View Full Version : The New Odd Couple? Lady T 07-28-2003, 03:00 AM I am curious if anybody out there has seen the New Odd Couple with Demond Wilson (Lamont from Sanford and Son) and Ron Glass (Det. Harris of Barney Miller) Was it as bad as people said it was?:lol: I am Roboto 07-28-2003, 04:30 PM I've seen it, and it wasn't that it was bad, it was that they recycled the scripts from the original Odd Couple for 8 of the 13 episodes. By the time the came up with new plots, people didn't care, and the show was cancelled. Chris. What was the purpose of copying something that was genius to begin with and then ruined by them??? The later episodes did use new plots, but it was too late to salvage the show.
