Lucky you. Here it's 3. I had my 3 credits after sophomore year since chem was a 2 credit class but I took Bio II just to be on the safe side.

I think what they should do for all schools is have an alternative to dissecting. Have different animals to dissect on the computer. That wouldn't be as bad as dissecting the real deal. Hell, some schools might even do it, but mine didn't do that.

I only had to do dissecting in 9th grade. We dissected a frog, squid, and grasshopper. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be and the day after we dissected the squid, my teacher made us calamari. Yum, I love seafood. :D

I do see what you mean. And it is terribly painful to see so many couples just all over each other all the damn time. But reverse roles for just a second. We didn't have junior dues but so much money this year. $80 for senior dues and a yearbook, $50 for the all night party, $25 for a parking permit, God only knows how much for senior pictures, college application fees...good thing my mom is paying for all of this.

Bill got dealt some tough blows. Just goes to show fame and money can't bring you happiness. I feel that Brenda was pretty damn stupid, jmo. I do not feel suicide is an answer any which way. If she had lived through Chris' death and just came out as a survivor, I wouldn't think she was stupid. No Chris dies and then she shoots herself. The second one was a batch, plain and simple. He had a VERY old mattress, two VERY flat pillows, and a VERY old and dirty sleeping bag that was his only blanket. His bed had no frame, so it was on the floor and it was all holey. The girl had one of those beds that folded up to be put in storage, but it sagged a lot and she had 2 flat pillows too, and two very thin blankets. Every night, the mom would come home MAJORLY drunk and would yell at her kids and it disturbed everybody else in the building. Finally, before I finished 8th grade, my landlord kicked them out. In January 2002, when I was a junior in HS, the mom passed away of liver problems - from all that drinking she did.

And they practically had zero clothes. The boy only had 2 shirts and a pair of pants. The girl only had 5 shirts and two pairs of pants. Don't get me started on their bedrooms - the boy had NOTHING. He had a VERY old mattress, two VERY flat pillows, and a VERY old and dirty sleeping bag that was his only blanket. His bed had no frame, so it was on the floor and it was all holey. The girl had one of those beds that folded up to be put in storage, but it sagged a lot and she had 2 flat pillows too, and two very thin blankets. Every night, the mom would come home MAJORLY drunk and would yell at her kids and it disturbed everybody else in the building. Finally, before I finished 8th grade, my landlord kicked them out. In January 2002, when I was a junior in HS, the mom passed away of liver problems - from all that drinking she did.

Ugh, that's terrible. :( Why do people have to f**k up their lives like that with no regard for their loved ones?

My school kept raising the snack machine prices. 75cents for everything. You can buy all that at the store for a lot less. The senior shirts were way overpriced so were the yearbooks and the prom tickets. They used basically all the money we had on the dang football team.

Food is so expensive at my school, good thing I don't have a lunch this year. $1 for most drinks, 60 cents for a pack of gum, but the one that really gets me is that in one line a can of Arizona lemonade is $1.25 but you can buy the same exact can in the school store for $1. :confused: I think I may be one of the only people to notice this.

Yeah I had a good friend, who drank ,took drugs and was not responsible and stabe. I helped raised her daughter, who, became a daughter to me and to this day, I consider this little girl my child, well my friend had her child taken away from her because of her addictions.:(

The lunch prices were absurd. One slice of pizza was like 2$. I didnt eat lunch though.

I swear they need to separate the focking football team and make them go to a separate school. Let the players use their money for the yearbooks, drinks, food and other stuff to buy their own shat.

My yearbook was $54. It's a book with some ugly pics in it...trust me, it's not worth that much.
My school pisses their money away on the football team too, because they're one of the #1 teams in the state. So what? They're still not worth it.

Sad that the kids had to live thru that. I would have called Dept. of Human Services. Maybe they could have gotten the kids a decent home.

My school spends all the money on all the guys teams, it doesn't matter what sport it is. The girls teams get screwed. The practice at absurd times because guys get gym time first and they hardly ever get new equipment. Good thing I play golf and we use the same bags the boys do and don't practice at school so no one can screw us over.

I'm sure you'd have been doing them a favor. The mother might have even gotten help, if she'd lost the kids, maybe.

The yearbook prices were pretty stable til my senior year... It was $35 to preorder one BEFORE Christmas, $45 after Christmas til the end of May to preorder and you had to pay $55 in the fall of the next school year for your yearbook (we don't get our yearbooks when school ends - we have to wait til the NEXT school year for our yearbooks...that means the seniors who graduated the year before have to have theirs mailed to them). When I was a senior, they raised the yearbook prices by $10! 45 before Christmas, 55 after Christmas til May and now it'll be 65 when school starts next week. I didn't preorder mine but i want to get one and now I have to fork over $65. :wallbang

Senior shirts here were $10 and if you wanted the former Satan logo put on, you had to pay $5 -- not too bad, if you ask me. *shrug*

We don't get our yearbooks at the end of the year either. We get them sometime in the beginning of September of the next school year. And they don't even mail them to the seniors. You either have to come back or have a parent come and pick it up for you.

Same here, but we don't get ours till October. I wish they'd have the decency to mail the damn things...when I graduate, I don't want to come back for ANYTHING!
