. Just never knew when the right time was to make something of it. And I just thought that now was as good a time as any. I mean I figured you'd need a shoulder to cry on.
Gabe: Uhhh ok. Juan listen. I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything, but I'm now very uncomfortable being around you. If you choose to live your lifestyle that way, be my guest and I wish you the best of luck. But you are not going to live that livestyle with me as your LIFE partner. Sorry, man that just ain't going to happen. If you can swear to keep your feelings for me under control, then I will see if I can remain being friends with you. But you'll have to control yourself.
Juan: OK ok. I understand. That's fair enough, I suppose. I'm just upset you don't feel the same way. And I shouldn't have come on as strongly as I did, or at all. I just gave in to wanting you. I have been holding these feelings in for so long now.
Gabe gets a wierd look on his face but tries his best to handle the situation that has now happened right in front of his face.
Juan: But I promise. I will control myself. I'll have to. We've been friends for so long, we've been there for each other always and I don't want to compromise that.
Gabe: Well thank you I really appreciate that. But I do have one question.
Juan: Shoot.
Gabe: Well how long have you known that you were gay? I mean you were a ladies man back in high school! You were swimmin' in woman, buddy!
Gabe laughs as does Juan.
Juan: I know, I am a hottie what can I say.

Juan: Seriously though. It's not that I'm gay, I'm actually bisexual. And I have known for awhile now. I started having fantasies of dating people of the same sex when I was about 15 or so. But when I met you at 16 and we started hanging out I started to develop strong feelings for you, I was just confused then and didn't know what to do about it. It was right around the same time that all those woman were throwing themselves at me. Which of course I didn't mind! And I haven't had many dates in my life mostly because I had a hard time figuring out which side of me was stronger. The liking for male, or the liking for female companionship.
Gabe: I see. Well if it's any concilation, I'm glad you finally were able to get that off your chest. I"m sure it has helped you.
Juan : It did. But anyways, enough about that back to you and Magda. What are you going to do now? Split up??
Gabe: Well, I did propose to her awhile back as you know, but she never gave me an answer. Maybe it was because she was cheating on me. I don't know but after all, we do have a son together. You'd think she'd take that into account!
Gabe gets real quiet.
Juan: Gabe? Every time you get that look on your face, it never means anything good. What are you thinking?
Gabe: Well, I figure what better way to get back at Magda for doing this to me, then to give her a taste of her own medicine. Just take it one degree further. Juan, would you be willing to help me?
Juan: Oh you know it! I'm all for revenge.
Gabe: Good, this will be the sweetest revenge ever! And I'll talk to Ben and Jinny, and get them in on it. Hmmmm and maybe everyone at Magda's work too. I mean I'd have to otherwise this plan might backfire in my face.
Gabe thinks outloud, leaving Juan trying to read between the lines.
Gabe: Juan, one more question. Would you be willing to risk exposing your sexuality for sake of revenge?
Juan: Well I suppose I've been in the closet long enough right? He thinks for a second. Sure thing, you got it.
Gabe: Thanks you really are a true friend.
Gabe goes to hug his best buddy...then pulls back and changes his mind.
Juan: Uhh you can hug me you know, I swear I won't kiss ya!
Gabe: Ok. he says laughing.

They both hug and laugh ending the scene.

*Scene picks up at Magda's house. She's sitting on her couch in a bathrobe, with a cup of coffee on the coffee table in front of her and she is curled up with a good book. She tries hard to get involved in what she's reading, but just can't. Her mind is on Gabe, and what she has done to him. She fights with feelings of not caring that she hurt Gabe by sleeping with Jonah, because after all he left her and her baby alone. And then she has feelings of two wrongs don't make a right. And she knows she hurt Gabe deeply. But she tries to just push all that as far to the back of her mind as she can, and take a serious look at the book she's reading entitled "Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned." Just then she hears a knock on her door. She jumps from being startled, and goes to the door. Looking through the peep hole she sees it's Gabe, with some guy standing behind him. He looked familiar to her, but she wasn't quite sure where she had seen him before. *

Magda opens the door and steps back as Gabe walks right in with his new "friend" behind him.

Magda: Excuse you, Gabe?
Gabe: What is it Magda? You seem so shocked to see me! I mean I am the father of your kid, am I not? I have every reason to be in the house where my son is, don't I?
Magda: Yeah, but I think we both know that you're not here to see Ben, Gabe. You're here to make my life so much more harder then it already is.
Tears well up in Magda's eyes. Like they always do, when the situation gets to tough that she caused herself and doesn't want to handle it.
Juan looks at Gabe to make sure he still wants to do this. Gabe looks back at Juan with a nod of approval that pretty much says I sure do!
Gabe: Alright fine Magda. You got me. The reason I'm really here, is because, I have to tell you something. WE have to tell you something. he corrects himself.
Magda: Yeah who is he? I remember that I've seen him somewhere, but I can't put a name with the face.
Gabe: Magda, this is Juan. Remember? My best buddy since high school. He says rubbing Juan's arm.
Magda: Uh yeah. Ok.
Magda just gives them both a wierd look sensing something was wierd, but she tried to dismiss it as her overreacting.
Magda: Well what do you have to tell me?
Gabe: Well Magda. I realized very shortly after you told me you cheated on me that it was actually a blessing in disguise. It made me realize that I always had feelings for someone other then you, and that I always ignored it because I wanted to be faithful after coming back to you and Ben. But he's getting older. So if you think he can handle your affair with Jonah, then well I think he'll be able to handle mine with Juan.
Magda has an unexplainable look on her face as she hears what Gabe says and looks on as Juan links his arm in Gabe's, and Gabe rubs his arm back in return.
Magda: Oh God. I think I'm going to be sick! she says and runs to the bathroom. Sounds of puke hitting the water in the toilet, can be heard through the walls.
Gabe looks to Juan and Juan continues rubbing Gabe's arm.
Gabe: Hey quit it!!!
Juan: What honey??
Gabe: And don't call me honey!!! God! Ewww! This is pretend remember? Gabe asks wiping his arm off, as if Juan had some how given him a fatal disease.
Juan: Hey, call it what you want. But I'm enjoying every minute of it.
Gabe: Yeah I bet you are. But please. Spare me! You can chill out unless Magda's around you know!
Juan: Alright. Alright. I'm sorry. Ok?
Just then Magda comes out from the kitchen one hand hanging on to the wall to keep her standing up, and the other wiping the corner of her mouth. Juan quickly places his arm back around Gabe's before Magda notices it was even gone. Gabe now has a pale white look on his face looking like he wanted to puke himself.
Magda makes her way to the couch, and plops down sitting on the book she had previously been trying to read.
Oww! Screams Magda already pissed, and slams the book to the opposite side of the couch.
Magda: Ok Gabe. You can't be serious. Please tell me you're not serious!
Gabe: Would you like me to prove to you exactly how serious I am???

Magda: And how are you going to do th.....
But before Magda could finish her question, Gabe had already turned to Juan and with no hesitation had laid on one long, heated, and passionate kiss on Juan. And to anyone who knew that this was fake, would have had a hard time believing it was. Juan of course, took advantage of the situation that Gabe had created to get revenge on Magda. And he was more then pleased with what Gabe had done to cause such a drastic change of events. Magda while still sitting on the couch was trying to cover the fact that she looked somewhat interested and curious at what was happening right in front of her eyes. Gabe now had one hand on either side of Juan's face. And in case of the slim chance that Magda thought that any of this was fake, Gabe wanted to make sure he would rid her mind of any disbelief. And so, he then proceeded to tounge his best friend since high school causing such a RUSH of different emotions to come to him. Even though he wanted Juan to believe he didn't enjoy what he was doing to him, he knew deep inside himself that he did. He had told himself he wouldn't before setting this plan in motion he didn't even knw he was going to go to this length to convince Magda, but he had just convinced himself otherwise. But still hadn't planned on telling Juan....at least not yet.

HA!!! Gabe's gay!!!! That was unexpected....though,really great!!!! hehe Post more soon!!! I wanna know more about Gabe/Juan part lol :D

*It was one o'clock, and time for Jinny to meet Teddy at Anchorside. As she walked up to the door and reached for the handle, she was hit with a feeling of nervousness. Kind of the same feeling someone gets before the first day of school. She knew alot had happened between the time she slept with him, and the time she got his phone call, and she didn't know exactly how to go about explaining it all to Teddy. She did consider leaving out the "getting married to Jack part" but then how could a relationship with Teddy POSSIBLY work? She knew Jack would come into play eventually. And so, it was decided. She would spill her guts to Teddy, no matter what he thought or what his reaction was. Even though she hoped somehow, someway, he could understand.*

As Jinny walked in, she saw Teddy sitting down at the table where they first met. And she knew instinctively that he would be sitting there. She slowly approached him, as she saw him first. He was reading a newspaper, while alternating one hand from holding the left side of the paper to sipping the coffee in his tea cup. His hands were shaking some with nervousness, and she thought that was so cute of him. She smiled, as she stood beside him giving him a full grin.

Jinny: Teddy? Jinny asked with an unsure tone like she didn't believe it was really him sitting there...but it was.
Teddy: Jin?! Wow....uh hi, how are ya?
Jinny: Good. I'm good. (she was quiet for a moment) And you?
Teddy: Uh....good I suppose.
After Teddy noticed she was still standing, he asked her to sit but before she could pull the chair out for herself, Teddy was already on her side of the table doing it for her. She couldn't help but grin a girly grin at him.
Jinny: Thanks....Teddy. she barely managed to get out.
Teddy: It's no problem.
*Both got silent for a minute. Teddy finally spoke first.*
Teddy: Ok...so...Jin, what did you need to tell me?
Jinny instantly realized how much harder this was for her, then she had originally thought it would be. His voice had such an innocent tone, he was obviously very unaware of everything Jinny had done since the time they split up.
Jinny: Well, Teddy. I don't know how to say this...but to just say it. In the time that we were split up, I met someone...and we got married.
Teddy's face turned from an intense, concentrating look, to one of confusion, disapointment and shock.
Teddy: Ok, then. Uhhh go on.
Jinny: Go on? I'm surprised you're not heading for the door!
Teddy: Well I figured whatever news you had must have been major, seeing how you needed to see me in person rather then tell me over the phone. So, I figure the very least I can do is hear you out.
Jinny couldn't help but say the next words that came out of her mouth.
Jinny: God, now I know why I love you so much.
As soon as she said it she knew she couldn't take it back, and she wasn't even sure that she wanted to. Teddy meanwhile, just sat there with a small grin on his face.
Jinny: Also, during my marriage...I became a Stepmom to a little boy.
Teddy: Really?! he seemed a little shocked. Well, that sounds interesting. What's he like?
Jinny was taken a back.
Jinny: Well, I never got to meet him...actually. He lives in Tucson Arizona with his mom.
Teddy: Oh, oh I see. Well I'm sure you two would have gotten along great!
Jinny is amazed at how well Teddy is taking this news. She knows now, that she really stands a chance of getting back together with him.
Teddy: So, where's Mr. Romance now?
Teddy realizes immediately after he said that, he could have phrased his words better.
Jinny: Well.....ummmm to be honest, he's down at the town hall getting some of the divorce paperwork finalized...
Teddy cuts her off.
Teddy: I see. So you're not married anymore?
Jinny: Nope. We both realized that we just got lonely and were on the rebound more then anything else, and we just wanted some company. We were never really in love. And all we had in common, was that we were both recovering alchoholics, and I had slipped a couple of times, making him frustrated and tempted to drink himself. Then I got into mixing oxycottin with alcohol, and I was a complete mess. And we just weren't working out I wasn't good for him, and so I asked him to leave. Then came the divorce, and it was all downhill from there.
Teddy: Oh Jinny. he says simpathetically. All that has happened to you since we have been broken up?
Jinny: MMM hmmm. She confirms sipping on the water the waitress brought her.
Teddy: All I know, is that if I was him, you couldn't have kept me away from you if you're life depended on it. It's then that you need the most support, not someone giving in to you saying leave me alone. I made the mistake of walking away from you once, I won't do that again. But now I see why there was a divorce.
Jinny smiles pleasantly. Both in awe by his reaction, and pleased at the same time.
Jinny: Well, that basically covers my story. I'm currently clean for 6 months, and doing good. So God willing...
Teddy: Hey that's great Jin.
Jinny: Ok so, nuff' bout' me. She says getting a humorus tone now. Anyone interesting in your life since we've been apart?
Teddy: Well...I'd love to brag...but I can't. I haven't so much as dated anyone since we broke up.
Jinny didn't know where to put herself. NOW she felt more like a slut then ever.
Teddy realizes what he's just said and tries to take it back.
Teddy: Oh Jinny! I didn't mean what you're probably thinking...I just meant you've been the only one on my mind so I haven't wanted anyone else.
Jinny: Well, now I feel worse because I got married even though I didn't love him. And you never did. You held out for me. she says fighting back tears.
Teddy: Jin, don't be so hard on yourself. How about this? If I ever find anyone who comes even close to you in looks or personality, I'll date em. he jokes. Does that make you feel any better?
Jinny: Oh much! she says laughing.

They both laugh and stare into each others eyes. And as there smiles lessen, that moment is there. The moment they have never shared together even when they were seeing each other. It's when you can lock eyes with someone, and feel that strong electric bond that is rarely felt between two people. And as they both lean in, tilting there heads slightly, they come within inches of touching there lips to the other, when...

Meanwhile at Magda's house, after Gabe and Juan's kiss was over and done with, Gabe turned to Magda and asked if what had just occured was enough to make her believe that he was for real, or did she need more convincing. And at that, Magda didn't know what to say or do next. All she knew, was that this whole situation was sick, and Jerry Springer worthy. And it was definetly not what she ever imagined she could be part of. And with those thoughts in her head, she slid her way down the couch and onto the floor where she sat bewildered.

Gabe: Well, I'll take that reaction as your convinced. So...do you finally see what all this proved? That's what happens when you cheat, Mag. You turn your husband gay! he says with a tone of humor to his voice.
Magda: Gabriel, you really are sick. As if this ain't bad enough, can you imagine what this will do to Ben?!
Gabe: OH I'm sure it won't be that bad, I mean he thinks that Juan is "mad kewl" as he would say, so I don't think he should have much of a problem with it.
Magda: Oh really. Well it's nice to know you didn't even account for his feelings, if for some reason he WASN'T kewl with it.
Gabe: Well, he's getting older it's not like he's 5 anymore, Mag.
Magda is silent for a bit.
Magda: Well, if you are done with the advertising for all of Gay America in my living room, would you mind leaving it?
Gabe: You got it.
And with that, Gabe and Juan headed for the door...hand in hand.

Season 4 Episode 3

Honey, I'm Home

*It's a couple of days after Nate and CD both left the hospital and they are both at Nate's house cuddled up on the couch watching TV. Nate feels compelled to ask CD a question that has been driving him crazy since the day they both were hit with devistating accidents. CD being shot, and Nate being in a car accident.*

Nate: CD?
CD: Yes, my love.
Nate: CD...I have been wondering about something.
Nate: And what's that? she asks, while drawing a heart on Nate's chest with her first finger.
Nate: Well, I was wondering if you thing any of the people at work know we're dating?
CD: Well, I'm sure at least Raina, Jinny, and Kate know is pretty much everyone at work. Or at least everyone we associate with closely.
Nate: Really? How do they know?
CD: Uhhh due to my little slip of the tounge. she says wrinkling her nose at Nate.
Nate: Oh no, CD. What did you say?
CD: Well, I kind of called you my man to everyone in the waiting room when I heard you had been shot.
Nate: Oh you did, did you?
CD: Yes, I'm afraid.
Nate: Well, apparently they're ok with it I mean they haven't come up to us and said...
(CD cuts him off)
CD: They have to be ok with it. Cuz like it or not, I love you and you love me...
(Nate chimes in)
Nate: We're a happy family, with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you....
CD: Nate, you dork!!!
(Nate laughs)
Nate: Sorry babe, couldn' resist!
CD: HaHa. Anyway, as I was saying. They'll have to be ok with it. That's just the way it is.
Nate: Well, I'm glad you feel that way, because I have something to ask you.
CD: Ok what? she asks looking up at him with her baby face and blue eyes.
Nate: Uhhhh I can't ask you.
CD: OOOOOOOOK. But I thought you just said...
Nate: I know. What I meant was I can't ask you, YET. Uhhh I'll be right back. he says leaving CD sitting on the couch.

*He goes into his bedroom in a cold sweat, where he grabs the cake he had bought for him and CD out from in the closet. He writes something on it in blue icing, and heads out to CD...walking backwards. CD notices that and laugh,s asking him what he's doing.*

Nate: Nevermind, just don't move.
CD: Uh, ok. she says confused.
After Nate makes his way to the couch after almost falling over it due to his walking backwards, he finally turns around revealing to CD the most beautiful cake anyone has ever layed there eyes on. Almost as beautiful as a wedding cake, or maybe more so.
CD's eyes filled will tears and as they pour down her cheeks, she reads what Nate has written on the cake. The 7 words she sees, fill CD's mind to capacity.

"CD my love, will you marry me?"

*And as Jinny and Teddy both lean in, tilting there heads slightly, they come within inches of touching there lips to the other, when... the waitress walks up to them asking them if they decided what they had wanted for lunch yet. They couldn't believe the waitress could be so rude, and interupt what was obviously a very important moment. Once Jinny shot the waitress down with a death stare, she left and Teddy gave a slight chuckle.*

Teddy: Oh Jinny, you always could make me laugh.
Jinny: Yeah well, I still got it. she says, giving Teddy a wink.

*And so they ordered lunch and waited till they got to the privacy of Jinny's apartment where they proceeded to take care of business in a more private manner. Oh, how both of them had longed for each other for so long. And now they were together, and sex between the two of them was better then ever. After they were done fully enjoying each other, they took a shower and cuddled up on the couch to watch a movie.*

*Once Gabe and Juan had left Magda's apartment, then went to Juan's. There, they planned there next course of action. They had to let a few people in on what they were planning. Like Jinny and Ben. If they were going to prank Magda into thinking they were a couple, they would need some people on there side. Even though this whole ordeal was only meant as a prank to make Magda feel what it's like to be cheated on, Gabe NEVER expected to actually fall for Juan. But he did. And what was more surprising to him then that, was that he was actually thinking about hooking up with him for real. Besides, he wasn't going back to a cheating woman such as Magda, and so he didn't really have anyone to answer to. Anyone, but Ben that is. And so it was decided. Unless Ben had a problem with this prank gone real, then he would date Juan. And give it a shot. It wasn't like he had anything to lose.*

Gabe called Ben on the phone.

Ben: Hello? Dad! Hi. I thought I heard you before were you here awhile ago?
Gabe: Yes I was I had to talk to your mom for a bit. Ben listen, is your mom around you?
Ben: No she's in the living room I think. Last I knew she was reading a book, but I think I heard her go in the bathroom a little while ago. Why do you ask?
Gabe: Well, Ben, I have something to explain to you, and then ask you for a favor.
Ben: Sure Dad, what's up?

*Once Gabe explained what the plan was, Ben was all for it. He, like his Dad, HATED that Magda cheated on Gabe and broke up there now reunited family. And so, he was all for the plot to gain revenge on her. But, what Gabe didn't tell Ben, at least not yet, was that he seriously was considering dating Juan. And once Ben was on his side, getting Jinny on his side, he thought would be a harder task. Considering her close friendship with Magda. But he thought if he could bring it to her in a certain way she just might go for it. So, he called her on her cell."

Jinny: Inspector Exstead.
Gabe: Hi Jinny, it's Gabe.
Jinny: Oh hey stranga, long time no hear!
(Jinny was extra happy after having the conversation go so well with Teddy. And she didn't expect it to.)
Gabe: Yeah I know. We've both been busy, and I guess we never really had time to chat. I'm actually calling for a reason.
Jinny: Oh, do I get to watch Ben?? she asked excitedly.
Gabe had to laugh at that.
Gabe: Uh no actually. Boy you really get along great with him don't you?
Jinny: Oh yeah that's my sweet boy.
Gabe: I see. he said with a chuckle. Well, I'm calling about Magda.
Jinny: Oh boy. What's she done now???
Gabe: Well normally I wouldn't be going to you with this, but I know your her best friend and that what anyone tells you stays between you and that person. You are so loyal Jinny, that's one important quality that makes you a great friend.
Jinny: Uh thanks. she said dismissively.
Jinny never could take a compliment.
Gabe: Well, I don't know if she's told you this or not, I know you two are best friends but I don't know if she tells you absolutely everything or just some things.
Jinny: OH, I bet you I already know whatever it is you're talking about.
Gabe: Well, she cheated on me.
Jinny: Yup I knew that. she says with a slight chuckle.
Gabe: Wow, I guess you two ARE really close. he says, afraid she won't go along with the prank.
Jinny: Yeah we are. We've both been through alot you know?
Gabe: Oh yeah, I know. And I know you would have warned me ahead of time that she was going to cheat, if not for the whole loyalty thing.
Jinny: Well, yeah I definetly would have. But ya know, sometimes being loyal to one person, means being secretive to another.
Gabe: That's ok don't worry about it I understand. Look, the reason I'm calling is I need to know if you'd be willing to help me play a prank on Magda. Or if you wouldn't want any part of it. And if that's the case, it's alright I understand.
Jinny: Well, I guess it all depends on the prank. she says slightly confused still.

*Gabe explains the whole thing to her, with the exception of his actually liking Juan, and surprisingly she went for it. Jinny said she was always up for a good prank. Even if it was more like revenge, and not so much a prank. And if Magda would get mad that Jinny was a part of all this, then oh well. And what does Magda expect when she cheats? It affects more then just the two people that are cheating.*

And so with Ben and Jinny on board, it was now time to focus on pretending to be Juan's new boyfriend which of course Gabe didn't mind...one bit.

*The next day at the Division, Jinny went into Kate's office, and described to her how the meeting with Teddy, at the restaurant had gone. Just as she promised her she would. At this point, she didn't know if Kate seemed more like a good friend, or a mother figure to her. And then she realized she didn't have to decide one over the other, so why even try. *

CD: This can't be happening! CD said, with her voice cracking.
Nate: CD, please answer me. I can't take the wait any longer. Nate said while guiding CD's hands away from her face.
CD: Nate, oh my God Nate, of course I'll marry you!
Nate let out a deep and manly YEAH as he picked up CD and spun her around, while CD let out a girly shreek.
Nate: Oh I love you so much baby! he said after putting her down.
CD: OH my God, I'm engaged Nate, can you believe it?
Nate: I hope so. I proposed!
CD and Nate just grinned from ear to ear while staring into each others eyes, as Nate leaned in and gave CD the most passionate kiss they ever shared. Especially now as an engaged couple. Now all CD had to do, was give the news to her best friend. Jinny Exstead.

*After Jinny broke the news to her Captain/Friend/Mother figure, Kate gave her a reassuring hug and said how happy she was for Jinny. And as Jinny walked out of the office, and to her car her cell phone rang.*

Jinny: Inspector Exstead.
CD: Jinny? Jinny, it's CD. I have some wonderful news to tell you!
Jinny: Well let me guess. You're getting married right?
CD: How on earth did you know that?! CD smacked Nate's arm.
CD: Nate, did you tell her you were planning on proposing to me?
Nate: OWWW. And no I didn't.
Jinny: CD. Don't beat up Nate. she said with a chuckle. I just kind of had a feeling that's all. He didn't tell me anything!
CD: You had a feeling? she asks unconvinced.
Jinny: CD, I know you all to well. And Nate too. That is the only thing that I can think of, that would make you have such a happy sound to your voice. Well that, and being pregnant. Oh my God, you're not pregnant are you?!
CD: No. CD laughed.
CD: At least I don't think so! But in time I'm sure.
Jinny: Well, in any event, Congratulations!
CD: Thanks, Jin.
Jinny: You're welcome. I hate to cut this short, but Teddy is expecting me to meet him for lunch. But we will definetly have to set aside some girl talk time.
CD: Oh for sure. It was great talking to you.
Jinny: OH yeah same here. I'm so happy for you! We'll have to double some time.
CD: Of course! Well, talk to ya later Jinny.
Jinny: Bye CD.

*As time went on, everytime Magda would run into Gabe he would always be stuck to Juan's side. In this instance, everyone from The Division was dispersed all over the yearly carnival in San Francisco. And as much as it sickened Magda to see them together, she tried to not let it show. Hoping if Gabe thought it didn't phase her, he would stop showing off. But it only caused Gabe to hang all over Juan all the more. He was clearly exagerating his actions, to get to Magda. And everything those two did, made Magda wrench all the more. Even when she would pass a glance in Jinny's direction, she seemed kewl with it. And Magda couldn't understand. Why was Jinny acting like it didn't bother her? Granted she's not as into gossip as Raina is, but she figured Jinny would still come to her with a few questions. Finally, Magda couldn't take it anymore.*

Magda: Jinny, you can't seriously be ok with this?!
Jinny: Mag. if they're happy shouldn't you be happy?
Magda: Oh my God. This is unbelieveable. She said walking away wobbly while holding her head.
Jinny let out a smirk in Gabe's direction, as Gabe gave a thumbs up to Jinny and mouthed the words "Good job." Jinny winked, and went after Magda.

Hey Tara!!!!!! Awwwwwwwwwwwwww thanks for the sweet comments! I loved writing that part too. Thanks so much for quoting those parts of my fic! I love it when people do that. hehe I did my best to try and write it so that you can kind of picture what it would look like if that actually happened on TD. I will write more on BOTH fics ASAP. But times are like so hectic now. Between work being busy, and Christmas, and taping for Kelly and Jessie, things have been really insane. But I figure I should at least write bits and pieces even if I can't write a huge part at once. IF I can get my room straightened out, and another tape going for Jessie, and my Christmas stuff put away in my house before 3 AM, then I may pop back on here and type a small part before bed, and that's IF my ******* uncle doesn't go online. Sucks I gotta work tommoroww, and don't know what time. I'll have to call in and find out in the AM. I took a late nap, so I can probably sleep later then usual tonight. I have been sooooooooo tierd after getting 4 hours of sleep all week cuz of Christmas shopping and all, and I didn't even have time to get everything I wanted. *Back at Nate's apartment, he had made sure to set up a beautiful treat for CD. One that would relax her, and put her at ease for all the upcoming stress that always comes before a wedding. He had rose petals laid out beautifully on his bed, a bathtub full of hot bubbly water, and candles covering every inch of his bedroom and bathroom. About ten minutes before he did all this, he called CD and asked her to come over to his apartment. All he said was that it was important and she should come over immediately. Of course, CD complied. Once Nate had everything all set up there was a knock on his door, and not a moment too soon.*

Nate: Hello.
CD: Baby, it's me silly! Your door's locked. Let me in!
Nate: UHHHH I know it is. I'm coming! he said fumbling around for something to use as a blind fold on CD. Finally he finds an old shirt he can make no more use out of, and decides that's good enough. He rips the arm off and hurries to the door.
Nate: OK CD. Just do me a favor first.
CD: OK, what?
Nate: Turn around and close your eyes.
CD: OK. she says while laughing.
Nate opens the door and blindfolds CD.
CD: Oooooh kinky are we?
Nate: Noooooo. at least not yet he says sighing.

*Once CD is blindfolded, Nate pulls her towards him leaving CD walking backwards.*

CD: Nate what are you doing? she asks giggling.
Nate: Just trust me.
CD: OK. she says hesitantly.

*Nate leads CD into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him, and then unblindfolds her. CD stands there breathless not knowing what to make of what Nate has done for her.*

CD: Nate! What on earth is all this?
Nate: This plus what's waiting for you outside the door, is what I was working on for an hour right before I called you.
CD: Oh my God, Nate. It's beautiful in here!
Nate: Well, thank you and I would hope so. I worked on it long enough. he says relieved.
CD: Wow. is the only word she could muster.
Nate: Well, should we get in?
CD: Oh definetly.

*As they both undress and climb in the tub, the flames on the candles flicker as they make a breeze moving there bodies from the outside of the tub to the inside. They start by taking turns bathing each other, then once they're all clean they decide to make it a more initimate occasion by fondling, caressing, and touching each other as only they know how. Once the foreplay is over with, they both decide to take the rest of this to the bed. And CD has no idea what is in store for her there.*

Nate: Alright CD open the door and walk to the bed, but be careful where you step.
CD: Uh OK. CD says confused but once she opens the door she instantly understands.

*There are candles leading all the way from the bathroom to the bedroom. And once she reaches the bedroom, she is shocked to find every ince of the bed covered in rose petals, and both night stands on either side of his bed has a dozen roses. It's like a sea of flowers and candles...just the way CD likes it.*

CD: Oh my God, Nate. CD says as she turns around to face him and gives him one long passionate kiss, tounge and all.

*Once they pull away, CD takes over this romantic evening that Nate has set up, and she pulls him on to the bed and on top of her as she lays down. It's at this point that CD realizes now more then ever, how much she really loves Nate and how she would do anything and everything for him. In her mind it's all about Nate. And in Nate's mind it's all about CD.*

*While CD and Nate are celebrating there engagement, elsewhere Juan and Gabe are still working hard to convince Magda that they really are a couple. Gabe of course likes this game. After all he's actually bi and has liked Juan this whole time he just never made anything of it, because of Magda and embarassing her and Ben. But once he checked with Ben and Jin and they were both up for the joke on Magda, he decided maybe after this prank was over, he would give homosexuality a try. After all, he had plenty of support, and he didn't really care what Magda thought. And niether did anyone else. She cheated on him after all, so now he's a free man even if it's with ANOTHER man. Gabe's first course of action to mess with Magda's head, was to spy on her. So when she doesn't think anyone's around, is when Gabe will be able to get into her mind and see what she's really thinking. And so Gabe and Juan go back to Magda's house, and stand outside her bedroom window which she always keeps open. And as she gets on the phone, they can hear her crystal clear. Because as we all know, she's not the quietest one in her family, nor the brightest bulb on the tree.*

Magda: Hi operator, could I have the number for Crazy People R Us, please?
Juan: Crazy People R Us? Why would she be calling a shrinks office?
Gabe: Who knows?! Maybe she's turning herself into the loony bin.

*Juan can't help but laugh out loud at that, and Gabe is quick to cover his mouth before they get caught. And after peeking through the window to see that Magda didn't hear anything, Gabe slowly moves his hand away from Juan's mouth and gives him a quick kiss before forcing himself to pull away, otherwise he knows it would have gotten to the extent where they'd have to go back to Juan's place. And as they listen in once again, they figure out why Magda had called a physciatrists office.*

Magda: Hi Doctor? Yes I just wanted to make an appointment. Mmm Hmm. Oh you have an opening today? Yes. 4PM is perfect. Well, I'll explain more when I get there, but basically it has to do with my ex-husband and his new partner. Yes. Ok thank you very much, see you in an hour.
Gabe: Oh my God, I don't believe this! Gabe says to Juan trying to hold back a gut wrenching laugh as he walks away from Magda's window, with Juan close behind him.
Juan: We have got to follow her there.
Gabe: Oh we will. he says getting in the car with Juan and driving to the Doctor's office to wait for Magda.

*Back at Nate's house, him and CD are out of the tub, and relaxing on the couch when they get a phone call. It's Jinny. *

Nate: Hello? Oh hey Jin. What's up? Really? Ummm I think CD would really like that.
CD: I'd like what babe?
Nate waves his hand at her trying to shuush her.
CD: Come ooooon.
Nate: CD, please! he says with a chuckle trying to keep CD from yanking the phone away from him.
Nate: No Jin, CD's just being a pain in my ass right now.
OWWWWWW! Nate yells when CD pinches him down below.
CD: How's THAT for a pain?!
Nate: Damn you! he says as he quickly gives the phone to CD.
CD: Yay! I win!
Nate: No you don't. You'll pay for that later.
CD: Oooooh. Can't wait!
You can hear Jinny through the reciever.
Jinny: Come on you guys, cut it out or I'll take back my offer.
CD: What offer?
Jinny: Well, I was TRYING to ask Nate if you and him wanted to double with us. We're going out to the movies tonight. Just something fun, we haven't done in awhile.
CD: Ohhh I would like that. Sounds great. When are you two going?
Jinny: Um as soon as Teddy quits with the Playstation and gets dressed. He's just in his Garfield boxers right now. she says laughing while throwing a shirt at him.
Teddy: Well damn, tell the whole world why don't ya, Jin!! He yells making Jinny and CD laugh all the more.
CD: Well, as soon as you can tear the boy away from his toy, gimmie a call.
Jinny: I will. I just always thought I was his toy.
Teddy: What on Earth are you two girls talking about over there?!
CD and Jinny: Nothing! They say in unison.
Jinny: Alright CD, I'll call ya soon.
CD: Alright sounds good looking foward to it. Bye for now.
Jinny: Bu-Bye.

*Once Magda arrives at the Shrinks office, Gabe and Juan had already been there for about a half an hour. They disguise themselves with baseball caps, and while keeping there heads low, follow Magda as she goes in to the building. Now with Magda sitting in the waiting room opposite where they're sitting, they're afraid they'll be recognized, but Magda is paying no mind. Her head is totally elsewhere.*

Doctor: Mrs. Ramirez? The doctor calls from the office door.
Magda follows her into the office, and instantly scans the room for a couch that she knows every therapists office has.
Magda: Umm Doctor, where's your couch?
Doctor: Umm, I'm sorry but THIS particular Ritz Hotel doesn't have one. She says so sarcastically.
Doctor: But we do have a big comfy chair for ya. You know, like on Blue's Clues?!
Magda: Yeah funny. Anyway, when do I get to start telling you my problems?
Doctor: Now. she says with a sigh.
Magda: OK well, here it goes. And as Magda explains her WHOLE problem with Gabe, and Juan, and there relationship to the Doctor, the Therapist tries extremely hard to refrain from laughing after all, she had never heard anything like this before.

* And with Magda rattling on, Gabe and Juan have both there ears pressed firmly to the door, doing there own laughing on the outside of the door. After all, the secretary at the front desk was too busy being unstable and crying about her boyfriend and blabing on the phone to her girlfriend, to even notice that Gabe and Juan had walked up to the office door and were now listening to Magda's dramatics.*
