'Hello. This is Dr. Ryans. I'm looking for Mr. Nate Basso. We found an in case of emergency card in Candace DeLorenzo's pocket. Please call Mercy hospital right away. Thank you.'
"OH GOD!! What happend?? I have to get over there right away."

"Hello. I'm Nate Basso. I'm looking for Dr. Ryans."
"I'll get her for you. You can wait in the waiting room."
"OK, just please hurry."

"Nate Basso?"
"Yes. I'm Nate"
"Hi. I'm Dr. Ryans. I treated Candace DeLorenzo when she came in.
"What happend??"
"She was shot in the chest. We think she got into an argument with another officer who was found in the aprtment with her."
"Is she going to be alright??"
"She is about to go into surgery to get the bullet out. We won't know anything until then."
"Thank you."

(Nate had called Kate, Jinny, Magda, and Raina. They all came to the hospital.)

Raina: Hey Nate. How's CD doing?
Nate: She is in surgery. They won't know anything until she gets out though.
Kate: All we have to do is hope and pray.
Jinny: How about Magda and me go to Liz's apartment and see if anyone saw anything.
Magda: That's a good idea. We'll be back soon.

(At Liz's apartment)
Jinny: Oh my gosh. Look at this place. What the hell happend?
Magda: Let's start knocking on some doors.
Jinny: Hello Mister. I am Inspector Exstead. This is my partner Inspector Ramirez. We are investigating the crime that has been commited here tonight at apartment 6B. Did you see or hear anything?
Neighbor: Well, let's see. I'm the pest around here so I hear everything that goes on around here. What have you got to offer? Money would be nice. Maybe some jewlery?
Jinny: OK, listen up. If you don't tell me what went on here you are going to be considered an accompliss. Now, is that what you want? You talking about jail time here.
Neighbor: GEEZ..must be her time of the month. Well, they were talking about this girl named Gina and Liz said she skilled Gina by an injection into her IV. Then Liz pulled out a gun and pointed it at CD. Then CD threw something at Liz. Liz shot but missed. CD shot and hit Liz, then before Liz went down, she shot CD. That's all I know.
Magda: Wait, if you only listened in, how could you see that?
Neighbor: Oh, I'm also the spy of the place. I look in peekholes.
Jinny: Yeah, OK. You need to come down to the station and make a formal statement.
Neighbor: Yeah, whatever. (he left)

Jinny: Oh my god. Look at all the blood.
Magda: I know. You really think you know someone.
Jinny: Let's get back to the hospital.

(back at the hospital)
Nate: Hey guys. What did you find out?
Jinny: Well, it looks like CD shot Liz before Liz shot her. Liz also killed Gina, one of the three convicts that escaped.
Magda: Liz died from CD's shot.
Nate: That's my girl! (wiping a tear away)
Jinny: OOHH....excuse me. (goes to the bathroom)
Kate: Is she alright? Magda...
Magda: OK. I'll go check on her.
Raina: I'm going to go find out what's going on.
Kate: Nate, are you alright?
Nate: Of course I'm not alright. Why...
Kate: I know it's hard. She's my friend too.
Nate: She is more than a friend.
Kate: I know.

(In the bathroom)
Magda: Jin, are you alright?
Jinny: (coughing) yeah...ooh...i'm fine.
Magda: Are you sure?
Jinny: Yeah. (comes out of stall)
Magda: God Jin, you look like hell.

Magda: You know what I meant. Now, what's going on?
Jinny: Well, you know that night before Jack left?

(back in the waiting room)
Raina: CD is out of surgery. The doctor will be out soon to talk to us.
Nate: What if it's bad news? What if...
Kate: Nate, what if its good news?
Nate: Yeah, you're right.
Kate: Jinny, are you OK?
Jinny: Yeah I'm fine.
Magda: Yes, just too much fun the other night!!!! (Magda chuckles)

Kate: What was that supposed to mean?

Surgeon: Who's here for Candace DeLorenzo?
Nate: Is she going to be alright?
Surgeon: I am afraid I've got some bad news.

Surgeon: We got the bullet out in time. But during the surgery, she slipped into a coma. There is no telling how long she will be in this coma or if she will come out of it. I'm so sorry.
Nate: (sits down and sobs)
Surgeon: However, there is a special surgery that we can perform that might bring her out of this but let's wait to do that. She has been through alot.
Kate: Can we see her?
Surgeon: In about an hour you can come in. Sometimes just talking to the patient helps.
Nate: Thank you.
Surgeon: If you need me you know where to find me.

(they all sit down and start talking)
Jinny: Excuse me!!!! (runs to the bathroom)
Kate: OK Magda. What the hell is wrong with her?????
Magda: Nothing. Just had some bad Chinese food last night.
Kate: Uh huh.
(Jinny comes back out)
Raina: Are you alright?
Jinny: Yes, why does everyone keep asking me that. It's just the flu.
Kate: Magda told me it was the Chinese food last night.
Jinny: What? I hate Chi...Yeah, uh, Chinese. Right.
Nurse: You can all see her now.

(CD's room)
Nate: oh...she looks so helpless. (tears in his eyes)
Jinny: Oh, don't worry about her! She is a tough old broad. She'll make it through fine. (tears start coming in her eyes) Excuse me...(again runs to the bathroom)
Raina: She does know that there is a can right here.
Jinny: (peeks her head in the door) Magda, come here for a minute, please?
Magda: Yeah?
Jinny: I don't think I'm supposed to be this nauseated. I'm going to see one of the doctors here.
Magda: Want me to come with you? You were there for me when I had my scare.
Jinny: I thought you would never ask.
Magda: Cap, Jin and I will be right back. We have to go do something really quick OK?
Kate: OK.
Raina: There is something fishy going on there.
Nate: Maybe we should talk to her. The doctor said it would help.
Kate: Let's give it a try.
Nate: Hey partner. You trying to get some attention or something? We all miss you. Just please..(sobs)...wake up. Please? Oh, I can't do this.
Nurse: Hi. I'm sorry to intrude but the surgeon knows it's soon but he has an opening at 9:00 tomorrow morning if you want to do the surgery.
Nate: Could we have a minute?
Nurse: Sure. I'll be in soon.
Nate: Well?
Kate: I think we should do it. Whatever we have to do to save her life.
Nate: OK. I'll go tell the nurse.

(Meanwhile, Jinny's exam)
Doctor: Well, Miss Exstead, we'll just draw some blood and see if you're pregnant, OK?
Jinny: Whatever you have to.
Magda: You scared?
Jinny: Very.
Doctor: OK. There we go. We'll have the results soon. Where will you be?
Jinny: We are visiting a friend upstairs. I'll be there for awhile. But if you see me there, don't say it out loud. Just call me out to the hall or something OK?
Doctor: Well, a nurse will be coming up but I will be sure to tell her ok?
Jinny: Thank you very much.

(Next morning. CD is in surgery)
Nate: I have never been so scred in my life.
Kate: Everything will be just fine.
Jinny: Absolutely. There is nothing to worry about.
Nurse: Jinny Exstead?
Jinny: Yes that's me.
Nurse: I have you test result.
Jinny: Well, let's go out..
Nurse: You are indeed pregnant. You should visit with your OBGYN to see how far along you are.
Jinny: (with a very disgusted look on her face) Thank you.
Nurse: No problem.
Raina: Jinny?
Kate: uh...
Jinny: Excuse me.
Nate: Magda? What's going on. I thought Jack left for Tousan?
Magda: Well, Jack stayed over Jinny's house the night before he left. They had alot of goodbye to say.
Kate: Well, I thought I lived to see everything, but Jinny, a mom. That's scary. (they all start laughing)
Jinny: Are you done talking about me?
Raina: When were you going to tell us?
Jinny: Well, Raina, you found out when I did. Gosh, me, a mom. that's scary isn't it? (they all start laughing again)

Doctor: She is out of surgery.

Doctor: Nothing. I am pleased to tell you I hear not one but two heartbeats.

Jinny: (happy tears starting to appear)

Raina: Jinny. How was your meeting?

Jinny: I had an appointment with my OBGYN and it looks like I will be having twins. (they all go over to hug her)

Magda: (combination of laughing and rolling her eyes) Jin, every mother in the world goes what you are going through when she's pregnant. It's completely normal. But if you want, I will take you to your OBGYN tomorrow and we'll ask her if she should do an amniocentesis. OK?
Jinny: Do you really think that's necesary? OH GOD! You think there is something wrong, don't you.
Magda: Jinny, it was just a suggestion.
Jinny: Well, I can't tomorrow. I'm inviting my dad and Casey over for dinner. I still haven't told them.
Magda: Alright, well, just let me know if you want me to take you.

(There was a cake and a banner for CD when she came in)
Everyone at the Division: SURPRISE!!!!!!
CD: OH!! This is a surprise. You didn't have to do this.
Nate: Yes we did.
CD: Nate, were you in on this?
Nate: Of course.
Kate: Hi CD. I do have to say that I didn't expect you back so soon.
CD: Well, I was so sick of sitting in a bed all day.
Kate: I know that feeling. Well, here is your first case. There was a baby girl, approxamately 24-48 hours old, found dead in a dumpster. They stuck a sock in her mouth. From the looks of her, she was prbably never even fed. Our Division is all over this one.
CD: We're on it. We'll go talk to some people in the nieghborhood and see if they noticed anything.

(Jinny's apartment that evening)
(the table was all set and at the place settings, Jinny's place card said Mommy, Casey's said uncle and her dad's said Grandfather)
Jinny: (goes to answer the door) Hi Dad. Casey.
Dad: Hi Jinny Girl. So what's the big news?
Jinny: Here. Let me take your coats. You guys go and sit down.
Casey: Ok. Wow. The table looks great. Dad...come look at the place settings.

Magda: She thinks it might be withdrawl symptoms from when you were using. She set up an appointment for you in the morning.
She will take a look at you and talk to you but for the night, you will have to deal with the pain Nothing is dangerous for the babies though OK?
Jinny: Ok. Thanks again Magda.
Magda: Sure thing! Get some rest Sweetie.
Jinny: Night.

(The Division the next morning)
Kate: CD, Nate, did you get anything from the neighbors?
CD: Not a thing. Where do we go from here. No one saw anything and there was no evidence on the body to suggest who killed her.
Kate: I have a talk with the DA. Where's Jinny?
Magda: Oh she has a docotr's appointment. She told me to tell you she will be in later.
Kate: Tell her to call me next time OK?
Magda: OK.
Nate: How about we go get some breakfast CD?
CD: Yeah sure. Captain, can we?
Kate: Well, OK. but don't be long. Im going to talk to the DA now.
Nate: Sure thing. We'll be back. (they leave)
Kate: So is Jinny OK? She just went to the doctor.
Magda: Well, she started having really bad stomach pains last night. So the doctor wanted to see her.
Kate: Nothing wrong I hope.
Jinny: No. Nothing's wrong.
Kate: Jinny, I didn't mean to talk about you behind your back or anything. I was just worried.
Jinny: I know. Good news is that everything is ok. Do you guys want to know something.
Magda: What?
Jinny: I found out the sexes of the babies.
Kate: OOO..Tell us!!!
Jinny: I have two beautiful girls!!!!!

Hmmmm.... how about something like this:

Nate pulls up at the house where the dance is. He still can't believe how amazing CD looks in the dress she's wearing tonight. Smiling at each other they walk inside and he introduces her to his whole family.
After a while he finally works up the courage to ask her to the dancefloor and they spend the rest of the evening slowdancing in each other's arms and don't even stop when the music has stopped already, because all they are aware of is each other.

Well I dunno, I just scribbled that up there, didn't think about it too much. Just ya know, add a romantic flair to it.

Jinny: I told him no. I didn't want him coming back to me just because I got pregnant. That's not right.

Doc: So, are you excited about becoming a mom?
Jinny: To tell you the truth, I'm scared.
Doc: Of what Jinny?
Jinny: What if I raise the kids to be rapists or killers or something?
Doc: Jinny, if they grow up to be those things, it's because they chose to be those things. All you have to do, is love, nurture, and protect them. And I'm sure you will do all of those things.

Jinny: Well, I have to get back to work.
Doc: Will I be seeing you next week?

CD: So, tell me. What's the deal with your folks?
Nate: We just don't get along really. They have always hated the women I saw and I don't want to be discouraged by them. I also don't want them hurting you.

Nate: CD, I know I have to tell them. I know that. Can't it just wait a little longer.
CD: How about we put my Mom and your parents together and tell them together and don't let the other one's parents discourage them OK?
Nate: Are you saying that your Mom would do the same thing?
CD: To tell you the truth, I don't know if she would even really care. We haven't spoken in a while. The last time I spoke to her was when she came here to San Francisco. I just don't know.
Nate: Well, how about we elope or just forget to tell them and not invite them to the weding.
CD: I can't do that. I always dreamed of having my father walk me down the isle ever since I was a little girl. It's bad enough that my father won't be there. I need at least my Mom there. Now, c'mon.

CD: So how about next Wednesday night, we have our parents over here for dinner and we'll tell them together OK?

Jinny: Well, these babies are kicking me an awful lot and I didn't think they were supposed to kick this much, this early.
Dr. Wade: I was going to tell you at your next appointment.
Jinny: Tell me what?
Dr. Wade: Where did you first find out you were pregnant?
Jinny: Mercy Hospital, why?
Dr. Wade: And they told you you were 12 weeks?
Jinny: Yes, at that time.
Dr. Wade: Well, Jinny, after examining you, I would say you are about 6 months.
Jinny: (stunned) 6 months...Are you absolutely sure????
Dr. Wade: Very. Now when you come in to your next appointment, I will show you how I know that. OK?
Jinny: (still stunned) Yes, that's fine. Thank you.

Everyone, I realized I made a mistake. I just realized that her OBGYN told her she was 12 weeks, not the hospital. I wanted it so the hospital told her she was 12 weeks, so just pretend the hospital told her that!!

(Jinny called Magda after she spoke to the doctor)
Magda: Hello??
Jinny: Magda, you are never going to believe this.
Magda: What? What's wrong???
Jinny: They screwed up. I'm actually 6 months pegnant.
Magda: Are you serious? (with a worried look on her face)
Jinny: Very. Will you go shopping with me tomorrow? I need to buy cribs and things like that.

Kate: So when should we have it?
Magda: Well, it's Thursday night. How about Monday morning?

Magda: Jinny and I are going baby shopping tomorrow after work. We'll leave 15 minutes early so you can tell the others. Remember, mums the word!!!!!

Doctor: Because your twins are very premature but you have had good prenatel care so a C-section is only a possibility.

Ronnie: Jinny had her first baby. It's a girl.
CD: How is the baby?

Manager: I'm the manager here and all I heard were the gunshots and then when I came over here, all I saw was Johnny on the ground.
Nate: How many gunshots did you hear?
Manager: Inspector, when you hear gunshots at your gas station, all you care about is what happend, not how many shots were fired.
CD: We understand that but we have to know all the facts. Can you give us an estimate?
Manager: I don't know. Maybe 12, 13.
Nate: Thank you.
Manager: Yeah, whatever.
Nate: I don't like that guy's attitude.
CD: There was just a shooting at his gas station. Of course he's upset.
Nate: It's something else.

(The next day at Jinny's hospital bed. It's almost noon)
Magda: Hey, Jinny.
Jinny: Hi. I'm almost ready to go. I'm just getting Veronica dressed.
Magda: Hello Veronica. You are so cute.
Jinny: They are both so beautiful. I can't believe how beautiful they are.

(Just then, there is a knock on the door and there stood Jinny with a double stroller.)

Jinny: I'd be much better if these little girls would let me sleep. (laughs)

(Now we go to the Chapel of Love 2 weeks later on the day of the wedding)

Jinny- How did you get them to let you have a fourty five minute ceremony and a wedding dress??? (laughs)
CD- I'm a cop. All I gotta do is show them my badge!
Jinny- I see.
Raina- (Comes bursting into the room) It's time you guys.
CD-(Takes a deep breah) Ok I am ready.

(They walk out of the room and they get into their lines. The music started playing. First comes Jinny walking down the isle. She smiles at Kate who is holding one of her daughters and Magda holding the other one in their pretty pink fluffy dresses. Then came CD. She looked absolutely beautiful. She had a big fluffy white dress that sparkled and a veil that look like a crown. It was gorgeous. When Nate saw her coming down, he was stunned. He actually had tears in his eyes. He grabbed her hand and they smiled at eachother)

Priest- Dearly beloved, we are gathered her today to witness....

(CD and Nate weren't paying attention. They just looked at eachother.)

Priest- Do you Nathan take Candace DeLorenzo to be your lawfully wedded wife?
Nate- I do!
Priest- And do you Candace take Nathan Basso to be your lawfully wedded husband?
CD- I do.
Priest- Then, if there are no objections--

(The babies started crying.)

Jinny- They are not objecting. Go ahead. (laughs)
Priest- Well then, if no one over the age of 1 objects, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.
CD- I love you.

CD- That was fun. (Look sover at Nate) This is the happiest day of my life.

DJ- Okay Now let's hear it from the groom.. (Everyone claps)
Nate- (Leans over to CD) I didn't know I would have to be giving a speech. What do I say??
CD- Just say what's in your heart.
Nate- (Had to laugh)
CD- Okay I know that sounded corny but you know what I meant.
Nate- Yeah. (Kissed her quickly and stood up) Ahem..well I am not quite sure what to say except..this has been an amazing day. I married the woman of my dreams and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her. Candace, I love you. (Sat back down while everyone started clapping)
CD- (Spent a few minutes wiping tears away)
DJ- Now for the bride..(Everyone clapped)
CD- (Stood up nervous as well because she didn't think she had to give a speech either) Well, it's going to be hard trying to top that speech. (Wiped more tears away) But uh, this has been an incredible day for me as well. I got everything I wanted. As you all know, I haven't had much luck with men. But then this man came into The Division and I didn't want you to leave..ever. Now you are in my life and I don't want you to leave..ever..because if you do I will hunt you down and kill you. (Everyone laughed) I love you too Nathan and I want you to be with me forever. (Wiped her last tear away)
DJ- Would anyone else like to say something?
Kate- I would. (Stood up) I just wanted to say that you two make the cutest couple and I hope you have a happy life together. You two have had your shares of fights and your shares of..well you know and I can tell you two will be happy forever. You have my blessing.
CD- Thank you Kate. That means a lot. (Got some more tears coming)
DJ- Ok now let's dance. (The tune to the YMCA came on and everyone got up dancing except one person)

(Before they knew it, Kate was up and dancing with everyone. Magda and Jinny were sitting down with the twins and they were talking.)

Jinny- Have you ever seen her like this?
Magda- Never. (Kate came over to them and sat down)
Kate- Whoa am I tired. (Swallowed some more champaigne)
Magda- Don't you think you have had enough?
Kate- Enough?? NO! (Swallowed some more) WHOA! Come on Jinny dance with me.
Jinny- I dont think so.
Kate- I am still your boss and I am ordering you to come dance with me or you are fired! (Laughs)
Jinny- (Leaned over to Magda) You don't think she would really do that do you?
Magda- I wouldn't take the chance. Just go dance. I will watch these two.
Jinny- (sighs) Ok. Let's go dance.

(They were acting soo funny and Jinny hadn't even had anything to drink. At first it was just simple dancing but then they were doing the Macarana, the the Chicken Dance and then slow dancing together. Everyone was having a ball. It was finally 2AM and it was time to leave.)

CD- Does anyone need a ride home?
Jinny- I will take Kate home. Look at her. (Kate was almost passed out in the chair)
Magda- We will take care of the rides. You two go do your honeymoon. (Winks)
CD- Thank you guys so much for coming.
Magda- Thanks for the party. (Laughs)
Nate- Bye everyone.
Everyone- Bye! Have fun.

(They left on their honeymoon.)

Jinny- How- Me. Why- because you were drunk. When- Around 2:30 AM.

Jinny- Well with the combination of the drinking, dancing, and Veronica and Magda crying most of the night. (Laughs)

Jinny- Oh everyone saw you drunk.

Kate- Ok I am going to go to my house and get a shower and changed before work.
