sculpting. Salesmen in an art supply store put her to work on a lump of clay and she
uses the Mertzes as models for a modernistic creation. The climax comes when art
critics haud her weird effort as a masterpiece.
4:00PM I Love Lucy #80 – Ricky Minds the Baby
Ricky changes his vacation plans so he can spend all his time with Little Ricky. Lucy uses her free time to go shopping, but when she returns she find Little Ricky wandering the hallway by himself. Ricky and Fred have been so involved in a TV football game, the hadn't noticed him wander off. To teach Ricky a lesson, Lucy phones her husband and nonchalantly asks about Little Ricky. Panic sets in when the father realizes his son is missing.
4:30PM I Love Lucy #104 – Ricky’s Screen Test
The term "help-mate" takes on a new meaning with the appearance of Lucy on a Hollywood movie lot. The cameras roll for Ricky's screen test but when the big moment arrives Lucy takes the cue.

Now that episode is a classic. One of my all-time faves.

I Love the fact that WKRP Is coming but im also a bit disapointed that Happy Days is leaving Twice As Nice. Mr. Ed is pretty good.

Ewwwww. My thoughts:

~ How dare they put "Get Smart", "Batman", "Superman", and "The Bob Newhart Show" on hiatus

~ They shoulda made an effort to keep "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" on the air

~ Nice to see "Gilligan" gone from twice as nice but they've already ran "Gidget" into the ground, "Happy Days" should stay

~ I like "Jeannie" and "Bewitched" moving to 3PM & 6PM

~ No primetime slot or launch event for "Mister Ed" ?

~ I'm surprised to only see a 1PM airing of "Bonanza" but that's alright

~ Nice to see "WKRP" in the Kitschen and "Hazel"/"Father Knows Best" remaining on BLTT

~ Box Sets and Emmy Week look cool

~ "Bewitched" and "Jeannie" must be doing well since they're still getting 4 times a day airings

~ Overall, the schedule is much worse than it currently is and I need to enjoy "Get Smart", "Batman", "Superman", "Bob Newhart", and "Mary Tyler Moore" as much as possible

Not a bad schedule. But Gilligan's Island replacing The Bob Newhart Show!!!??? Is Bob Newhart just on a hiatus or did TV Land lose the rights to it?

- I didn't expect for WRKP in Cincinatti to be added to the schedule, it's been a long time since it aired on Nick at Nite, I always thought it would fit perfectly onto their schedule.
- It was about time that Soap got the boot, they've been airing the same episodes OVER and OVER again, I also thought it was a smart move because it will be coming to DVD this September.
- I'm surprised Tabitha and Gidget, (but no Flying Nun?) will be returning, I'm anxious to see both of them again.
- I'm dissapointed that many of the shows in the late-night time-slots will be on hiatus, especially Batman, The Adventures of Superman and Charlie's Angels. I also hope that Get Smart will return, I know TV Land will lose the rights this year, so hopefully they will renew it.
- Why is TV Land putting Gidget in a "Twice as Nice" block?
- I'm glad The Love Boat has returned back to the schedule, but not at 5:00AM.

Hi all,
I think it's nice to see that somebody at TVLand finally took the time to sit down and put some thought into a schedule that:


1) Keeps *almost* everything on the current schedule seen -- even if only once or twice a week.

2) Includes a few nice new additions.

3) Gives the ax to a bare minimum.


I can't help but wonder, though, is there some kind of law which states that TVLand absolutely MUST give 2 hours out of every day to "Gunsmoke"? I might be wrong, but I can't help but feel that most of us here might be a lot happier if it weren't for that.

I'm happy about the addition of "Bonanza," only because of one specific episode I've been dying to see again since the night it first aired in 1973. I just hope I live long enough for them to get through the hundreds of episodes that came before it and will, most likely, come before it on TVLand. I'm also glad I have as many "Batmans" as I do on tape!

I only have one complaint: "Bonnanza" will be directly opisite "Dallas" on SoapNet:mad: :mad: :mad:


And I'm glad they're adding "WKRP" to the "Kitshen". I've always thought that it would fit in perfectly there!

Why "Gidget" again? It was nice to see it the 1st time but they've aired just about every episode 20 thousand times.Why don't they just get to other shows that many people haven't seen in a while.Double Trouble? Get A Life? Rhoda? Ladies' Man? Those shows haven't been run in YEARS! They need to get air time!

Why not "Flying Nun" on 'Twice As Nice' instead?
That show lated a good 82 episodes.
Who cares if Sally Field hates it. Madonna hates her old material and VH1 Classic still jam 'em on their airplay. (BTW, I'm an old skool Madonna fan :D)

Or just keep "Charlie's Angels"...to replace "Fantasy Island".

I always liked "WKRP . . . " But, if asked to choose between *it* and "Soap," I'd definitely pick "Soap."

After another look at the schedule, it seems to me that an hour a day -- 6 days a week is a bit too much for "Gidget." It was a cute little show, but in my opinion, it belongs in the Kitschen.

I'm glad that Love Boat is coming back-even if it is in an early morning time slot. Maybe that will change after awhile. I didn't think they'd bring it back at all.

Gidget and Mr. Ed two of the most mindless shows ever telecast on TV:explode:

looks like a decent schedule

Here are my thoughts:

- I'm very surprised that TV Land gave I Love Lucy another timeslot (4AM). I never expected that to happen. Does this mean that the show will loose either its late morning or evening timeslot in the (near or distant) future? I hope not.
- I am disappointed that there will be only one airing for The Munsters and of the fact that the show will not air at 7PM much longer.
- It wasn't a shock to me to see either Gilligan's Island or Happy Days leave the twice as nice block. I knew TV Land was going to do it sooner or later. I only wish they would change their minds and keep Happy Days on twice as nice as long as possible.
- I am upset that Gusmoke is STILL airing on TV Land. Period.
- It's nice to see that TV Land has finally to come to their senses concerning The Andy Griffith Show. This show will no longer be airing at 7:30pm anymore which is fabulous and now all they need to do is scrap it's 10:00pm timeslot.
- It's always sad to see a great show go - - - especially Mary Tyler Moore. That's one of the best shows out there as far as I am concerned. TV Land should renew the rights to it.
- TV Land must be losing it - - - moving Sanford and Son up a hour. AT 7 & 7:30PM? That's overdoing it I think since the show already airs at 9:00pm. It would be wise of them to spread the show's timeslots out a bit. First it was My Three Sons, then The Andy Griffith Show, and now Sanford and Son. Doesn't this network ever learn?
- I'm indifferent about TV Land's decision of getting rid of their late-nights shows such as The Bob Newhart Show, Batman, ect.
- I'm very happy to see Barney Miller finally leaving the schedule. It's been long overdue.
- What!? Gidget back in Twice As Nice? TV Land has lost it.
- I'll be looking forward in seeing WKRP In Cincinnatti on TV Land.
- And last but certainly not least . . . I am EXCITED for MISTER ED! I've been looking forward to this show for over six months and now it's almost here!


AND ONE MORE THING . . .
Overall, TV Land's September 2003 schedule sucks in my opinion. The scheduling is bad because most of the shows are airing in all of the wrong places as far as the schedule goes. They should reconsider their schedule before September rolls around.

I can't wait for WKRP and Gidget! :woohoo: But everything else kinda sucks. When do Flip Wilson, Carol Burnett, etc. come to TV Land? That's what I'm waiting for.

I'm just glad that I recently taped most of the "Get Smart" episodes during the last couple of runs. It's nice to see them shaking things up.

They're so wrong for dropping the Angels. They added it because of the 2000 movie, and now they are dropping it when the new movie come sout? I'm not a fan of the movies, but they could at least keep the series on the air until the hype for the seuqel dies down. For most of the last two years, they've aired it in that graveyard slot....it had great competition though....infomercials and Pat Robertson...

Here's my perspective on TVL's upcoming schedule

1. Very Happy to see both WKRP & Tabitha coming to the Kitschen-it was time for both Soap & Fernwood 2Night to go!

2. Unhappy about "The Munsters" losing its 7PM airing.

3. Unhappy about the loss of "Barney Miller", "The Bob Newhart Show", and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show".

4. Indifferent about TVL's decision to dump the 7:30PM airing of "The Andy Griffith Show". After all, it still airs at 10PM. I just wish they'd add "Mayberry R.F.D"!

5. Very happy about the return of "Mr. Ed".

And finally, #6, Very Disappointed at TVL's thoughtless decision to bring back Gidget-and in the Twice-as-Nice block too! This is a horrible mistake.

Tabitha!!! Yay!!! I'm glad they're bringing back this show. I religously taped it last year, every weekend, and unfortunately missed the very last episode they showed. Still kinda kick myself for it, but now I'll have another chance to tape it. I really actually liked the show. It has sort of a groovy, relaxing, comforting, soporific effect on me. It may not have been realistic, but I liked it...:)

I enjoy watching Mr. Ed on TV Land weekdays at 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm central time I hope Mr. Ed stats on TV Land Schedule for many Years to come and I hope that Mr Ed is getting Good Ratings weekdays at 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm central time on
TV Land Schedule I also watch Mr. Ed at 2:00 am central time
on TV Land.
