I'm peachy with 7 or 8 hours. If I sleep 9, I wake up feeling tired. If I sleep 10+ (rare) I usually wake up with a nasty headache.

Kay Scarpetta 07-20-2003, 12:39 PM I can live on about 4 hours of sleep. I can of course sleep more than that, but it doesn't happen very often, except on some occasional weekends. Although I can live on a short amount of sleep, it contributes to my never-ending headache that is made up of stress, tension, and everything else possible Chad22 07-20-2003, 12:45 PM Originally posted by GrapeJelly I'm peachy with 7 or 8 hours. I never sleep anymore than that, though. Mr. Stefani 07-20-2003, 02:11 PM 6 at the most. Its weird, if I go to bed early(like 12) I sleep really late the next day. If i go to bed later(like 2am), i'll be up at 8am. Weird. dandelion wine 07-20-2003, 02:20 PM I can never get to sleep before 1 in the morning, but there are times when I'm lucky enough to have my full 8 hours.. which is what usually works best for me. Sleeping any later than that, and I'm either cranky or very sleepy for the rest of the day. Czas na Zywiec 07-20-2003, 02:23 PM Originally posted by Nirvana 6 at the most. But thats because I stay up so late and then wake up so early for work, so Im always drained. But if I can sleep in the next day, I like about 8 hours sleep. Some night's I won't go to bed until around 4:00AM, and the next day I will wake up around 2:00PM...I am a night owl, and when school starts back, it will prolly take me a month to get used to going to bed at a reasonable time (around 9:30) and getting up at 6:30. I am weird. I mean, I get the same amount of sleep almost it just doesn't feel like I do...weird! M82A1 07-20-2003, 06:32 PM Originally posted by ~LadyJess~ Wow, I must sleep the most of anyone here! Unwanted Angel 07-20-2003, 09:57 PM I can run on no sleep, but i'm grumpy, so i have to have at least 8 hours of sleep to be fine. Ewan's My Man 07-20-2003, 09:59 PM I'm REALLY weird when it comes to sleeping. Now, I'm a pain when I wake up, and it's hard to wake me up...and it usually takes me about an hour to stop feeling tired...but after that I'm pretty much set for the day. I loooooove sleeping in late. My mom wakes me up at 12 every day and since I go to bed at different times every night, that means less sleep. However, a week ago I hadta get up at 6:30 to drive my friend halfway home from the beach and I went to bed at like 3. After that first hour in the morning, I was fine...not tired or grouchy at all the rest of the day. During the school year I only get like 5-6 hours of sleep a night and I'm fine. I think that as long as I have a few days of 10-11 hour sleep, I'm good for a while. I'm sure that was kinda confusing...but that's how I am. Yupperdoo... bandito 07-20-2003, 10:01 PM I can function on 6 hrs of sleep, but I prefer 8-9 hrs. ~*Hannah_Lee*~ 07-20-2003, 10:09 PM I can sleep for a long time, about 10 hours. But dosent usually happen. I can go all day with only 4 hours though. Janice 07-20-2003, 10:51 PM Eight hours of sleep is perfect for me, 7 is decent. When it starts dipping below 7, I'm in trouble, and a total mess at 6 hours or under. Sleep affects everything about me--my appearance, my mood, my attitude and energy level. Lack of sleep makes me feel very weird, and I think too negative about everything. On a solid night's sleep, I'm in the best mood and feel I can conquer anything. :sleep2: *PinkLady* 07-21-2003, 12:04 AM I used to need about 8 or 9, but I've operated on 5-7 hours this whole summer. Very rarely do I sleep past 8 hours. :) I'm up almost every night talking to Leah_2oo6 over AIM, and I can vouch for the both of us being up past 4AM. Most of the time, I get up between 11 to 11:30 in the morning...I LOVE getting the mail, and I don't want my mom to get it while I'm at home...Which is fine, because she doesn't want to get it anyway. I love going outside to get it. :D ~LadyJess~ 07-21-2003, 12:17 AM Originally posted by M82A1 You sound just like my sister, she goes to bed at about, 4 AM and sleeps 'till, 2 - 3 PM. The only difference would be that I don't go to bed that late and if I do then I don't sleep as much, I'll normally wake up around noon. But if I got to bed at midnight I can easily sleep until noon the next day.
