365 - Are These Kosher?
Diane is stuck in bed sick, and Sam has to go grocery shopping. Sam figures' what the heck, it's not a problem. So, Diane rights him out a list, in the form of a poem, and Sam burns the list, to prove he can shop for his family on his own. But what he doesn't realize, is that everything he bought, was Kosher. Meanwhile, Kelly and Woody decide to remodel their house, and Norm is hired to do the job. But he doesn’t quite have his “touch”, anymore.

366 - Going Once.…
Sam gets his first offer for Cheers, by Mr. Gaines, but for $50,000 under the asking price, and Sam thinks the bar is worth much more than that. Meanwhile, Norm and Cliff try to figure out what will happen to bar tabs once Sam sells the place, and if the same "crew" will be working. And Sam begins the process of clearing out the bar.

367 - Going Twice.…
Sam prepares to sign off Cheers to Mr. Gaines, until Sam makes him sign a contract saying that Carla and Woody may NEVER be fired. Mr. Gaines is a bit unsure about this, especially since Woody cheated on his daughter, but he agrees. The plan is almost complete, until Sam gets a phone call with another, better offer. Meanwhile, Mummy Chambers moves out of Sam and Diane’s home, to move in with her own sister.

368 - Sold!
Immediately after getting the phone call, Sam calls off the deal with Mr. Gaines. He proceeds to tell everybody the news, but no one seems to care, not even Diane, his biggest supporter. When Sam gets the papers ready to sign over the bar, he suddenly realizes he has absolutely no idea who’s buying the bar. When the gang finds out it’s a woman, they all begin to plan their new bars to visit. Until they are introduced to the new owner…. Diane.

Diane's old friend, Rebecca Proud, returns to Cheers, along with her fiance. After purchasing some books and looking into the profession, Norm begins to question the meaning of life. Meanwhile, Sam's scar is really beginning to bother him once again, until he wakes up one morning and it has disappeared.

It gets lost in the mail, and the deal is off.

382 - Super Barfly Bros. 2
When Diane notices that Sam is getting into bed later and later every night, she can’t help but wonder exactly what it is he watches on the TV every night. So, she decides to stay up and watch Sam, watch TV. But when she sees him leave the house, she thinks that he may be cheating on her. Until he comes back with Norm and Cliff to play a little Mario Kart, and catches Diane spying on him.

And Ma Clavin makes her triumphant return.

386 - Nine Two Five (Part 2)
Sam's job at the community college doesn’t last for long, and he finds himself crawling back to his wife for a job at Cheers. Diane teases him by "thinking over" the idea of her husband working for her, but in the end, Sam ends back up at Cheers. Meanwhile, Ma Clavin chooses to be with Hue Grolier over her own son, telling him to get his own life.

387 - Counting Carla‘s Kids
Carla’s age begins to get to her when she can’t seem to remember her children’s ages or even names. Most of her children have gone off to be on their own, some never to return. But eventually, Sam gets weak on the team and practices are cut short, parties after every game. Until Woody comes back to prove Sam wrong, hardheaded and ready to work. He slavedrives the kids until Woody Jr. tells him he hates him.

389 - Mama‘s Boyd
Kelly and Diane finally find something in common, they are both mothers. And they rapidly begin spending more and more time with each other. Until they decide to leave the kids with their fathers and spend the night on the town. But Sam and Woody loose the kids in the grocery store, and search all over Boston for them, only to come back to Cheers and find Norm and Cliff playing with Woody Jr, Rosa Marie, and Mia.

390 - Harley Clavinson
Ma Clavin gets her and Hue their own place, and Cliff moves back into his condo. But she doesnt cooperate with potty-training so easily.

392 - Happy Birthday, Mia Malone
Mia turns 1 years old, and Diane wonders if she'll have a speech-impediment, because she shows no sign of talking. Until the day before her party, when she's left with Norm and Cliff. The next day at the party, Mia can be heard babbling on about nothing, and nobody can help but blame Cliff.

393 - Colcord Express (Part 1)
Robin Colcord returns from England for the first time in years. He has come to sweep Rebecca off her feet and to bring her back to England with him. 394 - Colcord Express (Part 2)
Robin begins his process of sweeping Diane off her feet, but nothing seems to make her budge, until he tells her about the book he has written, and his days in jail. 395 - Didn‘t You Leave??
After years of searching for his son, Phil returns to the bar. With some good news and some bad news. He has found his son, but not in the best condition. 397 - Super Barfly Bros. 3
After weeks of Sam playing the Nintendo non-stop, it breaks, and he finds himself having to come to bed earlier than the normal. But when Sam is in bed, Diane can’t seem to get any reading accomplished, so she goes out and buys Sam a new Nintendo. Before giving it to him, she tries it out for herself, and gets addicted. Night after night she plays more and more, until ultimately, she breaks the new Nintendo.

398 - You Think She Hates You Now (Part 1)
Cliff’s second cousin, Jake Sampsonite (played by the infamous Danny DeVito) arrives from Australia. He comes to spend the week with his cousin Cliff, but the plans get spoiled when he becomes the butt of Carla’s jokes. After nearly an entire week of insults back and forth, Jake prepares to head back to Australia. The episode ends with Cliff changing in the bathroom and Jake in bed talking about how much they hate Carla’s insults and her attitude, all while Jake keeps twitching and aching, until Cliff leaves the room, and Carla pops up from under the covers.
(this is my favorite episode Ive created)

399 - Wait Till You Drive Her (Part 2)
Jake’s last day in Boston seems like any other day he’s been here. Carla making jokes, and Jake snapping back. Carla then proceeds to make Cliff the butt of her jokes once again, and he becomes furious, claiming he’ll kill her. Jake then flies back to Australia, and Cliff returns to the bar, with Carla nowhere in site, and the gang suspects that Cliff has finally killed Carla. Until they get a postcard from Jake saying that he and Carla are happily married, living in Australia.

Teaser - The Bar
(Sam behind the bar, Carla serving drinks, Cliff & Paul fooling around with the TV)

Cliff: This stupid, stupid remote doesn't work. (shoots the remote down on the bar)

Paul: Yeah Sammy, we really need a new one.

Sam: Hey hey, watch that! Its brand new, that cost me 10 bucks.

Paul: $10 for a broken remote?! That's the problem with today's world, everything is so expensive, and so new, but nothing works.

Cliff: Ohh no, not that again. Pauly Pauly Pauly, you gotta keep up with the times.

Carla: You're one to talk Clavin. (whispers "nice pants")

Sam: No, no, Paul's right, for once. I wish things were the way they used to be, with Rebecca around and Woody back here behind the bar.

Carla: Now why in the hell would you want Rebecca here again?

Sam: Hey watch it, she's my friend. She's OUR friend. (points to everyone when he says "our")

Carla: Ohh bull Sammy, all you ever wanted from Rebecca was
(Sam cuts here off, as she bends over the bar)

Sam: Cheap, mindless sex?

Carla: No (stalls, stands up straight again)

Sam: No? (confused)

Scene 1 - The Bar
(Sam behind the bar, Carla taking orders, and Cliff talking to the other barflies)

Cliff: And that is why flying monkeys no longer exist!

Paul: (stares blankly at Cliff) Flying monkeys?

Phil: You psycho. (at the other end of the bar, in Diane's staple seat)

Sam: Like the Wizard of Oz?

Cliff: Quite the contrary Sammy, popular belief has lead many people, like yourself, to think that the “Flying Monkeys of Oz” as they are most often called, to be the only family in the species none as Flyus Monkus in existence. That’s Flying Monkeys to you and me.

Steve: I thought you said they were all killed in a minefield accident.
(Carla buts in)

Carla: No, that would be Clavin’s brain cells.
(Norm walks in, hangs up his coat)

Norm: Mornin’ Everybody!

Everybody: NORM!!

Sam: Hey Normie, how’s working life?

Norm: It’s boring, not as boring as Cliff (stalls & rolls his eyes back “thinking”), but still boring.
(Norm sits down at the bar)

Sam: Hey Normie, we missed you last night. What happened?

Norm: Yeah, Vera wanted to go to some family reunion thingy…. So I dropped her off.

Cliff: Ohh that’s nice, her family get together a lot?

Norm: Not that often. She hasn’t seen some of her cousins in years.

Paul: She must of really loved last night then.

Norm: Why’s that?

Paul: ‘Cause she got to spend some quality time with her relatives.

Norm: Ohh no, you misunderstood…. It was MY family.

Sam: (laughs) Well ya missed a big night.

Cliff: Huge.

Norm: Yeah, what happened?? Comon details Sammy, what’s her name?? (Norm starts smiling and fooling around with the beer nuts)

Sam: Well, Ill narrow it down. You know her. (Cliff motions for him and the other barflies to go into the poolroom)

Norm: That leaves Carla and Vera. And I know its not Vera.
Carla: (from the poolroom) Its not me!

Norm: Then who??

Sam: You could call her a friend.

Norm: Of mine??

Sam: Of course of yours.

Norm: Rebecca??

Sam: Of course not! She’s married now. And I would never do that to her or Don.

Norm: Do what?

Sam: Get caught. (they all laugh) Well, its not Rebecca.

Norm: Then who? Comon Sammy, Im dyin, remember…. You ARE my life.

Sam: HEY! I told you to stop saying that!

Norm: Then spill it. Tell me. Who is it?

Sam: Lilith.

Norm: Lilith?
(Cliff comes back into the bar with the other barflies)

Paul & Cliff: LILITH!

Norm: Lilith? (stalls) As in Frasier?

Sam: As in Frasier. (thinks) No, not as in Frasier. As in Sammy.
(everybody laughs but Norm)

Norm: Lilith?
(Lilith and Frederick walk through the door)

Lilith: (in a high pitch, childlike voice) Oh Uncle Sammy!!

Sam: (whispering to the gang) Speak of the devil.

Carla: I’d say ghost…. But devil works. (nods her head)

(Sam walks around the bar to greet Lilith and Freddy, while the rest of the gang talks in a huddle with Carla)

Sam: Hey Freddy, what’s happenin?!

Freddy: Hi Uncle Sam!!

Lilith: Hi Sam.

Sam: Hi Lilith. Why so early?

Lilith: I though we’d spend the day together.

Sam: Why the kid?

Lilith: That’s who I meant.

Sam: Then what happens to poor old Uncle Sammy?

Lilith: He can represent America, while me and my son go to the park.

Sam: I love the park.

Lilith: Im sure it loves you too.

Sam: How about the movies?

Lilith: Not as much.

Sam: Ohh let me come, it’ll be our first day together.

Lilith: Together? (smiles, and bends over to fix Freddy’s coat)

(Sam “bangs” his head on the door, until he notices Lilith bending over)

Lilith: Sam?

Sam: Huh? Ohh, let’s get going.
(Lilith runs over to grab Freddy, and carries him out of the bar over her shoulder)

Lilith: Come Sam.
(Sam, & Lilith with Freddy over her shoulder, leave the bar)

Carla: Ohh Sammy, Sammy. This is the end.

Norm: She can’t be all that bad. I mean…. look what she did for Frasier.
(they both turn their heads away from each other and towards the front of the bar, looking blankly)

(outside of bar, fade into the scene)

(Carla is behind the bar, with Norm in his seat, and Cliff and Paul at the table)
(Woody and Kelly walk in)

Woody: Sam, round of drinks on me!

Kelly: Wood, Woody, (whispers “he’s not here”)

Woody: Carla, what happened to Sam? He said he’d be here.

Carla: “White Out” came along and they went to the park.

Kelly: White Out??

Woody: (mumbles “Lilith”)
(Kelly mouths “ohh”)
Woody and Kelly: Lilith?!

Norm, Cliff and Paul: (shouting) Lilith!!

Woody: And Sam? When did this happen. I always miss the good stuff.

Kelly: Well, we cant ALWAYS be here, since you started your new job.

Woody: Work stinks.

Carla: Tell me about it.

(Harry The Hat walks in from the pool room)

Harry: Hey guys!

Norm: Harry….

Harry: Cliff, right?

(Cliff stands up from the table)

Cliff: That would be, what’s it to you?

Carla: An insult.
(Norm and Paul laugh, while Woody and Kelly begin walking around to where everyone is talking)

Woody: (while walking) Hey Harry, when’d you get back in town?

Harry: When did I leave?

Woody: Howd you get back into the bar then?

Harry: Most people would use the front door, but I have my own entrance.

Woody: They let you come through Melvilles? I cant even do that, and I used to work here.

Kelly: Pay no attention to him. (talking to Woody about Harry)

Harry: So true, we can all be naïve at times.

Kelly: I was talking about you!

Harry: Now why would a woman as beautiful as yourself want to start so much trouble with poor old me?

Kelly: Its what I do.

(Norm, Cliff and Paul walk into the poolroom)
(the scene cuts to the guys in the poolroom)

Norm: Comon guys, we gotta get Harry out here, before I loose my last 20 bucks.

Cliff: Ehhh, I don’t trust the guy.

Norm: You don’t trust your mother.
Cliff: And you would?!

Norm: I’m for real, Sammy would never let him be here this long. We gotta get him out before the bar burns down.

Paul: Again?

(cuts back to Woody & Kelly watching Harry perform a magic trick)
(while Carla is talking to a man at the opposite end of the bar)

Woody: No, no, do it again. I’ll win this time.

Harry: Ten bucks says you do.

(Woody and Harry shake hands)

Harry: Pick a number, one through ten.

Kelly: (whispering in Woody’s ear “ohh ohh, pick 16, I love 16)

Woody: (from the corner of his mouth, “its only 1 through 10.”)

Woody: 4

Harry: CORRECT!
(Harry holds out his hands, Woody gives him 10 bucks)

(Carla walks over, and smacks Woody across the head)

Woody: Carla!

Carla: You hick!

Woody: What? What?

Carla: Do you realize what you just did?

Woody: What? (stalls) (Carla gives him the “you dumbass” look, and then he realizes) Ohh…. Harry!!

(Harry tips his hat)
Harry: That’ll be all for tonight folks…. Until tomorrow!
(Harry puts his hat back on, and fleas out into the poolroom)
(Carla smacks Woody again)

(outside of bar, fade into the scene)

(Sam is behind the bar, with Norm Cliff and Paul at the bar, while Carla is serving drinks)

Carla: Sam, forgot to tell ya, farmboy stopped by yesterday.

Sam: Really? When?

Carla: Around 4.

Sam: PM?

Carla: Yeah PM you numskull

Cliff: Harry The Hat stopped by too.

Sam: Harry? Is he here? Now?

Carla: Nah, he tricked Woody outa 10 bucks and left the bar.

Sam: Ohh thank God, I thought he got ahold of the book again.

Paul: Speaking of that.... (he hands Sam "the book")

Sam: Where did you get this from?

Paul: (starts looking back and forth) I found it.

Sam: Paul, this is serious, where did you get this?

Paul: Its mine, ok. Its my own edition. Not as big as yours, but its growing.

Norm: You never really seemed like the ladies man type to me.

Carla: Seemed more like a lady.

Cliff: Its true, none of you men have met the babe magnet status held by me and my pal Sammy.

Sam: I told you to stop calling me that.

Cliff: Sorry.... Sam.

Carla: I think he meant "pal".

Norm: Back to women Sammy, how did the date with Lilith go?
(Sam bangs his head on the bar)

Norm: That bad?

Sam: Worse. All she did was go on and on about Frasier.

Cliff: That’s so pitiful.

Sam: But then she started to slow it down, but we didn’t.

(Norm and Cliff start laughing, punching Sam)

Sam: There we were, getting hot and everything, and she calls me Frasier!

Norm, Cliff and Paul: Uh-oh.

Sam: I know, can you believe that?!

(the door opens and Lilith walks in, with makeup on, in a tight black dress)

Norm, Cliff and Paul: Uh-oh.

(Cliff laughs)

Norm: What?

Cliff: Ohh nothing.

Norm; No, what?

Cliff: Nothing.

Norm: Ok, never mind then.

Cliff: If you MUST ask, I was just thinking.

Carla: There’s a first.

Norm: Thinking what?

Cliff: About the ancient theory, originating in ancient Mesopotamia.

Norm: I knew I should have stopped when I had the chance.

Paul: What theory?

Carla: don’t ASK him.

Cliff: The theory that all men are attracting to games of chance, and in turn, all females were made to protect the men from loosing everything they’ve ever owned and dreamed of….
(gets cut off by Carla)

Carla: And end up like you?

(scene cuts back to Woody Kelly and Harry)

Harry: Im sorry Woods, its how the hands go. Four thousands dollars, or the bar.

Carla: The bar? You cant do that.

Harry: I can if the police find out about your little gambling corner going on over here.

Kelly: I told you we should have left.

Harry: I’ll tell you what, you give me a night with blondie over here, and I’ll call it a deal.

Woody: Nobody talks about my wife that way.

Kelly: I thinks its sweet, it’s a deal.

Woody: Kelly, I demand you not go out with him.

Kelly: You cant tell me what to do.

Woody: Ohh yes I can, and yes I will.

Kelly: Ohh no you won’t.

Woody: Ohh yes I will.

Kelly: No you wont.

Woody: Yes I will.

Kelly: No you’re not.

Woody: Yes I am.
Kelly: Ohh yeah, kinda forgot.

Sam: No…. hey!

Harry: Ohh Sam, you always got a kick out of me.
(Harry walks over to Lilith, and points to her)

Harry: New lady friend??

Lilith: Maybe. What would you say Sam?
(Sam “bangs” his head on the wall where his picture hangs)

(Lilith tilts her motioning for them to go upstairs)

Sam: (gives off a big breath) I love you.

Lilith: Love?? (Lilith begins to act very unlike herself) Do you really LOVE me?

(Sam closes squints his eyes and "bangs" his head in the middle of air)
Sam: (rubbing his forhead, slowly opening his eyes) Yeah, I think I do.

Lilith: Love, as in marriage?

Sam: (steps back away from couch) Maybe, someday.

Lilith: Love, as in a child? Love as in forever?? (begins to tilt her head back and forth) Love as you, and me?? (her eyes get wider and wider)

Sam: Maybe (slowly begins to back away)

Lilith: Love? You? And me? In love?

Sam: Maybe (gulps)

Lilith: Do you mean it?

Sam: I think.

Lilith: Damnit Frasier, tell me! (breaks down in tears) Come back!

(Sam walks back in through the door and hugs Lilith tightly)

Sam: Im so sorry.

Lilith: (wipes her tears) Its not your fault. Its me.

Sam: Im usually the one to use that line.

Lilith: Im so sorry Sam, its wasn’t supposed to happen this way.

(then begin to kiss)
(Freddy comes running down the stairs)

Freddy: Mom, read me a bedtime story!

(he sees Lilith kissing a man, thinking its Frasier)

(Lilith and Sam break apart, and Freddy goes running into the kitchen when he sees Sam)

Sam: I better get going.

Lilith: No stay.

Sam: You need to be with him. And you need to spend some time alone. Call me in a few months.

(they kiss, and Sam leaves, as Lilith runs into the kitchen)

(outside of bar, fade into scene)

(Carla is behind the bar, talking to Woody waiting at the door, while the other barflies are in their normal seats)

Carla: Calm down buddy, you know she’d never do anything wrong. Now if it were me out there....

Woody: With Harry The Hat??

Carla: Ewwhh (shakes like she's disgusted)

(Sam walks in through the door)

Woody: Ohh, its only Sam.

Sam: Nice to see you too. What are you doing here?

Woody: Waiting for Kelly.

Sam: She’s not back yet?

Woody: She should be! I told her not to go.

Sam: Trust me, never tell a woman what to do.

Woody: Cause they’ll always do the opposite?

Sam: No, cause they might listen.

(Sam walks over behind the bar)

Norm: How’d things with Lilith go?

Sam: Not good. Its over.

Carla: (sarcastically) So soon? (motions yes, and points to heaven)

Norm: What happened?

Cliff: Called you Frasier again?

Sam: Its not me, its her, at least that’s what she said.

Carla: Woah woah, Sammy, the babe magnet, got dumped by Lilith?? (starts her “evil” cackle)

Sam: She needed some time alone.

Carla: That’s what they all say.

(Kelly walks in through the door)
(Woody, half asleep jumps up)

Woody: Where have you been?

Kelly: In misery.

Woody: Is that the new place on Thompson??

Kelly: It was terrible.

(Woody and Kelly walk over and sit at the table)
Kelly: He took 40 minutes to park the car, and made ME pay for the shoes I got.

Woody: You got shoes?
(She shoes him the shoes, on her feet)

Woody: They’re nice.

Kelly: Thanks. I thought so.

Woody: But that’s not the point. You’re my wife, and you disobeyed me.

Kelly: I did NOT disobey you, I stood up for myself.

Woody: And went out with Harry The Hat?

Kelly: Under it all he’s a kind, gentle man.

Woody: Under it all, Hitler was a kind, gentle man too.

Kelly: We’ll he didn’t ask me out, now did he??

Woody: that’s your 23rd beer today.

Sam: (looks at Norm suspiciously) Norm, that can’t be your 23rd beer, I’ve only given you 5.

Norm: see? (laughs nervously pointing at Woody) I don’t know what he’s talking about! (smiles)

(Sam is still looking at him with a look of suspicion)

Carla: Yo Sammy! You working? Get me a gin and tonic.

Sam: Sure thing Carla. (turns his back to Norm)

Sam: Aww man it’s ok it’s (Woody grabs him and starts crying on his shirt, and rubs his wet face all over it, Sam makes a face, but continues to pat him on the back) it’s ok..

Sam: Carla!

(starts crying harder)

Carla: What Sammy? He is! He cheated on his wife! Broke a commandment!

Sam: We know that Carla but this isn’t exactly the best moment to remind him of it.

Carla: You’re right, Woody if it makes you feel any better, I never really liked Kelly anyways.

Woody: (continuing to sob) thank you Carla.

Carla: Geezus! You just can’t help some people (walks away)

(Cliff and Paul come in from the backroom)

Cliff: He er what’s wrong with Woody?

Norm: (still drinking is beer) he’s upset over Kelly.

Paul: Why? What happened?

Cliff: Woody what you need is-

Paul: What happened?

Cliff: Later Paul. (Paul puts on his “nobody ever tells me anything face” and sits down in Diane’s seat) Woody what you need is a night out on the town with a certifiable (does the “yes” motion with his hands which is extending his arm in a fist, and then quickly bringing it in…sort of a backwards punch) with a babe magnet.

Sam: Well Cliff I would love to take Woody, but I’m with Diane now.

Cliff: Sammy, Sammy, Sammy you are royalty in the babe magnet department, but let’s face it, you’ve kind of lost your touch over the years.

Norm: So you’re suggesting you go in his place?

Cliff: (shrugs) yea.

Sam: What do you mean I’ve lost it?

Norm: Oh no Sam you’ve still got it.

Sam: hmm (looks down and starts cleaning a glass)

Norm: (lips to Cliff) He’s lost it.

(cliff nods)

Cliff: So what do you say Woodman?

Woody: I guess.

Cliff: all right!! Me and you out on the town. Two guys painting the town that there red!

(Diane comes walking down the steps of Cheers. Opens the door, and hangs her coat.)

Diane: Hello everyone (gives them her classic smile)

Sam: (from behind the bar) Hey there sweetheart.

Diane: (her eyes twinkle when she sees Sam, and walks all around and into the bar) Hello Sam.

(He pulls her closer and gives her a hug and a tender kiss. They let go and she reaches for her apron and he continues to clean glasses.)

Sam: (squinting his eyes and putting his hand on his forehead, then dropping it as if remembering something) Oh Diane, I wanted to ask you (Diane who is about to grab her tray turns and looks at him attentively), my apartment (smiling) is being renovated, something about the plumbing falling apart and water leaking from my floor to the apartment under me, anyways the place is going to be out for a couple of weeks, and normally I would stay here or maybe in a hotel or something, but you know since (reaches for her hand and Diane gives it to him)we are together I was wondering if I could maybe stay in your place?

Diane: (pulling him closer) Of course you may, Sam. (looking up at him) In fact I think it’s a romantic idea. (they kiss)

Sam: Well great! Thank you Diane, and I promise you, you won’t even feel I’m there.

Diane: Well hopefully I do feel you there. (They kiss again)

Carla: (clapping her hands angrily and coming towards the bar) ok, ok! Break it up, you’ve got drinks to make (pointing at Sam), and you have people to bore and serve badly (pointing to Diane)! Enough already! Let’s go!

Diane: (Diane gets her tray) Well, I’ll see you tonight (winks, and gives him a little nudge) roomy. (Sam smiles and is about to reach for her again when Carla separates them and pushes Diane out of the bar)

Carla: I said lets go! You two can play house on your own time! I’m by myself out there schlepping drinks!

Diane: Ok, ok you don’t have to push Carla. (goes to a table to take their order).

Carla: Finally (turns to Sam) Ok, I need a very dry martini, two drafts, and an Irish cream coffee.

Sam: Got it. (starts making the drink)
Norm: So Sam, going to move in with Diane?

Sam: Temporarily, yea.

Norm: I remember the first time me and Vera moved in together, you see we got our apartment a month before the wedding, and we thought “let’s try it out” you know just to get the feel. Vera was so cute back then, she’d do all the little tasks around the house, and leave me little notes saying “I love you and stuff” …then as the years went by the notes stopped, well some of them became reminder notes that she would put in my pocket (reaches into his pocket and pulls out 50 small folded pieces of paper) hmm…I guess I should probably read them. There might be something important in one of them.

(opens one up and begins to read)

(Sam shakes his head, and gives Carla the drinks)

Scene 1 - The Bar

(Sam is behind the bar, Carla is serving drinks, while Norm and Cliff are talking in their normal seats, as Woody and Kelly sit at the Frith table)

Norm - So what you're trying to say is that everyone in the world is somehow related?? Thats the stupidest thing Ive ever heard.

Cliff - More stupid then the time I decided to have a severed head when I depart from this lonely planet you people like to call Earth.

Norm - Whatya mean "you people?"

Cliff - Im just sayin that you incompitent minds of the world have no way of beholding the powers that be.

Carla - Powers that be, huh? So Cliffy, you've finally learned the powers of the almight God.

Cliff - No.... Im talking about the ancient vodoo spirits that reside in this bar.

Sam - Vodoo spirits?? I dont recall any vodoo spirits?? Cliffie, maybe you've been drinkin a little to much.

Carla - Listen to the man for once, maybe he's right. There have been some very weird spirits in this bar.

Sam - Like what?

(Norm, Cliff, and Carla turn over to Sammy slowing saying "Di-ane")

Woody - I think you're all crazy. There's no such thing as vodoo and spirits. We're just normal people living in a normal world. Nothing can force us to say or do anything.

Kelly - WOODY!! (shouting) Get over here!!

Woody - (sulks his head) Coming dearest.

Kelly - Thats mommy dearest to you! You bastard, you did this to me.... now get it out!!

(Norm and Cliff shy away, "gagging", and walk to the other side of the bar)

Woody - Here.... (Woody gives her a shot) drink up.

Sam - Woah woah.... arent you afraid that might hurt the child.

Kelly - Why would it hurt the child.... my mother drank while she was pregnant with me.

Carla - (buts into the conversation) That explains a lot.

(Kelly shakes her head and smiles blankly)

Kelly - Comon sweetheart, lets head home.

Woody - But Im not done talking to the guys.

Kelly - MOVE IT FARMBOY!!

Woody - (sulks his head) Coming dearest.

(Woody and Kelly start walking out of the bar) (Woody runs up the stairs, and Kelly runs down to the bar to pay Sam) (Norm waves for Kelly to come towards him)

Norm - Me and Cliff 've got a bet going to see if evil spirits really do reside in this bar.

Cliff - Here's how it works....

Norm - If you have twins.... there are evil spirits.

Cliff - And if not.... Normie wins the bet and the curse is dispelled.

Kelly - So.... Im having twins?? (looks at them curiously)

Norm - Ok, lets go through this again....

(end of scene.... cut to outside of bar [NOT commercial])

Its been over 11 years since we last saw the gang at Cheers. Not much has changed -- Frasier moved to Seattle, Cliff has retired, and Norm is Norm. Along with the ever present fact that Carla is once again pregnant. This time with John Allen Hill's baby, but sadly, when he heard the news that he was going to be the father, he dropped dead in Carla's arms. Rebecca is nowhere to be seen, and for the first episode -- her whereabouts are never mentioned. Diane however has been very busy, after writing a successful TV film, Diane finally went for her dream of writing a book -- but this time it was for children. Not much has changed with Sam, he's still a lady's man, but he's slowed down quite a bit. Woody, after leaving office after a shameful three day run, has become quite the family man with a son and daughter with his beautiful wife Kelly. Lilith, as "Frasier" fans may know, has gotten re-married, but her husband left her for a man. Paul and Phil are the same as ever. But there's a new barfly in town, Carla's son Ludlow, not quite the brainiac he used to be, he lacks people skills and spends most of his time down at Cheers with the gang. Now.... onto the episode.

So, he tries to butter up to the gang and offers to pay off their bar tabs, until he discovers exactly how much Norm owes.
Meanwhile.... John Allen Hill's will becomes finalized and Carla is stunned to discover that he has left everything to his daughter. Cheers: Season -5

Starring:
Sam Malone/Debra Malone (same title screen)
Ernie "Coach" Pantuso
Kathy Doyle
Carla Tortelli LeBec
and Norm Peterson

5 Years before anybody ever knew about the little bar in Boston where everybody knows your name.... there was a bar in Boston where everybody knows your name. It was owned by a man named Gus, but was sold to an Ex-Red Sox Pitcher Sam Malone. For 2 years Sam scraped his way through an alchohol problem, but ultimately his wife left him. Along for the first 2 years is the familiar faces (Coach, Carla, Norm, and a little dose of Cliff every once in a while), in addition to Kathy Doyle, a barfly like no other. A perfect counterpart to Norm, although she's no replacement.

At the end of Season -4, Debra leaves Sam and the cast.... but that'll all be explained throughout....

Cheers, 1977-1982
Or as I like to call it -- Cheers, BC. Before Chambers.

-110. A Gentleman and a Barfly
The "backstory" begins with Debra buying the bar from a man named Gus for Sam's birthday as a surprise (the sentimental reason as to why he keeps that bar after sobering up). In the premiere episode Sam has to hire a waitress while Debra works in the office and Sam's friend the Coach, Ernie Pantuso, helps bartend. Barflies include the ever present Norm Peterson and Kathy Doyle, with frequent appearances from a clean-shaven Cliff Clavin and a younger Al. Throughout this episode Sam takes in many applicants for waitresses, but hires one out of spite, by the name of Carla Tortelli an huge Red Sox fan who's been following Sam since his first pitch in the minors, whom Debra despised. The bar is already well established, but Sam's drinking problem is wearing it down. All of the barflies take a liking to him, with the exception of Kathy Doyle, an intellect in disguise, who just wants to hang out with some friends. Ultimately she comes around, but not until Debra is clearly out of the picture. For the next 5 seasons Sam will go through the biggest lows of his life, until the ultimate arrival of Diane Chambers.

Yes he will.
But I have to check up on my "Cheers History" before doing any more.

Like.... how old were Carla's kids in Season 1.... and when did she and Nick get a divorce??

Sam and Debra got a divorce before he quit drinking, right??

I know Sam quit drinking 3 years before the REAL Cheers started, and that he bought the bar 2 years before that.
I just went with the assumption he met Carla while interviewing for a waitress. And I would REALLY like Cliff to be a regular, but since he wasn't in Season 1 -- it wouldnt make any sense.

-109. Debra's Dismay

-108. 12 Angry Barflies
Carla is accused of taking Sam and Coach's tips and the whole bar wants her out, but Kathy sticks up for her. Kathy believes she's innocent, but nobody else will listen. Kathy proves to the other barflies and to Sam that Carla can be trusted.... and that Sam and Coach weren't getting any tips anyways.

This is the story of the bar in Boston where everybody knows your name -- but you know none of them.

The time -- 1982.
The place -- an alternate reality, an alternate Cheers.

In place of Sam is a man named Frank Packard, a former Patriot's quaterback and owner of Cheers. With him comes a whole new crowd and a whole new vibe.

The gang we knew -- is gone.
In their place is Chenise Border, the sexy barmaid who's too dumb for her own good.
The assitant bartender -- a black man by the name of Carl Johnson, the coolest guy in town.

Barflys include the sportsnut Tony Finn and Colleen Norton, a genius who doesn't like to show it. She hides her knowledge in order to be one of the guys.

Also featured (but not shown) is Sumner Sloane, a college professor trying to take a break from the strains of his students by hanging out a bar where nobody wants to know his name.

I saw this pic online and it made me think of it....

Can't wait for more!
I do have a question, though. Who is the smart or normal one in the show to play off Woody? Would that be Drucker?

I got rid of Drucker.... Im thinking of bringing in the 2 characters from the Cheers episode where Woody stays with a girl, and Woody knows her fiance.
I have to find what episode that is though, to get names....
and by any chance, do you know how many kids Woody has (on the Frasier episode), and what their names are??

001 - Give Me A Farm Sometime
When Woody's parents die in a house fire, Woody decides that its time he leaves Boston and heads back to Hanover to continue raising his family. There he reunites with an eclectic mix of friends and foes in his hometown. But what Woody doesn't know is that he has to take over the family farm, even though his no good smooth-talking-college-boy-brother Harold is perfectly capable.

I think he said he had two kids in that episode...but don't remember any names. You may want to check that transcript site called "Frasier Files." Hope that helps.

Oh, and I love the title of the pilot!

001 - My Workplace (Special Guest Star Richard Poe as Chopper Dave)
Three months into her new job as station manager, Roz still has trouble running the place. But with Bulldog back doing sports and Kenny hosting his new advice show, filling the timeslots isn't too hard. Father Mike is back with religious talk, and Chopper Dave continues his work with traffic. The timeslots may be getting filled -- but their checks aren't. Both Gil and Noel try to negotiate for a promotion, and Roz is going insane. Noel's infatuation with Roz runs on. To top the day off the station owner calls in and orders Roz to make some cuts. The first to go -- Chopper Dave.

002 - Parent Owner Conference
KACL seems to be running a bit smoother, and much quieter without Chopper Dave around, but Roz's apartment is more hectic than ever. Alice comes home from with a note from her teacher. Roz is too busy to meet at the school, so the teacher invites her over for dinner. When she asks if Roz would like to bring a guest, she's too embarassed to say she isn't seeing anyone. So she scurries to find a date, but can only settle for Noel. It seems that Alice has been teasing the other children at school, but that's not even half of Roz's worries -- Alice's teacher is married to her boss!

Roz tries to take the dog away, but Alice won't have it. She doesn't end up letting go of the dog until Noel comes back and literally fights her for it.

004 - Calling All Call Letters
Trying to bring the station up to new standards, Roz attends a radio convention in Vancouver. While off on her "trip", Kenny takes back charge of the station. The radio booth practically goes up in flames -- literally, and Bulldog nearly runs out on his job. Meanwhile, Alice is left with Gil for the weekend, which nearly starts a fire as well.

Part 2 of the twelfth season premiere finds Frasier scrapping to get his old job back. With Roz in her new position, Frasier thinks its the easiest decision in the world. The problem? Dr. Emord (Louis) is good, really good.... in bed that is, according to Roz, his new found lover. Roz is forced to decide between her best friend, or new love. Frasier does get the job, but not without difficulty. If not for the fact that Louis was the man that slept with Ronee, Frasier may have never been heard on the radio again. The tipoff that Louis slept with Ronee is the key in reuniting Martin with his new bride, which they do manage by the end of the episode.

Haha very good.

But why are you getting rid of Ronee? I personally didn't love her, but I don't know if undoing the storylines that were established in season 11 is the way to go - although having Frasier return to Seattle and do his radio show again is necessary for a season 12.

Frasier adjusts to his new life as Martin and Ronee move in with him, yet again. At work, both Frasier and Roz try to adjust to their new positions, Roz as manager, and Frasier struggling to manage his own show. Meanwhile, Niles and Daphne are getting tired of being tired. While out shopping for even more baby supplies, hoping to get the baby to quiet down once in a while, Niles comes upon a jump suit which allows the baby to be connected at all times, like a kangaroo. Daphne forbids him to buy it, but when Niles tries it on at the store, and the baby falls asleep instantly in it, they buy it immediately. The following day, Ronee holds a dinner party, where Niles shows up wearing the baby suit, which Martin mistakens it to have a built in purse, not a baby carrier.

273 - Divorce Me Once, Shame On You, Divorce Me Twice, Shame On Me, Divorce Me Three Times.... Special Guest Star Dr. Lilith Sternin
The twelfth season of Cheers begins with Carla, Cliff, Paul, and Norm sitting around the empty bar, only to be shocked by both Woody and Frasier. Woody comes with news that he has resigned from office, only three days after joining and makes the gang swear to never bring the subject up again. Frasier then comes with the news that Lilith has filed for divorce.... all before the themesong begins. The episode returns from the themesong with "Four Months Later" across the screen, now we see Sam, Rebecca, Carla, Cliff, Paul, Phil, Woody, Kelly and Norm, all waiting for Frasier to return from his last day with Frederick, as Lilith is moving to Philladelphia. With a baby on the way, and Woody with only a bartending job, Kelly is busy looking for work. For the time being, Sam hires her as an assistant waitress. As the night goes on, the gang realizes Frasier isn't showing up, but Lilith does, for one final drink at the bar where everybody knows her name.

274 - Movin' On Up
Frasier adjusts to living alone, and moves into a spacious high rise apartment in downtown Boston. (much smaller than the one seen on Frasier). Meanwhile, when they aren't helping Frasier move, the gang is helping Kelly ease into her new waitress job.

275 - Mourning Sickness
Just as Kelly begins to suffer morning sickness, her grandmother passes away. When the gang figures somebody else will go to the wake, nobody ends up going. The gang convinces Kelly and Woody they were the there, but got lost in the crowd, but Mr. Gaines blows up their spot.

276 - Dun, Dun, Don
Rebecca can't seem to handle the pressure Don has been giving her to get married. She loves him, but feels she may still have feelings for Robin. Don gives her the ultimatum: marriage or breakup. Rebecca caves under the pressure and lets Don go. Meanwhile, Kelly is rapidly improving her skills as a waitress, causing Carla to feel threatened.

277 - Are You There God? It's Me, Clifford
Cliff experiences a religious "call" when his mail truck breaks down in front of the Old North Church. Too lazy to walk to somewhere else to use a phone, Cliff goes into the church interrupting a wedding service. As he searches for a telephone, he annoys half of the congregation out of their minds until he trips and finds himself kneeling before the altar. He takes this as sign and decides to give up life as a mailman and become a minister. Although none of this is seen, Cliff explains it to the gang at the bar trying to convince them that he will be leaving in the morning to "return to the Lord." With the exception of Carla, they all try to convince him to stay, but he won't have it. That night Cliff experiences another "call", from his mother, to get her out of the home. Cliff realizes he has to choose between leaving to become a minister or saving his mother from the torture of her nursing home. Ultimately, Ma Clavin ends up moving back in with Cliff, who is for now, still a mailman.

278 - Lions, Tigers, and Beer, Oh My!
Frasier finds three tickets to the circus which he had boughten for Lilith, Frederick and himself to attend, 6 months in advance. With no desire whatsoever to go, he offers them up to Carla, but she already has tickets for herself and John Allen Hill. Woody anxiously wants to go, but has to attend lamaz class with Kelly. Woody asks Paul to fill in for him so he can go, but he doesn't tell Paul where he's going. Infuriating both Kelly and Paul; Woody, Cliff and Norm go off to the circus, where Norm gets caught with a six pack and gets kicked out.

279 - Motherload Special Guest Star Mama Lozupone
Carla's family seems to be too busy for the day and Carla is forced to spend the day with her mother. After a couple of hours at the grocery store and even longer the hospital, Carla decides to bring her mother to her workplace of 17 years, for the first time. Meanwhile, the gang remarks that watching Carla with her mother reminds them one of two things; how much they miss their parents or how miserable they feel when they are around.

280 - A Play On Words
Trying to liveup his last few days before fatherhood, Woody lands a minor role in a local stage production. What Woody doesn't realize however is that the play is over three hours long with 461 lines of dialouge, for his role alone. Returning from his big debut, the gang brings news that Woody passed out on stage and was rushed to the hospital, only to bump into his wife, attending a lamaz class with Paul, again. This time all goes well, a little too well, prompting Kelly to ask Paul to be in the delivery room.

281 - How Cliffy Got His Groove Back
After months of admiration, Cliff finally gets the nerve to ask his new neighbor to dinner. Suprisingly, she accepts. But even more suprisingly, Cliff is "the perfect date", and an excellent dancer. After several nights of dating, they both begin to think they may be in love, until she meets the gang at Cheers and discovers a whole new side of Cliff. Then and there she ends the relationship.

282 - Pregnancy and/or Birth (Part 1) (Originally aired as an hour long episode)
With only a month until her due date, Rebecca holds a baby shower for a very pregnant Kelly. Kelly's party however is overshadowed when Carla announces she is pregnant, again.... this time with John Allen Hill. With Carla dreading the fact that she's pregnant again, Kelly fears that her life will be ruined as well when the baby is born. But that fear is all put on hold when Kelly goes into labor.

283 - Pregnancy and/or Birth (Part 2) (Originally aired as an hour long episode)
As Kelly is rushed to the hospital, Carla rushes back to the bar to share the news, not even considering the fact that she could just use a phone. When she returns, she bumps into John Allen Hill who has apparently heard the "good news" before Carla got around to it. She tries to explain, but when confronted, John suffers a mild heart attack, yet again. Carla and John are rushed to the hospital, where John recovers almost immediately only to find Woody in the bed next to him, who has suffered a concussion. Not your typical father-to-be concussion, but this time Woody has slipped onto a hospital bed and has been rammed into a wall. Much like John, Woody recovers relatively quickly -- as does Kelly and their newborn baby, Woodrow "Woody" Tiberius Boyd Jr.

284 - Bar Wars VIII: Another Bar Bites The Dust
Since Gary's Old Towne Tavern was demolished, the team spirit (or lack thereof) of Cheers has been considerably lower. While looking for a new bar to compete with, the Cheers gang finds a place by the name of "The Bull & Finch" a few blocks down the street, which has now become the home to former Gary regulars. The gang challenges them to a darts tournament, but from the get-go its obvious this will be a war of pranks. Yet again, Cheers finds itself as the but of the joke when they come to attend the darts tournament only to discover it's an AA meeting.

285 - Smith, Smith, Krapence & Smith
Out of a job for months, Paul seems to be at the bar more than ever, even threatening Norm for his title. When the gang tries to help Paul find a new career, he tells them of wanting to be a lawyer when he was younger. He claims to have gone to law school for a number years, but met his supermodel wife-to-be the night before his bar exam, when the two eloped that night and Paul never looked back, until now that is. Paul decides to head back to law school to freshen up, and retake his bar exam. The law firm at which he looks into however, treats him like sh*t, once again shattering one of his lifelong dreams.

286 - Rubix Dude
Suffering from the first few weeks of fatherhood, Woody finds something in the closet of the bar that will occupy his time even more; a rubix cube. Addicted to solving it, Woody takes an intense obsession with his favorite puzzle. Anxious to see him solve it, the gang tries to take a stab at it which he responds to ferociously. Eventually Woody outsmarts the gang for once when he does actually solve the puzzle. Eager to solve it, Frasier borrows the cube from Woody and gives it a go only to fail miserably.

287 - The Dawn of Don
Rebecca's former fiance Don returns to win her over. A lonely Rebecca embrasses Don's return, but quickly turns away when he tells her why he has returned; his plumming company has folded and he wants to move in with Rebecca. Desperate, Rebecca agrees to go to dinner with Don, where he explains it all. She decides to forgive him and have him move in, until their meal is interrupted by Don's new younger girlfriend, who can't have Don move in for she is living at home.

288 - Over The Hill
John Allen Hill is trying to adjust to the fact that he will soon be a father to a new baby, while his 70th birthday is approaching. For this landmark anniversary, Hill's daughter Valerie appears sending Carla in a whirlwind. Carla tries to hide Valerie from her father, in addition to hiding the fact that she is the mother of her soon-to-be half sibling. Meanwhile, the gang helps set up for Hill's birthday, but the surprise is ruined when Woody stupidly asks John what year he was born in, even though he knew it was his 70th birthday party.

289 - A Reunion of Sorts
Kelly's highschool friends all come to visit to see the new baby. As usual, Kelly is delighted to show off little Woody Jr, but Woody Sr is getting sick of it. Woody claims their apartment is just getting too crowded, and when one of Kelly's girlfriends gets a little close with Woody, Kelly is the one that draws the line. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang is shocked when one of Kelly's highschool friends turns out to be the granddaughter of Al, the now departed barfly.

290 - Yes or Norm?
Searching for a new career, Rebecca gets a temporary job as a surveyor at Faneuil Hall. Unable to fill her quota of questionnaires, Rebecca harasses the gang at the bar to help her out. She convinces Sam and Woody to do it with no problem, but when it comes to the third and final survey, Norm gets the short end of the stick, taking nearly three hours to fill it all out, only to recieve a pen in return. Meanwhile, a local radio station holds a contest, and Paul and Cliff compete desperately to win the chance to meet Miss Massachusetts.

291 - Cheers and Crackers
Celebrating Mr. Gaines' birthday, Woody and Kelly hold a dinner party. Paul expects the party is for family only when he doesn't recieve an invitation, but all the other bar patrons have. The party is interrupted while the gang sings Mr. Gaines "Happy Birthday", when Paul bombards the apartment. Woody wonders why he has arrived so late, while Paul demands an explanation as to why he isn't worthy an invitation, until Cliff tells him it got lost in the mail, to which Paul responds to even worse.

292 - Widescreen
Sam finally gets around to buying the big screen TV for the bar that he's been saving for since getting the bar back. Once Sam finds out how to install it, the whole Cheers gang heads to the local video store to rent some movies, but no one can decide on anything. And once again, it's "The Magnificent Seven."

293 - Crime of the Century Special Guest Star Esther "Ma" Clavin
After a couple of neighbors experience burglaries, Woody and Kelly just shrug it off. But when the elderly woman down the hall is robbed, and beatened, Woody decides to install a deluxe security system. A few nights later, Woody accidentally locks himself out of his apartment, and a burglar strikes. Woody catches the burglar, and is startled to discover that its a woman. Meanwhile, Cliff sends his mother to a new nursing home, one which appears to be a hellhole but is perfect for Ma Clavin.

294 - Who, What, Where, When, Why, and Howe
Rebecca witnesses a hit and run outside the entrance of the bar, and has to attend court to testify. Anxious about what will happen, when she finds out the driver of the car was a mob boss, she decides not to attend the hearing, which lands her in trouble herself. In an attempt to disguise herself from the police, she dies her hair blonde, and much to her dismay, it's permanent. Meanwhile, Sam hires a nobody to paint his office, leaving Norm out in the cold, although he has a job, which he rarely attends to.

295 - Strike
Sam's new decision to not arrive at work until late in the afternoon has upset all four of his employees. Unable to run the bar with such a small staff, Sam is forced to come to work early. Sam's new morning attitude has been anything but pleasant, causing Carla, Woody, Kelly and Rebecca (who has returned to being a brunette) to go on strike until he treats them better. An agreement is made.... Sam is not to arrive to work until late in the afternoon, bringing them back where they started. None of them seem to realize this, but the rest of the gang looks on in confusion.

296 - Picture This
After a string of unlucky dates, Frasier begins to loose all hope. To make matters worse, his most recent date tells him he is too overbearing and lets his intelligence get to his head. Trying to appear cool, Frasier goes for a new attitude towards life. Cynical and dumbfounded, not even Kelly believes the "new Frasier." Meanwhile, a game of Pictionary between Woody, Paul, Cliff and Norm gets ugly when their pictures start to mock eachother.

297 - Maloneliness
Celebrating his one year anniversary at his sexaholic club, Sam spends the night alone for a change. The gang all try in their own way to cheer him up, but he just won't budge from his office. Norm, Cliff and Paul invite him to watch "The Magnificent Seven", Rebecca invites him to dinner, while Woody and Kelly try to bag him with babysitting the kid. Carla decides "what better way to celebrate being a sexaholic than to have the best night of sex ever?", and lets Sam "have his way with her." He declines to all of these offers, as tempting as some may seem. Frasier thinks he may win him over with two tickets to a Red Sox game, but the only rule is Frasier must not be the guest. Once again, Sam declines, and drinks the night away all alone in his cold, dark office.

298 - Ch-Ch-Changes (Part 1)
Unknown to the gang, Sam has returned to the bottle. Once again making his employees and patrons feel terrible, they all try to focus on life outside of the bar. Almost everyone has a new oppurtunity in life, but only a few go through with them. Woody is offered the chance to be the lead in an off Broadway production of "Chicago." Rebecca contemplates the idea of leaving Boston and moving back to San Fransisco to care for her elderly parents. Cliff becomes unhappy with his new district manager, Walt Twitchell, and considers leaving the postal service. Frasier snags the opportunity to host a radio call-in show, although only temporarily. Carla, Kelly, Paul and Norm however seem to be leading the life they have already chosen. The episode ends when Sam curses out the gang and their new life decisions, and they all realize that Sammy has been drinking, as he pours himself shot after shot while giving an unneccessary long-winded speech.

299 - Ch-Ch-Changes (Part 2)
The gang tries to concentrate on both Sam's problem, and their life-changing decisions. Rebecca decides to remain in Boston, while Woody declines the acting offer thinking he would have to move to Chicago to do so. Frasier's temporary job as a radio call-in host goes so well he is offered a fulltime oppurtunity, but asks for time to decide whether or not to go through with it. Cliff's upset with Walt leaves him either looking for a new job, or moving to a different district. Throughout their many decisions, Sammy continues to harass the gang, and even with the help of Frasier (even if it was over the radio), Sam isn't quitting so easily this time.
(Although not "to be continued", the episode does end with Frasier contemplating over his new career offer, Cliff deciding what to do with his life, and Sam drinking his life away.)

Cheers - Season 13
1994-1995

Starring:
Sam Malone
Rebecca Howe
Carla Tortelli LeBec
Clifford Clavin
Woody Boyd/Kelly Gaines Boyd
Dr. Frasier Crane
Paul Krapence
and Norm Peterson

300 - Cheers 300th Episode Celebration and 301 - Cheers 300th Episode Celebration
The entire cast, including Shelley Long and Bebe Neuwirth, reunite to talk about the previous 299 episodes, and what can be expected over the next season. Rather than clips of the characters, the gang reminisces about times off camera, with plenty of bloopers and behind the scenes footage. This would originally air as an hour-long celebration.

302 - Drinking to Decisions
With Sam back on the bottle, and Cliff possibly leaving Boston forever, the gang has feelings of mixed emotions. Nobody came seem to confront eachother about anything, and Frasier's radio call-in show seems to be their only answer. Discovering that his call-in show can benefit both his friends, himself, and the general public, Frasier takes up the job offer at WACL Boston 780AM Talk Radio. Cliff and Walt come to see eye to eye, and Cliff is back on his old route once more. Meanwhile, Sam's new party lifestyle may help bring more customers to the bar, but it's turning off both his regulars and employees. Not to mention the fact that it's effecting his sexaholism in addition to his drinking problem.

303 - Patience, Patients
Leaving private practice was much easier than Frasier had anticipated, but leaving his secretary proves to be more than difficult. Having slept with her only days before, Frasier can't come to let her go. The gang helps Frasier move out of his spacious office, only to find a small cubbyhole at the radio station, where they are suppossed to transport his office supplies.

304 - Give Me Liberty or Give Me Beer
When Norm gets caught skipping out on work to spend the day at Cheers, he fears his whole world will come crashing in on him. For the first time ever, he has a steady job and Vera seems moderately happy. But cashing in on a job he doesn't do, may cost him it all. Before his boss has the chance to fire him, Norm quits, only to later discover he hadn't been caught at all, for the man that saw him in the bar was in fact skipping out on work as well.

305 - Number Nine
Carla gives birth her ninth child, a baby boy she and John Allen Hill decide to name Eddie Hill, after Carla's second husband Eddie LeBec. With a new son, and a sense of commitment, John Allen Hill proposes to Carla, who gratiously accepts. Meanwhile, the gang is stuck with watching over Jesse and Elvis while Carla is at the hospital. As expected, all hell breaks loose, including eight broken chairs and one broken nose, courtesy of Cliff Clavin.

306 - Day With A Drunk
Desperate to get Sam out of the bar, the gang forces him to spend a day with Frasier, who offers him a tour of his radio station, in addition to a tour of his apartment, which Sam has never seen. All seems to go well until around dinner time, when Sam's withdrawal symptoms kick in. Fearing the worst, Frasier looks Sam in his bathroom waiting for him to get ahold of himself. After several hours, Sam claims to be clean, but as soon as he leaves the apartment, it's back to the bottle. Meanwhile, with Sam out of the bar, Carla and Rebecca argue over who should be taking charge.

307 - Curiousity Killed The Barmaid
The most dim-witted of the entire Cheers gang, Kelly is the only one who has ever wondered exactly why Sam has returned to the bottle. They've all had their speculations, fear of age, fear of commitment, or even fear of sex. But nobody has ever dared to ask Sam "why?", until now that is. Fed up with being shoved around, Kelly confronts Sam about his problem, questioning what motivated him to do this. At first his answer is unclear (not just to Kelly), but alone in the office, Sam confides in her, and lets her know that he has no future, nothing to look forward to other than death, so he might as well go happy. Suddenly snapping, Sam chews Kelly out and tells her to never come back to the bar. Taking him lightheartedly, Kelly goes back to work as if nothing as happened, making Sam even more mad; one up for Mrs. Boyd. Meanwhile, Carla tries to convince Woody that Sam is trying to make a move for Kelly, but he doesn't listen, however, the rest of the bar tries very hard to hear any hint of an affair between Sam and Kelly.

308 - Fight Like A (Mail)Man
Cliff takes a long awaited vacation from his job, and spends an all expense-paid trip in Florida for two weeks. The gang tries to cherish the time without him, but their postal-worker-free days are over when Walt Twitchell stops by more frequently. Surprisingly, Walt gets along greatly with the gang, and when Cliff returns to see everyone getting along, even with Walt. Afraid to loose the only place of importance in his life, Cliff challenges Walt to the biggest challenge of all -- bar trivia.

309 - This Party's Over First Appearance of Kathleen Walters
Sam's drinking goes too far when at Melville's, he harasses one of the waitresses. Threatened with a lawsuit, Sam tries to clear everything up. First with the waitress, and then with his drinking. The waitress agrees to settle out of court, on one circumstance -- Sam must give up drinking, which frightens him, and sends him drinking even more. The waitress arranges for an attorney to spend the day with Sam to examine him carefully, making sure he's alcohol free. Sam passes the test, but doesn't go over too well with Kathleen Walters, the attorney, whom he also hits on.

310 - Bar Wars IX: Holiday Fears
It's Christmas time in Boston, and the bars are busy scheming, rather than making eggnog. The gang at Cheers thinks they've finally made the ultimate prank (strapping a Santa with fake dynomite), but the old gang of Gary's Old Towne Tavern, now lodging at the Bull & Finch Pub, has an even better plan; strapping a Santa with real dynomite. Meanwhile, Frasier finds himself fighting with Woody over an action figure for their sons, but somehow Carla is the one who brings the toy home to her children.

311 - A First For Everything
Woody Jr's first Birthday party falls under when a storm tears down the tent at Boston Commons where the festivities were to be held. Trying to make it up to him, Woody and Kelly attempt to hold the party at the bar, with Sam out of town. The gang tries to adjust to the family-friendly crowd, but find it easier when the food arrives. Meanwhile, Rebecca bumps into Don's cousin at the party, who informs her he has hit it rich with a new toilet-pumping device.

312 - A Reunion of Sorts
Cliff's 30th High School Reunion is edging nearer and nearer. He hasn't been to one in years, but the gang pressures him into it. Afraid of what his old gang of friends may think of him, everyone at Cheers tries to convince him that he's the coolest guy in town. The afternoon before the reunion, Cliff is at the bar, as usual. Still hesitant over whether to go, Paul decides to go in his place. If there's one thing Cliff despises more than being around people from High School, it's impersonating a mailman. He returns, only a few hours later, to inform the gang that it was the Class of 1964 Reunion, he graduated in '65, and he wasn't invited at all. Meanwhile, Frasier's date stays the night and bumps into him while he's shaving the following morning, causing him to shave his beard.

313 - A Game of Cat and Barfly
The attractive woman living next door to Frasier is leaving town on business and guilts the good doctor into watching her precious cat. Frasier tries to keep him as happy as possible, but his allergic reactions are making it impossible. He leaves the cat at the bar while he does his radio show, which he has to cut short when his allergic reaction causes him to faint. Meanwhile, the gang at Cheers should faint as well, they've lost the cat, and all hope for Frasier to ever hook up with his neighbor-lady-friend.

314 - Woody or Not?
When Woody and Kelly host a party, Sam is introduced to Kelly's cousin, but she falls for Woody instead of Sam. Woody, tries to shy away, while Sam fells he's a dying hound. Meanwhile, at the party, Kelly tries to organize a variety of games, but nobody wants to play along.

315 - After Ours
Sam's decision to close earlier is driving many of his regulars to explore other bars. Ever since Sam rolled back the closing time an hour, even his employees are questioning, for they have seen a dip in tips. Sam gives in to the pressure of the gang and brings the bar back to its normal hours, but Sam's sleep-depravation is making those last couple hours far from enjoyable.

316 - A Boston Century (Part 1)
Cheers celebrates its 100th Anniversary in style, but Sam seems to be oblivious to it all. Not wanting to ruin the mood when he knows the bar is 105 years old, Sam decides to have the biggest bash in Boston since the tea party. The bar is proclaimed a historical landmark, until John Allen Hill spoils it all by reminding the journalists and newscasters that the centennial anniversary was five years earlier.

317 - A Boston Century (Part 2)
Picking up where part one left off, we find Sam infuriated with John Allen Hill, and all of this being caught on camera. The gang wakes up the next morning, albeit completely smashed, to find the front page article "Centennial Anniversary of Local Pub Found To Be A Fraud, Owner Attacks Upstairs Neighbor." Sam tries to cover it all up, but John Allen Hill is loving the publicity, and Carla is torn between the two.

318 - Bump, Set & Serve
Bored with her old self, Rebecca tries to get herself and the gang moving. She arranges for a volley ball game between the guys and the girls of Cheers. Rebecca, Carla and Kelly vs. Sam, Woody & Norm. Kelly gets a fat lip and Norm is "sidetracked" when Frasier, Cliff & Paul arrive with a couple of six packs. Down a player, Sam and Woody are forced to choose between Frasier, Cliff & Paul. Frasier desperately doesn't want to play, while Cliff and Paul are jumping to get in. They choose Cliff thinking he may scare off Carla, but just the opposite occurs, and Cliff looses the match for the guys.

319 - Stormin' Norman
A terrible storm lands Norm stuck at work while the gang is left at the bar without their favorite regular. Neither the group at Norm's office nor the group at the bar feel really comfortable. Norm tries to get to know the new gang, but each one is more boring than the other. Meanwhile, the gang begins to fall apart without the anchor barfly. After finally being able to leave city hall, Norm rushes to the bar, rather than home. And he arrives just in time to stop a brawl between Cliff and Paul.

320 - Fill Me Up
A disgruntled Kelly refuses to move from her spot at a gas station when the attendant refuses to assist her. Meanwhile, Carla and Woody try to cover up the fact that the keg has run dry and they have no more in storage, while Sam and Rebecca lock themselves in Sam's office refusing to come out until Rebecca decides what she wants to do with her life. Eventually, Sam lets Rebecca go, and Kelly moves from the spot, but only to ram into the car in front of her.

321 - Custodian Custody Special Guest Stars Dr. Lilith Sternin & Louis Pascal
Lilith returns with her former lover (and the former doctor), Louis Pascal, to ask Frasier for a very important favor -- complete custody of their son Frederick. Pascal, now a custodian who happens to work at the lab in which Lilith now devotes her life, has swayed her back into moving into the eco-pod once again. This time, Lilith decides she can not do it without her son, which means she would need complete custody. The gang demands Frasier not to sign any papers, but Lilith lands a huge guilt trip on him. Alone in the poolroom, Frasier and Lilith reunite, but only to agree to do what's best for the child. Frasier decides to let Frederick be with his mother, as he always has. Lilith thanks Frasier immensely, and surprisingly pleads for Louis to live with her above ground, so Frederick can spend time with his father.

322 - Forced Fire
An apartment in Frasier's building goes up for rent, and Cliff has his eyes on it. His contract however with his current landlord means he would have to pay a huge payment in order to leave it. So, he does what any healthy-minded mailman would do, he sets it on fire. The gang thinks he has gone completely insane, but Cliff's only worry is that the neighbors may have seen him commit this crime. But Cliff's real problem is that the apartment he was eyeing has already been fulfilled, and now he's out looking for a place to live.

323 - Pour Poor Peterson
Norm suspects he may be loosing his job, and hires Carla's cousin to spy on his boss to see what's going down. The boss' security guards mistaken Carla's cousin as a stalker and he is put in jail. Almost immediately, he turns in Norm, saying he was fearing he may be cut from his job. The impulse to fire him doesn't go to well when Norm talks with the secretary and bull****s his way into getting a raise and promotion.

324 - Without Coach
On the tenth anniversary of Coach's death, Sam decides to spend some time at his grave. Before Sam can manage to leave the bar, Carla, Cliff, and Norm convince him to take them along for the ride. Sam, Carla, Cliff, and Norm drive around in Cliff's mail truck trying to find the gravesite and bump into Frasier and Woody who they had planned to meet at the grave. Back at the bar, Rebecca and Kelly try to adjust to serving customers without the normal gang around. When the gang finally arrives at the gravesite, they reminisce about their days with Coach. But Sam can't get over the shocking discovery that Coach's daughter Lisa had passed away the year before. A few silent clips of Coach are shown, leading up to his scene with Lisa in "Coach's Daughter." Sam adjusts the bouquet of roses left at the grave, starts to hum "Home On The Range", until the entire gang joins in as they hum their way back to the mail truck. Fade to black.

325 - Night of Your Life (Part 1) Special Guest Star Vinnie Claussen
The fourteenth season of Cheers starts out with Sam allowing bygones to be bygones, as he throws John Allen Hill the greatest bachelor party ever. So great in fact, it takes his breath away, literally. Sam is faced with having to tell Carla that her fiance has died, but can't bear to break the news. Even Cliff is at a loss for words when it comes to having to tell Carla the man she loves has died. Norm takes it upon himself to tell Carla the saddening news, to which she reacts with denial. Frasier is present at the bachelor party sporting a new, shorter haircut that goes unmentioned. Minutes before the funeral is set to begin, Carla is "introduced" to the funeral director, Vinnie Claussen (first seen in Season 4's "2 Good 2 Be 4 Real"), and the two hit it off immediately. Carla and Vinnie get to talking, and he startles her by asking her out for a date, to which she doesn't respond, as her fiance's funeral has to begin. To Be Continued....

326 - The Laws of Love (Part 2) Special Guest Star Vinnie Claussen and Kathleen Walters
A few days following John Allen Hill's funeral, Carla seems to be quickly recovered as her new romance with Vinnie Claussen continues to blossom. With 16 children between them, both Carla and Vinnie doubt anything long term will come of this, but when Carla misses the reading of John Allen Hill's will in favor of a night on the town with Vinnie, she suddenly realizes she may be in love, once again. Before Carla gets too carried away, Sam hires Kathleen Walters as Carla's new attorney, hoping to clear up any problems that may arise, seeing that Carla and John never did get married.

327 - The Best Drinks In Life Are Free
Cliff wins a contest held by Sam for free beer for a year. Both happy for his best friend, and jealous, Norm begins concocting ideas as to how he can get free beer for a year. But, his laziness gets the best of him, and he decides to mooch off Cliff for beer, in turn for Cliff being allowed to move back in with him. Meanwhile, Woody and Kelly have trouble finding a suitable babysitter, and they leave their son in the hands of Carla's kids.

328 - The Inheritance Special Guest Stars Kathleen Walters and Valerie Hill
While relooking over her late-fiance's will, Carla experiences trouble with her would-be step-daughter Valerie, who despises the fact that she would get any of it. Carla's hired attorney, and new friend Kathleen Walters, finds a way to make Valerie cave in -- blackmail. But what the dimwitted daughter doesn't know is that Kathleen has nothing on her, and that there is no blackmail at all. But, nonetheless, she still agrees to split the inheritance, fearing Kathleen may share her "secret." Meanwhile, Cliff gets knocked in the stomach during a game of pool, and wants to hire Kathleen to sue Paul.

329 - Rebecca's Job Offer
After an on-again-off-again employment history at the bar, the gang is surprised when Rebecca comes with news that she may be leaving once and for all. The job offer from a major furniture corporation falls through, but Rebecca decides to stay with her resignation, and not return to working at the bar. Meanwhile, when the gang isn't making bets as to how fast Rebecca will be crawling back, they're bust trying to figure out what to do with the money that would normal go to Rebecca's paycheck. Some ideas thought up are of an arcade machine, a perminant karaoke room, and a laserdisc player, for starters.

330 - Jack & The Beer Stock
With business as big as ever, Rebecca quitting takes a big blow at Sam and his employees. Sam agrees to hire the next person who walks through the door, even if he happens to be a homeless man named Jack. With Woody training Jack behind the bar, Sam is taking over the management position while Kelly and Carla continue to wait tables. But when the profits take a large dip, Sam watches Jack the next day like a hawk. He was expecting he may be stealing money, but it's worse -- he's stealing beer. Unable to fire him, Sam tries to guilt either Woody, Kelly or Carla into it, but when Norm heres somebody is taking free beer from Sam, and it's not him -- he fires him personally.

331 - On Air
Frasier's coworkers at the radio station become eager to meet the cast of characters at his favorite bar. Being the dorky crowd they are, Frasier tries to persuade them into not coming, but when Frasier slips the name of the bar out over the radio, Sam gets some of his best business ever, including the gang from WACL AM. The two group of people in Frasier's life appear to mend together perfectly, except for Cliff, who doesn't quite fit in with the new crowd either. Meanwhile, Sam is out with his new secret girlfriend and is too busy to meet the WACL gang. And Carla's three month "anniversary" dinner plans with Vinnie are spoiled when Vinnie must make immediate funeral plans as the owner of the funeral home where he works has passed away.

332 - Pretty Barmaid
Still trying to recover from Rebecca's sudden urge to quit, Sam hires a woman with whom he had spent the last night with. What Sam doesn't know is that she is a hooker, and that she's only working at the bar waiting for Sam to pay her. When Sam hears of this, he can't bear to face her. Sick and tired of Sam backing himself into a corner, Rebecca acts as if she is Sam's wife and demands the hooker to leave the bar immediately. Sam tries to thank her, but she won't have it -- all she wants is her job back, and a raise.

333 - Mail Order Bride (Part 1)
Life at the bar couldn't be better, even Cliff seems to be more likable. Partially because he has news that his long awaited mail-order bride is on the way. When Cliff's bride to be arrives, the gang can't seem to find out where she is from. Wedding arrangements are made immediately, and Cliff asks Sam to use the bar. The episode ends with Cliff waiting at the altar, until a telegram arrives with news that his "fiance" wants to go home.

334 - Mail Order Bride (Part 2) Special Guest Star Kathleen Walters
The gang tries to help Cliff cope with his being stood up at the altar. When they discover that she was living in Bosnia, Carla can't help but crack jokes. Cliff asks for his attorney, Kathleen Walters, to help him sue the "Bosnian Bride." Cliff discovers that she hasn't left the country and arranges to meet her in the bar for her as he waits to give her her passeport. The tedious wait causes Cliff to forget all about his Bosnian beau, and attempts to pursue Miss Walters. Meanwhile, the gang continues to question Sam as to exactly who his secret lover is.

335 - Ohh Lonely Night
The usual plan to spend Christmas Eve at the bar goes south when the gang breaks into an arguement over whether there were "three wisemen" or "three kings." Not wanting to spend Christmas with a bunch of bickering barflies, Sam tells them that he and his secret lover are going away for the holiday and that they have to find their own place to spend it. Sam tries to convince his secret lover to go away with him for Christmas, but she won't leave her family. This leaves Sam all alone on Christmas, or so he thinks. Every other member of the gang decides to drop by, thinking they can have the bar for their own families for the night. Everyone joins in for a Christmas celebration, aside from Carla and Vinnie, who spend the night on a car ride traveling to the airport to pick up a corpse.

336 - Budding Romance
Sam's secret love interest is finally revealed to the audience, although at this point nobody knows but Sam. Her name -- Kathleen Walters. Making matters worse, Sam and Kathleen can't bare to be in the same room together without having their hands all over eachother. In hopes to throw off the gang, Kathleen arranges for a bouquet of flowers to be sent to Sam, from a random woman. The random woman has to have a name, and Kathleen seems to have decided on "Diane", to which the gang reacts in an uproar when the flowers arrive. Sam tries to cover up both his growing relationship with Kathleen from the gang, along with disguising his former relationship with Diane from Kathleen. Cliff, trying to make his move on Kathleen, uses the Sam and Diane love-story as a means to work his way into her heart, completely oblivious to the fact that she is secretly dating Sam.

337 - The Hard Felt Truth Special Guest Star Kathleen Walters
Sam and Kathleen plan to tell the gang about their life together, but Sam is embarassed to wear a felt pin Kathleen has made for him. Sam and Kathleen get into a fight over her artistic ability, and they end up spending their two-month anniversary apart. Meanwhile, Carla and Woody discover that Paul, Phil, Frasier, Cliff, and Norm all have had their own keys made for the bar, and fail to discover that Kelly was dumb enough to make them for them. The episode ends with Sam introducing Kathleen as his fiance to everyone at Cheers.

338 - Lady Krapence (Part 1)
Pauls ex-wife, Lady (yes, that's her name), comes back for him. The gang at the bar is stunned to see such a beautiful woman as Paul's wife, all the while he cracks jokes about how she has let herself go. Just as Paul and the rest of the gang thinks they may be together, Sam spots Lady with another man. Sam tries to tell Paul but he won't listen, claiming Sam is just jealous. Paul decides to take a chance and take back his ex-wife. Meanwhile, John Allen Hill's estate is finally finalized as Valerie is given the home and luxuries, as Carla becomes owner of Melville's.

339 - Lady Krapence (Part 2)
Paul returns from the courthouse completely distraught, for the Justice of the Peace was Lady's lover, Guy Bailey. Paul tells the story to the gang, and they all break out in laughter when Paul gets to the part where Guy tells Paul to kiss the bride, and she kisses Guy instead. Lady storms into the bar wanting to apologize to Paul, but he won't listen. She forces Paul to join her in the pool room as they try to work it out. Paul gets to thinking that they will stay married, but she serves him divorce papers once again. Meanwhile, as the new owner of Melville's, Carla is angered to discover that she has been locked off from entering her own restaurant.

340 - High In The Mid-90s Special Guest Star Kathleen Walters
Carla resigns from her waitressing job at Cheers and prepares to take on the responsibility of owner and manager of Melville's. Carla's first day is an entire mess, with her entire cooking staff stoned. Carla recruits Frasier, Paul, Norm, and Cliff to help her cook, but they make matters worse. Carla's attorney Kathleen Walters comes in to the restaurant and within seconds whips the cooking staff back into shape. Kathleen confiscates the marijuana and leaves it on the counter for Carla to dispose of, but Cliff gets ahold of it first, and he along with Paul and Norm, get high.

341 - Liberty and Just Us For All Special Guest Star Kathleen Walters
With Carla up at Melville's, Sam is busy looking for a new waitress, when Kathleen comes up with the perfect plan for Sam to get new customers -- promote the fact that Carla is gone. Sam's "Abuse Free, Drinks On Me" campaign seems to go well, until Carla gets word, and Sam quickly realizes how sweet of a neighbor John Allen Hill really was. Meanwhile, with Carla gone, Cliff runs his mouth more than ever, and the larger crowd Sam was getting with Carla gone, was leaving twice as fast when Clavin arrived.

342 - The Boxed Office
Sam and Kathleen go out of town and the bar is left to Rebecca. Taking back charge of the bar she supposedly manages, Rebecca discovers the job has become excedingly difficult, especially when she screws up an order bill and comes to the bar to find it packed with boxes upon boxes of pretzels, over 3 tons in fact. With the bar packed with pretzels, the regulars hang out at Melville's for a while, and Carla is forced to decide between her gang of friends and paying customers. Meanwhile, Woody tries to impress his father-in-law by preparing dinner for he and his new love interest, whom Woody accidentally tells about one of Mr. Gaines' affairs.

343 - Boyd or Girl?
Kelly thinks she may be pregnant, but doesn't want to tell Woody as he's going to New York to audition for a Broadway production. Woody heads off for the Big Apple and Kelly is left to watch Woody Jr, as she works at the bar, and wonders whether or not they are going to have a second child. Meanwhile, Phil looses his hearing aid and the whole gang is sent searching for it. Kelly takes confidence in Sam when she tells him that she is with child, to which he reacts in great fear thinking he may somehow be the father. When Woody calls to check up on Kelly, they both have some news to share with eachother. She decides "if he doesn't get the part, I'll tell him. If he does, I'll have the baby tell him," but he makes her tell her news first, as Kelly is delighted to announce she's pregnant. Woody then tells her that he didn't get the part, and that they'll be able to stay in Boston. Kelly reacts with great joy, as does Woody, even though he had actually gotten the part.

344 - How To Secede In Business
Walt Twitchell goes missing and a new man is brought in as Cliff's boss, who begins reshuffling immediately. The first casuality just happens to be Clavin, who sulks his sorrows at Cheers for days to come. Wanting to help Cliff get out of the dumps, the gang tries to find him a new job, but Carla wants nothing to do with it. Without his postal authority, Cliff is much quieter and less of a know it all. In less than 24 hours of deciding to do so, they find a job for Cliff, something which took them months upon months for Norm. Cliff is thrilled to be working again, but takes it back when he finds out he'll be a man in brown.... working for UPS. Meanwhile, Woody tries to get the lead in a school play, not realizing it's for students only.

345 - Bar Wars X: Special Edition
Gary's Olde Town Tavern reopens out of thin air, and the Cheers gang reacts in an uproar, well, a slightly drunken, laid-back, "who gives a ****?", uproar. Woody thinks a three way war between Cheers, Gary's, and The Bull & Finch will erupt, but has to have Cliff explain to him that The Bull & Finch and Gary's are practically one in the same. With an army of barflies nearly twice their size against them, the Cheers gang can only think of one way to win the war -- bowling. The Cheers gang thinks they may take home the title again, but when a crippled Gary arrives, they forfeit the title, only to have Gary miraculously be healed.

346 - Together Again Special Guest Stars Kathleen Walters and Dr. Lilith Sternin
A desperate Frasier consoles a lonely Lilith as she comes bearing news that Louis Pascal has left her for a man. Frasier and Lilith's rekindled love grows rapidly, but she can't seem to get it across to him that she will not be moving back to Boston. Meanwhile, before getting word of Lilith's return, Sam has arranged for Frasier to meet an old flame, leading to mass confusion including Lilith suspecting of Sam of being interested in Frasier. Meanwhile, Carla has trouble keeping up with the gossip going on at Cheers, and she too has a misunderstanding -- she thinks Sam has got a thing for Lilith.

347 - Small Talk Special Guest Star Kathleen Walters
In a Cheers first, the entire episode is presented in realtime. 23 minutes of 11 bar patrons just sitting back, and shooting the breeze. Sam, Kathleen, Rebecca, Carla, Woody, Kelly, Frasier, Paul, Cliff and Phil are stuck in the bar during a terrible storm. Just when they think no one can come in and no one can go out, Norm storms through the door, completely drenched. During the episode, the gang talks on a number of subjects including an arguement over who was the better Darren on Betwitched and a conversation between Frasier and the rest of the gang over what whether or not he will move to Philly to be with Lilith. Woody is sent to find some more candles in the closet, and gets himself locked in. When the subject of the date of Sam and Kathleen's wedding arrises, Sam and Kathleen erupt into a fight which has obvilious been fought before. Meanwhile, Carla jumps back and forth between hanging with the Cheers gang and keeping the employees of Melville's happy. The episode ends with the storm clearing up, but nobody seems to want to leave, and Norm calls for another round, as Woody continues to pound on the closet door in hopes of being rescued.

The first of which is Sumner Sloane, Diane's ex-fiance who has gone on to become a top-selling author and a frequent guest on a cable news network. 276 - Long Time (Part One)

A big thanks to Chambers for the Normism.

Teaser
The twelfth season of Cheers brings us back to the bar where everybody knows your name. The episode opens with an exterior shot of the bar, then a shot of the empty hallway, from which Sam walks towards the bar, with a rag over his shoulder, humming the Frasier themesong.

The phone rings, Sam walks from the "Frith table" to Norm's stool, reaches over the bar and answers it.

Sam: Cheers. (stalls for about 4 seconds) Sorry, no, she got married a few months ago and hasn't been back to the bar since. (stalls for about 2 seconds) I could forward the message though, may I ask who's speaking?? (listens for answer of the phone for a second, then drops his jaw for about 5 seconds) Ohh, sorry, excuse me. I've got it, Evan Drake, 555-4309. (hangs the phone, looks off is disbelieve for a couple of seconds, shakes his head and picks up the phone and begins to dial)

The front door opens, in walks an unexpected Diane Chambers. Sam doesn't look up, as he continues to dial the phone.

Sam: (waiting for Rebecca to pick up the phone) (to Diane) Hiya Carla! (tosses her an apron, without ever looking in her direction) (The other side of the phone is obviously dead, and Sam hangs up) Damn, Rebecca and Don must've moved again.

Throughout this all Diane is smirking, walking around slowly, wiping down tables.

Diane: (disguising her voice behind her rag) What's going on with Rebecca anyhow??

Sam: Drake, Evan Drake wants to meet with her.

Diane: (obviously confused by the Evan Drake reference) (once again, disguising her voice) Ohh, uhh, which one was he again?

Sam: (grabs about 4 mugs and a few wine glasses) Carla, are you feeling alright?

Diane: (disguised voice) Perfectly fine, Sammy. So, (moves her head around trying to find something to say) did you catch the Redsox last night?

Sam: The Sox didn't play last night.

Diane: (diguised voice) Ohh, yeah, I meant, (makes a face thats a cross between pissed off and "damn Im caught") just forget it Sammy.

Sam: Yeah, sure, forget it.

Diane: (finally exposing her voice, as Sam walking from behind the bar to the closet) Forget it all, Sam.

Sam's face goes blank as his jaw drops, along with his arms full of glasses and mugs. He turns around to see Diane, waving sheepishly, as she tilts her head a little, and smiles.

Cue themesong.

Scene 1
Act 1
The show returns from commercial with the typical exterior shot, leading into a full bar, later that evening, with the exception of Sam, all are oblivious to Diane's unexpected return.
Sam is in office, off camera, as Carla and Woody are working behind the bar. In their normal seats are Cliff, Paul, Phil, and Lilith

Cliff: And that is why the venus flytrap no longer cohabitats with the common house fly.

Paul: Venus flytrap??

Cliff: That's what I said, isn't it?

Carla: You've said plenty Clavin, so shut your yap. (Paul laughs)

Lilith: (looking up from usual table, which she now frequents alone) I for one found Cliff's theory very informative, although he may not have concured exactly as to which specific species of venus flytrap was in question, which can always make the most significant difference, but who's keeping track anyways?? (gets up from her seat and grabs a pretzel from in front of Norm, bites half of it, points to the guys as if motioning "that's right, bitch", and sits back down)

Woody: (looking blankly at Lilith) I agree Dr. Sternin-Crane.

(Carla, Cliff, Paul, and Phil all turn away, hiding their faces as to not make eye contact with Lilith, as she rises slowly from her chair)

Lilith: (clears her throat) It's just Sternin.

Woody: What's just Sternin, Dr. Sternin-Crane??

Lilith: My name, it's Sternin. No Crane, just Sternin.

Woody: (whispering to the guys) I thought her name was Lilith.

Lilith: It is Lilith.

Woody: (whispering again) Dang, she heard me.

Lilith: Lilith Sternin, no Crane. (progressively getting louder) No Crane in the name, no Crane in the house, no Crane in my life. Why, why, why?

(Everybody quickly walks to the other side of the bar)

Sam: (obviously still shaken up) Is there a problem?? Lilith?

Lilith: Yes Sam?? (runs over into his arms, which he responds to akwardly)

Sam: (tries to push her away, but she doesn't budge) Maybe you should see a conselor.

(At the other end of the bar, everyone makes "ut-oh" noises)

Lilith: (crinks her head to the side) A conselor?? Why Sam, do I have a problem??

Sam: (frightened) No, no, you just haven't been yourself lately. Tell ya what, you bring the kid on over and we'll watch him for the day, you go have some time for yourself.

Lilith: That's all I have, is time to myself. No husband, no lover, no life. Every night consists of well, you people.

Carla: (shouting for the opposite side of the bar) Casper and friends!!

Paul: I don't think Casper was ever that white.

Carla: No, but you're pretty damn close.

(As Paul walks away from Carla sulking into the pool room, the camera pans with him to come back on Sam and Lilith, who are standing behind Lilith's normal table)

Sam: I don't know what to tell ya, divorce can be murder.
(Lilith makes an evil laugh to herself, and smirks) What is it?

Lilith: Why Sam, I never thought you'd figure it out. (she laughs to herself again)

Sam: Hey, hey, just back off okay. So I made a slip, I'm sorry. At least I didn't go cheating on my wife.

(Lilith turns away and begins to leave, obviously upset)

Sam: (grabs Lilith and pulls her over by the telephone to talk to her privately) I apologize, that was very low of me.

Lilith: (nods her head) Thank you Sam, I must be going now. Thank you for everything (kisses him on the cheek)

Sam: (taken back by the kiss, although it was hardly significant) There's something I need to tell you, this morning, I was uncovering the pooltable, and I got my finger stuck between the ball and the hole and really hurt, I mean, look (shows her his finger, which she doesn't take a second to look at and puts it back by his side) Then I got my finger out of the hole and came out to put down the stools, ya know? Then the phone ran (gets cut off by....)

Norm: Evening everybody!!

Everybody: NORM!!

Woody: (now behind the bar) How's life, Mr. Peterson?

Norm: As good as it can get when both God and Satan hate your guts.

DELAYED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

At least with Cheers its more line-line-joke.

I know what you mean. Cheers was an ingenious comedy machine - the format is almost always the same, you just insert different jokes. Even so, I do plan on trying a Frasier fanfic one of these days.

With Frasier, the jokes are funny throughout the entire episode.... but for the most part they all lead up to one hilarious moment. (which sometimes can stretch for minutes)

I moved the script, which I may update eventually, but for now Im sticking to the summaries (much more enjoyable for myself)

I'll edit my first post to include the entire Twelfth Season.

Maybe not as "woohoo" as you think, if the show had gone on, Kirstie would have most likely stayed around, Frasier never would have happened, and Diane would have been held back until the series finale.

Ah, you are probably anti-romance...soaps have plenty of that, and much, much more. On one of my soaps, a character came back from the dead, posed as another person and purposely had sex with his cousin (who was a virgin) for revenge on the family! Now that is twisted!

Oh, so he just wrote synopses. I have to say that the story ideas are fantastic. I especially like the 'Life, love and the purse suit of happiness' synopses. My only problem with that I don't know what to make of the end part where Martin mistakes the baby carrier for a built in purse.

267 - Life, Love, and the Purse Suit of Happiness
