Hi, everyone.I'm new here and this is my first fanfiction, so if it sucks just tell me (me english is not very good but i hope you'll understand).

*Nate's apartment*

An alarm ring woke up Nate.Sleepy, he looked around the room and then, to a beautiful woman who was sleeping next to him. Nate had 2 hours left until until his job's start so he didn't rush. Slowly he leaned over the woman and gently kissed her lips.
"Hiya,beautiful"he put his arms around her.
"Hiyyyaaa......."she said and closed her eyes again.
"Awwwww, it seems like somebody doesn't want to get out of the bed this morning"Nate smiled.
"Actually, i wouldn't mind to stay here for the rest of the day"she turned on the other side.Devilish sparkles twinkled in Nate's eyes."Well, i know one way that could help you to get out of the bed"he kissd her witn passion.
"Then why don't you tell me?"
"I better show you".They started kissing and Nate climbed on top of her.....

*Half an hour later*

"Sooo, what do you think?"Nate took her in his arms and smiled.
"I think i'd trade you for my alarm clock"CD grinned and kissed him."and now we should really get up"and they both went to the shower,had breakfast and went to the Division, both hoping nobody would notice that CD was wearing the same clothes she was wearing yesterday.Normally, therethere have been a couple of her clothes at Nate's apartment but a few days ago she took them to wash. Now, she regretted she did.

*The Division*

"Ummm.... did i miss something ?"Mag asked jinny confused.
"What?"Jinny didn't understand.
"I mean, what's wrong with those two?"She pointed to CD and Nate,who were smiling and laughing at each other all the time since they came .
"Yeah,i see what you mean, but i have no idea.Let's find out!"Jinny stood up and headed to CD's desk.

Jinny and Magda stood next to CD's desk, both crossed their arms in front of their chests, and both staring at Cd and Nate.
"Sooooo..........."Jin looked at CD.
"Sooo......"she took a look at her and Mag confused,then glanced at Nate and and then, at her co-workers again.
"oh come on guys, what drugs did you take today?"Mag blurt out.There was a moment of silence.
"I,I,I don't understand what are you talking about"Nate said.He looked some kind of strange.His voice was trembling and he rubbed his wet palms to his pants.
"Yeah,right.Don't pretend dumb and..."Jinny was cut off by Kate."Jinny,Magda i've got a case for you two.Into my office,please.Oh, and CD, Nate ,good morning".
"Good morning,Cap"they both said at the same time and smiled in a relief.The captain saved them from Jinny and Magda, but as those two turned to go, Jin looked at Nate and said"this conversation isn't over yet".
The two lovers watched them disappearing in Cap's office and looked at each other with the eyes full of love.
"That was close"Nate tokk a deep breath.
"Yeahhhh.I hate this"CD growled.She hated cheating her friends at the Division,but she couldn't do anything.She knew that Cap wouldn't like that and that's why their love had to be a secret.
"I know, i feel the same way but there's nothing we can do about it.You know what the Cap would do if she finds out."Nate tried to comfort her .
It's true, but we can't hide this forever Nate.

Nate took CD's hands and looked in her babyblue eyes.They just stared at each other and kept silence. Then Nate looked aroun, gently pulled her hand at his mouth and kissed it.
"I love you Candance" he whispered. He wanted to cry out loud that everyone would know how much he loved CD but this time Nate had to satisfy with a quiet whisper.
"I love you too"CD smiled.Suddenly the Cap office's door opened and Mag with Jinny rushed out,but when they saw Nate holding CD by the hands,they both stopped and stared at the two lovers.By that time they were already back to work pretending that nothing happened but they both knew that Jin and Mag wouldn't let this go.Jin gave Mag a "let's go to them" look and they both went to NAte's desk.
"Care to explain what you were doing here while we were at the ofiice"Jin said mocking.
"And don't tell us that you don't know what are we talking about or that you did nothing.We saw.EVERYTHING!"Mag added.
"Oh,you mean that.Well I........I was holding CD's hand because,.....because...... Nate was stuttering.
"Because I hurt my hand and Nate wanted to find out if i was OK"CD tried to corner.
"Reeeeaaaally"it was obvious that Mag didn't believe them.
"And how bad is that?"Jin asked sarcasticly.
"It's just a scratch on my finger.Nothing serious.Really."CD said as if everything that she and Nate said was true.She knew that neither Magda nor Jinny believed them but this lie was better than nothing.
" You're still here?!"Kate cried standing in the door way.
"We were just leaving Cap"Mag said and she and Jinny left.

"Hey you two!"Kate called still standing in the doorway "i've got a case for you too"she came by Nate's desk and handed him a folder.
"What's this case about?"CD asked.
"Male,black.His body was found in the dumpster.I want you on this case.Any questions?"she looked at them.
"No Cap.Let's go CD"Nate gave her a huge smile.
"Ah....yeah,OK"cd was confused.Why was Nate so happy?she couldn't understand.They stepped in the elevator and CD pushed the button.They were the only people there so Nate ambraced her from the back, turned her and kissed her lips full of fire.When they broke the kiss CD looked at Nate.
"What?"he smiled.She was watching him so intently.The elevator door opened and they headed to the car before CD could answer.When they got in the car and started to drive CD looked at Nate again.He noticed she was watching him again.
"You didn't answer my question yet"he glanced at her.
"OK.It's just........you are so happy.Why?" Nate laughed when he heard the answer to his question.
"what's so funny?"CD didn't understand anything.
"Nothing.You wanna know why i am so happy?I'll tell you why.Well, i am happy because, because i like hiding."he smiled at her.
"you like what?"CD was almost in shock.
"I like hiding.I mean,today.Didn't you like the thought that they almost found out about us?he grinned.
"I was a little scared but yeah,i did.I felt a strange quiver of some kinda excitement.I don't know."she smiled.
"Something like that.We're here."Nate said as he stopped the car.

Hiya everyone.Sorry for not writing so long.Some dork disconnected me of the net. And here's my story

They got out of the car and went to the crime place.There was a crowd of people around it.They came to the covered body.
"Hello"an officer greeted them.
"Hi"CD and Nate spoke together.
"Male,black, about 50-60,ID unknown.His head was crushed and the morgue guys guessed that it caused his death but they will be sure after the autopsy" the officer told them.
"And the weapon?" CD asked.
"Not found." Nate leaned to uncover the body but before he could do that tha officer stopped him.
"If i were you i'd not do that"she warned him.
"Why?"nate didn't understand.
"As i told you before his head was crushed and believe me, the view is horrible."she made a face.
"It's OK.I've seen a lot.I can deal with this too"and Nate removed the cover.What he saw surpassed everything he have seen.Suddenly CD started feeling sick.She have never seen anything like this before.She put her palm on her mouth and ran to the nearest trashcan.she leaned over it and started to vomit. Nate rushed to her and held her hair while she was puking.When she stopped, Nate ran to the acr took a bottle of water and gave it to CD.she gladly accepted it and took a few sips.
"Awww"was all she said.all she wanted to do was to go home and to get some sleep but she had to solve a case so she started to go to the body.
"Wait'Nate grabbed her by the elbow."Where do you think you're going?"he was almost in shock.
"Ahhhhhh.......to find out anything more about the case"she said simply.
"You're not going anywhere.Now,you get back in the car and wait until i talk to a few people and take you home where you could have a rest"he ordered her.he was worried about CD and wanted her to feel better and the least he could do now was to take her home.
"Nate,i'm fine.I just........"CD wanted to protest but was cut off by her partner.
"you just threw up your breakfast.i will take you home you want that or not.the conversation is over"he threw her a 'you better listen to me' look and she reakised that arguing with him would be useless.

While Nate was talking with some people, CD was sitting inthe car .She was a little angry with him.<who does he think he is?> she thought.But her other side was verry happy that Nate cared about her so much.Finally Nate got back.
"Feel any better?"he asked still worried.
"Yeah,i guess so.Nate, thanks"she put her arm on his and smiled.
"Aaaaaaa......you welcome.May ia ask you for what?"he looked at her a little bit unshure.
"For just being here with me.And for taking care of me."
"This is the least i can do babe"he touched her face and started an engine.But a few minutes later CD grabbed a paper bag to throw up.Again.Nate stopped the car and looked at her.She looked so tired and so...........helpless.
"Yuck"CD leaned back and took a bottle with water.
"I think you should see a doctor"Nate was worried again.
"No,it's just because of that horrible body we saw.I'll just go home and get some sleep.Tomorrow i'll be fine"she looked at him with those puppy eyes.
"OK,but i'll stay with you.In case you need anuthing,you know"he wanted to be by her side and to help her.That moment he realised thet he had never felt this way before.Of course,he had been in love, but he never loved anoyone so strong like he loved CD.He realised that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of the life with,to have children and to die with.
"No,we,ve got a case to solve,or rather you've got a case now.The has to be at least one of us working with it.I'm not a child,Nate.I can take care of my self."
"Fine, but if you need anything just call me.Day or night.Deal?"he spreaded his hand.
"Deal"CD shaked his hand and smiled.Nate was happy to see her smiling again.For the rest of the road there was silence between them.CD was just sitting with her eyes closed and Nate was focused on the road.
"CD,CD,honey,we're here"he gently shaked her sholder.
"What?Oh.Thanks Nate.she mumbled.
"I'll,umm,escort you"he started getting out of the car.
"What?afraid that something may happen to me?"Cd grinned.
"Yes.No!I men........lets go"he took her by her hand.

"Home sweet home"CD said as she and Nate entered her apartment.She took her shoes off and sat down on the coutch.
"Well you can go now"she looked at Nate.
"I can't believe it!You're kicking me out?"he made an offenced face.
"There is a case waiting for you so get out of here"she laughed.
"OK<OK but if you need anything or you just don't wanna be alone call me.Anytime."Nate knealed in front of her.
"I will" she kissed him ."And now you really have to go."she gently pushed him .
"OK bye"Nate kissed her on the forehead and left.CD sighed but suddenly she jumped and ran to the bathroom.She started throwing up again.
"Oh god, i guess that body shocked me more than i expected."she said to herself ss she made her way to the kitchen.CD hoped that tomorrow she will feel better than now. She made a cup of tea, drank it slowly and went to the bed.She didin't even take a shower.She just wanted to get some sleep.
Meanwhile Nate was driving in his car,thinking about CD.He was very concerned about her.She kept telling him she was OK but he knew her too well to understand she was liyng.He knew she felt bad but he also knew that she didin't want to admit that.Suddenly his cell rang.
"Hello"he put his cell to his ear."Yes.I'll be there in about 5 minutes."When Nate reached the crime scenehe saw an officer and a woman with handcuff on her wrists.He got out of the car and walked to them.
"Is she a suspect?" he asked the officer.
"Yes inspector.She came here and confessed that she killed him.she also showed us where she hid his wallet and the murder weapon.She's all yours inspector."the officer pushed her towards Nate.
"Thanks"he said as he lead the woman to his car.

"Ma'am, you could tell everythig in the station and i suggest you to hire a good lawyer"Nate cut her off.He was thinking about CD and he didn't exactly hear what the woman has told.For the rest of the drive they both kept silence.
"Here we are "Nate said as he reached the station.He leaded the suspect to the Division.

*An hour later*

"So."Kate looked at Nate as he finished questioning the woman.
"She confesed everything.She said she didn't mean to kill him she just wanted to teach him."Nate replied.
"What do you mean to teach him?"Kate didn't undestand.
"Well,she was his girlfriend and she saw him kissing another woman,so she decided to teach him.She took a baseball stick and crushed his head"Nate explained.
"Oh,i see.Soyou solved out another case.You're free for tonight.And if you'll talk to CD tell her i hope she'll feel better tomorrow."She smiled.
"I will Cap.Bye"ne started gathering his stuff.
"Leaving a little early,aren't we?"he heard Jinny's voice behind him.
"Oh,hey Jin.Yeah,a little early but i'm finished with my case and Cap let me go home.
"Oh,and how's CD?Jinny wondered.
"I don't know.I haven't spoken to her since i took her home".
"I see.Well have i nice evening Nate.Bye".
"Bye"Nate said and left.At that moment Magda came in.
"Where's Nate going?"she asked Jinny.
"Home.He finished his case and Cap.let him."she explained.
"Something's going on here"Mag said as she sat downt on the chair.
"What do you mean?"
"Well,at first,in the morning,CD and Nate acted as if they were stoned and later CD threw up and Nate was jumping around her like she was a child."Mag explained.
"How do you know he was jumping around her?"
"A bird told me"She smiled.
"You're right somethind's going out here.But we don't know what.
"But we have to find out.Mag grinned.
"Definately"devilish sparkles twinkled in Jinny's eyes.
Meanwhile Nate was driving in his car.He wanted to call CD or even drop by,but he got rid of that idea as he thought thet she was probbably sleeping.

"Good morning everyone!Nate greeted his co-workers as he entered the Division."Where's CD?"he asked puzzled.Nate hoped to see CD sitting by the desk but her chair was empty.
"I wanted to ask you the same"Kate walked to him.
"I don't know.ithought she'd be here by now.Usually she's not late"he answered."Mabye i should call her"Nate picked up the phone and dealed CD's number.
A phone ring woke up CD.Suddenly she jumped out of the bed and ran to the bathroom.A few minutes later she washed her face and ran to answer the phone which was still ringing.
"Hello"she currled up in her bed.
"God,CD where've you been?"Nate asked almost shouting.
"I've been throwing up"
"You've been what?!"now he was shouting.
"You heard me.Listen Nate,i don't think i'll go to work today.I still don't feel an better.Maybe you were right.I should see a doctor"she sighed.
"Oh,i'm so sorry CD.And yes,go to the doctor.Right now OK?"he smiled.Although CD couldn't see his face she knew he was smiling.
"I promise you.I love you"she smiled back.
"Me too.Listen,do ya want me to take ya to the doctor.because if yes i could......."
"No,i'll be fine.Besides you have to work"CD cut him off.
"OK,bye".
"Bye"CD hung up the phone

"Mrs. DeLorenzo,the doctor is ready to receive you.Follow me"the nurse lead her to the doctor.
"So what's wrong ?"the doctor asked her as she sat down in front of him.
"well,i've been throwing up since yesterday"she said.
"Do you have any idea why this could be happening to you?"
"I'm a cop and the first time when i threw up was when i saw a dead body.But i often see dead bodies and i usually don't puke.At first i thought it was because of that but this morning i didn't feel better and.........i don't know"CD explained.
"We'll run some tests and find out what's wrong with you.Do you have time for this?"he asked.
"Sure".

*An hour later*

"So,we've ran some tests and one of them was possitive"the doctor said with a little smile.
"What's going on doctor?Something serious?"CD was worried.
"Not exactly".
"Then what?Tell me!she wanted to find out what was wrong.
"Nothing that won't pass in nine months"the doctor laughed.

"Thank you,good-bye"and she left.Tere were thousands of thoughts in her head.*How did this happened?*she thought.*We've been very carefull.But still...What's Nate going to say?Will he be happy about this?Or would he tell me to end a pregnancy?No no no.Nate would never say something like that.And.........how will i tell him?How will i tell everyone?*CD was very confused.She didn't know what was going to happen but she knew one thing.She will keep Nate's baby no matter what.Stll couldn't believe she was pregnant,CD came home.She was sitting on the couch and looking to one dot.Then she stood up and went to the mirror.She looked at herself trying to imagine how will she look like whe her abdomen grows bigger,and touched her belly lovingly. I't was a nice feeling to know that there was a baby inside her. Nate's baby.It was a little after the midday so CD had time to think what was she going to say Nate.

CD was sitting on her couch under the blanket,watching TV.She had taken the medicine that the doctor gave her and felt better by then.She headr the knocking on the door and went to see who it was.When she opened the door she saw a big bonquet of dark blue roses in front of her nose.she loughed loud realising it was Nate behind the bonquet.
"What's so funny?"a familiar voice asked .
"Come in"CD dragged him into her apartment.
"Do you always invite all the men,who bring flowers to you,into your apartment?"Nate teased.
"Mmmm,no.Just the special ones"she smiled and gave him a long kiss.
"I see.these are for you"he handed her the roses.
"Thanks,they're beautiful.I'll go soak them"she went to get the vase.
"So ow do you feel?"Nate asked when CD came back.
"Much better,actually"she smiled.
"Have you seen the doctor?"he sat down on the couch.
"Yes"she sat beside him and looked at him seriously.
"And what did he say?"Nate was a little worried.
"That's what i wanted to talk to you about"CD looked at his eyes.
"Is.......is there something wrong?"now he was concerned.
"No,yes,no.I mean......sort of.I mean......well,i'm.God,this is harder than i thought it would be.I've been thinking how i snould tell you this but.........."she stood up.
"But what?CD,if there's something wrong you can tell me.i promise i'll be there for you no matter what happens"Nate stood up too and took CD's hands into his.*Ok CD.you can do this.just tell him*she thought.
"..................i'm pregnant"she looked at their hands.
"You.............I..............emmm............"Nate was shocked.He didn't know what to do or what to say.He didn't know anything at that moment.but suddenly he realised what he felt about CD and the baby.He took her into his arms and started spinning her.
"We're having a baby!!!!"he shouted happily.
"So.......you're happy?"she asked a little shy.

"So,how far along?"he asked smiling.
"7th week."she put her palm on his."So what are we gonna do?"she got serious again.
"Well,i think we're gonna have a baby,get marry and live like all the other families"he looked into her eyes.
"Marry?Nate,i don't want you to marry me just because i'm pregnant" CD exclaimed.Nate was a little surprised.Many women in CD's situation would demand the man to marry her, but this one didn't want to get marry.*well,CD is not like many other women*Nate grinned to himself.
"Honey,i'm not marrying you because of the baby.........well yeah but.........i mean.CD, sooner or later i would have asked you to marry me.The baby just made things going faster.I thought about us a lot and realised that you're the woman i want to spend the rest of my life with.I love you CD.Will you marry me Candance DeLorenzo?"he knealed in front of her and took her hand.
"Yes,yes i will marry you"a tear roled down her cheek.Nate gently stroked her face,kissed her and embraced her tightly.
"I love you Candy"he whispered.
"I love you too.And............Candy"she chuckled.CD was a little surprised.Nate never called her Candance or Candy.
"Sorry,i know you don't like when....."he started but was interrupted by CD.
"I like it"she smiled.
"You do?"now Nate was surprised.
"Yes.I don't like when somebody calls me Candance or Candy but i love it when YOU do"she explained.
"Ok,so from now on i'll call you Candy"Nate kissed her cheek.
"What about the job?"CD got seriuos again.
"What about it?"Nate looked confused.
"What are we gonna tell everyone.And especially Cap?"
"The truth.That we love each other and gonna have a baby and gonna get marry"Nate giggled.
"and what about our partnership?I don't wanna lose you as my partner"she looked a little upset.
"We'll make something up".
"And our parents?When are we gonna tell them?"CD put her head on Nates chest.
"Ummm..........later,maybe.I don't know.We'll tell them but later.
"Fine"she sighed."Ya know it's late and i'm a little tired.I'd like to go to bed "she started getting up.
"Want me to stay?"Nate got up too.
"Actually i don't feel like...........making love tonight"she looked at him a little apologizing.
"and who's talking 'bout making love?I just thought maube i could fall asleep with you in my arms and wake up in the morning and see you sleepin beside me"he embraced her.
"Let's go to bed"CD giggled.

*the next morning,the Division*

"Good morning"CD greeted everyone happily.
"Hiya you two"Raina chuckled.Somehow CD and Nate looked pretty happy today.
"Where's Jin and Mag?"Nate asked.
"They've got a case"Kate replied coming towards them."And you two"she pointed to CD and Nate"have lots of paper work to do.I suggest you to start right now"she said.
"Ok ok ,i'm already working,i'm working"Nate sat down on his chair and started scribbling something.CD just laughed and started working herself.But suddenly she jumped up and ran to the bathroom.A few minutes later she came back,looking pale.
"Are you OK"Nate asked.
"Yeah,it's just a morning sickness.I'll be fine"CD assured him.Suddenly she grabbed Nate's sholder and doubled up in pain.
"CD,CD what's wrong?"Nate jumped up and held her.
".......hurts.....w...."was all she managed to say.
"don't worry,everything's gonna be ok.Somebody call 911!"he shouted.
"It hurts..........it really hurts"she kept saying.
"I know Candy,i know"Nate tried to comfort her.
"I don't wanna lose our baby"CD was close to tears.
"Don't worry honey you won't"Nate tried to make her feel better.at that moment an ambulance arrived and brought CD to the hospital.Nate wanted to go together but nobody let him so he ran to his car and followed and ambulance.when he reached the hospitalhe rushed to emergency.
"Hello,i'm lookine for Candance DeLorenzo.She was brought her a minute ago"he was breathing heavily.
"Just a minute.Yes.....but you can't see her now.Why don't you sit right there and wait"the nurse suggested.
"Idon't wanna wait"Nate shouted.
"sir,calm down".
"I'm sorry.i'll wait there"he said and went to take a seat.He ran his hand through his hair.He couldn't even think about CD loosing the baby.He was so happy when she told him he was going to be a daddy.THEY were happy.Nate already started thinking about the baby names,clothes and all the other stuff.He couldn't imagine what would it be if everything ends now.

"Nate'how's CD?"Jinny shouted rushing towards him.Magda,Raina and Kate was there too.

"No,not exactly,but we can say so"Kate replied.
"I see..is there Nate among of you?
"That would be me"Nate stepped forward.
"Ms. DeLorenzo is awake and would like to see you now so if you follow me please"the doctor turned to go.
"Yes,of course"Nate said and followed the doctor.He and everyone else was confused.Why didn't the doctor tell them how was CD?Nate hoped to find everythind out when he sees CD.
"Heyyyyyy......."he smiled as he antered her room.
"Heyy"she smiled back.CD looked a little better but still a little weak.
"Doctor tewart told me you wanted to see me"he took a chair and sat next to the bed.
"Yeah.The doctor was going to tell me what was going on but i wanted you beside me"she looked at him shyly.
"I'm here now.doctor?"he looked at doctor Stewart and took CD's hand.
"Ok.i've got bad news and good news..he started but was cut off by Nate.
"Just tell me Candy didn't lose the baby"he was almost begging.

"The good news are that the baby is ok now".CD and Nate sighed in a relief.
"And the bad news?"CD asked still worried.
"Well,it's not that bad.It's just you will have to stay in bed for a while ,also you'll have to stay calm,no stress"the doctor explained.
"Calm?Doctor,i'm a cop!It's impossible to stay calm in my job"she pouted.
"Well,then you have to take a maternity leave"he said.
"Oh god"CD rolled her eyes.The doctor left and she with Nate were alone
"See,i told ya everithing's gonna be ok"he giggled and kissed CD's forehead.
"Yeah,you did.but i don't want to stay at home all the time.i'll fell like a prisoner"she pouted again.
"nobody says you'll have to stay at home all the time.It's just,you'll have not to overstrain"Nate tried to comfort her.
"Yeah,whatever"CD sighed.
"Ya know,all the Division gang id out there"Nate poited to the door"i think they would liketo know what's going on here".

"I'm fine.guys,there's something i and Nate would like to tell you." Nate sat douwn on the edge of CD's bed and and took her hand.everyone was looking at them wonderind what those two had to say.
"Well,the thing is that I...........we........we are having a baby"CD said and looked at her hands.everyone in the room stood speachless.This was the last thing they had expected.
"OH MY GOD!Congratulations!"Jinny shouted as she ran to hug them.everyone else hugged them too.
"When did this happened?"
"Are you planning to get marry?"
"Why didn't you tell us?"There were lots of questions and their co-workers wanted to hear the answers.
"It happened 7 weaks ago and,yes,we are planning to get marry because we love each other"now Nate spoke.
"And i'll have to ask a maternity leave for the rest of my pregnancy Cap."CD looked at her skyly.
"Of course.That will solve your partnership problem.Do you guys know what should i have to do with you two?"she looked at them.CD and Nate didn't replie just looked at each othr and then at Kate.
"Oh,don't worry.I just want you to be happy.You deserved that"she smiled.
"And i htought you were going to eat as alive"Nate laughed.
"Yeah,yeah.Anyway,i'm sorry CD but we all have to leave you.There's lots of work back in the Division"Kate said.
"Ummm........Cap.,could i.Nate started but was cutt off by Kate.
"Yes you could stay wuth CD and take a day off.And the next day off if you need"she smiled
"Thanks Cap.You're the best.did ya know that?"Nate giggled.
"Of course i did"she grinned"get well soon CD".
"Ok"CD smiled and with that everyone left.

"I'm so glad you're ok.both of you"he gently stroked her belly.
"Me too.Nate,i was so scared"CD currled closer to him.
"I was scared too,but everything fine now,OK?"he kissed her. At that moment the doctor came in.
"Well,i can see you fell better now"he smiled when he sw CD and Nate kissing.
"Oh doctor...we didn't notice you"Cd said a little embarrassed.
"It's ok.I've got yout test results and i can tell you that tomorrow you can go home".
"Oh great!"CD was happy again.the doctor just laughed at that.
"You will have to drink medicine and take care of yourself if you don't want this to happen again".
"I'll do whatever you say doc."she giggled.
"Hungry?"Nate asked as the doctor left.
"Not really"CD shook her head.
"Thirsty?"
"No."
"Is there something i can do for you?"
"Nate,what's wrong with you?"CD didn't understand why Nate acted like that.
"Nothing.i just thought you might be hyngry or thirsty or something"he started explaining himself.
"Ohhhhhhhhh...........i get itNate,i'm not some kinda invalin ya know"
"And i didn't say you are.Candy,i just want to make sure that"he started but was cut off by CD.
"Y' know,if i need something i'll just tell ya .Deal?"she extended her hand.
"Deal".Nate didn't even realised himself why he was acting so patronize wtih CD.Maybe it was the pregnancy?Or maybe because she almost lost the baby?He didn't know but he what his heart told him.He knew that he will be there for CD no matter what happends,no matter when or where..........................

"Hey beautiful"Nate said as he entered CD's room.
"Oh,hi"she smiled.
"How are you today?"he saked after he gave her a passionate kiss.
"Fine"
"And how's our little guy doing?"he looked at CD's belly.
"Mmmmm...........it says it's doing just great"she laughed "I'm ready to go".
"Then lets get outta here"Nate wrapped his hand around her waist and they left.CD felt a little tired and weak although she spend the whole last day and night in bed, so she and Nate drove in silence.CD was just sitting and watching the world go by.
"It's so nice to be at home"CD said as they entered her apartment.She dropped her keys on the table and sat down on the couch.Nate followed her and sat beside her.
"So what would ya like to do?"he asked.
"don't ya have to go to work?"CD was a little surprised.
"I took the day off so i can spend it with you"he smiled.
"Oh.Then i would like to eat first.the hospital food is horible"she made a face at that.
"Eat huh?Why don't you just sit here and relax and i'll make ya my special chicken smulgullion with banannas"he started getting up.
"You?Cook?Oh please"CD laughed.
"I can cook.you'll see"he went to the kitchen.CD watched him going and then turned on the TV.40 minutes later she smelled the cooking food and went to the kitchen to look how Nate was doing.She vas very surprised when she saw that her kitchen wasn't destroyed.
"So when can we eat?"she asked embracing him from the back.
"It's you"Nate was a little surprised.
"Of course me,silly.What did you expect to see?An Easter rabbit?"CD teased him.Nate didn't replied to that,just laughed.
"If you set the tabble we can eat in 5 mins"he said and got back to the pots.CD couldn't wait to sample his made food so she started setting the table.
"Ma'am,may i present you a special Nate Basso chicken smulgullion"he said as he put it on the table.
"Nate it looks great!"CD said with a surprise.
"Wait till you sample it"he said putting some food in her plate.CD tokk a gobbet and looked at Nate.
"What?You don't like it?"he said a little dissapointed.
"I've never thought i would say that but Nate,this is the best chicken smulgullion i ever ate."she smiled.Nate smiled back and they started eating.After they finished,Nate offered to wash the dishes and told CD to go and have a rest.She was a little bit angry with him for protecting her too much,but on the other hand she was very happy Nate cared about her and the baby so much.She saw a new side of Nathan Basso,that she had never seen before.
"So what'd ya like to do now?"Nate asked as he finished washing the dishes.
"I dunno.......we could go out.but someplace we could be alone.just you and me,ya know......."she smiled.
"And the baby"he looked at her with eyes full of love.
"And the baby"CD kissed him.
"I know!"he suddenly exclaimed happily."Candy,could you wait here for a minute"he stood up and headed to the bedroom.
"Yeah,sure"she replied surprised.CD was wondering what was Nate up to.About 5 mins later he got back grinning broadly.
"Pack your bags"he said grinning even more.

Sorry for not posting.My mother made me to go to my gram's and to stay there for a while. Anyway,here’s more ff


“Nate,what are you talking about?”CD didn’t understand.
“We’re going on vacation”he said smiling.
“Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh……………………………..what?”she was totally confused.
“I called Cap. and she said I can take this week off,so we have four wonderful days to spend together.Also,I talked to my friend.He’s got a cabbin in the fiorest and he said we can stay there.Natur,fresh air,birds singing……So what ya say?” he couldn’t stop smiling.
“Nate, this is………….oh my god. Yes,of course.I would love to”now CD was smiling too.
“OK. so now I have to go home and pack my stuff and to take the key from my friend.I’ll be back in about and hour.You’ll be ready by then?he stood up.
“Mhmm. I love you Nate”she kissed him.
“I love you two.Both of you”he said as he broke the kiss and then left. CD stood there for a moment and then went to pack.About an hour later Nate came back with a bonquet of flowers.
“These are for you”he handed them to CD.
“Thanks,they’re beautiful. What occasion?”
“No occasion. Just to cheer you up”he kissed her.
“You’re amazing. I’m ready to go”CD went to her bedroom to take her bags.
“What are you doing?!”Nate said shocked as he saw CD carrying the bags.
“well,I need to get my stuff”she said simply. Nate walked to her and took the bags from her.
“Honey,you can’t carry anything heavy in you condition”he looked at her.
“It’s just clothes………”CD protested but Nate cutt her off.
“Still…………………. I can carry it for you. That’s why I’m here for. Let’s go”he walked to the door.
“Let’s go”CD sighed and took her keys.

That weekend was the best time they had spent together. Both CD and Nate couldn’t believe everything was so perfect. They stayed in bed till the midday every day. Her morning sickness was almost gone because of the medicine she was taking so she felt good the most of the time. Nate was ‘jumping’ around CD all the time and she never complained about that like the other times. She decided just rest and let Nate take care about everything. She still couldn’t believe how lucky she was to have his by her side.When the time to leave had came neither of them wanted to leave their little ‘paradise’, but they both knew they had to.

I’ll be back tomorrow.Promise :)

“Hiya there!”Jinny greeted Nate as he entered the station.
“Oh hey Jin”Nate said smiling.
“Someone is very happy today”Magda smiled ”so how was the weekend?”
“It was awesome.We went to the cabin in the middle in the forest and……….. it was amazing guys” Nate remembered the time he and CD had spent together. Magda and Jinny looked at him and then to each other and smiled, happy for their friends. At that moment cap. sticked her head out of her office.
“Oh,hi Nate.May I speak to you for a moment?”she asked.
“Sure”he walked to Kate’s offiice. “So what’s up Cap.?”
“At first,how was your weekend?”Kate wanted to know.
“It’s the best weekend ever Captain”Nate replied smiling.
“I’m happy for you but that’s not what I wanted to talk to you about.I wanted to say that from now on you’ll have to work with Raina.”Nate didn’t respond just chuckled.
“So as I see there won’t be any problem.Well,then you can go.There is a case waitng for you and your new partner.You’ll find it on your desk.”
With that Nate left.he thought what it would be like to work with Raina. Although he didn’t think it was a brilliant idea, he thought it would be kinda fun,so he went to his desk,took the folder and headed to Raina’s desk.
“Hey partner”he smiled.
“Oh,so Cap already told ya.I hope you don’t mind working with me.I mean I know how close you and CD were so…………….”
“Hey,it’s ok,really”Nate cut her off.Nate rolled his eyes.She already started bugging him so he was wondering where hisand Raina’s partnership will lead.
“We heard you two are partners now,huh?”Mag and Jinny walked to them.
“Yeah and we already have our first case”Raina replied with a smile.She was happy that from now on Nate was her parter.She knew that he was the best that she could learn from,how to be the hell of a cop.
“And you Raina watch out.Nate has a very…aaaaaaaaaa……….dangerous illness. It is called “seduce your partner” Jinny ‘warned ‘ her giggling.
“Yeah yeah, very funny”Nate said sarcastically when all three woman began to laugh.
“It was just a joke Nate”Magda patted him on the back and got back to her work.


Finally the evening came and Nate’s work hours finished.He was very glad he could go to CD’s and to spend the evening or the night with her.During the day he called CD nearly every hour to make sure she and the baby were fine.

As Nate was walking towards the car his cell ringed.
“Inspector Basso”
“Ummm…..hello.This is ofiicer Carter.I wanted to ask you if you know a woman. She was hit by the car and the only thing she had was this cell phone so we decided to call the last number she called. This woman is very tall,blondie,about 30.Do you know her?”
Nate felt his heart go down.He couldn’t speak for a minute as he realized that the ofiicer was talking about CD.His CD.
“Yes,where is she?”Nate almost whispered.
“She’s in the hospital.Could you……………..”
“Which one”Nate cut him off.When Carter told him which hospital CD was in, Nate hung up and rushed to CD.When he entered the hospital he froze for a moment.This was so familiar to him.Nearly a week ago he came through the emergency door because there was something wrong with CD.And now everything was happening again.
I’m looking for Candance DeLorenzo “he said as he came to the woman behind the desk.Suddenly he remembered that they didn’t know her name,”I mean,I’m looking for a woman.She was brought here about……………..i don’t know where she was brought here.She’s blondie ,tall,33.she was hit by the car or something”Nate said.
“Oh yes.She’s at the surgery now.I don’t know anything else.when the doctor comes he wi8ll tell you more.I need you to give me some information.”
Nate told her what she asked and then went to the surgery waiting room.Nate thought he was going insane.He wasn’t sure if he could stand this again.He called Cap and tols her what happened.About an hour later she,Raina Jin and Mag were there.
“How are you?”Kate asked as she put one hand on his shoulder.
“I’ll be ok when the dictor tells me CD and the baby are gonna be fine”he answered not looking at anyone,just staring at the floor.He was fighting the urge to cry.
“I’m so sorry Nate”Jinny hugged him.Nate didn’t replied.A few tears rolled down his cheeks.
The doctor came out of the surgery.The nurse talked to him for a moment and then he came to Nate.
“Candance DeLorenzo?”he asked seriously.
“How is she”Nate looked at him,brushing some tears away.
“the injuries were very serious and she lost a lot of blood.I’m very sorry.we weren’t able to save her”ha said.Everyone was silent.Tears appeared in their eyes.
“C………..c……….could I see her?”Nate asked.
“Yes”the doctor nooded abd lead him to the surgery.When Nate saw CD he burst out crying.
“Candy,sweetie.Wake up.Please.Candy”he began to cry even harder as he took her hand.
“No,CD,no…………he he stroked her cheek.But there was no answer.Just silence.Nate’s heart was broken.He remembered all the fun love they shared,all the fun they had.He realized that there would be no other woman he would ever love.CD was the only one for him.Nate would have done anything to see CD again.Alive.Just even for a while.He would say how much he loved her and houw much she meant to him.And maybe,he would see her smiling.But then he realized that this could never be.His heart was filled with sorrow.
Since that day Nate changed.When CD died,his heart and soul died too.just his body was still alive………

Note: when I started writing this fanfic I didn’t plan to end it like this.But then I thought that almost all the fics have a happy ending so I decided to make this one different.
