Some of you (like Peter May) include publicity group photos of the "Wings" cast with your messages, and there are people who sell photos such as these on eBay....
I am always amazed at the quantity and uniqueness of these photos. Most of the ones from the early seasons are pretty straightforward....Helen sitting on her lunch counter between Joe and Brian, the cast sitting on luggage in the hangar, etc....
However, many of the photos from the later years are VERY imaginative....cast members dressed in WWI Flying Ace garb while looking up at the sky, the group playing with a bunch of toy airplanes, etc. (Most of these imaginative, and sometimes even BIZARRE shots are from the "Casey" years).
The publicity photo output for this series was quite impressive....especially since "Wings" never seemed to be promoted by NBC to begin with, and since they were still having numerous publicity photo sessions so late in the series' run.
One thing is common among all of the "Wings" photos from all of the seasons....the cast always looks like they're having FUN posing for those pictures!
